Abstract

Education plays a crucial role in shaping the character and quality of human resources. One of the essential skills is the ability to read, which not only provides access to knowledge but also influences critical thinking and problem-solving skills. Bukit Cermin Hilir Village, as part of a developing community, faces specific challenges in education, particularly in the context of reading. Difficulty in reading can adversely affect the comprehension of study materials and academic performance among children. The role of Guidance and Counseling Teachers (BK) is vital in addressing these challenges. With a profound understanding of the psychological needs and development of children, BK Teachers can design effective intervention strategies to enhance the reading abilities of children in Bukit Cermin Hilir Village. This research aims to explore and analyze the role of BK Teachers in dealing with children who are not yet proficient in reading in this village. The study adopts a qualitative approach with field research methods. Data are collected through observation, interviews, and documentation in Bukit Cermin Hilir Village. The research endeavors to identify concrete solutions and practical recommendations to improve literacy levels among children in this village. The collaborative efforts are expected to contribute positively to enhancing the quality of education and the future prospects of children in Bukit Cermin Hilir Village.

Abstract

This research aims to see the effect of character education on student learning achievement in class VII at SMP Negeri 3 Boja. With a class VII population of 102 students and the sample in this study was taken 25% of the total population of 26 people. This research is quantitative research using simple linear regression analysis techniques. The results obtained in this research are that there is an influence of character education on student learning achievement. This can be seen from the influence of character education which influences learning achievement by contributing 25%. This means that 75% of student learning achievement is influenced by other factors not examined in this research. Based on the description above, it can be concluded that character education influences student achievement results at SMP N 3 Boja, Boja District, Kendal Regency. This shows that the better character education is applied to students, the better the students' learning achievement at the school.

Abstract

In education, it is important to have facilities and infrastructure to support the learning process, such as classrooms, learning tools or media, libraries, and so on. Therefore, there is a need for management or administration to regulate facilities and infrastructure in education. Starting from procuring facilities and infrastructure in schools, checking facilities and infrastructure that are still considered incomplete, and so on. The location or place that was targeted in this research was an elementary school, specifically SDN Sempu 2, Serang City. In this research, researchers used descriptive qualitative research methods, where in this research researchers tended to use analysis or direct observation. Adequate facilities and infrastructure also influence student learning motivation. If the facilities and infrastructure are complete, then students' motivation to learn will be more active, enjoyable and comfortable. Students become happy in carrying out the learning process.

Abstract

Reading,writing and arithmetic skills are important aspects in elementary school. Student need to master aspects of reading, writing and arithmetic. These three aspects have an important role in learning, because by reading, writing and arithmetic children can learn various ways to improve their knowledge. The introduction and cultivation of calistung abilities can begin when children enter the lower grade level which is at the age of 7-9 years, where at this stage student enter the concrete operational stage which has introductive end deductive reasoning. Therefore, the author conducted research on the analysis of the introduction to basic stage learning of reading, writing and arithmetic at SDN Tembong 2. The method used in this research was a qualitative approach with descriptive analysis method. Based on the result obtained from research, improving students reading, writing and arithmetic skills can be done by a playing several methods. In reading activities, researchers use the letter recognition method to provide an introduction for students who still have difficulty remembering the letters of the alphabet. Letter recognition is carried out using the singing method. This aims to ensure that students can remember each letter of the alphabet fluently. Regarding writing skills, almost all stardom still cannot write neatly and almost all student cannot differentiate between uppercase and lowercase letters. Regarding numeracy skills, there are some student who still cannot count but already known number. Based on this, in researcher introduced the finger method four students in order to provide an understanding of counting using the fingers.

Abstract

Advertising is one of the most widely known public services, from children to the elderly, because advertising itself is often used as a promotional tool for products and services. Based on this, the problem in this research is that students still experience difficulties in writing advertising texts. Therefore, the aim of this research is to attract students' interest in writing advertising texts using the image media provided. The method used is the research development (R&D) method with a 4D model. The results of the research show that the validation results of the development of this image media were 91.10%. This indicates that the validation of the development of this image media is very valid, and the results of the practicality test were 78.14%. This figure indicates that the use of image media in the process of learning to write text advertising is practical

Abstract

Early childhood is a child in the age range of 0-6 years who is in a sensitive period, namely in a condition of very rapid growth and development. Aspects of development at this age must be stimulated optimally. Our job as parents or teachers is to facilitate their growth and development. One aspect of the development of children aged 0-6 years that must be developed is social emotional development. Social development is the ability to behave according to social demands. Meanwhile, emotional development is a complex condition that can take the form of feelings or mental vibrations which are characterized by biological changes that appear to accompany a behavior. Children's emotional development is a form of communication so that children can express all their needs and feelings to other people. Emotional development can also influence a child's personality and adjustment in socializing with the environment. The social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years can be stimulated through play activities. Play activities can prepare children to face learning experiences to socialize and how children learn to control emotions appropriately when socializing. One game that can stimulate the social emotional development of children aged 5-6 years is role playing.

