Abstract

Abstract: This type of qualitative research uses a case study approach, data collection using participatory observation techniques, in-depth interviews and documentation studies. This focus is based on the assumption that contextual learning that integrates local cultural values can significantly improve the understanding, internalization, and practice of Pancasila values. The data validity techniques used are credibility, transferability, dependability, and confirmability tests. The results of the study indicate that: 1) The local wisdom of the Kajang Tribe is a comprehensive, dynamic, and relevant value system for modern education, especially in the context of Pancasila Education. The life philosophies of Tallasa Kamase-mase (simple living) and Pasang Ri Kajang (living in harmony with nature) directly reflect and strengthen the values contained in Pancasila, such as mutual cooperation, social justice, and harmony. 2) The integration of these values into the school curriculum, especially through contextual and project-based learning approaches, has proven effective in transforming Pancasila learning from mere memorization into a meaningful, engaging, and transformative experience. The positive impact is not only seen in the increase in students' cognitive interest and understanding, but also in changes in their positive attitudes and behaviors, such as growing concern for the environment, empathy, and pride in cultural identity. 3) Learning based on the local wisdom of the Kajang Tribe has succeeded in shaping students' holistic character, training 21st-century skills, and creating agents of change who actively preserve their culture and environment. This approach shows that the values of Pancasila are deeply rooted in the nation's culture, making it a sustainable guide for life. Keywords: local wisdom, learning resources, pancasila education, relevance of local wisdom Abstrak: Jenis penelitian kualitatif dengan pendekatan studi kasus (case study), pengumpulan data memggunakan teknik observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dan studi dokumentasi. Fokus ini didasarkan pada asumsi bahwa pembelajaran kontekstual yang mengintegrasikan nilai-nilai budaya lokal dapat secara signifikan meningkatkan pemahaman, internalisasi, dan pengamalan nilai-nilai Pancasila. Teknik keabsahan data yang digunakan yaitu uji kredibilitas, transferability, dependability, dan confirmability. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) Kearifan lokal Suku Kajang adalah sistem nilai yang komprehensif, dinamis, dan relevan untuk pendidikan modern, khususnya dalam konteks Pendidikan Pancasila. Filosofi hidup Tallasa Kamase-mase (hidup sederhana) dan Pasang Ri Kajang (hidup selaras dengan alam) secara langsung merefleksikan dan memperkuat nilai-nilai yang terkandung dalam Pancasila, seperti gotong royong, keadilan sosial, dan keselarasan. 2) Integrasi nilai-nilai ini ke dalam kurikulum sekolah, terutama melalui pendekatan pembelajaran kontekstual dan berbasis proyek, terbukti efektif mengubah pembelajaran Pancasila dari sekadar hafalan menjadi pengalaman yang bermakna, menarik, dan transformatif. Dampak positifnya tidak hanya terlihat dari peningkatan minat dan pemahaman kognitif siswa, tetapi juga pada perubahan sikap dan perilaku positif mereka, seperti tumbuhnya kepedulian terhadap lingkungan, empati, dan rasa bangga terhadap identitas budaya. 3) Pembelajaran berbasis kearifan lokal Suku Kajang berhasil membentuk karakter holistik siswa, melatih keterampilan abad ke-21, dan menciptakan agen perubahan yang secara aktif melestarikan budaya dan lingkungan mereka. Pendekatan ini menunjukkan bahwa nilai-nilai Pancasila sudah berakar kuat dalam budaya bangsa, menjadikannya panduan hidup yang berkelanjutan. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyse in depth the learning leadership strategies of school principals in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum at SMP Negeri 1 Bajo and SMPN 1 Tabang Satu Atap in Luwu Regency. The focus of the study is on how school principals formulate a learning vision, manage instructional programmes, build a collaborative culture, and face the challenges of changing learning and assessment paradigms. