Abstract

This study aims to analyze the human resource development strategy implemented by the Election Supervisory Agency (Bawaslu) of Kubu Raya Regency, its implementation in the field, and the supporting and inhibiting factors affecting its execution. A qualitative method with a descriptive approach was employed. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with six key informants selected through purposive sampling, observation, and documentation study, and were analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model comprising data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing and verification, with data validity examined through source, technique, and time triangulation. The results show that the human resource development strategy at Bawaslu Kubu Raya rests on three main pillars, namely education, training, and intellectual quality. Strategy implementation is carried out through opportunities for further formal education, structured and tiered training whose intensity increases during election stages, and the development of digital literacy and analytical capacity that is distributed functionally across divisions. These efforts have contributed to improving employees' competence, professionalism, and readiness in carrying out election supervisory duties, although a relevance gap remains between several employees' formal educational background and their technical assignments. The success of strategy implementation is supported by leadership commitment, clear regulations, the use of information technology, a conducive work environment, and periodic performance evaluation, while budget constraints arising from efficiency policies, a limited number of personnel relative to the workload, and the short tenure of ad hoc supervisors remain the main obstacles. These findings indicate that human resource development at Bawaslu Kubu Raya needs to be continuously strengthened through competency mapping as well as independent and online learning to sustain the professionalism of election supervisors.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze the factors influencing human resource (HR) performance and their role in the successful implementation of a housing construction project managed by PT Andika Fahadi Putra in Kubu Raya Regency, West Kalimantan. A qualitative approach with a single case study design was employed. Data was collected through in-depth interviews with five key informants, participatory field observation, and documentation review, then analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing, with validity established through source and technique triangulation. The results show that five project management factors are the most dominant in shaping HR performance: a clear division of tasks and authority, smooth communication and coordination, directed supervision and control, a fair and appreciative motivation system, and adequate facilities supported by contingency planning for external constraints such as weather and material delays. Management has responded to these factors through detailed job descriptions, routine coordination meetings, a standardized complaint-handling procedure, a firm yet humane supervisory approach, weekly performance evaluation, and flexible scheduling. Furthermore, project effectiveness is shown to depend on four interrelated HR dimensions competence, motivation, discipline, and supervision that jointly determine the quality, timeliness, and efficiency of project outcomes. The study concludes that internal management and HR capacity, rather than external conditions alone, are the primary determinants of construction project performance.

Abstract

This study examines student learning outcomes in Indonesian language learning viewed from the use of animation media, based on twenty accredited journal articles. The problem underlying this research is the limited interactivity of the animation media used in classrooms, which tends to make students passive and less actively involved in the learning process, particularly in schools with limited access to supporting technology. This study aims to describe student learning outcomes across the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains through the use of animation media in Indonesian language learning at the elementary school level. A qualitative approach with a library research (literature review) design was employed, in which secondary data were collected through documentation of research articles, journals, and books, then analyzed using Sugiyono's interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results show that the twenty articles reviewed indicate a predominantly positive impact of animation media on student learning outcomes, marked by improved comprehension of the material, more active learning attitudes, and better language skills compared with conventional learning methods. In the cognitive domain, animation media helps students understand, remember, and master learning material more effectively. In the psychomotor domain, animation media supports the development of listening, speaking, reading, and writing skills. In the affective domain, the use of animation media increases learning interest, motivation, attention, and student engagement throughout the learning process. It is concluded that animation media can serve as an effective alternative learning medium in Indonesian language instruction because it improves student learning outcomes comprehensively across the cognitive, psychomotor, and affective aspects while creating a more interactive and enjoyable learning atmosphere.