Abstract

Cursive writing is an essential writing skill that must be mastered by second grade elementary school students. However, the use of teaching materials in schools is still limited. The average students learning outcomes also have not achieved maximum result. This research and development aims to produce a product in the form of a cursive writing module based on sensory motor in beginning writing learning grade II elementary school. The development of this cursive writing module uses the Research and Development (RnD) method with the Borg and Gall model through 7 stages. Data collection techniques consisted of observation, interviews, questionnaires, and tests. This product has gone through a validation test by getting a percentage of 93.75% by media expert in the "very good" category, 82.5% by material expert in the "very good" category, and 75% by language expert in the "good" category. So that, the average percentage in the validation test by experts obtained 83.75% which is categorized as "very good". Then in the preliminary field testing which involved 3 students, the percentage was 96.67% in the "very good" category. Furthermore, in the main field testing which involved 8 students, the percentage was 97,5% in the "very good" category. The result of the average scores on student’s pretest and posttest showed that there was an increase the average score on student’s cursive writing skills after using this product. Menulis tegak bersambung merupakan keterampilan menulis esensial yang harus dikuasai siswa kelas II Sekolah Dasar (SD). Namun penggunaan bahan ajar penunjang pada materi tersebut di sekolah masih terbatas. Rata-rata hasil belajar siswa juga belum mencapai hasil yang maksimal. Penelitian dan pengembangan ini bertujuan untuk menghasilkan sebuah produk berupa modul menulis tegak bersambung berbasis sensori motorik dalam pembelajaran menulis permulaan siswa di kelas II Sekolah Dasar (SD). Pengembangan modul menulis tegak bersambung ini menggunakan metode Research and Development (RnD) dengan model Borg and Gall melalui 7 tahap. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan terdiri dari observasi, wawancara, kuesioner, dan tes. Produk ini telah melalui uji validasi dengan mendapatkan perolehan persentase oleh ahli media sebesar 93,75% dengan kategori “sangat baik”, ahli materi sebesar 82,5% dengan kategori “sangat baik”, dan ahli bahasa sebesar 75% dengan kategori “baik”. Maka nilai rata-rata pada uji validasi didapatkan persentase sebesar 83,75% yang berkategori “sangat baik”. Kemudian pada uji coba lapangan tahap awal yang dilakukan dengan 3 orang siswa mendapatkan persentase sebesar 96,67% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Selanjutnya pada uji coba lapangan utama yang dilakukan oleh 8 siswa mendapatkan persentase sebesar 97,5% dengan kategori “sangat baik”. Hasil dari nilai rata-rata pada tes awal/pretest dan tes akhir/postest siswa menujukan terdapat peningkatan nilai rata-rata pada keterampilan menulis tegak bersambung siswa setelah menggunakan produk ini

Abstract

Anies Baswedan's leadership as Governor of DKI Jakarta has been in the spotlight since the beginning of his term of office. including the main policies implemented during his term of office, including placing community welfare as the main priority. Various programs have been launched to improve the quality of life of Jakarta residents, including in the fields of education, health and social services. Anies Baswedan's leadership also characterizes his commitment to infrastructure development. Large projects such as the construction of public transportation and revitalization of public spaces are the focus for increasing the comfort and mobility of Jakarta residents. Despite receiving criticism regarding several delays and obstacles, these efforts reflect a determination to improve the condition of the city's infrastructure. Overall, Anies Baswedan's leadership as Governor of DKI Jakarta shows various efforts to improve the welfare of the community and city infrastructure. This article will present an in-depth review of the various policies and projects that have been implemented during his tenure, as well as evaluating their impact on the citizens of Jakarta and Anies Baswedan's overall leadership image. This research was also conducted with the aim of discovering Anies Baswedan's leadership style when he served as Governor of DKI Jakarta, by applying descriptive qualitative research methods. The data sources in the research were obtained from primary data through literature studies in various reading.

Abstract

This research aims to investigate the role of group guidance in increasing students' self-confidence. The research subjects consisted of Guidance and Counseling (BK) teachers and students of SMP N 2 Bahorok, Timbang Lawan Village. This research uses a qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of observation and interviews. The research results show that group guidance is carried out through organizing competitions, such as fashion shows, short surahs, and the call to prayer. The impact of this group guidance is increasing students' self-confidence, improving relationships between guidance and counseling teachers and students, as well as validating the effectiveness of the group guidance method. The conclusion of this research is that group guidance carried out by guidance and counseling teachers, especially through holding competitions, is able to increase students' self-confidence. This competition encourages students to feel more confident in themselves, while strengthening the relationship between teachers and students in the learning process.

Abstract

SD Negeri Karangjati 03 tengah mempersiapkan kurikulum Merdeka berbasis digital sebagai respons terhadap perubahan paradigma pembangunan di abad ke-21. Kurikulum ini akan mencakup topik-topik seperti pembangunan kesejahteraan berbasis peradaban, modal pembangunan sebagai peradaban, modal pembangunan sebagai sumber daya manusia yang beradab, dan warga sebagai pelaku atau produsen. Dalam pergeseran paradigma pembelajaran abad ke-21, penting untuk mengembangkan pemikiran kritis dalam pengambilan keputusan, merumuskan masalah daripada hanya menyelesaikannya, dan mencari pengetahuan dari berbagai sumber. Tujuan pengembangan kurikulum ini adalah memahami landasan pengembangan kurikulum di SD Negeri Karangjati 03, mengembangkan struktur kurikulum Merdeka berbasis digital, dan memastikan relevansi pengembangan kurikulum Merdeka di sekolah tersebut. Dalam era revolusi industri keempat, pengembangan kurikulum yang khusus diperlukan untuk mendukung pembelajaran abad ke-21, termasuk peningkatan jumlah guru berkualitas dan infrastruktur sekolah yang memadai. Dengan menggunakan kurikulum Merdeka, diharapkan siswa dapat mengembangkan kemampuan berpikir kritis, pemecahan masalah, komunikasi, kolaborasi, kreativitas, dan penemuan, serta tetap terhubung dengan nilai-nilai budaya mereka.
