Abstract

In the Qur'an, knowledge is seen as something special that makes humans superior to other creatures. The importance of instilling religious and spiritual values in general learning is to increase faith and piety to God Almighty in respecting the universe. The research aims to see how the integration of the Qur'an is implemented in the teaching and learning process, in which the Qur'an is science based on revelation, the hadith of the prophet, and the ijtihad of the scholars, while general science is based on human reasoning based on empirical data, through research. This research uses a qualitative descriptive approach with a phenomenological research type. In this study, the sampling technique used was snowball and purposive. The procedures and techniques used in collecting data in this study are qualitative: observation, FGD, and documentation. The stages of this study presented three stages, namely 1) the pre-field stage, 2) the fieldwork stage, and 3) the data analysis stage. The result of the research is that integrating the Al-Qur'an in the teaching and learning process can be applied well, with efforts to provide training related to the integration of the Al-Qur'an. Implementing Al-Qur'an integration is carried out by internalizing Al-Qur'an values through studies in learning that can be carried out with curriculum integration, learning integration, and integration of Islamization of science.

Abstract

Madrasah and non-religious schools must compete for potential students. These two types of educational institutions compete to attract similar student markets. Therefore, this article aims to explore the strategies of madrasah aliyah (MA) and high school (SMA) in the school market in the local context. In addition, this article aims to explore the positioning, differentiation, and brand (PDB) strategies of MA and SMA in the local context. This research is qualitative. Data was collected using interviews with 16 participants: principals, vice principals, teachers, students, alums, parents, and villagers. The study found the number of MA students declined more than high school students in the past five years. Moreover, the findings of this study show that MA PDB focus on Islamic religious learning and skills is different from the market's expectations: students/parents. In contrast, the GDP chosen by SMA focuses more on academic achievement and further study by the expectations of students and parents. This research suggests that madrasahs and schools analyze market needs for sustainable education as a basis for marketing strategies. The study also suggests a study to verify the effect of PDB on enrolment intention

Abstract

Several challenges hinder French language learning, hence diminishing its effectiveness. Consequently, there is a demand for educational tools that are accommodating and efficient, such as media-sharing sites (MSS). MSS has several positive and negative effects. Minimizing adverse effects requires knowledge of factors that can make learning effective. Consequently, this research aims to fulfill this requirement by identifying the variables that affect learning outcomes and students' responses to the implementation of MSS in learning French. This study used a systematic literature review (SLR). Research data was collected from several databases, including Taylor & Francis Online (tandfonline.com), Research Gate (researchgate.net), and RDiscovery (discovery.research.life). Twenty-two articles were selected, extracted, and analyzed for this study. The findings are grouped into two main issues: factors affecting learning outcomes and students' responses. Factors affecting student learning outcomes are grouped into four areas: learning models, systems and features, audio-visual content, and teacher contributions. Thus, students' responses are categorized into three types: cognitive, affective, and conative responses. The results showed that implementing MSS in learning French assisted educators and learners more effectively and efficiently. Furthermore, it was found that there is a correlation between student responses and the future vision of education.

Abstract

Discussing students' interest in social media has pros and cons. Negative perspectives are seen, such as the degradation of learning activities when students access social media daily. Still, other discussions emphasize the importance of social media as a good gap or opportunity for more interactive learning. Interesting to study, this study aims to determine the effect of social media on interest in education. One hundred four respondents (Vocational Students in DKI Jakarta) were recruited to complete the research questionnaire. The research procedure consists of testing the instrument's validity-reliability, classical assumptions (normality and linearity), and simple linear regression analysis (t-test and the coefficient of determination). The study's results accept the alternative hypothesis that " social media influences students' learning interest". The social media regression coefficient increases learning interest by 1,026 units, and the determinant coefficient is 77.2%. This paper convinces academics that "there is a gap or opportunity for how social media can be a good momentum to accelerate student interest in learning in the future". The essence of the research findings emphasizes scientific discussion about the possibilities of social media as the latest fiber or instrument to be executed by teachers and students in an educational atmosphere.
