Abstract

Motivation is a factor that must be included in the learning process so that the learning process can be successful.This article was written with the aim of describing how to increase students motivation by using strategies such as making miniatures at the Buddhist Sunday School (SMB), and to find out the obstacles and provide insight into students beliefs about Buddhism. The researcher uses case study qualitative method, data collection method uses observation, interview and documentation. The location of this research is the Budddhist Sunday School (SMB) Dhamma Sena, Vihara Sradha Dhamma, Pokoh, Wonoboyo, Wonogiri Regency. The subject of this study, namely the Buddhist Sunday School (SMB) teacher, as well as elementary school Sunday School students. The results of this study, namely the teacher s efforts in increasing student learning motivation are using gifts/reward, using interesting learning media, appropriate strategies such as using the case study method, carrying out outbound activities or outdoor activities, and a comfortable study room that is not cluttered.

Abstract

Multimedia Development of Virtual-Based Google Earth Learning in SKI Subjects in MTs, The development of virtual-based google earth learning multimedia is an effort to visualize places / locations in three dimensions because lectures are insufficient in expressing material orally and using media have not varied used by teachers so that students are unable to understand the material about SKI subjects. This has an impact on one of the factors that make SKI subjects difficult to understand. The research aims to develop multimedia learning SKI (History of Islamic Culture) in Madrasah Tsanawiyah Negeri 1 Solok by using an interactive multimedia format in showing the places where the dawah trip of Prophet Muhaamad saw. in Makkah and to find out the validity of virtual-based google earth learning multimedia. The research methods used are research and development (development research) the ADDIE model developed by Dick and Carry (1) needs analysis; (2) design of the developed product; (3) expert validation and revision; (4) field trials. Instruments for collecting data in this study are interviews, observations, validation sheets. The multimedia that has been developed is then tested for validity by experts using Aikens V. Research results show that the results of virtual-based google earth multimedia validation are categorized as very valid (0.915). Based on the validation results, this virtual-based google earth multimedia is valid for use in ski learning the dawah material of the Prophet Muhammad saw in Makkah.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out whether the use of Powtoon learning media affects the outcome of mathematics learning in elementary school multiplication materials. This study used a quantitative experiment method with a pre-test-post-test non-equivalent control design. The sample for this study was 40 students divided into Class II-A as an experimental class with 20 students and Class II-B as a control class with 20 students. In processing the data, researcher tested the analytical requirements, which consisted of a normality test using the Liliefors test with normal distribution results, and a homogeneity test for pre-test and post-test data using the Fishers test with homogeneous data results. The result of the hypothesis test using the t-test is tcount> ttable (30,098> 2,0930). From the result, it can be concluded that there is an effect of Powtoon learning media on mathematics learning outcomes in elementary school multiplication materials. Tujuan dilakukannya penelitian ini ialah menganalisis apakah terdapat pengaruh penggunaan media pembalajaran Powtoon pada hasil belajar matematika khususnya untuk materi perkalian sekolah dasar. Penelitian ini menerapkan metode kuantitatif menggunakan desain Pretest-Posttest nonequivalent control grup. Kemudian, sampel yang digunakan ada 40 siswa yang terbagi menjadi kelas eksperimen yakni kelas II-A sejumlah 20 anak dan kelas kontrol (kelas II-B) sejumlah 20 anak. Data diolah dengan melakukan uji persyaratan analisis, yakni uji normalitas dengan uji liliefors dengan hasil berdistribusi normal dan uji homogenitas data pretest dan post tes menggunakan uji fisher dengan hasil data homogen. Hasil pengujian untuk hipotesis dengan menerapkan uji-t dengan hasil thitung > ttabel (30,098 > 2,0930). Mengacu pada hasil yang diperoleh, disimpulkan bahwa ditemukan pengaruh media pembelajar powtoon pada hasil belajar matematika untuk materi perkalian siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Conto Village which is located in Bulakrejo, Wonogiri Regency has a lot of potentials, especially in the field of local wisdom which is used as a supporter of the economic field for mutual prosperity. This article aims to find out the process of developing a tourism village through local wisdom and community empowerment in Conto Village by using the theory of the use of local wisdom as a tourist attraction and community-based tourism. This research is descriptive qualitative research with data collection techniques through interviews, observation, and documentation. The results of the study show that some of the local wisdom in Conto Village has become a tourist attraction in addition to the natural tourism offerings of Soko Langit and Gua Resi . Local wisdom is presented in the form of traditional performing arts such as rebana, angklung, kethek ogleng, and reog . In addition, there are educational tourism and the mingling of tourists into the daily activities of the village community. Community empowerment through homestay management, home industry in the form of handicrafts and culinary arts, as well as tourism managers who are members of Pokdarwis (Kelompok Sadar Wisata/Tourism Awareness Groups) as an effort to improve the welfare of the local community.

