Abstract

The thematic learning process in class V shows that the learning process is not oriented towards critical thinking skills. This is shown when the teacher rarely gives students the opportunity to ask questions during the learning process, and evaluation questions and evaluation questions given at the end of learning or sub-themes have not been directed at developing students' critical thinking skills. The purpose of this research is to find out how to increase the teaching skills of teachers, increase students' critical thinking skills and the learning activities of fifth grade students at SDN 1 Dorang by applying the Problem Based Learning model. This class action research was carried out in class V SDN 1 Dorang with 14 students and teachers as research subjects which were carried out in two cycles, namely cycle one and cycle consisting of 4 stages (1) planning, (2) action (3) observation (4) reflection . The results of this study showed an increase in students' critical thinking skills in cycle I obtaining an average score of 73.81 with low qualifications with classical completeness of 78,57% in cycle II obtaining an average score of 89.65 good qualification with classical completeness of 85,71%

Abstract

This study aims to develop an augmented reality-based learning video in learning 1 Sub-theme of Amazing Regularity. The method of this reserch and development uses ADDIE type (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). This research involved one teacher as a media, material, and language expert. In brief, this study also involved two expert judgment validators. The population and sample in this study were class VI students at SDN Semplak 1 Bogor in the academic year 2021 / 2022 with a total of 28 students. The instruments used in this study consisted of expert validation sheets, student questionnaire sheets, and student evaluation sheets. Based on the average results of the validation carried out by the validator, the expert media average was 90.5%, the linguist average was 92.5%, and the material expert was 90%. Augmented reality-based interactive learning video media also have been effective in increasing the learning motivation of class VI students by 79% in the excellent category and 21% in the good category.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to answer the problem of how the relationship between self-confidence and the ability to speak English in elementary school students. This research took place in class V SDN Perumnas 1 Tangerang City. This study used a quantitative approach using a survey research method used through the SPSS statistical test. The population in this study were all fifth grade students at SDN Perumnas 1 Kota Tangerang, totaling 45 students. The sample used was 30 students with the sampling technique used was Simple Random Sampling. The results of this study indicate that there is a relationship between students' self-confidence and their ability to speak English. The results of statistical analysis using the product moment correlation formula show that the value of rcount is equal to 0.478 and rtable at a significant level of 0.05 is 0.301, so rcount<rtable. This shows that students' self-confidence is one of the components that determines the mastery of speaking English. Keywords: Confidence, Speaking Skills, English.

Abstract

ABSTRACTThe learning process in this is how learning effect after using of learning based local wisdom can increase the average learning outcomes. The purpose of this research it was to increase the average learning outcomes of the four grade students of SD Negeri Jrahi 01 by using local wisdom - based learning assisted lerning modules and the effect can be known. This quantitative research was carried out at SD Negeri Jrahi 01 Pati Regency with the research subjects being 20 students with 7 male students and 13 female students. This study used the One Group Pretest Postest research design with data collection techniques used including pretest and posttest questions as well as documentation. Data analysis to be used is quantitative analysis using statistical formulas with explanatory descriptions. The form of a test is using Pired T-test and N-gain. The result of the research shows that there is increase the average learning outcames of the four grade students of SD Negeri Jrahi 01 before and after taught by using learning effects pati local wisdom - based assisted learning modules. Before using research (pretest) get the average learning outcomes 60,5 and after using research (postest) get the average 80,5 means there is an increase of 15%. It can be concluded of local wisdom based learning assisted by learning moduls can be affect learning outcomes of the four grade students of SD Negeri Jrahi 01.

