Abstract

This research is an R&D (Research and Development) development research that aims to determine the results of the validity and practicality of the developed media and test the effectiveness of digital flipbook learning media to improve understanding of Natural Sciences (IPA) concepts in grade IV students at MI Al-Adli Palembang. This research is based on the lack of maximum understanding of students' concepts in science subjects, especially on material changes in the form of objects due to the use of learning media that are less interactive and interesting. This research uses the ADDIE development model which consists of 5 stages, namely analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The research instruments used included expert validation sheets involving lecturers as media and language experts, student questionnaires for practicality tests involving 24 students of class IV B as samples, as well as pre-test and post test learning outcomes tests for effectiveness tests. The results of the study show that the digital flipbook learning media developed is very valid with a percentage score of 88% media experts, 86% linguists and 92% material experts. The students' response to the practicality of the media was very practical with a percentage score of 88.13%. and the results of the pre test and post test with the effective category were obtained with a percentage of 80.07%. Thus, the digital learning media of flipbooks is suitabel for use as an interactive learning media in madrasah ibtidaiyah

Abstract

Mathematics teaching materials used by teachers in learning are still in the form ofprinted books, namely LKS (Student Worksheets) and textbooks. As a result,students feel that the learning process is boring and monotonous. Therefore, it isimportant to have innovative forms of teaching materials integrated with technologyto make learning more interactive and increasingly accessible. This study aims todesign an e-module with the theme of Srawung Pasar Tambak using a GuidedInquiry Learning Model on valid Social Arithmetic material. This study uses theResearch and Development (RnD) research method with the ADDIE developmentmodel limited to the development stage. Data analysis techniques used includeneeds analysis, validation analysis of material experts and media experts. Thisstudy produced an e-module design along with e-module validation results frommedia experts with an average score of 3.9, categorized as very valid, and materialexperts with an average score of 3.9, categorized as very valid. The averagecombined e-module assessment from media experts and material experts obtaineda score of 3.9, categorized as very valid. This indicates that the e-module design issuitable for testing with students during the learning process.

Abstract

Mental health is becoming an increasingly important issue in modern life, where social, economic, and cultural pressures affect individual well-being. Islamic Da'wah has a significant role in shaping emotional and psychological balance through the approach of spirituality, worship, and Islamic values. This article aims to examine the role of Islamic da'wah in improving mental health through a qualitative method with a literature study approach. The results show that da'wah that emphasizes the values of faith, tawakal, and dhikr can help reduce levels of stress, anxiety, and depression. In addition, the role of Islamic scholars and communities in providing spiritual guidance is proven to have a positive effect on the psychological well-being of individuals. Therefore, mental health-based da'wah can be a solution in dealing with psychological problems in modern society

Abstract

This literature study analyzes da’wah strategies in the context of cultural acculturation, based on two journals: “Javanese Cultural Acculturation as a Da’wah Strategy” and “Muhammadiyah’s Cultural Da’wah Strategy in the Mappogau Hanua Ritual of the Karampuang Community in Sinjai.” The first journal discusses the process of Javanese cultural transformation, which is divided into three historical phases: the pre-Hindu-Buddhist period, the Hindu-Buddhist period, and the arrival of Islam. During the Islamization phase, it is evident that da’wah was carried out through a local cultural approach. Cultural media such as arts, oral traditions, and customary symbols were utilized to convey Islamic teachings, resulting in a cultural synthesis rich in religious values while remaining rooted in local identity. Meanwhile, the second journal highlights the da’wah approach undertaken by Muhammadiyah in Karampuang, South Sulawesi. In this context, Muhammadiyah did not immediately reject the traditional Mappogau Hanua ritual but instead sought to understand it, then gradually reconstruct these practices to be more aligned with Islamic teachings. This strategy was accompanied by community empowerment through education, healthcare, and collaboration within the traditional governance structure. As a result, a gradual yet consistent change in the mindset and behavior of the community took place. Both studies emphasize the importance of cultural and contextual da’wah. Adjusting da’wah methods to local cultural characteristics has proven effective in fostering an inclusive, non-confrontational, and sustainable process of Islamization. The cultural differences between the Javanese and South Sulawesi communities further enrich our understanding of the diverse da’wah strategies that can be applied within Indonesia’s cultural plurality. Abstract

