Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the use of audio-visual media on the motivation and learning outcomes of civic education of grade IV students of SDN Bontoramba. This study uses a quantitative research type with an experimental approach with a quasi-experimental design or pseudo-experiment. The design used in this study is a quasi-experimental type of Nonequivalent Control Group Design. The research instruments used for data collection are observation, questionnaire sheets, learning outcome tests including pre-test and post-test and documentation. The data analysis techniques used include the first stage, namely data processing consisting of data classification, editing, coding, scoring and tabulation. The second stage is data analysis consisting of Normality Test, Homogeneity Test, Hypothesis Test, T-test and the third Manova Test. The results of the study showed that the use of audio-visual media significantly increased students' learning motivation. The average learning motivation of students in the experimental class was 86.64 while in the control class it was 78.09. In addition, student learning outcomes also increased. The average post-test learning outcomes in the experimental class were 86.29, while in the control class it was 75.80. The results of the study showed that the use of audio-visual media significantly increased students' motivation and learning outcomes compared to conventional methods. The learning motivation of students involved in this interactive learning process has a direct positive impact on their learning outcomes. Thus, audio-visual media is effectively applied in Civic Education learning to improve learning outcomes. The results of hypothesis testing using the Independent Sample Test showed a t-test of 0.034, meaning that the value is smaller than the significance level of 0.05 or 0.034 <0.05. Therefore, Ho is rejected and H1 is accepted, which means that the use of audio-visual media has a significant effect on students' motivation and learning outcomes compared to conventional learning methods in the control class.

Abstract

This research is motivated by students' lack of motivation to actively participate in mathematics learning in the classroom. Students find mathematics boring, making them less interested in actively contributing. An alternative solution to this problem is to implement interactive learning media such as wordwalls. This study aims to determine the effect of using wordwalls on student motivation in mathematics learning in third-grade students at the SPF Technical Implementation Unit (UPT SPF) at Gunung Sari 1 Public Elementary School. This research is a quantitative, quasi-experimental study. The method used is a non-equivalent control group design. The study involved two classes: a control class and an experimental class. The sample size was 41 students. Data collection techniques used a learning motivation questionnaire, observation sheets, and knowledge test sheets. Data analysis techniques used descriptive statistical analysis and inferential analysis. The results showed that the use of wordwalls on student motivation significantly increased. This was evident in the significant increase in the average learning motivation score of students in the experimental class before and after the wordwall implementation, from 54.5 to 85.09. Meanwhile, the average value of students' learning motivation in the control class using conventional learning, in the initial questionnaire test obtained 54.32 and the final questionnaire test obtained 69.11. Thus, the use of wordwall is said to have more influence on students' learning motivation compared to learning with conventional methods. The results of the hypothesis test using the Independent Sample T-Test also show that the significance value is 0.000 <0.05, which means the significance value is smaller than the predetermined alpha value of 0.05. Based on these results, it is concluded that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted, which states that there is an effect of the use of wordwall learning media on increasing students' learning motivation in class III UPT SPF SD Negeri Gunung Sari 1.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the persuasive writing skills of fourth-grade students at Minasa Upa State Elementary School in Makassar City through the Writing Picture learning model. The underlying problem is students' low persuasive writing skills, characterized by difficulty expressing ideas, constructing logical arguments, inappropriate word choice, and a lack of compelling, persuasive writing. The Writing Picture learning model was implemented as an effort to help students develop ideas through visual media, thus facilitating their ability to express their thoughts in writing with an appropriate composition structure. The study was conducted as a classroom action research (CAR). The subjects were 25 fourth-grade students at Minasa Upa State Elementary School in Makassar City. Data collection techniques included observation, testing (evaluation), and documentation. The results of the study indicate that the application of the Writing Picture learning model improved students' persuasive writing skills. The average student score increased from 61.6 in cycle I to 90.6 in cycle II. Furthermore, students' learning completion also increased from 40% to 100%.