Abstract

This research is based on the importance of teacher performance in improving the quality of education in schools. Teacher performance is influenced by various factors, including work climate and principal supervision. This research aims to examine the effect of work climate on teacher performance, the effect of principal supervision on teacher performance, and the simultaneous effect of work climate and principal supervision on teacher performance at SMK Negeri 1 Kota Jambi. The research used a quantitative approach with a survey method. The research population consisted of 108 teachers, all of whom were used as samples using total sampling technique. Data were collected using questionnaires and analyzed with the assistance of the SPSS program. The results showed that work climate had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a t-value of 11.006 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Principal supervision had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with a t-value of 9.129 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). Furthermore, the F-test results showed that work climate and principal supervision simultaneously had a positive and significant effect on teacher performance with an F-value of 111.434 and a significance value of 0.000 (<0.05). The coefficient of determination (R²) of 0.680 indicates that 68% of the variation in teacher performance can be explained by work climate and principal supervision. Based on these results, it can be concluded that a comfortable work climate and good implementation of principal supervision play an important role in optimizing teacher performance.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe teacher creativity in the learning process viewed from the learning interest and motivation of grade II A students at SD Islam Ta’allumul Huda Bumiayu. This research employed a qualitative approach with a case study design. The subjects were the grade II A classroom teacher and students. Data were collected through passive participant observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation. Data trustworthiness was tested using technical triangulation, while data analysis applied the interactive model of Miles and Huberman which included data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that teacher creativity in the learning process viewed from student learning interest was realized through four dimensions: methods, media, classroom management, and learning evaluation. Classroom management was the dimension of teacher creativity that emerged dominantly, while methods, media, and learning evaluation emerged partially. The dominance of teacher creativity in classroom management contributed significantly to the growth of student learning interest, with indicators of pleasure and interest emerging dominantly, attention emerging dominantly, and student involvement emerging partially. Teacher creativity also contributed to student learning motivation which emerged dominantly across all five motivation indicators. These findings confirm that teacher creativity does not depend on technological facilities, but on consistency in creating a conducive learning atmosphere, providing continuous reinforcement, and building humane interactions with students.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of the Make A Match learning model, based on the Bingo Game, on fourth-grade students' proficiency in distinguishing facts from opinions at SDN 2 Toboali. Motivated by observed deficiencies in learning outcomes in Indonesian language instruction and students' difficulties in comprehending factual and opinion-based material, the research aims to evaluate the effectiveness of this pedagogical approach. An experimental approach was employed, utilizing a quasi-experimental design with a Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The sample comprised 41 fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Toboali, selected through purposive sampling. The experimental class included 22 students, while the control class consisted of 19 students. Data were collected using a 10-item essay test. Data analysis involved the Shapiro-Wilk normality test, Levene's test of homogeneity, and the independent-samples t-test using IBM SPSS version 26.0. The results indicated that the data were normally distributed, as pretest and posttest significance values for both classes exceeded 0.05. The homogeneity test demonstrated that the data were homogeneous, with pretest and posttest significance values of 0.179 and 0.848, respectively, both greater than 0.05. The hypothesis test using the independent-samples t-test yielded a Sig. (2-tailed) value of 0.018, which is less than 0.05, leading to the rejection of Ho and acceptance of Ha. These findings indicate that the Make A Match model based on the Bingo Game significantly influences learning outcomes in distinguishing facts and opinions among fourth-grade students at SDN 2 Toboali.

Abstract

Gross motor development is a crucial aspect of early childhood development, as it relates to a child's ability to control and coordinate body movements. Observations at Sabbihisma 2 Kindergarten in Padang revealed that some children aged 5–6 years struggled with maintaining balance, moving in specific directions, and coordinating hand and foot movements. This study aimed to determine the impact of "vehicle-themed" movement-and-song activities on the gross motor development of children aged 5–6 years. A quantitative approach with a quasi-experimental design was employed. The study involved 20 children, divided into an experimental group of 10 and a control group of 10. Data were collected through structured observations using six assessment criteria covering balance, agility, and coordination. Data analysis included normality tests, homogeneity tests, and hypothesis testing using SPSS 27. The results showed that the experimental group's total score rose from 162 in the pre-test to 222 in the post-test, while the control group's score increased from 149 to 191. Hypothesis testing yielded a significance value of 0.003 (p < 0.05). Thus, vehicle-themed movement-and-song activities had a significant effect on the gross motor development of children aged 5–6 years at Sabbihisma 2 Kindergarten in Padang.
