Abstract

Abstract Education must be able to accommodate towards to all those differences, and must provide all the students need as well encouraging them to actively participate in the learning process. The teaching process in class is still not giving the best support towards each student’s need. Most teachers still have a mindset that all students must have the same ability and has no clue how to probe the students need. The teaching process that’s been given are usually seem monotone and still using the teacher centered procedure, this procedure will hampering the critical thinking of students. I will share about the implementation from one of learning model which is differentiating instruction. This model can accommodate diversity students based on different readiness levels, interests and learning profile. Keywords : Differentiated Instruction, Diversity

Abstract

Analyzing the implementation to increase the learning involvement of students in elementary schools is the purpose of this study, using the learning media Stik Angka Papan Bilangan (SAPI) in learning mathematics class II-B, Dukuh Kupang V/534 Surabaya State Elementary School. The activities of this class action research are grade II elementary school students, from the observations made, it can be concluded that learning in the class takes place in a boring way. Learners are less active, learning methods rely more on lectures and are teacher-oriented. And the response of some students to learning tends to be low, it can be concluded that during learning, students are only in a state of silence without giving a response. In analyzing the research data using quantitative descriptive techniques. The focus of this research is students in class II-B SDN Dukuh Kupang V/534 Surabaya with a total of 27 students, which includes 11 students who are male and 16 students who are female. This study consisted of 3 observers and obtained the activity of less active students 14%, active students 52%, and very active students 34%. Thus the implementation of learning with Stik Angka Papan Bilangan (SAPI) media succeeded well and provided maximum results, namely an increase of 86%.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the effect of using short films on students' civic disposition in learning Pancasila education. The research employed a quantitative quasi-experimental approach using a Nonequivalent Control Group Design at SMP Negeri 5 Kota Serang. The population consisted of grade VIII students, with purposive sampling selecting class VIII G as the experimental group and class VIII K as the control group. Data collection techniques using questionnaires, observation and documentation. Data analysis uses statistical processing, namely normality test, linearity test, homogeneity test, and hypothesis testing. Hypothesis testing techniques using simple linear regression test, paired sample t-test and independent sample t-test. The results of the simple linear regression test obtained the equation Y = 17.199 + 0.811 with tcount> ttable (6.859> 1.990 which means the use of short films has a positive and significant effect on the civic disposition of students. The results of the paired sample t-test test in the experimental class obtained a Sig. (2-tailed) of 0.000 ≤ 0.005 with a Sig value. (2-tailed) 0.000 ≤ 0.005, -tcount < -ttable (-9.985 < -2.023) which means there is a difference in civic disposition after using short film media on students in learning Pancasila education. Then the results of the independent sample t-test test obtained a Sig. value of 0.013 < 0.05 with tcount> ttable (2.553> 2.023) which means there is a difference in the civic disposition of students in learning Pancasila education between students who use short films and students who use print media.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar siswa dalam pelaksanaan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi pada materi polinomial di kelas XI MAT 3 SMAN 4 Makassar. Hipotesis dalam penelitian ini adalah jika model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi diterapkan dalam materi polinomial, maka hasil belajar siswa dapat meningkat. Subjek dalam penelitian ini adalah siswa kelas XI MAT 3 SMAN 4 Makassar pada semester ganjil tahun ajaran 2024/2025, dengan jumlah siswa 25 orang. Teknik pengumpulan data yang dilakukan dalam penelitian ini adalah observasi untuk mengetahui aktivitas siswa dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran serta tes pada akhir pembelajaran untuk mengetahui hasil belajar siswa. Berdasarkan hasil analisis data, diperoleh skor rata- rata hasil belajar siswa pada siklus I adalah 67 dan pada siklus II sebesar 75. Terjadi peningkatan hasil belajar siswa setelah diterapkan model pembelajaran discovery learning dengan pendekatan pembelajaran berdiferensiasi. Peningkatan tersebut juga diikuti dengan aktivitas siswa dan keterlaksanaan pembelajaran yang berada pada kategori sangat baik.

Abstract

Learning is an effort made by individuals consciously to produce behavioral changes through activities, practices, and experiences in the interaction of individuals with their environment. Therefore, to achieve learning achievement, students need to have the ability to regulate their learning, namely determining goals for themselves, evaluating their success in achieving goals, and rewarding themselves when they achieve those goals. Peer social support is a significant determinant of students' self-regulated learning. Adolescent students allocate a greater amount of time to socialising with their peers. This study was prompted by an observed phenomenon among students at SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency. It was noted that some students lacked clear learning objectives, frequently left the classroom during instructional sessions, chose to skip or not attend classes in favour of following their peers, and demonstrated a lack of motivation to prepare for exams. The aim of this study is to evaluate the impact of peer social support on the self-regulation of students at SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency. This study employs a quantitative research approach with a descriptive correlation design. The study's population comprised students from The study sample comprised eleventh-grade students from SMAN 1 V Koto Kampung Dalam, Padang Pariaman Regency, who were enrolled in the academic year 2023/2024. The sampling method used was proportionate random sampling, which ensured a fair distribution depending on the number of students in each class. The study population comprised 61 individuals. A Likert scale was employed as the instrument for data collection. The data analysis technique employed a fundamental linear regression test. The study results reveal that peer social support (X) has a significant impact on student self-regulated learning (y), accounting for 7.8% of the variance. This is supported by a calculated t value of 2.227, which is higher than the critical t value of 2.001. This demonstrates that for every one-point increment in the peer social support variable, there will be a corresponding rise of 0.078 in the value of self-regulated learning.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the existence of problems in parents who do not understand the importance of improving the character and attitude of children believing that improving attitudes is only possible through formal education (school), children pay less attention to children, or parents believe their children are not educated optimally for their development. Poor character and attitudes such as impolite speech, lack of care for fellow friends, dishonesty towards parents and lack of respect for elders. Parents are mothers who give birth to children and biological fathers who are most similar to children physically and behaviorally. And parents play a very important role in shaping children's character into respectful, honest, polite, responsible, kind, and obedient children. This study aims to determine the role of parents in improving politeness in children in Jorong Pasia Tiku, Tanjung Mutiara District, Agam Regency. The research approach is qualitative with a descriptive approach. The data collection techniques used in this research are interviews, observation and documentary research. key informants are parents and supporting informants of children and community leaders. The results showed that some parents practiced good manners towards their children by educating them through exemplary, establishing an early education system, and applying the principle of justice in regulating the management of play and study time.

