Abstract

Population growth in Indonesia always increases every year. This has resulted in an increase in life support needs such as buildings, transportation, and others. If it is not balanced with the concept of sustainable development, it will cause problems for the environment. Indicators of environmental problems caused by population growth in each region are always different. Malang City is one of the cities experiencing population growth. One indicator of environmental problems in the city of Malang is an increase in the number of sufferers of acute respiratory infections (ARI) every year. Pandanwangi Village is one of the villages with the highest ARI disease spread apart from Kedungkandang and Mulyorejo. The solution to overcome these environmental problems is by carrying out “Kampung Oksigen” Oxygen Village Planning in Pandanwangi Village. The concept of a “Kampung Oksigen” that is realized is by multiplying plants such as Sansevieria and grapevines that have the ability to produce oxygen and absorb carbon dioxide produced by vehicles. The result of this service is in the form of a “Kampung Oksigen” gate equipped with a set of supporting plants to be a pilot for community efforts to participate in creating a healthy and beautiful environment.

Abstract

The macroeconomic growth in East Nusa Tenggara (NTT) has shown changes for the better in var-ious fields. This improving economic growth has also had a positive impact on the retail business sector. This is indicated by the increasing interest of the people of Kupang city towards wooden furniture. However, the increasing public interest in furniture is a challenge for furniture entrepreneurs to be able to meet these needs. UD. Gusti Karya is a micro business unit that produces furniture in the city of Kupang. UD. Gusti Karya has started its activities since 1997, but until now the turnover generated has continued to decline due to the limited functionality of the furniture machines used. This activity is part of the PPPUD Program in partnership with UD. Gusti Karya. This activity aims to provide solutions to problems that are being faced by UD. Gusti Karya, which is a micro business unit that produces furniture in the city of Kupang. The solution given is related to productivity problems, by providing assistance and the application of more modern multi-functional furniture machines. Because according to partners, so far, they still use manual equipment more, so it is necessary to implement machines that have more modern technology than those currently available. The output that was achieved from the implementation of this program was an increase in productivity which resulted in an increase in partner turnover by 78.9% from the previous one.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i1.4943

Abstract

The beach is an attractive place to unwind from your daily routine. The beauty of the beach must always be maintained so that comfort can still be obtained for everyone who visits it. The beach becomes a comfortable place if cleanliness is maintained. Plastic waste, if any along the coast, can be carried by the waves into the ocean. Plastic waste brought to sea can be consumed by marine biota because marine biota cannot distinguish between plastic and food waste. This community service activity intends to inspire visitors (tourists), managers and traders at Balekambang beach to care about the environment. A well-preserved environment will be a legacy that will be left on the next generation. The survey results show that visitors understand the meaning of waste and are willing to dispose of waste in its place. DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v5i2.3573

Abstract

Many people feel helped by the health center services and there are also people who are not satisfied. The Community Satisfaction Survey (SKM) was conducted to determine the quality of services provided by community health centers. For government-owned public service providers, the Minister of PANRB issued a regulation on SKM Number 14 of 2017. Based on information from the Head of the Primary Health Care Section of the Central Lombok Regency Health Office in 2019 only 6 puskesmas out of 28 puskesmas conducted a survey but the documents sent did not comply with the guidelines. This is because the puskesmas do not understand the benefits of SKM, have not received socialization, do not yet understand the techniques for conducting SKM and the calculation of survey results. The solution offered in this workshop is to provide knowledge about SKM, about the 9 elements of public service quality that determine satisfaction, providing skills in collecting and visualizing online data from survey results. The results obtained from this activity were an increase in the knowledge and skills of public health centers regarding SKM and the implementation of online data collection and visualization of the Community Satisfaction Survey went well.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v6i2.5384

The problem faced by the manager is that catfish cultivation is not optimal so that the mortality of catfish seeds reaches 50 percent, and another obstacle is the presence of an unpleasant odor. To solve this problem, the biofloc method was carried out to improve the catfish culture system. From the efforts to improve catfish culture by means of biofloc, there are benefits, among others, the percentage of seed mortality has decreased to 20 percent, the cost of feed is more efficient, does not cause odor and the development of catfish is maximized. The yields are in accordance with market demand, namely, with a weight of 1 kg as many as 8 fish at the age of 2.5 months.DOI: https://doi.org/10.26905/abdimas.v5i3.4044