Abstract

The development of persons second language was influenced by the way of acquired, either through formal or informal activities. This study discussed the phenomeneon of second language acquisition in the modern Islamic boarding school students of Nurussalam Sidogede, especially in English Acquisition. This study used qualitative approach which described descriptively. Observation and interview were methods used in data collection. The result of this study indicated that second language acquisition at this Islamic boarding school was through increasing vocabularies by providing three words everyday then applied directly into sentences related to the vocabularies that had been given. After that applied in daily communication among Kyai, administrators and students. Perkembangan bahasa kedua pada seseorang dipengaruhi oleh cara pada tahapan pemerolehannya, baik melalui kegiatan formal maupun informal. Penelitian ini membahas fenomena pemerolehan bahasa kedua pada santri pondok pesantren modern Nurussalam Sidogede khususnya pada pemerolehan bahasa Inggris. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif yang dipaparkan secara deskriptif. Observasi dan wawancara adalah metode yang digunakan dalam pengumpulan data. Hasil dari penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa second language acquisition di pondok pesantren ini melalui peningkatan vocabulary dengan memberikan tiga kata setiap harinya yang kemudian diaplikasikan langsung ke dalam contoh kalimat yang berhubungan dengan kosa kata yang telah diberikan, kemudian diterapkan dalam daily communication baik antar pengasuh, pengurus, dan sesama santri.

Abstract

The metaverse is increasingly developing into one of the innovations of the virtual world as a means to interact. Previous research has discussed the use of the Metaverse in various fields such as education, business, and religion, however, there is little research to understand the metaverse of what topics, brands, and terms appear in the conversation in the public sphere. This study seeks to identify which actors have an influence in conversations about the metaverse and what topics are developing in society, and opinions about the metaverse using the Twitter social media platform. Communication network analysis methods and text analysis methods are used to describe patterns in the form of structures in the network by crawling data on Twitter using Netlytic.org and Gephi software from April 14, 2022, to April 21, 2022, with the hashtag #metaverse, obtained 9,139 data sets. The results of this study indicate that the information in the #metaverse network is not dominated by one actor and the people involved in these conversations have a different diversity, the topics of conversation uploaded in the #metaverse hashtag network tend to be more about gaming and trading in digital assets such as cryptocurrencies, tokens, and NFT, only a small percentage of conversations relate the metaverse to certain topics such as education, business, government, and religion with various responses.. Metaverse semakin berkembang menjadi salah satu inovasi dunia virtual sebagai sarana untuk berinteraksi. Penelitian sebelumnya telah membahas pemanfaatan metaverse dalam berbagai bidang seperti pendidikan, bisnis, keagamaan, namun, hanya sedikit penelitian untuk memahami metaverse dari topik, merek, dan istilah apa yang muncul dalam pembicaraan di ruang publik. Penelitian ini berusaha untuk mengidentifikasi aktor-aktor mana saja yang memberikan pengaruh dalam percakapan tentang metaverse dan apa saja topik yang berkembang di masyarakat serta opini mengenai metaverse dengan menggunakan platform media sosial Twitter. Metode analisis jaringan komunikasi dan metode analisis teks digunakan untuk menggambarkan pola-pola dalam bentuk struktur dalam jaringan dengan cara crawling data pada Twitter menggunakan Netlytic.org dan software Gephi mulai dari 14 April 2022 sampai 21 April 2022 dengan tagar #metaverse didapatkan 9.139 data set. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa informasi di jaringan #metaverse tidak didominasi oleh satu aktor dan orang-orang yang terlibat dalam percakapan ini memiliki keragaman yang berbeda, topik pembicaraan yang diunggah dalam jaringan tagar #metaverse cenderung lebih banyak membahas game dan perdagangan aset digital seperti kripto, token dan NFT, hanya sebagian kecil percakapan yang mengaitkan metaverse dengan topik tertentu seperti pendidikan, bisnis, pemerintah dan agama dengan respon beragam.

