Abstract

This study aims to examine the significant role of Islamic econ omics in promoting tolerance and fostering peace within multicultural and religiously diverse societies. In the context of increasing global interconnectedness, conflicts based on religion, ethnicity, and culture remain major challenges to social stability. Using a descriptive qualitative approach and literature study, this research analyzes the core principles of Islamic economics such as justice, equality, public interest (maslahah), and mutual cooperation and how these principles can be applied to create an inclusive and fair economic system. The findings reveal that Islamic economics, by emphasizing universal moral values and prohibiting exploitative practices such as riba (usury), maisir (gambling), and gharar (excessive uncertainty), fosters transparent and mutually beneficial economic relationships among people of different faiths. These principles not only contribute to economic well-being but also serve as a bridge for enhancing interfaith tolerance and social harmony. Consequently, Islamic economics stands as a strategic tool for building a peaceful and cohesive society. The study recommends broader implementation of Islamic economic values to strengthen social cohesion in Indonesia’s pluralistic context. Abstract

Speaking skills are one of the fundamental competencies that are important to develop from an early age. Therefore, a learning model that encourages students to be active in the learning process is needed. This study aims to improve and enhance students' speaking skills through the implementation of the Student Active Learning (SAL) model in Grade III of Madrasah Ibtidaiyah Al-Abrar. The type of research used is classroom action research, which consists of two cycles, with each cycle carried out in three meetings. The procedure of this research consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 28 third-grade students at MI Al-Abrar. The results of this study show that in the first cycle, only 11 students, or around 39%, achieved the Minimum Mastery Criteria (MMC). However, in the second cycle, all 28 students, or 100%, met the MMC, and the class average also reached 100%, which is categorized as high. Based on the results of this study, it can be concluded that the implementation of the Student Active Learning model can improve the speaking skills of third-grade students at MI Al-Abrar.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of the Learning Cycle 5E model in reducing misconceptions among fourth-grade elementary students on the topic of force. The research employed a quasi-experimental method with a nonequivalent control group design. The participants consisted of 66 students: 33 students from SDN 1 Giriawas as the control group and 33 students from SDN 2 Giriawas as the experimental group. The research instrument was a multiple-choice test with the Certainty of Response Index (CRI) to identify students’ misconceptions. The results indicated that before the treatment, most students experienced misconceptions regarding force concepts. After applying the Learning Cycle 5E model, the number of misconceptions in the experimental class significantly decreased compared to the control class. The N-Gain test showed that the conceptual understanding improvement in the experimental group was in the medium category, while the control group was in the low category. Moreover, the independent sample t-test confirmed a significant difference between the two groups. Therefore, the Learning Cycle 5E model is proven effective in reducing misconceptions and can be recommended as an alternative instructional strategy for science learning in elementary schools.

Abstract

The development of Kinemaster-based audio visual media in science and science subjects in class V elementary school was motivated by the use of media or teaching materials that were not yet optimal and varied, there was no use of audio visual learning media based on Kinemaster in science subjects in class V elementary school, and student learning outcomes in There are still many science subjects which are below the criteria for achieving learning objectives (KKTP), which is 75. This research aims to develop Kinemaster-based audio visual media in science subjects for fifth grade elementary school to produce appropriate learning media and find out student learning outcomes after using audio media. Kinemaster based visuals. This research uses Research and Development using the ADDIE development model through 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation and evaluation. The subjects in this research were material experts, media experts, teachers and 28 class V students at UPT SPF SDN 106184 Sekip, Lubuk Pakam District. Data collection techniques in this research used observation, questionnaires, tests and documentation. Data analysis techniques are qualitative and quantitative descriptive analysis techniques. The results of the research show that the Kinemaster-based audio visual media product for grade V elementary school science subjects that has been developed and published via the YouTube application obtained a product validation data value, namely by material expert validators of 90.9% in the "Very feasible" category and by media expert validators of 90.9%. 98% in the "Very appropriate" category, and teacher response results of 96% in the "very appropriate" category. Student learning outcomes after using Kinemaster-based audio visual media obtained an N-Gain value of 0.4 in the "medium" category. Based on the results of the feasibility assessment, teacher responses, and student learning outcomes, it can be concluded that KineMaster-based audio visual media products for grade V elementary school science and science subjects are very feasible and good for use in learning to have a positive impact on student learning outcomes.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan menguraikan secara mendalam upaya guru Pendidikan Agama Islam (PAI) dalam mengurangi perilaku phubbing pada siswa SMAN 2 Palangkaraya. Menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif, data diperoleh melalui observasi partisipatif, wawancara mendalam dengan guru PAI, siswa, dan wakil kepala sekolah bidang kurikulum, serta dokumentasi. Analisis data menggunakan model interaktif Miles dan Huberman, meliputi reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan, dengan keabsahan data dijamin melalui triangulasi sumber, triangulasi metode, dan member check. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru PAI menerapkan strategi terstruktur yang mencakup perencanaan dengan kesepakatan penggunaan gawai dan alur pembelajaran, pelaksanaan berbasis pembelajaran kontekstual, kreatif, dan adaptif, serta evaluasi interaktif menggunakan teknologi. Dukungan sekolah berupa fasilitas pembelajaran modern, pelatihan inovasi, dan kebijakan fleksibel turut memperkuat efektivitas strategi tersebut. Pendekatan ini tidak hanya menurunkan intensitas phubbing , tetapi juga meningkatkan motivasi belajar, keterlibatan siswa, dan suasana kelas yang positif. Penelitian ini diharapkan menjadi rujukan bagi pendidik dan institusi pendidikan dalam mengatasi phubbing di era digital.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of the Problem Based Learning model on students' creative thinking skills in Natural and Social Science subjects in elementary schools. The research method used a Quantitative Quasi Experiment with a Non-Equivalent Control Group design. Research data was collected through pretest and posttest, followed by data analysis, Hypotheses were analyzed using the Independent Sample t-test and N-gain test. The results of the study indicate a significant increase in the creative thinking abilities of students in the experimental class who received learning using the Problem-Based Learning model, achieving an average N-gain score of 79.6 (high category), while the control class, which received teacher-centered learning, only achieved 30.6 (low category). Also, the Independent Sample t-test produced a significance value of < 0.001 in the posttest results, indicating a significant difference between the two classes after the treatment. Thus, it can be concluded that the Problem-Based Learning model has a positive effect on improving the creative thinking skills of elementary school students in the Natural and Social Science subject.