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study design in two educational units, namely SMP Negeri 1 Bajo and SMP Negeri 1 Tabang Satu Atap. Data were collected through in-depth interviews with the principal, vice principal for curriculum, and teachers, and reinforced with observation and documentation. Data analysis was conducted using Miles and Huberman's interactive model, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, accompanied by triangulation of sources to ensure the validity of the findings: (1) collaborative and participatory formulation of a learning vision based on the Merdeka Curriculum; (2) management of instructional programmes through structured academic supervision, authentic assessment training, strengthening of differentiated learning, and ongoing mentoring; (3) developing learning communities as spaces for professional reflection and sharing good practices; and (4) data-based evaluation and monitoring of assessment results and teachers' reflective journals. The main challenges faced include the paradigm shift from conventional assessment to authentic assessment, teachers' time constraints and administrative burdens, and differences in the capacity and readiness of resources in each school. The results of the study indicate that an effective leadership model in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum is a synthesis of a structural instructional leadership approach that emphasises systems, vision, and instructional management, with an orientation towards improving the quality of teaching that has a direct impact on classroom Keywords: learning leadership, Independent Curriculum, academic supervision, authentic assessment, learning community Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis secara mendalam strategi kepemimpinan pembelajaran kepala sekolah dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka di SMP Negeri 1 Bajo dan SMPN 1 Tabang Satu Atap Kabupaten Luwu. Fokus penelitian bagaimana kepala sekolah merumuskan visi pembelajaran, mengelola program instruksional, membangun budaya kolaboratif, serta menghadapi tantangan perubahan paradigma pembelajaran dan asesmen. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus pada dua satuan pendidikan, yaitu SMP Negeri 1 Bajo dan SMP Negeri 1 Tabang Satu Atap. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam dengan kepala sekolah, wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, dan guru, serta diperkuat dengan observasi dan dokumentasi. Analisis data dilakukan menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman yang meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, disertai triangulasi sumber untuk menjamin keabsahan temuan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi kepemimpinan pembelajaran dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka mencakup empat aspek utama, yaitu: (1) perumusan visi pembelajaran berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka secara kolaboratif dan partisipatif; (2) pengelolaan program instruksional melalui supervisi akademik terstruktur, pelatihan asesmen autentik, penguatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi, serta pendampingan berkelanjutan; (3) pengembangan komunitas belajar sebagai ruang refleksi profesional dan berbagi praktik baik; serta (4) evaluasi dan monitoring berbasis data hasil asesmen dan jurnal reflektif guru. Tantangan utama yang dihadapi meliputi perubahan paradigma penilaian konvensional menuju asesmen autentik, keterbatasan waktu dan beban administratif guru, serta perbedaan kapasitas dan kesiapan sumber daya di masing-masing sekolah. Hasil penelitian mengindikasikan bahwa model kepemimpinan yang efektif dalam implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka merupakan sintesis antara pendekatan struktural instructional leadership yang menekankan sistem, visi, dan pengelolaan instruksional, dengan orientasi peningkatan kualitas pengajaran yang berdampak langsung pada praktik pembelajaran di kelas. Abstract

Abstract: Teachers' work achievements are a reflection of the responsibility and quality of the implementation of an educator's duties in supporting the success of education. The low performance of teachers at the Palangka Raya City State High School is still a concern, characterized by a lack of involvement in professional activities, a low level of discipline, and work motivation which is mostly external. Teacher performance is not only influenced by one factor, but the result of the interaction of various elements such as competence, motivation, and work discipline. This study was conducted to find out how teacher competence and work motivation affect work performance, both directly and indirectly through work discipline as a mediating variable. This study uses a quantitative approach with a survey method. The population in this study is all public high school teachers in Palangka Raya City, and the sampling technique is carried out proportionally. Data collection was carried out using a Likert scale questionnaire, and data analysis was carried out using path analysis with the help of SPSS version 25. The results of the study show that teacher competence and work motivation have a direct and significant effect on work discipline, as well as directly affect teachers' work performance. Work discipline has been shown to be a mediating variable that strengthens the relationship between competence and motivation to work performance. From the results of this study, it is suggested: (1) teachers need to increase commitment and responsibility through continuous professional development, (2) school principals are expected to create a work climate that