Abstract

Pembelajaran matematika khususnya pada materi peluang masih menghadapi berbagai tantangan, seperti anggapan bahwa materi tersebut sulit dan penyampaian yang masih bersifat konvensional. Hal ini berdampak pada rendahnya pemahaman peserta didik terhadap konsep peluang. Untuk menjawab tantangan tersebut, penelitian ini bertujuan mengembangkan media pembelajaran interaktif berbasis Problem Based Learning (PBL) bernama PROBASOLVE. Penelitian ini merupakan penelitian pengembangan dengan model ADDIE, yang dibatasi sampai pada tahap development. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas X SMA. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah angket validasi ahli materi dan ahli media untuk menilai kelayakan media yang dikembangkan. Proses pengembangan terdiri dari tiga tahapan awal yaitu: (1) Analyze, yang mencakup analisis kebutuhan, kurikulum, dan karakteristik peserta didik; (2) Design, meliputi penyusunan materi, kisi-kisi instrumen, dan desain media berbasis PBL; serta (3) Development, yang meliputi validasi produk oleh ahli dan revisi berdasarkan masukan. Hasil validasi menunjukkan bahwa media PROBASOLVE memperoleh skor rata-rata 88,96% dari ahli materi dan 87,56% dari ahli media, keduanya masuk dalam kategori “sangat valid” dengan skor rata-rata sebesar 88,26%. Media ini terbukti dapat menyajikan materi peluang secara kontekstual dan interaktif, sehingga mampu mendorong keterlibatan aktif peserta didik dalam proses pembelajaran. Oleh karena itu, PROBASOLVE dinilai layak digunakan sebagai alternatif inovatif dalam meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran matematika di era digital.

Abstract

Leadership in education is a crucial factor influencing the quality of education in Indonesia. This study addresses the challenges faced by school principals in improving their leadership capacity, which significantly affects the overall educational ecosystem. Key issues include the lack of managerial skills among principals, inadequate research on educational leadership, and non-merit-based selection processes for school leaders. Furthermore, the rapid technological advancements and globalization present additional challenges for principals in adapting to new educational demands. This research explores these problems and suggests solutions such as reforming principal training programs, enhancing research-based decision-making, implementing merit-based selection processes, and preparing principals for technological and global changes. The findings aim to contribute to the improvement of educational leadership in Indonesia.

Abstract

ABSTRACT The failure of local governments in managing government is generally seen in regional wealth, local revenue, budget, services, trade, technology and human resource management. This problem can be minimized when the government uses good management, for that it is necessary to create a model of local government management. The identification of the problem from this study is how the strategy, obstacles and efforts to renew local government management through the management back to basic approach. The purpose of the study is to describe the strategy, obstacles and efforts to renew local government management through the management back to basic approach in the local government. The research method is descriptive analysis with a combination approach. Research Object: City Government. The results of the study indicate that the role of local governments in service, development and community empowerment functions is not optimal. Services are still lacking, development is not fully in accordance with the RPJMD and community empowerment is still low. The City's Vision and Mission have not been fully used as a basis for implementing development. Management functions through human resource management, planning management, financial management, facilities and infrastructure management, and conflict management have not been managed properly. Abstract

This study aims to improve the speaking skills of fourth-grade students at SD Negeri 106 Labojo through the implementation of the Student Facilitator and Explaining learning model. The research was motivated by the students' low speaking abilities, as reflected in their lack of confidence, fluency, clarity, and courage when speaking in public. The method used was Classroom Action Research (CAR), conducted over two cycles. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, speaking skill tests, and documentation. The results showed a significant improvement in students’ speaking skills, with the average score increasing from 62 in the first cycle to 92 in the second cycle, and learning mastery rising from 23% to 100%. Thus, the Student Facilitator and Explaining model is effective in enhancing students’ speaking skills Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa kelas IV SD Negeri 106 Labojo melalui penerapan model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining. Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh rendahnya kemampuan berbicara siswa, yang terlihat dari kurangnya keberanian, kefasihan, kejelasan, dan kepercayaan diri saat berbicara di depan umum. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) sebanyak dua siklus. Teknik pengumpulan data meliputi observasi, wawancara, tes keterampilan berbicara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan peningkatan keterampilan berbicara siswa dari rata-rata nilai 62 pada siklus I menjadi 92 pada siklus II, dengan ketuntasan belajar meningkat dari 23% menjadi 100%. Dengan demikian, model pembelajaran Student Facilitator and Explaining efektif diterapkan dalam meningkatkan keterampilan berbicara siswa.

