Abstract

The cellular phone industry is characterized by rapid technological innovation, intense competition, and continuous digital transformation. In early 2026, the global smartphone market was dominated by flagship models such as the Apple iPhone 17, Samsung Galaxy S25 Ultra, and Google Pixel 10, while premium performance devices including the OnePlus 15 and Samsung Galaxy Z Fold 7 led in advanced technological capability. In the mid-range and entry-level segments, devices such as Redmi 15C, TECNO Spark 40 Pro+, and Samsung Galaxy A07 gained significant market attention. This dynamic environment requires organizations within the cellular phone industry to strengthen digital human resource strategies to retain high-performing talent. This study examines the effect of Digital HR Analytics Capability on Talent Retention, with Employee Trust in Technology positioned as a mediating variable. This research adopts a quantitative explanatory design using a survey of employees working in companies engaged in the development, production, and distribution of leading smartphone brands in early 2026. Structural Equation Modeling (SEM) was employed to test the direct and indirect relationships among Digital HR Analytics Capability, Employee Trust in Technology, and Talent Retention. The findings indicate that Digital HR Analytics Capability has a positive and significant effect on Employee Trust in Technology. Employee Trust in Technology significantly influences Talent Retention, and Digital HR Analytics Capability also directly affects Talent Retention. Furthermore, Employee Trust in Technology partially mediates the relationship between Digital HR Analytics Capability and Talent Retention. These results suggest that data-driven HR decision-making systems, predictive workforce analytics, and transparent digital performance management enhance employee confidence in technological systems, which in turn strengthens retention intentions. This study contributes to strategic human resource management literature by extending digital capability frameworks into high-technology manufacturing industries. Practically, the findings highlight that companies in the cellular phone industry must not only invest in advanced HR analytics systems but also build employee trust in digital technologies to sustain competitive human capital advantages.

Abstract

This study investigates how halal logistics certification in Indonesia can be accelerated using a system dynamics approach to sustainable logistics governance. Certification is conceptualized as a dynamic governance system rather than a static compliance process, addressing persistent challenges such as long lead times, high costs, limited auditor capacity, and uneven service quality. Service quality dimensions of Halal Inspection Body  (LPH)   were first assessed using SERVQUAL across 77 halal-certified logistics companies, while their relative importance was determined through the Analytic Hierarchy Process (AHP) based on expert judgments. These weighted indicators were then integrated into a system dynamics model, supported by a review of 32 peer-reviewed studies, to simulate policy intervention scenarios. Simulation results indicate that coordinated improvements in auditor capacity, service quality, digitalization, and regulatory coordination primarily drive certification acceleration. Integrated policy-mix interventions generate non-linear performance gains, significantly improve certification lead-time rates and cost rates, while enhancing system stability and stakeholder satisfaction. The study provides policy-relevant insights for regulators and logistics service providers to strengthen sustainable halal logistics governance in Indonesia.

Abstract

Despite the rapid adoption of AI-based design tools, limited research examines how women interpret their interaction with generative AI within digital product production and platform-based communication. Existing studies largely emphasize technological efficiency or algorithmic visibility, leaving underexplored the reflective communicative processes occurring during human–AI collaboration. This study addresses this gap by investigating women’s lived experiences in producing and communicating digital products using Canva AI on Instagram. Using an interpretative phenomenological analysis (IPA) approach, the research involved seven women aged 22–35 who actively use AI-enabled features in Canva. Data were collected through semi-structured in-depth interviews and qualitative analysis of Instagram posts, and analyzed through iterative coding, thematic clustering, and interpretative synthesis. Findings are organized into five themes: Canva AI as a collaborative production tool; authenticity as negotiated curation of AI outputs; creative agency through prompt-writing and modification; visual aesthetics as product identity strategy; and Instagram as a site of visibility negotiation. The study conceptualizes human–AI interaction as dialogic digital communication and highlights AI tools’ potential to expand women’s creative-economic participation while sustaining agency.

Abstract

This study aims to identify the factors that affect employee turnover through job satisfaction in airports in Indonesia. This research employs a literature review approach by synthesizing findings from various previous international, indexed scientific publications related to the research topic. The study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review design. Data were obtained from reputable international indexed journals sourced from databases such as Scopus, Web of Science, Emerald, Springer, and Google Scholar. The selected literature was examined using data reduction techniques, matrix-based data presentation, and comparative synthesis to identify patterns, similarities, and differences among the studies. The findings indicate that motivation, organizational commitment, organizational culture, and leadership have an influence on employee turnover in Indonesian airports, both directly and indirectly through job satisfaction. However, this study has several limitations. Since it relies on a literature review approach, the results remain conceptual and depend heavily on the quality and scope of previous studies, without incorporating primary empirical data from airport employees. Furthermore, the generalizability of the findings is limited to the context of Indonesian airports and sectors with similar operational characteristics. This study provides a conceptual contribution by integrating the effects of motivation, organizational commitment, organizational culture, and leadership on employee turnover through job satisfaction within the airport context. The novelty of this research lies in the integration of four key human resource management factors into a single conceptual framework, highlighting the role of job satisfaction as a mediating mechanism in explaining employee turnover in the airport sector, which has not been extensively explored in previous studies.