supports motivation and discipline, and (3) educational institutions need to design competency strengthening programs that are integrated with strengthening work culture Keywords: Teacher Competence; Work Motivation; Work Discipline; Teacher Work Performance Abstrak: Prestasi kerja guru merupakan pencerminan dari tanggung jawab dan kualitas pelaksanaan tugas seorang pendidik dalam mendukung keberhasilan pendidikan. Rendahnya prestasi kerja guru di SMA Negeri Kota Palangka Raya masih menjadi perhatian, ditandai dengan minimnya keterlibatan dalam kegiatan profesional, rendahnya tingkat kedisiplinan, serta motivasi kerja yang sebagian besar bersifat eksternal. Kinerja guru tidak hanya dipengaruhi oleh satu faktor, melainkan hasil interaksi berbagai elemen seperti kompetensi, motivasi, dan disiplin kerja. Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk mengetahui bagaimana kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja memengaruhi prestasi kerja, baik secara langsung maupun tidak langsung melalui disiplin kerja sebagai variabel mediasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan metode survei. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh guru SMA Negeri di Kota Palangka Raya sejumlah 527, dan teknik pengambilan sampel dilakukan secara proporsional sejumlah 227 guru. Pengumpulan data dilakukan menggunakan angket berskala Likert, dan analisis data menggunakan path analysis dengan bantuan SPSS versi 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kompetensi guru dan motivasi kerja berpengaruh langsung dan signifikan terhadap disiplin kerja, serta secara langsung memengaruhi prestasi kerja guru. Disiplin kerja terbukti menjadi variabel mediasi yang memperkuat hubungan antara kompetensi dan motivasi terhadap prestasi kerja. Dari hasil penelitian ini disarankan: (1) guru perlu meningkatkan komitmen dan tanggung jawab melalui pengembangan profesional berkelanjutan, (2) kepala sekolah diharapkan menciptakan iklim kerja yang mendukung motivasi dan disiplin, serta (3) lembaga pendidikan perlu merancang program penguatan kompetensi yang terintegrasi dengan penguatan budaya kerja. Abstract

Literacy culture is a crucial factor in improving the quality of primary education. The school principal plays a strategic role in managing and developing literacy programs to ensure their effectiveness and sustainability. This study aims to analyze the principal's leadership management in enhancing literacy culture in public elementary schools. The approach used is qualitative with a phenomenological method to explore the experiences of school principals in fostering literacy culture. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and document analysis. The data analysis technique employed the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that SD Negeri 019 focuses on optimizing the library. The principal implements transformational and participatory leadership in building a literacy culture. The main challenges include low student reading interest and a lack of parental support. To address these issues, the principal enhances teacher involvement, collaborates with literacy communities, and utilizes digital technology in literacy programs. This study confirms that adaptive and innovative school leadership can significantly improve literacy culture.

Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the influence of organizational culture and faculty management on motivation and their role in enhancing the competitiveness of higher education institutions. The research is grounded in the growing demands placed on universities to improve their internal organizational quality in order to compete at national and global levels. A quantitative approach was employed using Structural Equation Modeling with Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) through SmartPLS. The data were collected from permanent lecturers using a Likert-scale questionnaire. The analysis consisted of two stages, namely the assessment of the outer model and the inner model, although the available document presents only the results of the outer model. The findings indicate that all constructs, Organizational Culture, Faculty Management, Motivation, and Institutional Competitiveness, meet the criteria for validity and reliability. The indicators show strong outer loading values, AVE scores above the required threshold, and high Cronbach’s Alpha and Composite Reliability values. These results demonstrate that the measurement instruments used in the study are robust and highly reliable. Substantively, the findings reveal that organizational culture and faculty management are perceived positively by respondents, and motivation emerges as a significant variable reflecting the institution’s readiness to compete. The study concludes that strengthening organizational culture, improving faculty management, and fostering lecturer motivation are strategic factors in enhancing institutional