Abstract

This study was driven by the low level of students critical thinking skills in elementary science learning, which is attributed to the continued use of conventional teaching methods that have not effectively fostered students higher order thinking. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of the problem based learning (PBL) model supported by augmented reality media on improving students critical thinking skills. A quantitative method was applied using a quasi-experimental design with two groups: an experimental class and a control class. A critical yhinking skills test was used as the instrument, consisting of five indicators: clarification, basis for decision-making or support, inference, further explanation, and strategy and tactics. Descriptive analysis showed that the experimental class average pre-test score was 35.14 (SD=11.491), indicating low initial understanding. After the intervantion, the post- test average increased to 54.55 (SD=11.544), showing a significant improvement of 19.41 points. Normality and homogenity tests confirmed that the data met statistical assumption. The paired sample T-test showed a significant difference between pre-test and posttest scores ( p < .001) and the N-Gain score reached 0.521 (moderate category), with an effectiveness rate of 52.1%. These results indicate that the problem based learning model assisted by augmented reality significantly enhances students critical thinking skills.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk merancang dan mengembangkan sebuah alat pengukur jarak berbasis sensor ultrasonik JSN-SR04T dalam bentuk penggaris digital yang mampu mengukur secara akurat dalam rentang 20 hingga 600 cm. Permasalahan pada alat ukur konvensional seperti keterbatasan jangkauan dan kebutuhan kontak langsung menjadi latar belakang penelitian ini. Sistem yang dikembangkan terdiri dari sensor JSN-SR04T, mikrokontroler Arduino Nano, layar OLED 0,96 inci, serta tombol "hold" untuk mengunci hasil pengukuran. Proses pengukuran dilakukan secara real-time, dan data ditampilkan langsung tanpa penyimpanan atau output suara. Pengujian dilakukan terhadap berbagai aspek, termasuk akurasi pengukuran, respon terhadap objek terlalu dekat, dan fungsionalitas tombol "hold". Hasil pengujian menunjukkan bahwa alat mampu mengukur dengan selisih sangat kecil (0,1–1,2 cm) dibandingkan jarak aktual dan merespon cepat dengan waktu 1,9–2,1 detik. Pada jarak kurang dari 20 cm, sistem memberikan peringatan “Terlalu Dekat”. Keakuratan sistem dibandingkan alat sejenis menunjukkan bahwa alat ini tidak hanya memiliki jangkauan lebih luas (hingga 600 cm) namun juga akurasi kompetitif (99,5–100%). Fitur tombol "hold" menjadi nilai tambah dalam meningkatkan kenyamanan pengguna. Dengan demikian, alat ini dinyatakan layak sebagai solusi efisien, praktis, dan akurat dalam pengukuran jarak berbasis teknologi digital, serta memiliki potensi implementasi luas di berbagai bidang pengukuran teknis.

Abstract

This study aims to (1) Develop teaching materials in the form of interesting and interactive E-Books on the content of science lessons for water cycle materials in grade V elementary schools, (2) Knowing the feasibility of Canva-based E-Books on the content of science lessons for water cycle materials in class V elementary schools. The rapid sophistication of technology requires teachers to use it in the learning process, one of which is to develop teaching materials. This research uses the Research and Development (R&D) method with the ADDIE (Analyze, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) development model. In the limited trial stage, students' responses to the "Excellent" e-book teaching materials were obtained by obtaining an overall average percentage result of 90.36%. Based on the results of research from expert validation and student responses, it can be concluded that the development of canva-based e-book teaching materials is very feasible and good for use in the learning process.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of Brand Ambassador and Social Media Marketing on Purchase Decisions of the NPURE brand, with Consumer Trust as a mediating variable among consumers who use NPURE products in the city of Surabaya. This research was conducted on NPURE brand consumers in Surabaya, with a sample size determined to be 100 respondents. Data collection was carried out through the distribution of questionnaires via Google Forms indirectly through social media. The data analysis technique used is the SEM-PLS method. Based on the analysis results, it was found that Brand Ambassador has a significant influence on Consumer Trust, Social Media Marketing has a significant influence on Consumer Trust, Consumer Trust has a significant influence on Purchase Decisions, Brand Ambassador has a significant influence on Purchase Decisions, Social Media Marketing has a significant influence on Purchase Decisions, Brand Ambassador has a significant influence on Purchase Decisions through Consumer Trust, and Social Media Marketing has a significant influence on Purchase Decisions through Consumer Trust.

