Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the effect of the application of the Project Based Learning model on student learning outcomes. The method used in this research is pre-experiment method with One Group Pretest-Posttest design. The research was conducted at Bani Shiddiq Integrated Islamic Elementary School, involving 20 third grade students of the Integrated Islamic Elementary School as research subjects. The instruments used to measure student learning outcomes were pretest and posttest tests. The pretest was conducted before the learning process to measure students‘ initial knowledge, while the posttest was conducted after the learning process to assess the improvement of students’ understanding and skills. The hypothesis test results showed a significance value of 0.000. Since the significance value of 0.000 <0.05, the null hypothesis (H0) is rejected and the alternative hypothesis (H1) is accepted. So it can be concluded that there is a significant difference in the cognitive learning outcomes of grade III SDIT Bani Shiddiq students, towards improving student learning outcomes by using the Project Based Learning model. In addition, the N-Gain test results show a value of 0.5649 which is included in the medium criteria which indicates an increase in student learning outcomes. Thus it can be concluded that there is an effect of the Project Based Learning model.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengaruh model permainan berburu ubur-ubur terhadap minat belajar kelas II MI Ma’arif Dukuh. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan yaitu penelitian quasi eksperimental. Populasi penelitian adalah siswa kelas II MI Ma'arif Dukuh tahun ajaran 2024/2025. Sampel dipilih menggunakan purposive sampling, dengan kelas IIA sebagai kelompok eksperimen dan kelas IIB sebagai kelompok kontrol. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi, angket, dan dokumentasi, kemudian dianalisis menggunakan statistik inferensial dan uji t. Hasil menunjukkan nilai rata-rata kelompok eksperimen 18,92, sedangkan kelompok kontrol 17,67. Uji t pada taraf α 0,05 menghasilkan nilai signifikansi 0,021 < 0,05, menunjukkan penolakan H0 dan penerimaan H1. Disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model permainan berburu ubur-ubur terhadap minat belajar matematika siswa kelas II MI Ma’arif Dukuh Kota Salatiga.

Abstract

This study aims to enhance interest in mathematics learning among second-grade students at SDN (State-Run Elementary School) Blotongan 02 Salatiga by implementing the "jellyfish hunting" game method. The research employed a Collaborative Classroom Action Research approach using the Kemmis and Taggart model. The study involved 24 students from class II B and was conducted in two cycles, utilizing questionnaires and documentation for data collection. Results demonstrated a significant improvement in students' interest in learning mathematics. In the pre-cycle phase, the average interest in mathematics learning was 75.1% with a class average score of 59. Cycle I increased to 78.7% in learning interest with a class average of 68. In cycle II, the average interest in mathematics learning reached 93.3% with a class average score of 89. Learning mastery also improved from 25% in the pre-cycle to 50% in cycle I, and 91% in cycle II. Applying the jellyfish hunting game method improved learning interest, student engagement, and understanding of mathematical concepts. This study concludes that the jellyfish hunting game method can effectively increase the interest in learning mathematics among second-grade students at SDN Blotongan 02 Salatiga.

Abstract

Tujuan penelitian ini yaitu untuk meningkatkan keterampilan menulis Teks Laporan Hasil Observasi dan mendeskripsikan implementasi pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dalam meningkatkan menulis teks Laporan Hasil Observasi peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 33 Makassar. Penelitian ini berbentuk Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang dilaksanakan selama dua siklus. Setiap siklus melalui kegiatan perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi dan refleksi. Subjek penelitian ini adalah peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 33 Makassar yang terdiri dari 10 peserta didik laki-laki dan 15 peserta didik perempuan. Teknik pengumpulan data yang digunakan yakni tes, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data yang digunakan model analisis kuantitatif. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pada siklus I, nilai rata-rata keterampilan menulis teks Laporan Hasil Observasi peserta didik sebesar 74,4 dalam kategori cukup dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 54% meningkat pada siklus II, nilai rata-rata kelas meningkat menjadi 85,4 dalam kategori sangat baik dengan persentase ketuntasan belajar 88%. Berdasarkan hasil penelitian dapat disimpulkan bahwa menggunakan pendekatan Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) dapat meningkatkan keterampilan menulis teks Laporan Hasil Observasi pada peserta didik kelas VIII SMPN 33 Makassar.