competitiveness. It is recommended that higher education institutions reinforce the internalization of organizational values, develop systematic faculty management programs, and create a supportive work environment that promotes motivation and academic performance. Keywords: organizational culture; faculty management; motivation; competitiveness; SEM-PLS Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis pengaruh budaya organisasi dan manajemen dosen terhadap motivasi serta perannya dalam meningkatkan daya saing institusi pendidikan tinggi. Latar belakang penelitian berangkat dari meningkatnya tuntutan kualitas perguruan tinggi yang harus mampu bersaing di tingkat nasional maupun global melalui penguatan aspek internal organisasi. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kuantitatif dengan analisis Structural Equation Modeling berbasis Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) melalui SmartPLS. Data diperoleh dari kuesioner berskala Likert yang disebarkan kepada dosen tetap. Analisis dilakukan melalui dua tahap, yaitu pengujian outer model dan inner model, meskipun dokumen hasil penelitian hanya menampilkan outer model. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa seluruh konstruk, meliputi Budaya Organisasi, Manajemen Dosen, Motivasi, dan Daya Saing Institusi, memenuhi kriteria validitas dan reliabilitas dengan nilai outer loading yang kuat, AVE di atas batas minimum, serta Cronbach’s Alpha dan Composite Reliability yang tinggi. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa instrumen yang digunakan memiliki kualitas pengukuran yang sangat baik. Secara substantif, hasil menunjukkan bahwa budaya organisasi dan manajemen dosen dipersepsikan kuat oleh responden, sementara motivasi dosen muncul sebagai variabel yang sangat signifikan dalam menggambarkan kesiapan institusi untuk bersaing. Simpulan penelitian menyatakan bahwa penguatan budaya organisasi, efektivitas manajemen dosen, dan pengembangan motivasi merupakan faktor strategis bagi peningkatan daya saing institusi. Penelitian menyarankan agar perguruan tinggi meningkatkan internalisasi nilai organisasi, memperkuat pengembangan dosen secara sistematis, serta menciptakan lingkungan kerja yang mampu mendorong motivasi dan kinerja akademik. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the effect of several leadership styles that are collaborated (collaborative leadership style) on teacher performance, the effect of work motivation (extrinsic and intrinsic) on teacher performance, and the simultaneous effect of several leadership styles that are collaborated (collaborative leadership style) and work motivation (extrinsic and intrinsic) on teacher performance in private senior high schools in Manado City. This research was conducted at 13 private senior high schools in Manado City. The approach used in this study is quantitative, with descriptive survey methods and multiple linear regression analysis. Data were collected using research questionnaires and document analysis. The sample consisted of 64 teachers, taken by proportional random sampling technique from a total population of 211 teachers in private senior high schools in Manado City. The findings of the study show that: (1) there is a positive effect of several leadership styles that are collaborated (situational leadership style) on the performance of private senior high school teachers in Manado City, (2) there is a positive effect of work motivation (extrinsic and intrinsic) on the performance of private senior high school teachers in Manado City, and (3) there is a simultaneous positive effect of several leadership styles that are collaborated (situational leadership style) and work motivation (extrinsic and intrinsic) on the performance of private senior high school teachers in Manado City. The findings of this study recommend that: (1) to improve the performance of private senior high school teachers in Manado City, principals should be able to adapt and make effective several leadership styles that are collaborated (situational leadership style) according to the situation and condition, needs, maturity, and ability of teachers; (2) principals should be able to improve teachers’ work motivation (extrinsic motivation); (3) teachers should increase their intrinsic motivation; and (4) further research should be conducted to explore other variables besides those analyzed in this study. