Abstract

This study focuses on "Analysis of Students' Cognitive Abilities on Global Warming Materials in Stabat Preparatory High School". The purpose of the research is to find out the understanding of Biology learning in the cognitive realm in the XIC Science class of Stabat Preparatory High School. Descriptive research method with the form of survey study research, with a population of grade XI students. Data collection tools for interviews, questionnaires, test questions and documents. The results of the study show that from the results of the test questions faced to students, it can be seen that there are 16 students who have cognitive abilities that are included in the good category and there are 5 students who are included in the sufficient category. Based on these results from the 21 samples taken, it can be said that the cognitive abilities of students in Biology learning are quite good. And if the percentage of 84.33% of students who understand well and 17.76% of students understand adequately the test questions that are being done.

Abstract

Current environmental problems, both global and national, are largely caused by human behavior, therefore environmental problems can be minimized by instilling a sense of environmental care. The purpose of this study was to determine the relationship between environmental knowledge and environmental care attitudes. The population and sample in this study were 77 students of the Social Studies Education Study Program at STKIP Al Maksum, class of 2022 and 2023. The instruments used were environmental knowledge test questions and an environmental care attitude questionnaire. Based on the results of the study, the results obtained on the variable of environmental knowledge level of students of the Social Studies Education Study Program at STKIP Al Maksum were included in the High category as many as 46 (60%) respondents, then 31 (40%) respondents were included in the medium category and no respondents were included in the low category. On the environmental care attitude variable, students of the Social Studies Education Study Program were included in the high category as many as 49 (64%) respondents, then 28 (36%) respondents were included in the good category and no respondents were included in the bad category. The results of the study indicate that the closeness of the relationship between knowledge and environmental care attitudes is in the very high category with a correlation coefficient value of 0.985. In addition, a significance value of 0.000 is obtained which is smaller than 0.05 (0.000 < 0.05) so H0 is rejected and Ha is accepted, which means there is a significant and positive relationship between environmental knowledge and the formation of environmental care attitudes of students in the Social Studies Education Study Program.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang sering dihadapi mahasiswa dalam memahami mata kuliah Matematika DIskrit II menjadi latar belakang dilaksanakannya penelitian ini. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji bagaimana penerapan model problem based learning (PBL) dapat membantu meningkatkan kemampuan mahasiswa dalam memecahkan masalah matematis pada mata kuliah tersebut. Subjek di penelitian ini adalah mahasiswa program studi pendidikan teknik informatika semester 4 kelas F STKIP Al Maksum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan instrument pengumpul data berupa soal tes kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis dan lembar pengamatan aktivitas dosen dan mahasiswa. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa model PBL mampu meningkatkan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa pada mata kuliah matematika diskrit. Peningkatan kemampuan pemecahan masalah dari siklus I ke siklus II, yang ditunjukkan oleh kenaikan rata-rata nilai dari 63,2 menjadi 73,6. Selain itu, seluruh rangkaian proses pembelajaran yang berlangsung pada siklus II juga menunjukkan perkembangan yang lebih baik dibandingkan dengan siklus sebelumnya. Sehingga dapat disimpulkan bahwa model PBL dalam memperbaiki proses pembelajaran dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis mahasiswa

Abstract

Sistem pembelajaran dituntut kreatif dalam memilih metode yang mendorong mahasiswa lebih aktif dan produktif. Program Studi Pendidikan Teknik Informatika (PTI) memiliki mata kuliah Elektronika Dasar yang dapat ditingkatkan kualitasnya melalui model Project-Based Learning (PjBL) dengan media pembelajaran Fritzing. Fritzing memungkinkan simulasi perancangan dan penggunaan rangkaian elektronika secara visual dan interaktif. Penelitian ini bertujuan mengetahui kelayakan perangkat pembelajaran dan hasil belajar mahasiswa semester IV, antara kelas kontrol IV-D dan kelas eksperimen IV-C. Hasil validasi menunjukkan kelayakan soal tes sebesar 86,5% dan media pembelajaran 85%. Hasil belajar mahasiswa menunjukkan nilai penggunaan komponen sebesar 85,5%, perancangan sistem 87%, dan perakitan sistem 86%, dengan rata-rata keseluruhan 86,16%, yang termasuk kategori A (nilai 85–100). Uji statistik menghasilkan thitung = 11,154 ≥ ttabel = 1,699, artinya Ho diterima. Ini menunjukkan hasil belajar mahasiswa dengan model PjBL berbantuan Fritzing lebih baik dari standar minimum (≥ 74), dan layak diterapkan pada mata kuliah Elektronika Dasar.
