Abstract

Advances in digital technology are driving the transformation of governance towards a smart village model. This research aims to explain the form of village government governance innovation in realizing smart villages, analyze the role of social literacy and education in supporting the success of its implementation, and identify challenges and opportunities faced in the village digitalization process. This study uses a qualitative approach with a literature study method that refers to the perspective of public governance and sociology of education. Data sources come from journal articles, books, policy documents, and research reports obtained through databases such as Google Scholar, Scopus, and DOAJ. The data were analyzed thematically and narratively. The results of the study show that village governance innovations include the digitization of public services, the use of online platforms for transparency and participation, and the formation of digital village teams. However, the success of implementation is highly dependent on social literacy and public education, especially in understanding and utilizing technology. The main challenges faced include limited infrastructure, low digital literacy, and program fragmentation between levels of government. This research recommends strengthening community literacy and multi-stakeholder collaboration as the main strategy in building inclusive and sustainable smart villages.

Abstract

Study aim For analyze impact from learning Darul Ahdi Wa nationality Shahadah to understanding attitude nationalist and religious student Grade IV of Cemengkalang State Elementary School. The method used is Pre Experimental Design with pre-test and post-test measurements were conducted on 28 students. The research This includes validity test, reliability test , N-Gain test, normality test, and paired test. Learning This combine values nationality and religiosity, with hope can increase understanding student about attitude nationalist and religious. Abstract

The multicultural learning model is an essential approach in the context of today's education, in the era of globalization where social and cultural diversity is an important aspect that needs to be considered. This model aims to help students develop an attitude of tolerance in addition to emphasizing the cognitive component or mastery of knowledge. The purpose of this study is to see how the use of multicultural learning models affects the understanding of grade IV students about tolerance in Pancasila Education lessons. The researcher used a single-group experimental design and quantitative methodology. 28 students at SD Negeri Sidokepung 1 were the subjects of this study. Data collection was carried out through a pretest to measure students' initial understanding and posttest after the implementation of learning with a multicultural model. Testing the validity and reliability of the instrument is the first step in data analysis. Furthermore, using SPSS software version 26, normality tests, paired sample t-test, and N-Gain tests were carried out. The results of the analysis showed a significant increase in the understanding of students' tolerance attitudes, with the result of an N-Gain value of 0.82 which was categorized as high/effective. This researcher concluded that the multicultural learning model is effective in increasing students' tolerance attitudes and encouraging understanding of social and cultural diversity in the surrounding environment. The findings of this study are expected to support inclusive education and encourage the development of a tolerant generation.

Abstract

In the context of Indonesian education, this research delves into the discourse surrounding the quality of teachers, focusing on the analysis of Guru Gembul's video content. By employing critical discourse analysis, the study aims to uncover the intricate interplay of identity, ideology, and social relationships as portrayed in the video. Through a deep exploration of language use and communication strategies, the research seeks to shed light on the underlying factors influencing teacher effectiveness and educational reform in Indonesia. The methodology involves a qualitative approach, utilizing thematic analysis of the video transcript and audience comments to reveal insights into the perceptions and challenges faced by teachers in the country. The findings highlight the significance of understanding how teachers construct their identities and ideologies through discourse, and how these constructions impact their interactions with students and the broader educational landscape. By bridging traditional textual analyses with multimedia communication, this study contributes to a nuanced understanding of the complexities surrounding teacher quality discourse in Indonesia, ultimately aiming to inform strategies for enhancing the quality of education and supporting teachers in their crucial role in shaping the future of Indonesian students.

Abstract

Assemblr Studio is a learning media application that is currently being developed for educational purposes in creating or designing 3D animations that are fun and interactive. With the help of this 3D technology, it can encourage students to learn and understand learning. Learning outcomes are an important point that should not be missed in the learning and teaching process because it is the most visible indicator of learning achievement. This study uses a quantitative research approach method with the type of True Experimental Design research (experimental design) and the form of Pretest-Posttest Control Group Design research, namely experiments carried out in two groups with a quantitative approach. The purpose of this study is to find out how the learning outcomes of students taught using Assemblr Studio Learning Media affect student learning outcomes in the Social Studies subject of class VIII SMP Sinar Husni and whether there is an influence of Assemblr Studio learning media on student learning outcomes in the Social Studies subject of class VIII SMP Sinar Husni. Data were analyzed using SPSS version 26. The results of the analysis concluded that there is a significant influence of Assemblr Studio learning media on learning outcomes in the Social Studies subject of class VIII SMP Sinar Husni.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the contribution of Salafi understanding among alumni of the Islamic Communication and Broadcasting (KPI) Program at STAI As-Sunnah Tanjung Morawa in countering terrorism-related ideologies in Indonesia. Amid the widespread dissemination of radical ideologies, especially among youth through social media and educational institutions, authentic Salafi teachings offer a moderate and non-violent religious approach. Although STAI As-Sunnah does not formally identify itself as a Salafi institution, the educational and preaching orientation of its alumni reflects a strong adherence to the values of the Salafus Shalih. This research adopts a quantitative approach using a correlational method. A sample of 35 alumni was selected through purposive sampling, and data were collected via a closed-ended questionnaire that had been tested for validity and reliability. The findings indicate that alumni possess a very high level of Salafi understanding, accompanied by a strong attitude against terrorism. There is a very strong correlation between Salafi understanding and anti-terrorism attitudes, with the former significantly contributing to ideological resilience against radicalism. The study concludes that proper and balanced Salafi understanding plays a vital role in shaping moderate religious attitudes and supports deradicalization efforts within the Indonesian Muslim community, particularly among the younger generation.

