Abstract

This research explores how changes in bank interest rates affected home sales in Indonesia, both before and after the Covid-19 pandemic, placing importance on the connection between interest rate changes and the real estate market's behavior. A quantitative analysis of data regarding interest rates, volumes of home sales, and relevant economic indicators shows that notable interest rate decreases before the pandemic generally aligned with an increase in home sales, which reflects the usual housing market reaction to more accessible financing. Post-pandemic, the analysis indicates a more complex interaction. Even with sustained low-interest rates, home sales saw a substantial decrease, likely due to increased economic uncertainty and shifting consumer preferences, in most cases influenced by the pandemic. These observations emphasize the importance of grasping market sentiment and purchasing behaviors, suggesting that healthcare crises can significantly alter economic activities, like real estate. Furthermore, the implications extend beyond real estate, advising policymakers and financial institutions to develop interest rate strategies that consider the changing landscape of consumer behavior in health-related crises. The study ultimately provides important insights into the housing market's resilience during external shocks and the role of financial policies in supporting economic stability amidst public health emergencies, therefore guiding effective economic recovery efforts.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the impact of export logistics regulations and the performance of logistics personnel on export performance, as well as their implications for the operational performance of the company. The increasingly complex and dynamic nature of export logistics regulations frequently hampers the smooth execution of export activities. Simultaneously, the quality of human resources in the logistics sector serves as a critical internal factor influencing the efficiency of export management. The research was conducted at PT. Sinergi using a quantitative approach, involving the distribution of structured questionnaires to 200 respondents from the logistics and export divisions. Data analysis was carried out using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) to assess the relationships among the studied variables. The empirical findings indicate that export logistics regulations significantly affect export performance, particularly with regard to the timeliness and completeness of export documentation. Moreover, the performance of logistics employees exerts a positive influence on the effectiveness of export processes. Enhanced export performance subsequently contributes positively to the company's operational performance, as reflected in cost efficiency, improved productivity, and increased customer satisfaction. These findings highlight the critical role of aligning external regulatory frameworks with internal organizational capabilities in enhancing export competitiveness. The study provides valuable insights for both corporate management and regulatory authorities in efforts to improve the efficiency and effectiveness of national export logistics systems.

Abstract

This study analyzes the impact of shopping habits and brand attachment on brand liking among Indonesian Uniqlo customers. The study utilized quantitative data gathered by 220 respondents who do have purchased or used Uniqlo products. The outcomes, fulfilled through Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM), draw that customers exhibiting strong task-oriented and experiential shopping orientations tend to form deeper emotional bonds by Uniqlo, as their shopping occasions align closely by their expectations and preferences. Furthermore, when customers perceive a strong congruence among the brand and their actual self, ideal self, social self, or ideal social self, they occasion heightened keepings of pride, correlation, and loyalty toward the brand. The R-squared of 0.800 draws that these issues describe 80% of the variance in emotional brand attachment. These findings handle fill some gaps in earlier studies, that rarely looked at these issues together, especially inside of Indonesia’s fashion market. The study draws that Uniqlo could boost customer loyalty by creating shopping occasions and messages that connect by how customers shop and how they see themselves. Overall, this study offers useful ideas both for theory and for real-world fashion brands working in emerging markets.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of organizational commitment (OC) and work engagement (WE) on turnover intention (TI), with transformational leadership (TL) as a moderating variable, among teachers at Sekolah Mutiara Bunda, Bandung. Employing a quantitative-verificative approach and survey method, data were collected from 98 respondents and analyzed using Moderated Multiple Regression (MMR). The first model indicated that both OC (β = –0.499, p < 0.001) and WE (β = –0.203, p = 0.048) significantly and negatively predicted TI, suggesting that higher levels of commitment and engagement reduce turnover intention. In the second model, the interaction effect between OC and TL was not statistically significant (β = –0.064, p = 0.376), indicating that TL does not moderate the relationship between OC and TI. Conversely, the interaction between WE and TL was significant (β = 0.222, p = 0.031), but in the opposite direction from the hypothesized model, suggesting that at high levels of TL, the negative impact of WE on TI weakens. The change in explained variance between models was modest (ΔR² = 0.022; p = 0.049), confirming the presence of a partial moderating effect. These findings emphasize the importance of strengthening organizational commitment and engagement to reduce turnover intention, while also reevaluating the contextual role of transformational leadership in retention strategies

Abstract

The intensifying global climate change has made carbon emissions a strategic issue in the sustainable development agenda. Carbon emissions, which mostly come from fossil fuel combustion, urbanization, and industrial activities, are a major contributor to global warming. In the context of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs), particularly SDG 13 on climate action, controlling carbon emissions is crucial. This study aims to map research trends on carbon emissions in relation to the SDGs through a bibliometric approach. Data were collected from the Scopus database for the 2014–2024 period using the keywords ‘carbon emissions’ and ‘sustainable development goals,’ then analyzed using VOSviewer software. The results show a significant increase in the number of publications each year, with a sharp spike from 2019 to 2024. Bibliometric visualization shows that themes such as "sustainable development," "carbon emissions," and "renewable energy" are the main focus of attention in the literature. Institutions such as King Saud University and the Chinese Academy of Sciences demonstrate significant contributions to publications, while China, India, and Turkey are the countries with the highest number of publications. Network visualizations, topic development (overlay), and research density demonstrate strong relationships between topics and a shift in research focus from economic issues to sustainability solutions and climate change mitigation. This study makes a significant contribution to understanding the direction and dynamics of research related to carbon emissions within the SDGs framework, and helps academics and policymakers identify research gaps and potential cross-disciplinary collaborations to promote more sustainable development.