Rendahnya minat siswa untuk belajar IPS yang berakibat pada rendahnya hasil akhir peserta didik dalam kegiatan pembelajaran menjadi alasan yang mendasari lahirnya penelitian ini. Subyek penerima tindakan adalah siswa kelas IX F SMP Negeri 1 Cibogo Tahun Pelajaran 2017/2018 yang berjumlah 34 siswa, sementara subyek pelaksana adalah peneliti. Jenis penelitian ini adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) . Tehnik pengumpulan data yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah lembar observasi, catatan dilapangan pada waktu melaksanakan tindakan, lembar wawancara, lembar penilaian individu setelah mengikuti pelajaran. Prosedur dalam penelitian ini ada empat tahap yaitu perencanaan, pelaksanaan, pengamatan dan refleksi. Penelitian ini dilakukan dengan dua siklus dimana tiap siklus dilakukan dalam dua kali pertemuan yang dilakukan untuk memperoleh data peningkatan aktivitas dalam pembelajaran IPS siswa. Hasil penelitian pembelajaran ini menunjukan bahwa sebelum adanya tindakan di peroleh rata-rata tingkat aktivitas siswa sebesar 14%. Pada siklus 1 tingkat rata-rata aktivitas siswa meningkat menjadi 41%. Pada siklus II tingkat rata-rata aktivitas siswa meningkat menjadi 79%. Berdasarkan data hasil Tindakan Penelitian Kelas tersebut maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa dengan penerapan model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TGT dapat meningkatkan hasil pembelajaran IPS pada materi Negara Maju dan Negara Berkembang di kelas IX F SMP Negeri 1 Cibogo Tahun pelajaran 2017/2018. Hal ini karena Model pembelajaran Kooperatif Tipe TGT mengandung unsur permainan sehingga dapat meningkatkan aktivitas belajar siswa baik secara kognitif, afektif, maupun psikomotorik.

Nindian Afsani, Merly. 2023. “Pengaruh Metode Pembelajaran Cognitive Growth Tutor Sebaya Dengan Media Flashcard Ditinjau Dari Gaya Belajar Siswa Terhadap Kemampuan Membaca.” Tesis Pembimbing: (1) Dr. Sumarno, M.Pd.; (2) Dr. Ngatmini, M.Pd Model pembelajaran merupakan salah satu komponen penting yang digunakan dalam kegiatan pembelajaran. Model pembelajaran yang baik dapat membantu peserta didik dalam mencapai tujuan kompetensinya. Model pembelajaran yang digunakan dalam mata pelajaran Bahasa Indonesia masih kurang optimal. Model dan media yang digunakan . Berdasarkan data prapenelitian, menunjukkan bahwa guru belum menggunakan model pembelajaraan yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Guru hanya menggunakan bahan ajar buku tematik kelaas II yang besumber dari kemendikbud. Guru hanya memberikan pembelajaran yang konvensional sehingga siswa yang belum dapat membaca merasa jenuh dan bosan mengikuti pembelajaran. Sehingga peneliti perlu menerapkan model pembelajaran yang sesuai dibantu dengan media ajar yang sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui kemampuan membaca siswa dengan metode Cognitive Growth tutor sebaya dengan media Flashcard ditinjau dari gaya belajar siswa. Serta menguji hubungan model pembelajaran cognitive growth tutor sebaya dengan media flashcard. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian mixed method (kuantitatif dan kualitatif). Teknik pengumpulan dilaksanakan dengan tes, observasi, dokumentasi. Teknik analisis data menggunakan analisis data awal dan analisis data akhir, uji anava, uji korelasi dan uji regresi. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan model pembelajaran cognitive growth tutor sebaya dengan media flashcard layak digunakan dengn hasil uji regresi Dari perhitungan diketahui bahwa besarnya nilai R Square adalah 0,049 atau 49%. Dapat disimpulkan bahwa besarnya presentase pengaruh variabel bebas terhadap variabel terikat adalah sebesar 49%, sedangkan sisanya dipengaruhi oleh variabel lain di luar penelitian. Simpulan bahwa model pembelajaran cognitive growth tutor sebaya dengan media flashcard efektif digunakan untuk meningkatkan kemampuan membaca. Hasil belajar siswa yang mengalami peningkatan dapat dilihat pada nilai pretest yang telah dilakukan yaitu 53,91 dan rata-rata nilai posttest sebesar 77,83. Guru diharapkaan dapat mengembangkaan model pembelajaran agar pembelajaran menjadi menyenangkan kan siswa berantusias , serta pihak sekolah diharapkan dapat memfasilitasi. Kata kunci: cognitive growth, flashcard, membaca.