Abstract

The rapid growth of digital technology has increased retail investor participation through Digital Trading Communities (DTCs), which function as platforms for financial information exchange and social interaction. However, empirical evidence on how these communities influence retail investor behavior and financial decision-making remains limited. This study examines the strategic role of DTCs in shaping investment decisions, risk perception, and personal financial management. A mixed methods approach was employed by combining thematic analysis of discussions in digital trading forums and semi-structured interviews with retail investors, alongside a quantitative survey of 125 active retail investors who are members of digital trading communities. The results show that DTCs facilitate collective learning and help investors interpret market information, thereby reducing uncertainty in investment decisions. However, strong social interaction within these communities also reinforces behavioral biases, particularly herding behavior and overconfidence, which may negatively affect decision quality. This study contributes to the behavioral finance literature by demonstrating how digital community participation simultaneously functions as a learning mechanism and a behavioral risk amplifier. Practically, the findings provide insights for regulators and capital market institutions in promoting digital financial literacy while mitigating behavioral risks in online investment communities.

Abstract

This study examines the effects of the transportation and warehousing sector, tourism, and agriculture, forestry, and fisheries on economic growth, with Local Own-Source Revenue (PAD) serving as an intervening variable in regencies traversed by the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road (JTTS) in Lampung Province. The research covers six regencies—South Lampung, Central Lampung, Mesuji, Pesawaran, Tulang Bawang, and West Tulang Bawang—over the period 2020–2024, producing a balanced panel dataset of 30 observations. Panel data regression is applied using the Random Effects Model (REM), selected through Chow, Hausman, and Lagrange Multiplier tests. The mediating role of PAD is analyzed using the Sobel test. The results indicate that transportation and warehousing have a positive and statistically significant effect on economic growth. Similarly, agriculture, forestry, and fisheries also show a positive and significant direct effect on economic growth. In contrast, tourism exhibits a negative and significant direct effect, suggesting limited multiplier effects during the observation period. PAD does not have a statistically significant direct effect on economic growth. In the PAD model, only agriculture, forestry, and fisheries demonstrate a positive and significant influence, while transportation and warehousing and tourism do not significantly affect regional revenue. Mediation analysis reveals that PAD significantly mediates the relationship between transportation and warehousing and economic growth, as well as between agriculture and economic growth. However, PAD does not mediate the effect of tourism on economic growth. Overall, the findings suggest that the economic impact of the Trans-Sumatra Toll Road in Lampung Province operates primarily through improvements in logistics efficiency and enhanced agricultural distribution networks, with selective fiscal transmission effects. These results highlight the importance of integrating infrastructure development with sectoral upgrading and effective fiscal management to ensure sustainable and inclusive regional economic growth.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze traditional food strategies in facing competition with foreign foods using Dynamic Capability Theory, with product innovation as a mediating variable in Micro, Small, and Medium Enterprises (MSMEs) culinary in Bekasi City. The research uses a quantitative approach with a survey design, where data is obtained through the distribution of questionnaires to culinary MSME actors in Bekasi City who were selected due to the rapid growth of the culinary sector. Data analysis was carried out using the Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) method, including validity, reliability, and path analysis tests to test the direct and indirect relationships between variables. The results of the study show that Digital Transformation and Knowledge Management as dynamic capabilities have a positive and significant effect on the business performance of culinary MSMEs. Product innovation acts as a mediator that strengthens the influence of these two variables on business performance, thereby increasing the competitiveness of traditional foods in the face of foreign food. Theoretically, this study strengthens the application of Dynamic Capability Theory in explaining the ability of culinary MSMEs to sense, capture, and reconfigure to maintain a competitive advantage. This study has a limited scope that only focuses on Bekasi City, so the results cannot be fully generalized to other regions, as well as limitations of secondary data that can affect the depth of analysis. However, this research makes an original contribution by integrating Digital Transformation and knowledge management within the framework of Dynamic Capability Theory with product innovation as a strategic mechanism, while highlighting efforts to revitalize traditional cuisine as a strategy to deal with the dominance of foreign food in the era of globalization.

Abstract

The current issue faced by PT Astra Daihatsu Motor is the high rate of Personal Protective Equipment (PPE) replacement, which is caused by various contributing factors. This study aims to examine and analyze the effects of workload, number of workers, procurement forecasting, and the “WeCare” one-system service on the optimization of PPE procurement stock at PT Astra Daihatsu Motor, as well as to generate procurement forecasting calculations for PPE for the year 2025. This research employs a mixed-methods approach, combining qualitative and quantitative methods. Observations were conducted to examine existing phenomena related to PPE replacement. Furthermore, the research population consists of employees from the three divisions with the largest workforce located at the Karawang Assembly Plant of PT Astra Daihatsu Motor. A total of 591 respondents were selected as the research sample from a population of 2,499 employees. The results of the study indicate an R-square value of 46.1%, which means that workload, number of workers, procurement forecasting, and the “WeCare” one-system service collectively contribute 46.1% to the optimization of PPE procurement stock, while the remaining 53.9% is influenced by other factors. Procurement forecasting related to PPE replacement was also carried out using the Holt–Winters method to optimize PPE procurement for the year 2025. Based on the findings of this study, it is expected that management can conduct evaluations of PPE procurement, particularly to improve the optimization of PPE procurement stock.
