Abstract

Students majoring in accounting need to be equipped with the knowledge and skills to operate digital accounting applications. The implementation of this service activity is located at SMK Negeri 2 Tegal with the aim of increasing knowledge about digital-based accounting and increasing skills in operating digital-based accounting applications for students at SMK Negeri 2 Tegal. The method of implementing this community service activity is the lecture method, guidance, and ends with a question and answer discussion. The material for community service activities includes the introduction of digital-based accounting applications, the practice of operating applications by working on case exercises, and closing with the final results of the activity. The results of this community service activity are increasing students' knowledge and skills in operating digital-based accounting applications, so that they can be used as capital knowledge for students when they graduate.

Abstract

This creative writing mentoring program aims to improve the skills of writing stories with the theme of defending the country through the Storial.co application so that children can better internalize the values ​​of defending the country based on their daily experiences. In addition, this program also seeks to improve literacy skills from an early age, considering literacy skills are not only at the reading level, but also at the writing level. In addition, writing is also useful for developing creativity in children. This community service program collaborates with the Community Reading Park (TBM) RW 2 Pradah Kali Kendal Surabaya as a partner. The implementation method uses the Storial.co application as a medium for writing creative children's stories with the theme of defending the country. The result of this service program is that the children at TBM RW 2 Pradah Kali Kendal are able to produce creative stories with the theme of defending the country in everyday life, such as love for the environment, love for Indonesian culture, and instilling honesty as the initial capital of an anti-corruption attitude. The output of this program is an e-story product published on the Storial.co page. Publication of works on Storial.co allows their works to be read by the wider community so that they participate in socializing the values ​​of defending the country to children their age from an early age.

Abstract

Following the Covid-19 outbreak, the number of fisheries processing organisations in Southeast Maluku Regency declined significantly. The Sibit group in Loon Village is one of the groups that is still operating and is striving to expand its operation through business diversification. The goal of this service activity is to assist the Sibit group with expanding their business by acquiring product label legality, product quality testing, yesterday product design, and general management competence enhancement. Counseling, training, and direct help to partners in fisheries processing business groups are employed to attain this specific purpose. The business group supported and responded positively to this community service initiative. There is a fundamental concept of management and business management, as well as the growth of expansion through the diversity of processed products generated.

Abstract

The Covid-19 pandemic has an impact on the economic sector which causes people to suffer losses and even lose their livelihoods. One of the sectors affected is Micro and Small medium enterprises (MSMEs) in Bendungan Hilir. As is known that some communities of RW 04 Bendungan Hilir are MSMEs actors. The main problem of MSME actors during the pandemic is the lack of financial literacy knowledge, so the funds entering and exiting are not managed properly so that MSME actors do not have emergency funds or reserve funds. This community service aims to provide socialization and training on financial management for MSME actors. The methods used are direct surveys, questionnaires, socialization, and training. Based on the activity results, most MSME actors are beginning to understand the importance of financial management to anticipate the unexpected and for the betterment of their business.

Abstract

Government Regulation Number 112 of 2015 concerning the Drinking Water Supply System (SPAM), states that the drinking water supply system aims to provide services to fulfill people's rights to water which can be implemented by BUMN, BUMD, or other business entities. Perumda Air Drinking Tirta Khatulistiwa is a water provider located in Pontianak City, has a Parit Mayor Water Treatment Plant (IPA) to serve the people of East Pontianak using raw water from the Kapuas River. The type of residue that will be produced from IPA using river water will produce sludge as a residue from processing. Sludge residue will have an impact on the environment if disposed of directly, so a design is needed to design a sludge treatment unit. Treatment planning can use SNI 7510 of 2011 concerning procedures for planning sludge treatment in drinking water treatment plants with sludge drying tanks. Planning uses secondary data such as debit, alum dose, and raw water turbidity in 2020. The four tanks are designed with a required area of 345,902 m2, the available land area of 684.68 m2 is still sufficient for the construction of a sludge treatment plant. Therefore, a sludge treatment plan is carried out to treat residual sludge.

Abstract

The increase in Covid-19 cases in Indonesia causes an increase in anxiety in pregnant women facing childbirth. In addition, several activities to educate pregnant women were postponed to reduce interactions to help reduce the spread of COVID-9 to pregnant women. Therefore, it is necessary to provide alternative health education for pregnant women to provide accurate and correct information. The provision of health education was carried out through a WhatsApp group by providing material in preparation for childbirth and preventing the transmission of covid-19. This activity involves ten pregnant women members of a pregnancy class, assisted by the Sumur Panggang Health Center. Health education was given through the interactive lecture method. All active participants in the activity were shown from the questions asked during the activity. This activity was following the target of the activity, namely pregnant women. This activity is beneficial in understanding pregnant women to prepare for childbirth, both from screening before the estimated birth, selecting the proper health facilities with the condition of pregnant women, and preventing transmission to babies and mothers.