Abstract

ABSTRACT This study was carried out with the aim of analysing the impact of using MilleaLab teaching materials on the cognitive learning outcomes of Class VIII students in Pancasila subjects at SMP Negeri 8 in the city of Serang. The methodology used was a quantitative method with a quasi-experimental approach, using a non-equivalent control group design. The research sample was randomly selected, namely class VIII B as the experimental class and class VIII C as the control class, assuming that the two classes had identical or homogeneous characteristics. Data was collected using multiple-choice learning tests based on Bloom's revised taxonomy. Data analysis began with initial tests of normality and homogeneity, followed by hypothesis testing using the T-test for independent samples. The results of the analysis showed that using the MilleaLab support had a significant effect on improving cognitive learning outcomes. This was reflected in the experimental class's highest pre-test score of 81 and highest post-test score of 100, while in the control class the highest pre-test score was 77 and the highest post-test score was 92. The significant increase in the test class shows that the MilleaLab learning environment can contribute positively to students' cognitive learning outcomes. The hypothesis test shows a significant value (two-tailed) of 0.000, which is below the threshold of α = 0.05, so that H₁ is accepted. It can be concluded that the use of MilleaLab learning aids has a significant impact on Grade 8 students' cognitive learning outcomes in Pancasila subjects at SMP Negeri 8 in Serang City. ABSTRAK Penelitian ini dilakukan untuk menganalisis besarnya pengaruh penggunaan bahan ajar MilleaLab terhadap pencapaian hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di SMP Negeri 8 Kota Serang. Metodologi yang digunakan adalah metode kuantitatif dengan pendekatan kuasi eksperimen menggunakan desain kelompok kontrol non-ekuivalen. Sampel penelitian dipilih secara acak, yaitu Kelas VIII B sebagai kelas eksperimen dan Kelas VIII C sebagai kelas kontrol, dengan asumsi bahwa kedua kelas tersebut memiliki karakteristik yang sama atau homogen. Data dikumpulkan melalui tes hasil belajar dengan menggunakan soal pilihan ganda yang dikembangkan berdasarkan taksonomi Bloom yang telah direvisi. Analisis data diawali dengan uji normalitas dan homogenitas awal, dilanjutkan dengan uji hipotesis menggunakan T-test untuk sampel independen. Hasil analisis menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan dukungan MilleaLab memiliki pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif. Hal ini tercermin dari nilai pre-test tertinggi pada kelas eksperimen sebesar 81 dan nilai post-test tertinggi sebesar 100, sedangkan pada kelas kontrol nilai pre-test tertinggi sebesar 77 dan nilai post-test tertinggi sebesar 92. Peningkatan yang lebih signifikan pada kelas eksperimen menunjukkan bahwa media pembelajaran MilleaLab dapat memberikan kontribusi positif terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa. Uji hipotesis menunjukkan nilai signifikan (dua sisi) sebesar 0,000 yang berada di bawah batas α = 0,05, sehingga H₁ diterima. Dari hal tersebut dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan media pembelajaran MilleaLab berpengaruh secara signifikan terhadap hasil belajar kognitif siswa kelas VIII pada mata pelajaran pendidikan Pancasila di SMP Negeri 8 Kota Serang.

