Abstract

The Cinta Bangga Paham (CBP) Rupiah Program is a Bank Indonesia initiative to strengthen public understanding of the rupiah as a symbol of national sovereignty and a legitimate means of payment. This study aims to analyze educators' communication strategies, media use, and challenges in disseminating the program at the Bank Indonesia Representative Office of North Sumatra Province. A descriptive qualitative approach was employed using in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation. Informants included the CBP Rupiah Coordinator, internal Bank Indonesia educators, and external educators from the CBP Rupiah Youth Ambassadors. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. Educators adapted messages to audience characteristics, used simple and contextual language, applied interactive methods, and utilized presentations, educational videos, social media, posters, and instructional materials. Strategy selection was influenced by audience characteristics, educational objectives, geographical conditions, and media developments. Challenges included differences in public understanding, limited time, wide dissemination areas, and unequal technology access. Conclusion: Adaptive, interactive, and audience-oriented communication strategies support effective CBP Rupiah dissemination in North Sumatra.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the impact of Muslim youth urbanization on the development of the community's religious life, as well as the strategies the community uses to face challenges and take advantage of urbanization opportunities in Sidodadi Buluhait Village, South Labuhan Batu. The study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. There are five research informants: two Muslim youths who have moved to the city, one religious leader, one community leader, and one religious organization administrator. Data was collected through in-depth interviews, observation, and documentation, then analyzed through data condensation, data presentation, and drawing and verifying conclusions using source and technique triangulation. The results show that urbanization has led to reduced direct involvement of youth in religious study sessions, mosque activities, Quranic education, religious organizations, and leadership regeneration processes. However, urbanization also provides opportunities through the experiences, insights, skills, and networks that young people gain in cities. Migrant youth can still contribute through social media, sharing ideas, communication, as well as social and economic support. Communities respond to these conditions by strengthening religious guidance and regeneration, maintaining communication with migrant youth, and making use of digital technology. In this way, Muslim youth urbanization has a double impact: it poses challenges to direct participation and regeneration, while also offering opportunities to strengthen religious life through a more flexible and adaptive form of engagement.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to identify and analyze the potential of Kawa Traditional Village in Nagekeo Regency as a cultural tourism destination, focusing on cultural heritage, landscape beauty, and accessibility challenges. A qualitative descriptive approach was employed to examine the actual conditions of the village through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data were primarily obtained from the customary leader of Kawa Village as the key informant and supported by informal information from community members. The findings indicate that Kawa Traditional Village possesses significant cultural heritage potential, reflected in 13 traditional houses, the Kawa clan-based kinship system, local wisdom, and customary rituals. These cultural elements remain actively practiced and contribute to the authenticity of the destination. The village also has considerable landscape beauty, characterized by traditional settlements, agricultural areas, savanna, hills, and mountain scenery between Mount Amagelu and Mount Ebulobo, forming an integrated cultural landscape shaped by interactions between the community and its natural environment. However, accessibility remains a major challenge. The existing concrete road has deteriorated due to water erosion, limiting access for automatic scooters and four-wheeled vehicles, while adequate directional signs and information boards are also lacking. Therefore, the development of Kawa Traditional Village as a cultural tourism destination requires sustainable improvements in accessibility while preserving cultural authenticity, environmental quality, and community involvement.