Abstract

Rendahnya prestasi akademik Matematika peserta didik kelas IV di SDN 08 Sungai Raya menunjukkan kebutuhan akan inovasi pengajaran. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk memahami dampak dari model pembelajaran kooperatif tipe STAD terhadap hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode eksperimen, dengan desain quasi experimental nonequivalent control group. Teknik pengumpulan informasi dilakukan dengan cara mengamati pelaksanaan sintaks pembelajaran serta melaksanakan tes sebelum dan sesudah pembelajaran. Proses analisis data dilakukan dengan menguji normalitas, homogenitas, dan juga melakukan uji-t’. Pengujian hipotesis dilakukan menggunakan uji independent sample t-test dengan asumsi varians tidak sama (equal variances not assumed). Hasil uji menunjukkan nilai Sig. (2-tailed) sebesar 0,000. Artinya Ha diterima dan H0 ditolak. Rata-rata hasil posttest untuk kelas eksperimen mencapai 81,4, lebih unggul dibandingkan posttest kelas kontrol yang hanya 66,96, KKM yang ditetapkan adalah 67.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze rhythmic learning in fourth-grade elementary school classes, including its implementation, the obstacles encountered, and alternative solutions to improve its effectiveness. The background of this research is based on the fact that rhythm is a fundamental aspect of music education, playing a vital role in developing students’ concentration, motor coordination, discipline, and collaborative skills. Nevertheless, rhythmic learning practices in elementary schools still face various challenges, including teachers’ limited competence in music, a lack of diverse teaching methods, and insufficient supporting learning media. This research employed a descriptive qualitative approach with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation studies involving teachers and fourth-grade elementary students. Data analysis was conducted through the stages of data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The findings revealed that rhythmic learning in fourth grade is largely implemented through lectures and repetitive drills, with little engaging variation. The main obstacles identified include teachers’ difficulties in explaining rhythmic notation concepts, the limited availability of simple musical instruments, and students’ low motivation to participate actively. Based on these findings, alternative solutions are required, such as the application of more contextual and enjoyable learning methods for example, game-based approaches, body percussion, or the Orff method, which integrates music, movement, and collaborative activities. Such approaches are considered effective in enhancing students’ engagement, rhythmic concept comprehension, and interest in music learning. In conclusion, this analysis provides an important contribution to the development of rhythmic learning strategies in elementary schools, making them more effective, creative, and meaningful.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam meningkatkan keterampilan membaca nyaring siswa kelas II di SDN Purwosari 01 Kabupaten Kudus. Penelitian dilakukan dengan metode kualitatif menggunakan teknik triangulasi dalam pengumpulan data, meliputi observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa guru menerapkan beberapa strategi, seperti pemilihan bacaan sesuai kemampuan siswa, penerapan membaca berulang, pemberian contoh membaca yang benar (teacher modeling), pemberian umpan balik positif, penggunaan media yang menarik, pembelajaran berpasangan, serta pembiasaan membaca di rumah dengan pendampingan orang tua. Strategi-strategi tersebut terbukti dapat meningkatkan kelancaran membaca, ketepatan lafal, intonasi, dan rasa percaya diri siswa. Temuan ini sejalan dengan Teori Scaffolding Vygotsky, Teori Behaviorisme Skinner yang menekankan pentingnya dukungan bertahap, penguatan perilaku melalui pengulangan, serta representasi visual dalam pembelajaran. Dengan demikian, strategi yang diterapkan guru akan efektif apabila dilaksanakan secara konsisten, terintegrasi, dan melibatkan kolaborasi antara guru, siswa, dan orang tua.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the implementation of the project-based learning method in improving the critical reading skills of fifth-grade students at SDN No. 166 Inpres Bontorita, Takalar Regency. The research was conducted in two cycles, each consisting of the stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of the study were 24 fifth-grade students. The research instruments included a critical reading skills test, observation sheets, and a project assessment rubric. The results of the study showed that the percentage of students’ mastery in cycle I was 47.83%, which then significantly increased to 91% in cycle II. This improvement covered the ability to identify main ideas, distinguish between facts and opinions, draw conclusions from the text, and provide logical responses. The success was influenced by students’ active engagement in the learning process, the relevance of the material to everyday life, and the high motivation generated by the opportunity to publish their work. Therefore, the PjBL method is effective in enhancing the critical reading skills of fifth-grade students and can serve as an alternative learning strategy that encourages active participation and critical thinking.