Abstract

Recently the students have many obstructions on the words pronunciation style in studying English speech. So, the purpose of this research is to know the students English ability whether they can face the obstructions of words pronunciation in their English speech. This research used a descriptive qualitative design to obtain data concerning the research problems. There are three kinds of instrument used by the researcher to collect the data. They are questionnaire, interview, and practice to pronounce of word by reading. From the questionnaire, it was found 81 percent of students have the obstruction of words pronunciation style in learning English speech. From the interview found that there are 19 students can give some objective answers to the researcher and there are 6 students cannot give the unreasonable answer, meaning that allmost all students have problems in pronuncing the word. From practicing to pronounce words by reading can be seen from the test that there are several students who got obstruction in word pronunciation style in English study. From that, the students are expected to pay more attention to teachers explanation at the classroom to have certain ways to enhance vocabulary skills and by reading English texts.Akhir-akhir ini siswa memiliki banyak kendala pada gaya pengucapan kata-kata dalam mempelajari pidato bahasa Inggris. Jadi, tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui kemampuan bahasa Inggris siswa apakah mereka dapat menghadapi hambatan pengucapan kata dalam pidato bahasa Inggris mereka. Penelitian ini menggunakan desain deskriptif kualitatif untuk memperoleh data mengenai permasalahan penelitian. Ada tiga macam instrumen yang digunakan peneliti untuk mengumpulkan data. Yaitu angket, wawancara, dan latihan melafalkan kata dengan membaca. Dari angket, ditemukan 81 persen siswa mengalami hambatan gaya pengucapan kata dalam pembelajaran pidato bahasa Inggris. Dari hasil wawancara ditemukan bahwa ada 19 siswa yang dapat memberikan jawaban yang objektif kepada peneliti dan ada 6 siswa yang tidak dapat memberikan jawaban yang tidak masuk akal, artinya hampir semua siswa mengalami kesulitan dalam pengucapan kata. Dari latihan melafalkan kata dengan membaca dapat dilihat dari tes bahwa ada beberapa siswa yang mengalami hambatan dalam gaya pengucapan kata dalam pembelajaran bahasa Inggris. Dari situ, siswa diharapkan lebih memperhatikan penjelasan guru di kelas untuk memiliki cara-cara tertentu untuk meningkatkan kemampuan kosakata dan dengan membaca teks bahasa Inggris.

Abstract

The amount of the dowry and process causes of conflict in Bugis and Padang Pariaman traditional marriages and what values can be exchanged. This type of research is qualitative using a field research approach and historical and analysed using N-Vivo R1, ten informants involved. informants are representatives to answer the formulation of the problem. Based on the results of research, especially in the Bugis-Makassar community, disagreements will cause negative things such as marriages can be cancelled, debts, elopement, pregnancy out of wedlock and suicide, while in the Padang Pariaman community where the tradition of the woman giving some money to the man-men, and the men will do a manjalang event to change the dowry and the amount is more. The conclusion of the research in this process is that the potential for conflict that occur will be greater, due to differences in social status and the need for meaning of economic values.

Abstract

This research was conducted to identify the need for instructional media before the development of cooking video media. The results of this needs analysis will be the basis for making video materials for deaf students. Needs analysis needs to be done as part of the pre-development stage of the research and development (R&D) process, using research subjects of as many as 13 classroom teachers, as well as researchers conducting observations and collecting data through a google form questionnaire distributed via Whatsapp. Based on the research findings that to involve deaf students in the culinary learning process and generate a desire to learn, innovative learning media are needed so that deaf students can achieve maximum learning goals and improve learning outcomes.

Abstract

Minangkabau is an ethnic group in West Sumatra with a matrilineal ideology. The tradition of eating bajamba is an activity that has many meanings and is closely related to the role of women. For this reason, this research was conducted to find out how the role of women and the meaning implied in the tradition of eating bajamba in the rumah gadang. The ethnographic research method was used to obtain literature and field data with a qualitative research approach and descriptive analysis. From the results of the study, it was found that the role of women greatly influenced the process and layout of the area when eating bajamba at the rumah gadang. Research findings can be used as a guide and preserve the implementation of Bajamba eating activities so that they are not eroded by time. Minangkabau adalah kelompok suku-suku di Sumatera Barat yang berpaham matrilineal. Tradisi makan bajamba merupakan kegiatan yang memiliki banyak makna dan sangat berkaitan dengan peran perempuan, karenanya penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana peran perempuan dan makna yang tersirat dalam tradisi makan bajamba di rumah gadang. Metode penelitian etnografi digunakan untuk memperoleh data literatur dan lapangan dengan pendekatan penelitian kualitatif serta analisis deskriptif. Dari hasil penelitian ditemukan bahwa peran perempuan sangat mempengaruhi proses dan tata letak area pada saat makan bajamba di rumah gadang. Temuan penelitian dapat dijadikan panduan serta melestarikan pelaksanakan kegiatan makan bajamba agar tidak tergerus oleh zaman.