Abstract

Permasalahan yang dihadapi dalam penelitian ini adalah rendahnya hasil belajar siswa. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah untuk mengetahui hasil belajar mata pelajaran ekonomi yang diajarkan dengan model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning siswa kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Binjai tahun pelajaran 2023/2024. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan di SMA Negeri 2 Binjai. Populasi dalam penelitian ini adalah seluruh kelas XI IPS SMA Negeri 2 Binjai yang tersisa yang berjumlah 133 siswa. Teknik pengambilan sampel yang digunakan adalah purposive sampling yang terdiri dari kelas eksperimen dan kelas kontrol. Dari hasil analisis data kelas eksperimen diperoleh rata-rata skor pre test dan post test sebesar 42,1 dan 67,41. Sedangkan pada kelas kontrol diperoleh rata-rata skor pre test dan post test sebesar 45,44 dan 60,29. Uji hipotesis dari hasil uji-t menggunakan SPSS diperoleh sig. 0,017 < 0,05 maka ditolak dan diterima. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa ada pengaruh model pembelajaran Problem Based Learning terhadap hasil belajar siswa di SMA Negeri 2 Binjai.

Abstract

Matematika merupakan ilmu yang membantu manusia memecahkan masalah sehari-hari. Namun kenyataannya, masih minimnya prestasi dan motivasi siswa dalam pelajaran matematika. Hal tersebut juga dialami oleh siswa kelas IV di SDN Lontar Baru. Dimana terdapat banyak siswa di kelas IV yang belum mahir dalam menghitung perkalian. Hanya ada beberapa siswa yang sudah mahir berhitung perkalian 1 sampai 10 tanpa melihat buku perkalian pintar. Hal tersebut juga disebabkan karena beberapa faktor, yaitu : adanya pembelajaran daring selama pandemi, minimnya motivasi siswa dalam belajar perkalian, kurangnya pemahaman siswa dalam menghitung perkalian dan pada saat mengajar, guru lebih menekankan pada penggunaan metode ceramah dan sesekali melakukan tanya jawab. Tujuan dari penelitian ini, yaitu : untuk mengetahui kendala siswa kelas IV SDN Lontar Baru pada materi perkalian dasar, untuk mengetahui keefektifan dari penerapan metode drill pada materi perkalian dasar. Metode yang digunakan pada penelitian ini yaitu metode kualitatif. Teknik pengumpulan data dilakukan melalui wawancara dan observasi. Penelitian ini dilaksanakan pada minggu pertama bulan September sampai minggu ketiga bulan Oktober tahun 2022. Hasil kegiatan pengerjaan pre-test dan post-test yang pertama, terjadi peningkatan sebanyak 8 siswa, yang semula hanya 9 siswa yang mahir dalam menghitung perkalian, kemudian bertambah menjadi 17 siswa. Hasil kegiatan pengerjaan pre-test dan post-test yang ke dua juga mengalami peningkatan sebanyak 5 siswa, pada kegiatan sebelumnya terdapat 17 siswa yang mahir dalam menghitung perkalian, kemudian bertambah menjadi 22 siswa. Hal tersebut menunjukkan bahwa metode drill merupakan metode yang efektif untuk memperkenalkan materi perkalian kepada siswa sekolah dasar.

