Abstract

This research is a development of learning media in the form of a website "MENARA (Mengenal Nabi dan Rasul)" to enhance elementary school students' understanding of Nabi and Rasul. The research method employed is Design and Development (DND) along with the application of the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation). The study involved teachers and 4th grade students from Babakan Hurip Elementary School in the Sumedang regency as research subjects. An interactive website titled "MENARA" was developed with content focusing on introducing Nabi and Rasul in Islam, tailored to the elementary school curriculum. The website was designed with an engaging design approach and is easy to comprehend for children. The research findings indicate that the use of the "MENARA" website significantly improves students' understanding of Nabi and Rasul. Both student and teacher responses show that the designed product can be categorized as excellent. These findings demonstrate that website development using the DND approach and the application of the ADDIE model is an effective method in enhancing students' understanding of religious material, particularly the introduction of Nabi and Rasul in Islam. The implications of this research provide support for internet technology-based learning approaches in the context of religious education in elementary schools.

Abstract

The concept of ta'zhim al-Ilmi wa Ahlihi is a fundamental thing to emphasize to students from an early age. Because with this concept students will have manners and respect, especially towards their teachers. This value is very important to counter foreign cultures which tend to have values ​​that are contradictory to Islamic values. Darul Fattah Qur'an Middle School (SMPQ-DF) is one of the schools that implements Arabic in the school environment quite well.. Having good character and manners as well as a conducive Arabic language environment is an attraction for conducting research in the South Lampung SMPQ-DF environment.This research is a type of qualitative research, data was collected by interviews, observation and documentation. The concept of ta'dzhim in the book ta'lim al-muta'allim includes ta'dzhim towards knowledge and towards scientific experts. Ta'dzhim towards knowledge is by glorifying the book and practicing and glorifying knowledge. Meanwhile, ta'dzhim towards scientific experts or teachers is to honor the teacher and respect the teacher's children, family and relatives. So the concept of the value of ta'dzhim that Al-Zarnuji means is respect for knowledge and teachers which is manifested in the daily behavior of students of knowledge. The implementation of the value of ta'dzhim in learning Arabic at SMPQ-DF Lampung Selatan is going well, this is reflected in the pre learning activities, learning process activities and post-learning activities that prioritize the value of ta'dzhim.

Abstract

This research aims to examine the application of the Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) approach in learning Islamic religious education in schools. CRT is a learning approach that emphasizes recognizing and integrating students' cultural diversity, backgrounds and experiences in the learning process. This study uses qualitative research methods by involving students from various cultural backgrounds and teachers' learning strategies in the learning process. Data was collected through classroom observations during teaching and learning activities and interviews with PAI teachers who implemented CRT. The integration of CRT in PAI learning can help create an inclusive learning environment, promote cross-cultural understanding, improve students' learning abilities and be able to manage the rights of all students in the process. The results of the research are that learning that takes into account students' cultural diversity can create an inclusive learning environment and support the development of strong religious values. This study also provides a more comprehensive view of the importance of recognizing and responding to cultural diversity in the context of religious education, which in turn can improve the quality of education in schools.

Abstract

This research analyzes Al-Muwaththa’, a monumental work by Imam Malik bin Anas, as one of the pivotal books in shaping Islamic law and the dissemination of the Maliki school of jurisprudence in the Islamic world. As a compilation of hadith compiled with a rigorous methodology, Al-Muwaththa’ not only serves as a source of law but also offers a contextual perspective by using the practices of the people of Medina (amal ahl al-Madinah) as one of the legal bases. The main problem discussed in this research is how Al-Muwaththa’ has influenced the development of Islamic law and the relevance of its methodology for Muslim communities in various regions, especially in the context of local cultural adaptation. Through a qualitative approach with a literature review, this research examines Imam Malik's methodology in selecting hadith, integrating ra'y (legal opinion) with traditional sources, and structuring the book based on legal categories. The results of the analysis show that Al-Muwaththa’ has successfully become the basis for the formation of the Maliki school of jurisprudence, which is widely spread in regions such as North Africa and Andalusia. Imam Malik's approach, which combines the chain of transmission of hadith and local practices, provides flexibility in the continuous application of Islamic law. In addition to being recognized as a valid legal reference by great scholars such as Imam Shafi'i, Al-Muwaththa’ also serves as a model for the development of other Islamic law books. The prospect is that the contextual methodology introduced by Imam Malik in Al-Muwaththa’ can continue to be studied as inspiration for adapting Islamic law to modern cultural and social contexts without leaving the essence of religious teachings.