Abstract

Technological developments occur in various sectors, including education. Teachers are expected to utilize existing technology to enhance 21st-century skills, one of which is critical thinking. Based on the results of interviews conducted at four schools in Panyingkiran District, the learning process in the classroom has not fully utilized technology. Teachers still use outdated methods and rely on textbooks provided by the government, which results in students having low critical thinking skills. This study aims to develop teaching materials that can improve critical thinking skills of students. This study uses a 4D research model with four stages: Define, Design, Develop and Disseminate. The results of the validation test obtained a very valid category. Furthermore, based on the results of the assessment by teachers and students, this teaching material is very practical to use in the learning process. Meanwhile, the results of student tests on the developed teaching materials indicate the effectiveness of the use of BEBASIN teaching materials. Therefore, it can be concluded that this BEBASIN teaching material is suitable for use in learning social sciences content of the history of kingdoms in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effect of interactive learning media on elementary school students’ understanding of map concepts. The method used was a quasi-experimental design with a nonequivalent control group. Data were collected through pre-test and post-test, then analyzed using normality test, homogeneity test, independent sample t-test, and N-Gain calculation. The results of the normality test showed that the pre-test in the experimental class had a significance value of 0.079 and the control class 0.154, while in the post-test the experimental class was 0.052 and the control class 0.128. All values were greater than 0.05, indicating that the data were normally distributed. The homogeneity test also showed homogeneous data with a significance value of 0.592 for the pre-test and 0.728 for the post-test. The average post-test score in the experimental class was 90.12, higher than the control class with 81.48. The N-Gain average of the experimental class was 81.19 categorized as high and very effective, while the control class reached 68.83 categorized as moderate and fairly effective. The independent sample t-test produced a significance value of 0.000, indicating a significant difference between the two groups. Thus, interactive learning media is more effective than conventional learning in improving students’ understanding of map concepts

Abstract

Penelitian ini dilatarbelakangi oleh pentingnya pengembangan kecerdasan naturalis pada anak usia dini sebagai salah satu kecerdasan majemuk yang berperan dalam menumbuhkan kepedulian terhadap lingkungan. Observasi awal di TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Bengkulu menunjukkan bahwa penggunaan sentra bahan alam cukup aktif sehingga menarik minat peneliti untuk melakukan penelitian. Tujuan penelitian ini adalah mendeskripsikan strategi guru dalam mengembangkan kecerdasan naturalis anak melalui sentra bahan alam serta mengidentifikasi faktor pendukung dan penghambat pelaksanaannya. Metode penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif deskriptif dengan teknik pengumpulan data melalui observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian adalah anak kelompok B beserta guru pendamping. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa strategi guru mencakup tiga tahap, yaitu: (1) perencanaan berupa penyusunan modul ajar, penetapan capaian pembelajaran, dan penyiapan media berbasis bahan alam; (2) pelaksanaan berupa pembelajaran luar ruang, field trip, kegiatan bercocok tanam, dan pembiasaan mencintai lingkungan; serta (3) evaluasi yang dilakukan melalui observasi perkembangan anak. Faktor pendukung strategi ini antara lain ketersediaan bahan alam, kreativitas guru, dukungan orang tua, serta lingkungan yang kondusif. Adapun faktor penghambat meliputi cuaca yang tidak menentu dan variasi minat anak. Kesimpulannya, strategi guru melalui sentra bahan alam terbukti efektif dalam menstimulasi kecerdasan naturalis anak usia 5–6 tahun di TK Negeri Pembina 1 Kota Bengkulu.

Abstract

This study aims to investigate the development of interactive teaching materials using Articulate Storyline 3 to be implemented for fourth-grade students at SDIT As-salaam, as well as to assess the feasibility and effectiveness of these interactive teaching materials in the learning process conducted at the school. The research method used is Research and Development with the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). In this study, validation tests were conducted by experts, including media experts, language experts, and two material experts. The validation results showed that the media expert gave a score of 100% with a very feasible category, the language expert scored 92% with a very feasible category, material expert 1 scored 90% with a very feasible category, and material expert 2 scored 98% with a very feasible category. Student response questionnaires obtained a score of 94% with a very feasible category, and the average N-Gain score of learning outcomes was 0.77 with a very high category. These results indicate that the interactive teaching materials using Articulate Storyline 3 are very feasible for use in the learning process and are highly effective in improving student learning outcomes.