Abstract

ABSTRAK Pendidikan karakter menjadi wacana sentral pendidikan di Indonesia sejak 2010. Berdasarkan riset yang dilakukan Kemendikbudristek, pandemi covid-19 telah menimbulkan learning loss literasi dan numerasi yang signifikan. Rendahnya minat baca peserta didik pada mata pelajaran Bahasa Inggris, kurangnya pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah semenjak pandemi, dan hasil belajar peserta didik. Fokus penelitian ini adalah mengenai Bagaimana implementasi pendidikan karakter gemar membaca dalam proses pembelajaran bahasa Inggris di kelas IV SD Negeri Rejosari 03?. Tujuan dalam penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui implementasi pendidikan karakter gemar membaca dilihat dari strategi pembelajaran, motivasi, dan juga hasil belajar peserta didik. Metode pada penelitian ini adalah metode kualitatif deskriptif. Penelitian ini berlokasi di SD Negeri Rejosari 03 Kota Semarang, Kecamatan Semarang Timur. Sampel penelitian ini adalah 19 peserta didik kelas IV, guru bahasa Inggris dan kepala sekolah. Data dalam penelitian ini diperoleh melalui observasi, wawancara, angket, tes, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukan 1) Implementasi pendidikan karakter gemar membaca di kelas IV SD Negeri Rejosari 03 dengan indikator (a) kemampuan menangkap isi bacaan, (b) kemampuan menjawab pertanyaan berdasarkan isi bacaan, dan (c) pemanfaatan perpustakaan sekolah oleh peserta didik, belum terlaksana secara maksimal. 2) Strategi yang digunakan dalam pelajaran Bahasa Inggris berbasis pendidikan karakter gemar membaca bervariasi disesuaikan dengan materi pembelajaran. 3) Faktor penghambat implementasi pendidikan karakter dalam mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris di kelas IV SD Negeri Rejosari 03 yakni kurangnya minat membaca pada peserta didik, kurangnya SDM yang hanya mengandalkan kemampuan guru kelas (belum ada guru khusus mata pelajaran bahasa Inggris, guru belum membuat modul ajar secara rutin, dan keterbatasan waktu. Dengan demikian dapat disimpulkan bahwa implementasi pendidikan karakter gemar membaca di kelas IV SD Negeri Rejosari 03 sudah menggunakan strategi yang bervariasi disesaikan dengan materi pembelajaran, namun belum terlaksana dengan maksimal hal ini dikarenakan beberapa indikator belum tercapai. Selain itu, juga terdapat beberapa faktor penghambat seperti kurangnya minat membaca pada peserta didik, kurangnya SDM yang hanya mengandalkan kemampuan guru kelas tanpa guru mata pelajaran khusus bahasa Inggris, dan adanya keterbatasan waktu. Abstract

ABSTRAK Kemajuan ilmu pengetahuan dan teknologi mendorong pendidikan pada siswa untuk peduli dan tanggap terhadap isu-isu yang berkembang dalam masyarakat untuk, memiliki pengetahuan dan pemahaman yang mendalam untuk diaplikasikan dalam pemecahan masalah melalui literasi sains. Sementara kemampuan literasi sains yang dimiliki siswa masih rendah. Sehingga pemanfaatan teknologi pada bahan ajar yang berupa e-book pembelajaran IPA dengan pengintegrasian pendekatan STEM mampu menjadi solusi untuk melatih kemampuan literasi sains siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah 1) untuk mengetahui validitas hasil pengembangan e-book berbasis STEM, 2) untuk mengetahui kepraktisan penggunaan e-book berbasis STEM, 3) untuk mengetahui efektifitas e-book berbasis STEM dalam meningkatkan literasi membaca siswa. Jenis penelitian yang gunakan yaitu penelitian pengembangan (development research) dengan menggunakan rancangan ADDIE. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas IV SDN Lebo 01 sebanyak 30 siswa. Metode pengumpulan data yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes. Analisis data yang digunakan adalah analisis deskriptif kuantitatif melalui uji persyaratan dan uji hipotesis menggunakan Uji Paired Sample T-Test. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa e-book pembelajaran IPA berbasis STEM dinyatakan valid oleh ahli media dengan kriteria sangat baik (94%) dan ahli materi pelajaran dengan kriteria sangat baik (86%). Kepraktisan e-book pembelajaran IPA berbasis STEM diperoleh dari skor rata-rata respon guru sebesar 42 dengan kategori sangat tinggi dan skor rata -rata dari respon siswa sebesar 42,8 dengan kategori sangat tinggi. Hasil uji efektivitas menunjukkan nilai rata-rata pretest 67,83 < hasil rata-rata posttest 86,27 dan dapat dikatakan bahwa e-book berbasis STEM pada pembelajaran IPA efektif meningkatkan literasi sains siswa. Abstract