Abstract

Teachers as the main pillar in education must always follow developments in education, including in terms of curriculum. The method in this study is systematic literature review. The role of teachers in the independent curriculum is very important in educating students to be more creative, innovative and independent in their learning process. The advantage of the independent curriculum is that teachers are free to act as facilitators, providing space for each student to realize their unique potential. In order for the world of education to develop more progressively, it is necessary to develop superior skills for all people involved in education.

Abstract

This study discusses the transformation of Islamic education in fulfilling children's rights in the digital era, with a special emphasis on the rights to education, protection, and involvement of children. This study uses a qualitative methodology based on literature and investigates research and policies on technology, education, and children's rights. The results show that digital technology brings many benefits, such as more efficient information delivery, more dynamic teacher-student interactions, and increased accessibility of learning. However, there are also major challenges, such as the digital divide, lack of technological literacy among educators and students, and threats to children's safety while in the digital environment. This study shows how important it is to incorporate technology into the curriculum, create inclusive policies, and raise digital awareness based on Islamic values ​​in Islamic education. Technology-based curriculum innovation, active participation of children in learning, and strengthening digital literacy for all stakeholders are all ways that Islamic education can change. Collaboration between Islamic educational institutions and technology providers, as well as policies that support digital inclusion and protection of children, are some of the potential futures. In this paper, conceptual and practical foundations are provided to make Islamic education more relevant and responsive in the digital era.

Abstract

The Ulama Cadre Education Program (PKU) at Darul Fattah Foundation in Lampung is a strategic effort to develop a generation of scholars who are morally upright, intellectually capable, and committed to sustainable da'wah, through the implementation of human resource management (HRM) based on Islamic values. This study employs a qualitative case study approach to explore how recruitment, selection, and development of educators are carried out in an Islamic and strategic manner. The findings show that recruitment is conducted internally through a recommendation system emphasizing the principles of amanah (trustworthiness) and kafa’ah (competence) selection is carried out through musyawarah syura (consultative deliberation) that considers spiritual aspects, and development is implemented continuously through a tarbiyah-based mentoring system covering knowledge, character, and responsibility in da'wah. A key finding of this study is the integration of modern HRM systems with Islamic principles, forming a spiritually grounded and sustainable model of HRM that can serve as a reference for Islamic educational institutions.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of the principal as a supervisor in improving the performance of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers at SMA Qur'an Darul Fattah. The focus of the study is directed at how the principal designs, implements, and follows up on academic supervision activities to support teacher professionalism. The approach used is descriptive qualitative, with data collection techniques through interviews, observations, and documentation. The study results indicate that the principal carries out his supervisory role systematically, participatively, and humanistically. In the planning stage, the principal involves teachers in preparing a supervision program based on the school's needs and Qur'anic vision. The implementation of supervision is carried out dialogically with a clinical approach, so that teachers feel appreciated and encouraged to develop. Follow-up supervision in the form of internal training, individual mentoring, and ongoing coaching has been proven to improve the competence and motivation of PAI teachers. This study confirms that supervision that is carried out continuously and oriented towards professional coaching can make a real contribution to improving the quality of PAI learning. These findings indicate that the role of the principal is very crucial in creating a work culture that supports improving teacher performance as a whole. In addition, this study recommends the importance of strengthening the capacity of school principals in carrying out effective academic supervision and the need for systemic support from all education stakeholders.

Abstract

This study investigates the implementation of Arabic language education through a multicultural approach in Indonesia and Malaysia. It aims to compare teaching strategies, curriculum content, and the socio-cultural context that influence Arabic learning in both countries. As Arabic is not only a religious language but also a cultural bridge, its teaching can foster tolerance and respect for diversity. Using a qualitative-comparative method, data were collected through interviews, observations, and document analysis from Islamic educational institutions in both countries. The findings show that both nations share the goal of promoting inclusive values through Arabic education, though their approaches differ. Indonesia is moving toward contextual and participatory teaching, while Malaysia uses a structured system combining separation and integration models. Challenges include limited teacher training, varied student backgrounds, and lack of culturally responsive materials. Despite this, Arabic education has proven effective in shaping students’ awareness of multicultural values when designed inclusively. This research provides insights for educators and policymakers to enhance Arabic curricula as a medium for building intercultural understanding and social harmony.