Abstract

This study aims to find out and analyze the influence of social environment and parental parenting on religious tolerance behavior in children in Manoni Village, Hutaraja Tinggi District. Religious tolerance is an important attitude in the life of a pluralistic society, and its formation is greatly influenced by internal factors in the family as well as external factors from the surrounding environment. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study method. Data was obtained through in-depth interviews, field observations, and documentation of a number of informants, including parents, teachers, community leaders, and children. The results of the study show that an open, harmonious, and mutually respectful social environment plays a major role in shaping children's tolerant attitudes towards religious differences. On the other hand, parents who are democratic, communicative, and provide real examples in religious life also have a significant influence on the way children understand and behave towards diversity. Children who were raised with an inclusive parenting approach and were in a supportive environment showed higher levels of tolerance compared to children who were raised authoritarianly or grew up in an exclusive environment. This study concludes that the synergy between the role of family and the environment is very important in fostering children's tolerance from an early age, in order to form a peaceful and respectful society in the midst of religious differences.

Abstract

This article examines the process of the entry of Islam into Mahala Village, Tina District, Pakpak Bharat Regency, an area where the majority of the population still adheres to the school of faith and is located in the interior of North Sumatra. This historical search was carried out to fill the void of local historical literature regarding the spread of Islam in the Pakpak area which has received less attention in academic studies. The main focus of this research is to identify the path of entry of Islam, what are the evidence of Islamic historical heritage and analyze the influence of Islam on the people of Mahala village, especially in social and cultural aspects. This research uses a qualitative method with a historical approach. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with community leaders, religious leaders, as well as direct observation of historical sites such as old tombs in Lae Meang Hamlet. In addition, secondary sources of documentation are used in the form of articles, archives, and oral historical records. The results of the study show that Islam began to be known in Mahala Village around the 1920s, as evidenced by the existence of the tombs of Islamic propagators with the year of death written between 1923-1927. The process of spreading Islam took place peacefully through trade routes and social interactions, especially by immigrants from Aceh and Barus. Important figures in this process include Teuku Panjang Rambut and Abdurrahim Berutu. Although the Muslim community in Mahala remains a minority, their existence is harmoniously accepted by the local community. The conclusion of this article shows that the process of Islamization in Mahala Village took place culturally and peacefully, not through confrontation. This shows the importance of a social and locality approach in understanding the dynamics of the spread of religion in multicultural areas such as Pakpak Bharat.

Abstract

Global consumption poses significant challenges to sustainable development, making education a vital tool for promoting awareness and responsible green consumption. This study explores environmental literacy as a key link between education and sustainable consumption behavior. Employing a quantitative survey of 400 working-age residents in Surakarta experienced in eco-friendly consumption, the research analyzes how environmental literacy influences green consumption outcomes. Grounded in attitudinal theory, it emphasizes that behavior is shaped by attitudes formed through learning, experience, and social interaction. The results confirm that higher environmental literacy significantly encourages green consumption habits. These findings highlight education’s crucial role in shifting public attitudes and consumption patterns, supporting broader sustainability goals. Moreover, the study suggests important directions for Indonesia’s education system, advocating for the integration of environmental education throughout all academic levels to effectively nurture ecological awareness and responsible consumer behavior.

Abstract

The implementation of the research-based Independent Curriculum in Indonesia faces complex challenges, especially in accommodating students from disadvantaged areas with high heterogeneity of backgrounds. This study aims to analyze the management of the research-based Independent Curriculum at SMA GenIUS and identify the factors that affect the effectiveness of its implementation in students from Eastern Indonesia. The research method uses a qualitative approach with a case study at GenIUS High School, involving the principal, vice principal, 15 teachers, and observation of the implementation of the Re-Search program. Data collection techniques through in-depth interviews, participatory observations, and analysis of curriculum documents. Data were analyzed using Miles & Huberman's thematic analysis technique. The results of the study show that the management of the research-based Independent Curriculum at SMA GenIUS includes four main stages: planning by mapping the level of inquiry through diagnostic tests, organizing differentiated learning in the classroom, the implementation of the Re-Search program with four levels of inquiry (confirmation, structured, guided, open), and holistic evaluation using rubrics and STS assessments. Supporting factors include data-driven documentation systems, collaboration with universities, and the commitment of school management. Meanwhile, the inhibiting factors are the heterogeneity of students' abilities in one class and the need for structured learning modules. The implementation of the Re-Search program improves students' critical thinking skills and research literacy, with the student involvement rate reaching 85% in the selection of research topics according to personal interests.