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada 13 SMA Swasta di Kota Manado. Pendekatan yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif dengan metode survey deskriptif dan analisis regresi linier berganda. Data dikumpulkan dengan menggunakan kuesioner penelitian, dan analisis dokumen. Temuan penelitian menunjukkan bahwa: 1) terdapat pengaruh positif beberapa gaya kepemimpinan yang dikolaborasikan (gaya kepemimpinan situasional) terhadap kinerja guru SMA Swasta di Kota Manado, 2) terdapat pengaruh positif motivasi kerja (ekstrinsik dan intrinsik) terhadap kinerja guru SMA Swasta di Kota Manado, dan 3) terdapat pengaruh positif secara simultan beberapa gaya kepemimpinan yang dikolaborasikan (gaya kepemimpinan situasional) dan motivasi kerja (ekstrinsik dan intrinsik) terhadap kinerja guru SMA Swasta di Kota Manado. Temuan penelitian ini merekomendasikan bahwa:1) untuk meningkatkan kinerja guru SMA swasta di kota manado, kepala sekolah harus mampu mengadaptasikan dan mengefektifkan beberapa gaya kepemimpinan yang dikolaborasikan (gaya kepemimpinan situasional) terhadap situasi dan kondisi, kebutuhan, kematangan, dan kemampuan guru, 2) kepala sekolah harus mampu meningkatkan motivasi kerja guru (motivasi ekstrinsik), (3) guru harus meningkatkan motivasi intrinsiknya, dan (4) penelitian lanjutan hendaknya dilakukan untuk mengeksplorasi variabel lain selain variabel yang telah dianalisis dalam penelitian ini. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the strategies implemented by madrasahs to increase new student enrollment through the application of the educational marketing mix (7P marketing mix strategy), which includes product, price, place, promotion, people, process, and physical evidence. The research is motivated by fluctuations in student enrollment at Madrasah Aliyah Tassbeh Baitul Qur’an, Pinrang Regency, and Madrasah Aliyah Ittihadul Usrati wal Jamaah DDI Lerang-Lerang, Pinrang Regency. The study employs a qualitative descriptive approach with a multisite design. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation, and analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model combined with the SWOT approach to identify the strengths, weaknesses, opportunities, and threats in the educational marketing strategies of both institutions.The results reveal that the madrasahs’ strategies to attract new students include developing outstanding academic programs (product), setting competitive and transparent tuition fees (price), selecting strategic and accessible locations (place), conducting active promotions through social media and community engagement (promotion), enhancing teacher and staff competencies (people), providing efficient and responsive administrative services (process), and strengthening modern and supportive learning facilities (physical evidence). Supporting factors include strong leadership, positive institutional reputation, and community trust, while obstacles involve limited facilities and suboptimal promotional efforts. The integrated implementation of the educational marketing mix has proven effective in strengthening institutional image, increasing competitiveness, and attracting greater public interest in Islamic-based education. Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis strategi madrasah dalam meningkatkan jumlah siswa baru melalui penerapan konsep bauran pemasaran dalam pendidikan (marketing mix strategy) yang meliputi tujuh elemen utama, yaitu product, price, place, promotion, people, process, dan physical evidence. Fenomena fluktuasi jumlah peserta didik di Madrasah Aliyah Tassbeh Baitul Qur’an Kabupaten Pinrang dan Madrasah Aliyah Ittihadul Usrati wal Jamaah DDI Lerang-Lerang Kabupaten Pinrang menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Pendekatan yang digunakan ialah kualitatif deskriptif dengan desain studi multisitus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis dengan model Miles dan Huberman serta pendekatan SWOT untuk mengidentifikasi kekuatan, kelemahan, peluang, dan ancaman strategi pemasaran pendidikan di kedua madrasah.Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi madrasah dalam menarik peserta didik baru mencakup penyusunan program pendidikan unggulan (product), penetapan biaya yang kompetitif dan transparan (price), pemilihan lokasi strategis dan mudah diakses (place), promosi aktif melalui media sosial dan kegiatan masyarakat (promotion), peningkatan kompetensi guru dan tenaga kependidikan (people), pelayanan administratif yang efisien dan ramah (process), serta penguatan fasilitas pembelajaran modern dan representatif (physical evidence). Faktor pendukung mencakup dukungan pimpinan, reputasi madrasah, dan kepercayaan masyarakat, sedangkan faktor penghambat meliputi keterbatasan fasilitas dan promosi yang belum optimal. Penerapan bauran pemasaran pendidikan secara terintegrasi terbukti mampu memperkuat citra lembaga, meningkatkan daya saing, dan menarik minat masyarakat terhadap pendidikan berbasis Islam. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze and formulate a POAC-based management model for pesantren students’ self-development oriented toward character excellence at Pesantren Terpadu Almuslim, Bireuen Regency. The study responds to the need for pesantren to manage students’ self-development not merely as routine extracurricular activities, but as an integrated character-building system supported by planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling. A qualitative approach with a case study design was employed. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, participatory observation, and documentation studies involving pesantren leaders, teachers, dormitory supervisors, student organization administrators, and parents. Data were analyzed through reduction, display, and conclusion drawing, while validity was ensured through source and technique triangulation. The findings show that planning was based on the pesantren’s vision, mission, Islamic values, and student development needs, although measurable character indicators were not fully documented. Organizing involved leaders, teachers, supervisors, student administrators, and parents, but supervisor placement still required competency-based mapping. Actuating was implemented through habituation, role modeling, and active participation in worship, dormitory life, extracurricular activities, social programs, and leadership training. Controlling was conducted through tiered monitoring, guidance, evaluation, rewards, and sanctions, although character assessment instruments still needed standardization. The study concludes that the POAC-based model is integrative, participatory, and contextual in shaping religiosity, discipline, independence, responsibility, leadership, and social awareness. Pesantren are advised to strengthen program documentation, supervisor competency mapping, reflective activities, and standardized character evaluation instruments. Future researchers may test the model quantitatively in other pesantren contexts to examine its effectiveness, scalability, and empirical contribution to broader character excellence sustainably. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi kebutuhan pesantren untuk mengelola pengembangan diri santri bukan sekadar sebagai kegiatan rutin atau ekstrakurikuler, melainkan sebagai sistem pembinaan karakter yang terintegrasi melalui planning, organizing, actuating, dan controlling. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan desain studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi partisipatif, dan studi dokumentasi yang melibatkan pimpinan pesantren, guru, pembina asrama, pengurus organisasi santri, dan wali santri. Analisis data dilakukan melalui reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, sedangkan keabsahan data dijaga melalui triangulasi sumber dan teknik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa perencanaan berbasis pada visi, misi, nilai Islam, dan kebutuhan pembinaan santri, meskipun indikator capaian karakter belum terdokumentasi secara lengkap. Pengorganisasian melibatkan pimpinan, guru, pembina, pengurus santri, dan wali santri, namun penempatan pembina masih memerlukan pemetaan kompetensi. Pelaksanaan dilakukan melalui pembiasaan, keteladanan, dan partisipasi aktif dalam ibadah, kehidupan asrama, ekstrakurikuler, kegiatan sosial, dan pelatihan kepemimpinan. Pengawasan berjalan melalui monitoring berjenjang, pembinaan, evaluasi, penghargaan, dan sanksi, tetapi instrumen evaluasi karakter masih perlu distandardisasi. Penelitian menyimpulkan bahwa model POAC bersifat integratif, partisipatif, dan kontekstual dalam membentuk religiusitas, disiplin, kemandirian, tanggung jawab, kepemimpinan, dan kepedulian sosial. Pesantren disarankan memperkuat dokumentasi program, pemetaan kompetensi pembina, kegiatan reflektif, dan instrumen evaluasi karakter terstandar. Peneliti selanjutnya dapat menguji model ini secara kuantitatif pada pesantren lain untuk menilai efektivitas, keterukuran, keberlanjutan, dan kemungkinan replikasinya dalam pengembangan karakter santri secara lebih luas di berbagai konteks pendidikan Islam modern masa kini. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to describe curriculum management in the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum through a multi-site study at SMPN 3 and SMPN 4 Katingan Tengah. The focus of the research includes school principals' policies, teacher empowerment, and school partnerships. A qualitative approach was employed, with data collected through in-depth interviews, observations, and documentation. The findings reveal that both schools successfully implemented the Merdeka Curriculum in an adaptive and contextual manner. School principals acted as instructional leaders, both visionary and facilitative, by encouraging innovation, academic supervision, and collaborative reflection with teachers. Teachers were empowered as primary designers and implementers of learning through training, collaboration, and the development of teaching materials based on local potential. The use of technology and professional learning communities supported ongoing teacher development. Strategic partnerships with various stakeholders, including community leaders, local entrepreneurs, religious institutions, and government agencies, strengthened the curriculum implementation. These collaborations supported contextual learning, character education, and community empowerment within the school environment.The study concludes that the synergy between strong school leadership, empowered teachers, and active partnerships is the key to successful curriculum management based on the Merdeka Curriculum. These findings provide implications for educational policy development, school capacity building, and teacher professional development in regions facing geographical and socio-cultural challenges. Fokus penelitian mencakup kebijakan kepala sekolah, pemberdayaan guru, dan kemitraan sekolah. