Abstract

PT Sinergi Mitra Lestari Indonesi is a company engaged in the management and distribution of mining products, particularly tin and ferronickel. In its business operations, the company relies on warehouse performance as a central hub for controlling the flow of goods and information. This study seeks to identify and empirically analyze how warehouse capability, inventory management, and human resource competence contribute to the effectiveness of tin and ferronickel warehouse management at PT Sinergi Mitra Lestari Indonesia. Furthermore, the study explores how the effectiveness of warehouse management impacts the optimization of the company’s supply chain. Employing a quantitative approach, data were collected through questionnaires distributed to 229 respondents consisting of the warehouse staff, logistics personnel, and management level. This data is subsequently analyzed using the SEM-PLS method to analyze both direct and indirect relationships among variables. Furthermore, supply chain optimization significantly mediates the relationships between these independent variables and warehouse management outcomes, emphasizing its crucial role in translating operational capabilities into performance improvements. Among the predictors, warehouse capability demonstrates the strongest total effect on management effectiveness, highlighting the importance of infrastructure and technological support in logistics operations. This shows that PT Sinergi Mitra Lestari Indonesia must enhance warehouse efficiency, optimize space utilization, and strengthen supply chain processes to remain competitive in the mining sector.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the quality management of education in the first cohort of the Sekolah Penggerak program in Batam City, focusing on planning, implementation, evaluation, follow-up actions, as well as supporting factors, inhibiting factors, and resulting impacts. Key issues include teacher unpreparedness, limited competencies, technological barriers, and low parental involvement. The research employs the PDCA (Plan-Do-Check-Act) model using a qualitative multi-case study approach across 22 schools, with principals as primary subjects. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis, and analyzed inductively. The findings reveal that quality management was implemented in a structured manner: planning was participatory and data-driven using the SMART approach; implementation was adapted to school contexts through the Merdeka Curriculum, differentiated instruction, and technology integration; evaluation was conducted through assessments, reflections, and observations; and follow-up actions focused on enhancing teacher capacity, instructional methods, and school infrastructure. The success of the program was supported by school leadership, stakeholder collaboration, and government policies, although it faced challenges such as limited resources, resistance to change, and rigid bureaucracy.

Abstract

Green Religiosity has been increasingly recognized as a key driver of pro-environmental behavior, particularly within faith-based communities. This study aims to empirically examine the influence of Green Religiosity on Green Behavior within Nahdlatul Ulama (NU). It further investigates the mediating role of Green Psychological Climate and the moderating role of Individual Green Values. Data were collected using a quantitative approach from 80 respondents affiliated with 20 institutions under the East Java Regional Board of Nahdlatul Ulama (PWNU Jawa Timur). The data were analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM). The findings reveal that Green Religiosity significantly influences Green Behavior and plays a crucial role in shaping Green Psychological Climate. However, Green Psychological Climate does not significantly enhance Green Behavior nor mediate the relationship between Green Religiosity and Green Behavior. Additionally, Individual Green Values do not moderate the effects of Green Religiosity or Green Psychological Climate on Green Behavior.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the Project-Based Learning (PjBL) model on the poetry writing skills of fourth-grade elementary school students. The background of this study is the low ability to write poetry caused by conventional learning approaches and the lack of use of visual media. The method used is a pseudo-experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The subjects consisted of 30 fourth-grade SD Negeri Mekarsari 5 students who were given learning using the pjbl model assisted by Image media during seven meetings. The main instrument is a test of poetry writing skills assessed based on five aspects: diction, language style, rhyme, suitability of content and theme, and the meaning of poetry. The analysis showed a significant increase in poetry writing skills scores after applying the PjBL model. ANOVA test showed that the PjBL model significantly affects learning outcomes (F = 55,473; p < 0.001), and there is interaction with the initial skills of learners. These findings prove that the PjBL model effectively improves poetry writing skills and can be an alternative to creative learning in elementary school.