Abstract

Quail waste from Omah Puyuh Kediri is usually disposed without being processed, it can be smells odor and environmental pollution. Lecturers and students of the Animal Husbandry Study Program UNP Kediri through Community Service activities aimed providing insight and skills to students and the community in Gampeng Village, Gampengrejo, Kediri Regency by processing quail manure into compost is the right solution. During this pandemic, the availability of chemical fertilizers is increasingly rare and expensive. The composting of quail was made through short training using simple and easy materials. The targets in this activity are students, breeders, and farmers to add insight and skills to process quail waste into compost so that it can be used by farmers. This activity was attended by 30 participants from students, breeders, and farmers. This activity is divided into two stages, namely training and hands-on practice. The training was provided through the delivery of material on the meaning, method of making, and the benefits of compost. Then continued the practice of making compost. The results showed the enthusiasm of the participants in participating in the training, and the participants were able to practice making compost well. The results of the questionnaire on the satisfaction level of participants showed that the community service activities organized by lecturers and students of the Animal Husbandry Study Program UNP Kediri were very satisfying.

Abstract

The economic sector is faced with many problems due to Covid-19. One of that is declining in economic activity which has a direct impact on the household economy, thus leading to efforts to create new economic activities in society. Dongkel is a depletion activity that aside the ecosystem to obtain economic benefits. This must be reduced through the conversion of activities in the community through an economic value approach and business management. This community service program seeks to provide public awareness of dongkel cultural activities which tend to be passive in terms of social and environmental economic values. The first step in implementing this program is giving education about the dangers of depletion for socio-economic life and the environment. Second, by encouraging the community in the RW 004 area of Madyapuro District to initiate the conversion of dongkel activities into cultivating plants with high economic value, namely bonsai. Third, by holding bonsai training as an activity to support household economic activities in the community. Fourth, by providing digital marketing training to sell the bonsai plant products. Hopefully, the result of this program is the establishment of public awareness in the cultivation of bonsai plants as a momentum to increase nature conservation and also the community's economy in era pandemic.

Abstract

Early Childhood is divided into 4 (four) groups, namely fetuses in the womb until birth, newborns up to 28 days of age, ages 1 to 24 months, and ages 2 to 6 years. The development of the human brain begins in the womb, and each period has its development. In supporting children's brain development, it is necessary to have quality nutrition and stimulation from the environment. Development naturally through family or society, while optimal development is through maximum stimulation from Early Childhood Education (PAUD). PAUD aims to build children's readiness to enter further education (school). Child-friendly PAUD will significantly help achieve the intended goal. One of the policies to become a child-friendly school is creating a healthy, beautiful, and comfortable school environment. Ananda Sayang SPS (Similar PAUD Unit) is one of the non-formal PAUDs located in Bintaran hamlet. Currently, PAUD uses the former SD Negeri Bintaran 1 building from the previous one using the house of one of the residents. The purpose of this PAUD is to help the community around the Bintaran area fulfill the stimulation of child development. The entry fee for this PAUD is quite affordable, but this impacts the physical condition, which in some parts looks damaged due to the lack of budget for renovating and adding that the school building is an old building. One way to make SPS Ananda Sayang a child-friendly school is by making a mural that matches the character of early childhood in the school environment. In the process of making murals, as an effort to improve children's brain development, students participate in the form of games (sensory play). It is hoped that the mural can make SPS Ananda Sayang more comfortable to use as a means of learning and playing for students.

Abstract

Tri Karya High School provides theoretical entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship learning. The impact of the theoretical learning of Tri Karya SMA students is that they are not confident and have low ability to explore business potential in themselves. This is because entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship subjects are not equipped with the effective bird-in-hand concept. The IBM Goes to School activity provides entrepreneurship training with the effective bird in hand concept. The training methods are in the form of presentation, question and answer sessions, group discussions, practice, and reflection. The result of the IBM Goes to School activity by using the effective bird in hand concept can maximize the quality of entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship learning for Tri Karya High School students. Tri Karya High School students become confident, able to arrange bird in hand from national/international entrepreneurs as well as individual bird in hand. The IBM Goes to School activity also provides entrepreneurship or entrepreneurship learning innovations in the form of practical methods and interactive discussions.