Abstract

This research discusses about improving the basic skills of Shooting in basketball games through shooting ball games for students in class XMIA SMA Negeri 3 Pekanbaru. This research uses qualitative research methods in the form of classrooom action research. This research method was chosen because it provides an overview of student behavior during teaching and learning activities. The result of this study is an increase in the basic skills of shooting basketball through the game of tempak balls by using tools to give a stimulus effect on the direction of the eye's view so that it can automatically focus more. In this study conducted with two cycles. Students in terms of shooting experienced good progress from the pre-cycle only obtained an average score of 5.87, increased to 7.43 at the end of cycle I and increased to 9.71 at the end of cycle II.

Abstract

Cassava leaves are a locally abundant food resource in Indonesia with high potential to be developed into economically valuable products. This study aims to describe the development process and community responses to the innovation of cassava leaf-based snacks called CENDAKONG (Cassava Leaf Jerky Snack). The research employed a descriptive qualitative method with a participatory approach through training and socialization activities targeting members of the women's religious gathering (Perwiritan) in Jalan Srikandi, Tegal Sari Mandala II, Medan Denai District, Medan City. The activity was conducted on April 13, 2025, using lectures and demonstrations. The results showed that the training was successfully implemented and received positive feedback from participants. CENDAKONG was successfully developed as a nutritious and economically valuable local food product. The success of this project demonstrates that processing local food resources through creative approaches and supported by proper training can empower communities and open entrepreneurial opportunities that improve the standard of living and local-based economic development

Abstract

This study aims to analyze students’ difficulties in solving mathematics problems on the topic of three-dimensional shapes, including difficulties in using concepts, principles, and solving verbal problems. This research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection techniques in the form of tests, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of 3 students from a total of 22 fifth-grade students at SD Inpres Pare’ Pare’, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency, who were selected based on high, medium, and low levels of mathematical ability. The obtained data were analyzed through the stages of data reduction and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that difficulties in using concepts were experienced by students with both high and low abilities. High-ability students had difficulty because they forgot formulas. Meanwhile, low-ability students showed a deep lack of understanding of basic concepts of three-dimensional shapes, such as formulas for volume and surface area. Difficulties in using principles were experienced by students with medium and low abilities. They often made errors in calculations, used incorrect formulas, or did not complete the problem-solving process correctly. This indicates a weak mastery of basic mathematical principles. Difficulties in solving verbal problems were experienced by students with medium and low abilities. These students had difficulty understanding word problems, identifying relevant information, and formulating solution strategies. The main cause was the inability to relate contextual information to mathematical form.

Abstract

The study was conducted with the aim of determining the effect of Quiver-based visual learning media on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 060843 Medan Barat. The study population consisted of all students in grades V-2 and V-4 of SDN 060843 totaling 50 students. The research sample was the total number of students in grades V-2 and V-4 of SDN 060843 totaling 50 students taken using total sampling. The data collection technique used in this study was by using 4 data in the form of observation data, interviews, written tests and documentation. The results of the study showed that there was an effect on the learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 060843 after using Quiver-based visual learning media after conducting normality tests and t-tests on the research data. Based on the findings of the research results, it is recommended for researchers and educators to be able to optimize learning media by utilizing technology, especially those based on Augmented Reality (AR).

Abstract

This study aims to describe the role of teachers in fostering students' interest in learning Javanese in class III SDN Purwoyoso 02. This study uses a qualitative approach with a case study type, involving one teacher and 21 students. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires. The results of the study indicate that teachers apply various innovative learning strategies, such as PjBL, storytelling, group discussions, and role simulations, as well as utilizing audio-visual media. This approach creates a more lively and contextual learning atmosphere, thereby increasing student involvement and interest. Teachers also take a personal approach according to student characteristics. Based on the questionnaire, most students showed enthusiasm and relevance to learning Javanese. This finding confirms the importance of the role of teachers in fostering interest in learning through varied and relevant strategies.
