Abstract

This community service program aims to empower local communities by improving their capacity to process strawberries (Fragaria) as a local superfood through a sustainable gastronomy approach. The initiative promotes local economic independence, environmental preservation, and the adoption of sustainability principles in culinary practices. The program was conducted through socialization, demonstrations of the Low Temperature Cooking (LTC) technique, and hands-on training in producing processed products such as strawberry jam, low-sugar cakes, and fermented beverages. The one-day training involved 30 participants, including farmer groups, culinary MSME actors, and local residents. The evaluation revealed a 40% increase in participants’ knowledge and skills after the training. Participants also initiated the formation of small culinary business groups focusing on strawberry-based local products. The application of the zero waste concept was achieved through utilizing strawberry waste as organic fertilizer, supporting a circular economy model. This program effectively enhanced community awareness of sustainable gastronomy and fostered economic empowerment through innovation in local food processing. It demonstrates a replicable model for promoting food security, strengthening local culinary identity, and supporting sustainable economic growth in rural communities.

Abstract

Health is a crucial factor in supporting the work productivity of State Civil Apparatus (ASN). However, busy schedules and high work mobility often lead ASN to neglect their health, including routine health checks. The low participation of ASN in free health checks indicates a limited awareness of the importance of early disease detection and healthy living. This study aims to analyze the level of awareness of healthy living through health checks among ASN in Medan City and to explore the work and mobility factors that influence this behavior. The approach used was descriptive qualitative, with data collected through in-depth interviews with informants from ASN in Medan City government agencies. The results showed that the majority of ASN understand the importance of maintaining health, but awareness of consistently undergoing health checks remains low. The main factors influencing this are high workloads, limited time, and the perception that physical conditions are still "healthy" so that check-ups are not considered urgent. However, some informants stated that support from the agency, easy access to services, and interesting and interactive outreach can increase their motivation to participate in healthchecks.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Integrated Center for Inten Suweno (STIS) in improving the competitiveness of prospective workers with disabilities. Using a qualitative descriptive approach, data were collected through interviews, documentation, and observation. The results of the study show six main findings, namely the limited dissemination of vocational training to remote areas, the incompatibility of the training curriculum with job market trends, obstacles related to the character and background of the beneficiaries, the inconsistent absorption of alumni by partner companies, the existence of stigma from the world of work, and the training period being too short. These findings were analyzed using management theory and human resource management theory and compared with ten previous studies. The study concluded that although STIS plays an important role in empowering persons with disabilities, improvements are needed in curriculum alignment, partnership consistency, and policy support to achieve sustainable competitiveness.

Abstract

This program aims to strengthen the role of students as peer educators and to develop digital campaigns supporting the implementation of SFA within schools and at home. The activities began with initial coordination and a needs assessment conducted in collaboration with the principal and supervising teachers to map students’ readiness and interests. Based on the selection results, fifteen students were chosen as SFA Ambassadors. The subsequent stages included peer educator training, followed by the production of educational digital content, in which students created digital comics using the Canva application. The comics featured themes such as the dangers of smoking, peer influence, the benefits of healthy living, and the importance of SFA implementation in schools. These were then disseminated through digital campaigns and peer education activities. The program concluded with monitoring and evaluation, including surveys of students and parents, analysis of digital engagement, and reflections from the peer educators. The results of this community service activity successfully achieved its primary objectives, namely enhancing students’ capacity and role as agents of change in creating a smoke-free school environment. Through training, mentoring, and digital campaigns, students demonstrated improved understanding of the dangers of smoking, awareness of the importance of smoke-free policies, and developed communication and creative skills in delivering health messages to their peers and the surrounding community

Abstract

The digital transformation of occupational health has led to various innovations that enhance efficiency, safety, and medical service quality. One notable breakthrough is ProHealth (Pertamina Robotic Health), developed by the Continuous Improvement Program (CIP) team at PT Pertamina Patra Niaga Region Sumbagut. This study examines the clinical impact and efficiency of using ProHealth as a daily health monitoring system (Daily Check Up/DCU) to strengthen the Fit To Work program in high-risk environments. Using a descriptive qualitative approach, data were collected through interviews, field observations, and document reviews involving medical staff and workers who routinely use the system. Findings reveal that ProHealthreduced average health check durations from 4 minutes 11 seconds to 1 minute 13 seconds per worker, eliminated overtime costs for medical teams, and minimized COVID-19 transmission risks through its fully automated, contactless operation. The system targets seven high-risk groups—security personnel, fuel truck drivers (AMT), heavy equipment operators, height workers, general drivers, confined space workers, and divers who face substantial occupational hazards. ProHealth enables real-time monitoring of physical conditions, increases readiness, and fosters a technology-driven safety culture. Overall, this innovation improves time and cost efficiency while strengthening the company’s Health, Safety, Security, and Environment (HSSE) framework through sustainable digital transformation.

Abstract

This study investigates the influence of Beauty Influencers (X1) and Customer Reviews (X2) on the Purchase Intention (Y) of d'Alba products in Palembang. A quantitative approach was employed, using structured questionnaires to collect clear and measurable insights into consumer behavior. Respondents were chosen through purposive sampling to ensure that participants were familiar with d'Alba products and actively engaged with the digital platforms where the brand is promoted. The data underwent multiple stages of analysis. Initially, validity and reliability tests confirmed the accuracy and consistency of the measurement instruments. Classical assumption tests, including normality, multicollinearity, and heteroscedasticity checks, were performed to ensure the regression model met all statistical requirements. Multiple linear regression analysis was applied to examine the extent to which Beauty Influencers and Customer Reviews affect purchase intention. T-tests assessed the significance of each independent variable, while the coefficient of determination (R²) measured the proportion of variation in purchase intention explained by these variables. The findings demonstrate that both Beauty Influencers and Customer Reviews have a positive and significant effect on consumers’ purchase intentions for d'Alba products in Palembang. This highlights the crucial role of digital marketing and peer feedback in shaping modern purchasing decisions.

Abstract

Aralle Village, located in Aralle District, Mamasa Regency, is a highland area with an altitude of between 800 and 1,200 meters above sea level. This area has a cool climate with high rainfall that is very supportive of the cultivation of food crops, especially local rice such as red rice. This commodity has a distinctive taste and high nutritional value, so it has great potential to be developed as a superior local product. Unfortunately, this potential has not been fully utilized by the community, the majority of whom still practice traditional and subsistence farming. Limited access to infrastructure, particularly road conditions and agricultural product transportation, is a barrier to comprehensive agricultural development, from upstream to downstream. According to information from farmers around Aralle, the management of farmer groups does not pay attention to institutional aspects, marketing management aspects, and production aspects related to red rice, from planting to harvesting and post-harvest.