Abstract

Teachers play a crucial role in developing students' emotional intelligence at school, serving not only as teachers but also as determinants of the quality of education. This study is motivated by the importance of emotional intelligence that affects students' social interactions, character development and mental well-being. Observation in grade III shows that students tend to be explorative and active in seeking new experiences. As the highest level of primary education, grade III students often feel more mature and play the role of older siblings. Students with stable emotional intelligence are usually obedient and able to distinguish the right actions, while students with less stable emotions face difficulties in controlling their emotions. This research aims to find out 1) the role of teachers in shaping the emotional intelligence of third grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun, 2) supporting and inhibiting factors in shaping emotional intelligence of third grade students of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun. The method used was descriptive qualitative approach. Data collection techniques used were observation, interview, and documentation. This research obtained the following results: 1) The role of teachers in shaping students' emotional intelligence in class III of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Ma'had Al-Zaytun is teacher as educator, teacher as motivator, teacher as facilitator, teacher as mediator, teacher as guide, teacher as director, and teacher as parent. 2) Supporting factors in fostering students' emotional intelligence are conducive environment, social caring attitude and habituation of saying please, sorry and thank you. The inhibiting factors in fostering students' emotional intelligence are the lack of communication between parents and teachers, feelings of homesickness, social background, family economic background and teacher psychology in the process of guiding students. Abstract

This research was motivated by the low learning motivation of students in mathematics subjects. This is because, in the learning process, teachers use less learning media when presenting mathematics which is known to be abstract. This research aims to increase students' learning motivation in mathematics learning by using appropriate learning media. This research is Classroom Action Research (PTK) with the research subjects being 31 class II students at UPT SD Inpres Unggulan BTN Regional Government for the 2024/2025 Academic Year. The data collection technique used in collecting data on mathematics learning motivation was a questionnaire and analyzed using descriptive statistical analysis. Based on data analysis, in cycle I, the percentage of motivation to learn mathematics for class II students using learning media reached 64% in the medium category. Cycle II, the percentage of motivation to learn mathematics increased to 74% in the high category. So these results show that the use of learning media in mathematics subjects is effective in increasing the learning motivation of class II students at UPT SD Inpres Unggulan BTN Pemda.

Abstract

Indonesia subject ini school has an important role in helping students develop systematic, logical, critical, creative and consistent thinking skills. However, the results of observation show that the level of student activity in learningdi Indonesian in class VI A is still low, which has the potential to hinder the achievement of learning objectives. This research aims to increase students' activeness in learning Indonesian through the application of the Problem Based Learning (PBL) learning model and the use of Wordwall learning media. The method used was classroom action research with research subjects 34 class VI students at UPT SD Inpres Bontoala 1. Data was collected through observation and documentation sheets, and research was carried out in two cycles, each consisting of planning, action, observation and reflection stages. The research results show that the application of the PBL learning model with Wordwall media significantly increases student activity. In the pre-cycle, the level of student activity only reached 57.14%, increasing to 67.64% in cycle I, and reaching 80% in cycle II. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the Problem Based Learning learning model using Wordwall media is effective in increasing students' activeness in learning Indonesian at UPT SD Inpres Bontoala 1.

Abstract

The problems identified in this study are the lack of activities and critical thinking skills possessed by students. This is because learning only flows in one direction, minimal student involvement, lack of application of learning models, and boring learning. The use of Problem Based Learning, Number Head Together, and Team Game Tournament learning strategies will help you solve this problem. This study seeks to highlight teacher activities and investigate ways to improve learning objectives, critical thinking skills, and student involvement. Three classroom action research (CAR) meetings have been carried out. Twenty-one students from class IV B at SDN Kebun Bunga 4 Banjarmasin became the subjects of the study during the second semester of the 2023–2024 academic year. The conclusion of this study explains how educators aged between 24 and 30 years work to meet the "Very Good" level. Traditionally, observations of student activity have increased from 52.38% to 90.48% when using the "Very Active" category. Critical thinking skills have traditionally increased from 47.62% to 94%. Student learning outcomes increased from 42.86% to 100% when the "Very Active" criteria were applied. Problem Based Learning, Number Head Together, and Team Games Tournament models can be used to improve student learning outcomes, teacher activities, and critical thinking skills.