Abstract

This study developed and evaluated Bytethink7, a Virtual Reality (VR)-based learning medium to improve Computational Thinking (CT) skills among seventh-grade students at SMP Negeri 3 Jatipuro, Indonesia. The application was designed using the 4D model (Define, Design, Develop, Disseminate) and developed with Unity3D, SketchUp, Blender, Vroid, and Adobe Photoshop. Validation by two media experts and two subject matter experts yielded highly satisfactory results, with a Likert score of 86.25%, Aiken’s V of 0.825 (very high content validity), and all content criteria met according to the Guttman scale (100%). Black-box functionality testing showed the application runs perfectly (100%), while testing with 22 students yielded an average System Usability Scale (SUS) score of 74, categorized as “Good/Acceptable.” These findings indicate that Bytethink7 is effective as an interactive learning medium that supports the constructivist learning-by-doing principle and can serve as a solution to the lack of CT learning tools at the junior high school level. Further research is recommended to test its impact on CT skill attainment and compare it with other educational technologies.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the pragmatic functions of expressive speech acts in the creative interview between Taylor Swift and Martin McDonagh. The focus of this study is to identify the types of expressive speech acts that emerge and their role in building interpersonal relationships and creating an authentic communication atmosphere. This research employs a descriptive qualitative method with pragmatic discourse analysis techniques. Data was collected through video interview transcripts between the two figures, then analyzed based on Searle's speech act theory and Leech's politeness principle to identify the forms and functions of expressive speech acts used. The research results show that expressive speech acts such as expressions of gratitude, apologies, compliments, and sympathy are predominantly used in this interview. The use of these expressive speech acts functions to strengthen interpersonal relationships, build creative solidarity, and create a warm and personal conversational atmosphere. Furthermore, the egalitarian and creative interview context contributes to enriching the expressive dimension in the interaction, making the communication feel more authentic and meaningful for both speakers and the audience. These findings affirm the importance of expressive speech acts in building effective communication in the media and entertainment domain.

Abstract

Although Indonesian Generation Z demonstrates strong commitment to climate change mitigation, their actual green behavior remains limited. This study examines the influence of product attributes on green purchasing behavior, with environmental awareness as a mediating variable. Data were collected from 113 respondents representing Generation Z in Indonesia and analyzed PLS-SEM using SmartPLS 4. Findings indicate that product attributes positively influence environmental awareness, but environmental awareness does not directly or indirectly affect green purchasing decisions. Factors such as green product characteristics, ecological sensitivity, and environmental concern were found to shape sustainable purchasing behaviors among Indonesian Gen Z. Theoretically, this research expands the understanding of green consumption patterns and clarifies the conceptual link between product attributes and environmental awareness in the Indonesian youth context. Practically, the study offers managerial insights and actionable recommendations to encourage green purchasing in this demographic.

Abstract

The dense commercial areas that have sprung up around communities have led to the proliferation of commercial parking areas, which are intended to help consumers or customers who come to visit by tidying up their vehicles so that they are more organized and secure when left by consumers to shop or carry out activities in the commercial area. However, commercial parking areas often display signs stating, “We are not responsible for any losses,” which creates ambiguity regarding the parking management's responsibility, as if they are not involved in any losses experienced by consumers. This study aims to identify the limits of responsibility that should be borne by parking lot managers and to provide consumer protection. This study uses normative research with a deductive syllogism method based on the major premise, followed by the minor premise, and then both premises are drawn into a conclusion. A syllogism consists of two premises (major and minor) and one conclusion. The major premise is that commercial parking area managers are obligated to protect consumers' belongings or vehicles from any form of theft or other losses experienced by visitors. while the minor premise lies in the ambiguity of the statement “Any form of loss is not our responsibility,” which is clearly irrelevant to use as it would harm visitors or consumers and absolve the parking area operator of responsibility in the commercial area.