Abstract

Application of Experimental Methods to Increase Understanding of the Concept of Grade IV Primary School Students in Science Lesson. The purpose of this study is to describe data on: (1) student activity in science learning by applying experimental method; (2) improvement of understanding of science concept by applying experiment method. The method used in this research is a classroom action research with Kemmis n Mc design. Taggart. This research was conducted in the odd semester of academic year 2017/2018 at SD Negeri Wirukencana in grade 4 students. Data collection techniques used are observation, test and documentation. Based on the processing and data analysis, the results of this study are: (1) Student activity at the time of learning using experimental method that is in the first stage students pay attention to the initial experiments conducted by the teacher as evidenced by answering questions asked by teachers around the experiment. Then at the observation stage all the students recorded things that happened while observing the experiments performed by the teacher. The third stage of the students make a hypothesis according to the conceptual observation based on observation. Furthermore, in the verification stage students conduct experiments that refer to the LKS in a group way, the students divide each task on each member of the group such as the task as chairman of the group, secretary, moderator and other tasks in the experiment. After the students complete the experiment each group discuss or present the results of his group's observations in front of the class. The fifth stage is the application of concepts, the students are able to give examples of the alteration of changes in the form of things in everyday life; and (2) The application of experimental methods in general can increase the understanding of the concept of fourth grade students.

Abstract

Abstract This study aims to determine the effect of the storytelling learning method on the mastery of Indonesian vocabulary in class III UPT SDN 100 Gresik. This research is motivated by the low mastery of Indonesian vocabulary in class III UPT SDN 100 Gresik. This research is a descriptive classroom action research. The subjects in this study were 20 students in 1 class. The data collection technique in this study used an oral test. The data analysis technique used covariance analysis. The results showed that the significant value was evidenced by the calculated significance value in the hypothesis test of 0.060 which was greater than 0.05 with a partial value of 0.78 or 78%. In this case, it can be said that learning by using the storytelling method has a significant effect or it can be said that the learning of Indonesian vocabulary mastery increases from the results of the previous cycle data. Abstract

This study aims to determine the influence of canva-based audio-visual media in improving the learning outcomes of IPAS students in grade V of SDI Tebuireng Abdul Wahid Hasyim. This study uses quantitative research with a Pre-Experiment Design approach of the One Group Pre-Test Post-Test Design type. The researcher only used an experimental class without a control class to see the results in the pre-test and post-test as a benchmark for equality before and after treatment using canva-based audio-visual media. The population in this study is all students in grade V consisting of classes VA and VB. The technique in sample selection used is saturated sample. The sample to be used is the VA class with a total of 32 students. The validity test was used with the Pearson Product-Moment Correlation formula. Then the reliability test was continued with Cronbach's Alpha formula. The data in the research results were then tested for normality with the Kolmogorov-Smirnov test formula. For the T test, the Paired Sample T-Test was used at a significance level of α = 5% or α = 0.05 in the hypothesis test. Then to calculate how much impact audio visual media has on learning outcomes, researchers use the Size Effect test. The results of the study showed that the use of canva-based audio-visual learning media had a positive and significant influence on the learning outcomes of my pride area material in grade V students of SDI Tebuireng Abdul Wahid Hasyim.

Abstract

Penelitian ini mengkaji implementasi pendidikan multikultural dalam kegiatan ko kurikuler pramuka pada santri Pondok Pesantren Nurul Harmain Putra. Pendidikan multikultural bertujuan membentuk generasi yang toleran dan mampu hidup harmonis dalam keberagaman. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan metode pengumpulan data melalui wawancara, observasi, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa pelaksanaan pendidikan multikultural di pondok pesantren ini terintegrasi dalam berbagai kegiatan pramuka seperti perkemahan, pertukaran budaya, dan partisipasi internasional. Keberagaman santri dan pengajar menciptakan lingkungan yang kondusif untuk pembelajaran multikultural. Namun, implementasi ini menghadapi kendala, seperti keterbatasan sarana dan prasarana serta kurangnya pengawasan yang optimal. Penelitian ini menyoroti pentingnya dukungan penuh dari berbagai pihak untuk keberhasilan pendidikan multikultural