Learning media is an important part of learning activities. At present the learning media used by teachers still use learning media which is less able to attract student learning interest because it only focuses on one learning media, printed books only. This study aims to determine the development of animaker-based learning media for students in class V theme 7 sub-theme 1 national events during the colonial period at SDN Cilebut 3 Bogor Regency and to determine the feasibility of animaker-based animated video media for the learning process. The method used in this study is the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE model. In this study, validation tests were carried out on several experts in the media, language, and material fields to develop and perfect animated video products using animakers for students. The results of the data from the validation of media experts are 97.5%, which means that the e-module is very feasible to try out. The linguist obtained 84% results, which means that it was declared very feasible and the results from material experts, 92.7%, which were stated to be very feasible for testing. As well as based on trials that have been carried out on fifth grade students as many as 39 students obtained a proper score to be used in the learning process of 88.30%, as well as trials that had been carried out on teachers of 96%, and the results of the evaluation test scores received an average score flat. an average of 82.20 students from KKM 75, got a presentation of student success in working on test questions of 92.30% which means that the E-Module product using flipbooks is very feasible to use in the learning process.

Abstract

ABSTRACT Listening comprehension is one of the understandings that requires high understanding and repetition to understand the topic being heard. However, it is rarely reviewed in schools because, in its implementation, schools must have adequate facilities. The purpose of this study is to determine students' listening comprehension before and after treatment using ESL podcasts by Jeff McQuillan to determine whether or not the use of ESL podcasts effectively improves listening comprehension. This quantitative research method used one group of pre-test and post-test samples (34 students) in eleventh-grade SMA Kesatrian 1 Semarang. To test the effectiveness or ineffectiveness of podcasts, researchers used the t-test. As secondary data, there was an open questionnaire regarding supporting and inhibiting factors in listening learning. The results showed that ESL podcasts were effective in improving listening comprehension. This was obtained from the pre-test (M = 42.3529) and post-test (M = 75.0000) with Sig. (2-tailed) ,000 <0.05 based on the t-test decision-making shows significance if < 0.05.Moreover, the results of the questionnaire, 27 students felt that their listening comprehension had improved, and seven students felt an increase in listening comprehension. The highest factor supporting listening learning is focus, and the highest inhibiting factor is the lack of vocabulary. Keywords: ESL Podcast, Listening Comprehension, English Learning

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to find out the comparison, especially the learning motivation of students in families who experienced divorce (broken homes) with intact (harmonious) families, in addition to knowing the teacher's strategy in dealing with students with broken homes at the school. The source of the data obtained in this study was that there were 254 students at Al Ulum Tuasan Islamic High School, Medan. Data collection techniques in this study used a research instrument by giving a questionnaire. The research method used is quantitative description. The focus of the research is the problem of learning motivation of children who experience broken homes. The results of this study indicate that children who have incomplete families (absent father or mother or both), lack high learning motivation. In addition, the strategies carried out by teachers at Al Ulum Tuasan Islamic High School, Medan show that teachers teach with a variety of learning strategies and methods such as lecture, discussion, question and answer methods, and assignments so that students are motivated to take part in learning and are active and affective so that students are not bored and bored in the learning process takes place.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the lack of learning media in accordance with the needs of schools needed by these schools, namely learning media in Indonesian language learning. So the effort made is to develop word card learning media on the material of the five senses in class I elementary school. So that it helps teachers and students in carrying out the teaching and learning process. Research used by research is research development type of development research or in English Research and Development (R&D) Is a research method used to produce certain products, and test the effectiveness of these products needs and to test the effectiveness of products. Based on the results of trials on the development of word card learning media for the five senses in Indonesian language learning in class I SDN 03 Koto Besar, it meets the valid, practical, and effective categories. Based on the results of the assessment of the 3 validators, the five senses word card media in learning Indonesian obtained an assessment percentage of 86.66%. After being analyzed by category, namely: the content of the material gets a very valid category with a score of 21 with a percentage of 84%, the language category gets a very valid category with a score of 23 with a percentage of 92%, with a very valid category, the graphic category gets a very valid category with a score of 21 with a percentage 84% with very valid category.