Abstract

Pop pop up book is a type of three-dimensional book that shows paper elements that can move, stand up, or appear when the page is opened. However, at SDN Situpete, Bogor City, it is not yet varied. Therefore, in the learning process, it is necessary to develop learning media assisted by Qr Code so that learning becomes more interesting and varied. The study was aimed at developing and finding out the feasibility of Pop Up Book Media Assisted by Qr Code on Traditions and Culture of the Community Around Me. This study is a Research and Development (R&D) study with the ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, Evaluation) research method. The data collection technique in this study used an instrument sheet in the form of a questionnaire. Product testing was carried out by media experts, language experts, lecturer material experts and teacher material experts. The assessment results from media experts were 100%, language experts 100%, lecturer material experts 98.3%, and teacher material experts 96.6% which means it is very feasible to be implemented. and based on a limited trial conducted on 25 class IV A students, the percentage score was 97.0%, which means that the development of Pop Up Book Learning Media Assisted by QR Codes on the Traditions and Culture of the Community Around Me is very suitable for use in the learning process and can increase students' learning motivation.

Abstract

This study aims to determine the effect of the quiz team model on the motivation and mathematics learning outcomes of fifth grade students of SDN 18 Bontokadatto, Takalar Regency. The approach to this study is a quantitative approach with the type of Pre-Experimental Design research in the form of one group pretest-posttest. The subjects in this study were fifth grade students with a total of 15 students. The research instruments used in this study were observation sheets, learning outcome tests and motivation questionnaires. The data analysis techniques used were descriptive data analysis techniques and inferential data analysis. The results of the inferential statistical data analysis using the t-test, it is known that the t count value = 4.724 while the t table value = 1.671 at a significant level of ???? = 0.05. Based on these values, T count> T table is obtained, this means that H0 is rejected and H1 is accepted. From these results it is shown that there is an effect of the quiz team model on students' mathematics learning outcomes. On the student observation sheet during learning, there is a high level of learning activity for each indicator with an average percentage of 75% and on the student motivation questionnaire during learning, there are very positive respondents so that they have a high level of motivation with an average percentage of 80%. Based on these results, it can be concluded that there is an influence of the quiz team model on the motivation and mathematics learning outcomes of class V students of SDN 18 Bontokadatto, Takalar Regency

Abstract

This research is motivated by students who are lazy and often ignore the assigned school assignments. The purpose of this study is to determine the influence of family socioeconomic status on student learning achievement at SD Inpres Limbung, Bajeng District, Gowa Regency. This research is a quantitative study with an exploratory design analysis of the product moment correlation coefficient. The population in this study were 43 fifth grade students, the sample taken from class VA using a purposive sampling technique of 22 students consisting of 13 girls and 9 boys. Data were collected through questionnaires and documentation techniques. The results of this study indicate that the four indicators of family socioeconomic status have a significant relationship with student learning achievement. The level of education and type of parental employment contribute to student learning patterns and motivation, while family income and wealth influence the availability of learning facilities that support academic success. From the results of calculations using the product moment formula, the rxy value is greater than rtable at a significance level of 5% (0.933 > 0.444) and at a significance level of 1% (0.933 > 0.561). This means that there is a "very strong" positive correlation, so the proposed hypothesis, namely that there is an influence of family socio-economic status on the learning achievement of students in Bajeng District, Gowa Regency, is accepted.