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kedua sekolah mampu mengimplementasikan Kurikulum Merdeka secara adaptif dan kontekstual. Kepala sekolah berperan sebagai pemimpin pembelajaran yang visioner dan fasilitator, mendorong inovasi, supervisi akademik, serta refleksi bersama guru. Guru diberdayakan sebagai perancang dan pelaksana utama pembelajaran melalui pelatihan, kolaborasi, serta pengembangan perangkat ajar berbasis potensi lokal. Pemanfaatan teknologi dan komunitas belajar menjadi bagian penting dalam mendukung profesionalisme guru. Kemitraan strategis dengan berbagai pihak, seperti tokoh masyarakat, UMKM, lembaga keagamaan, dan instansi pemerintah, turut memperkuat pelaksanaan kurikulum. Kemitraan ini mendukung pembelajaran kontekstual, pendidikan karakter, dan pemberdayaan komunitas sekolah. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa sinergi antara kepemimpinan kepala sekolah, pemberdayaan guru, dan penguatan kemitraan merupakan kunci keberhasilan manajemen kurikulum berbasis Kurikulum Merdeka. Temuan ini memberikan implikasi bagi pengembangan kebijakan pendidikan, penguatan kapasitas sekolah, dan pengembangan profesional guru di daerah dengan tantangan geografis dan sosial budaya. Abstract

Abstract: This study aims to analyze the dynamics and global trends of scientific publications on transformational leadership and teacher performance using a bibliometric approach. The main focus of this research is to map the development of studies, intellectual structure, networks of authors, institutions, countries, and dominant research themes over the last five years. The method employed is bibliometric analysis with data sourced from the Scopus database. The data were analyzed using VOSviewer software to visualize keyword networks, author collaboration, and institutional affiliations, and were further examined descriptively based on publication and citation patterns. The results indicate that publications on transformational leadership and teacher performance have increased significantly after 2020, with Indonesia emerging as the most productive contributing country. Keyword mapping shows that “transformational leadership” serves as the central node strongly connected with “teacher performance,” “motivation,” and “job satisfaction.” These findings suggest that the influence of transformational leadership on teacher performance is predominantly indirect and mediated by psychological and organizational factors. In conclusion, this study confirms that transformational leadership plays a strong, systemic, and sustainable role in enhancing teacher performance. It is recommended that future research integrate digital leadership and local cultural values, as well as apply more diverse methodological approaches, to further enrich the development of knowledge in the field of educational management. Keywords: Transformational leadership; Teacher performance; Educational management; Bibliometric analysis; Work motivation Abstrak: Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis dinamika dan tren global publikasi ilmiah mengenai kepemimpinan transformasional dan kinerja guru melalui pendekatan bibliometrik. Fokus utama penelitian ini adalah memetakan perkembangan penelitian, struktur intelektual, jejaring penulis, institusi, negara, serta tema-tema utama yang berkembang dalam lima tahun terakhir. Metode yang digunakan adalah analisis bibliometrik dengan sumber data berasal dari basis data Scopus. Data dianalisis menggunakan perangkat lunak VOSviewer untuk memvisualisasikan jaringan kata kunci, penulis, dan afiliasi, serta dianalisis secara deskriptif berdasarkan jumlah publikasi dan sitasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa publikasi mengenai kepemimpinan transformasional dan kinerja guru mengalami peningkatan signifikan setelah tahun 2020, dengan Indonesia sebagai negara penyumbang publikasi terbanyak. Peta kata kunci menunjukkan bahwa “transformational leadership” merupakan simpul utama yang terhubung erat dengan “teacher performance”, “motivation”, dan “job satisfaction”. Temuan ini mengindikasikan bahwa pengaruh kepemimpinan transformasional terhadap kinerja guru bersifat tidak langsung dan dimediasi oleh faktor psikologis serta organisasi. Simpulan penelitian menegaskan bahwa kepemimpinan transformasional memiliki peran yang kuat, sistemik, dan berkelanjutan dalam meningkatkan kinerja guru.
