Abstract

This article intends to describe the function of new and renewable energy in assisting the halal sector in Indonesia by using descriptive and comparative analytical studies on initiatives carried out by Germany about new and renewable energy. Indonesia has a very high potential to develop into a global powerhouse for halal food because its population is predominately Muslim. To accomplish this goal, the halal industry needs cooperation from various areas, one of which is innovative and renewable energy. However, Indonesia's inconsistent rules, particularly those governing investment, impede the development of new renewable energy sources. Investors must grow the initial business of renewable energy because it has high costs but can reduce the consumption of electricity or fossil fuels. Following that, this new renewable energy will be applied to various other industries, including halal food and beverages, pharmaceuticals and cosmetics, fashion, and tourism. The geographic position of Indonesia is another aspect that encourages the development of new renewable energy sources.

Abstract

At the end of the 20th century, the world community was faced with a series of global issues including poverty, health and the environment. The main and dominant issue is environmental problems. The environment is one of the most important things because it provides all the needs of human life as well as the learning environment. Even though students realize the importance of a clean learning environment, the opposite condition occurs in the school environment. In a factual context, students' attitudes towards the environment have not been fully formed. Therefore it is necessary to understand the importance of environmental cleanliness for students through ecoliteracy activities. This study aims to determine the effect of the Project Based Learning model in social studies learning on increasing the ecoliteracy of students in junior high schools. This research was conducted at Asy-syarifiyah Middle School. The research subjects consisted of two classes, namely class VII A as the control class and class VII B as the experimental class. The results of the study show that there is an increase in ecoliteracy from the cognitive, affective and psychomotor aspects. This is evidenced by the value of Sig. (2-tailed) is 0.000 <0.05 then H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is an average difference between the learning outcomes of the Pre-test and Post-test, which means that the Project Based Learning learning model increases Ecoliteracy.

Abstract

We can know the learning model from various sources as material for teaching and learning activities, in fact, the learning model exists to help teachers in the teaching and learning process so that it can be conveyed to students better and not saturated when the teaching and learning process takes place. Picture and picture type cooperative learning model as one of the learning models that can be used in the process of teaching and learning activities, where this model uses pictures as teaching media, but in fact, social studies educators, especially at SMP Negeri 2 Leles, rarely use other learner models and only use conventional models as learning models in the process of teaching and learning activities so that students tend to get bored, making many students' learning outcomes still under KKM. To determine the effect of learning using this picture and picture type cooperative learning model, researchers use a quantitative approach with a type of quasi-experimental research. The subjects of the study were class VIII SMP Negeri 2 Lelesa with class VIIIA as the experimental class and class VIIIB as the control class. The results showed differences in student learning outcomes before and after using the picture and picture type cooperative learning model in the teaching and learning process, this can be seen from the post-test scores that exceed the pre-test scores, this shows that students better understand social studies learning material when using learning models in the teaching and learning process, meaning that the picture and picture type cooperative learning model has a good influence on social studies learning outcomes where students experience improved learning outcomes.

Abstract

Education fundamentally revolves around behavior, and a nation anticipates its citizens to exhibit behavior that aligns with the nation's esteemed values. This study seeks to examine six attributes of Indonesians in the 21st century and evaluate Ki Hajar Dewantara's humanistic philosophy as a potential means of cultivating a humanistic society in Indonesia as a national character-building strategy. This study employs library research methods. The employed data analysis approaches include reduction, presentation, and conclusion. The research findings indicate that the six attributes of Indonesians, as identified by Mochtar Lubis, namely hypocrisy, aversion to accountability, feudalistic conduct, superstition, artistic inclination, and fragility, continue to be observable in contemporary times. Ki Hajar Dewantara's humanist philosophy, implemented at the Taman Siswa school, offers a philosophical framework that can address Mochtar Lubis' six characteristics of Indonesian in the 21st century. This can be achieved through the principles of tetep, antep, mantep; ngandel, kandel, bandel; ngerti, ngroso, nglakoni; Ing Madya Mangun Karsa; as well as Ki Hajar Dewantara's views on education as a means of emancipating individuals both physically and mentally.
