Abstract

ABSTRACT The epistemological study of the philosophy of science regarding Artificial Intelligence (AI) as a source of knowledge has become important as technological developments influence the way knowledge is produced and validated in contemporary scientific practice. The main problem in this study is the epistemological position of artificial intelligence as a source of knowledge and the shifts in the concept of truth that it causes. This study aims to analyze the position of artificial intelligence as a source of knowledge from the perspective of the epistemology of the philosophy of science and identify epistemological shifts in the digital era. This study uses a qualitative approach with library research and a philosophical approach that focuses on epistemological analysis. Data were obtained from various relevant scientific literature and analyzed using descriptive-interpretive and critical-reflective techniques. The results show that artificial intelligence has a position as an entity involved in the process of knowledge production, but cannot be categorized as a legitimate source of knowledge as a whole because it lacks awareness, understanding of meaning, and reflective ability in the process of justifying truth. In addition, the development of artificial intelligence has given rise to an epistemological shift from knowledge based on causal explanations to knowledge based on predictions and operational effectiveness, which has resulted in changes in the criteria of truth and the emergence of epistemological problems such as justification crises, data bias, and algorithmic opacity.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the community's role in improving environmental cleanliness around the Palem Raya Village Landfill (TPA) in Ogan Ilir Regency using a descriptive qualitative approach. Seven informants participated in the study, and data were collected through interviews, observation, and documentation. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, presentation, and triangulation. The results indicate that community contributions are still suboptimal. Material participation is voluntary, non-material participation is still individual, action participation is limited to household cleanliness, and social participation is low due to the lack of collective activities by the village government. Thus, community contributions tend to be passive, and efforts are needed to increase more active and organized participation.

Abstract

The ISPS Code is a mandatory global standard aimed at mitigating maritime security risks, including Threats of terrorism and criminal activities on board ships. Although this regulation has been implemented, the increasing number of theft cases involving technical inventory and passengers’ belongings on vessels in Indonesia, including a theft incident on MV. Leuser in October 2025, indicates existing gaps in security procedures and monitoring controls while the ship is sailing and when it is berthed at high-risk ports. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through interviews, observations, and documentation. The data were analyzed using SWOT analysis to examine the Strengths, Weaknesses, opportunities, and Threats in the implementation of the ISPS Code on MV. Leuser.. The results show that the implementation of the ISPS Code on MV. Leuser complies with international standards, as reflected in the approved Ship Security Plan (SSP), restricted access to sensitive areas, gangway inspections, and the integration of surveillance systems. However, several technical Weaknesses were identified, including areas not covered by CCTV, insufficient nighttime lighting, and internal communication disruptions. Optimization efforts include strengthening coordination with port authorities and security agencies, utilizing more advanced surveillance technology, improving lighting facilities, and enhancing the quality and variation of Crew training.

Abstract

This study, titled “The Effectiveness of the National Health Insurance (JKN) Mobile Application in Improving Public Services at RSUD Prof. Dr. H. Aloei Saboe, Gorontalo City,” aims to analyze the effectiveness of the JKN Mobile application in enhancing public service quality in the healthcare sector. The research uses a descriptive qualitative approach with data collection methods including observation, interviews, and documentation. The findings show that the implementation of the JKN Mobile application has been effective and has positively contributed to improving public services, particularly in terms of easier access to services, time efficiency, and greater transparency in healthcare delivery. The application also reflects the principles of public service oriented toward citizens in line with the New Public Service perspective. Although there are challenges such as differences in digital literacy among users and occasional technical issues, these do not significantly reduce the overall effectiveness of the service. Instead, they are considered part of the ongoing process of improving the digital system. Overall, the JKN Mobile application has strong potential to be further developed with continuous support from the hospital and BPJS Kesehatan to ensure more optimal and sustainable healthcare services.

Abstract

This research is motivated by the low numeracy skills of students in the multiplication material shown from the results of the pre-research, where most of the students have not reached the Minimum Completeness Criteria (KKM). This study aims to determine the influence of the Student Teams Achievement Division (STAD) type cooperative learning model with the help of Wayground learning media on the numeracy skills of grade IV students at Wahana Harapan Bangsa Private Elementary School Singkawang. This study uses a quantitative approach with a pre-experimental method through a one group pretest-posttest design. The research sample amounted to 14 students who were selected using saturated sampling techniques. The instruments used were in the form of numeracy skills tests (pretest and posttest) and student response questionnaires. The data analysis technique used the normality test and the paired sample t-test. The results showed that there was an increase in students' numeracy skills after the application of the STAD model with Wayground media, which was shown by the average score of the posttest was higher than the pretest and the results of the statistical test showed a significant influence. In addition, students' responses to learning are classified as very positive in terms of attention, relevance, satisfaction, and confidence. Thus, it can be concluded that the application of the STAD-type cooperative learning model with Wayground media has a significant effect on improving students' numeracy skills in multiplication materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menilai kelayakan finansial secara komprehensif dan merumuskan strategi pengembangan usaha mikro kuliner, dengan studi kasus pada Warung Bakso Mas Ronggo di Medan. Pendekatan deskriptif kuantitatif dengan desain studi kasus digunakan. Data dikumpulkan melalui observasi lapangan, wawancara mendalam dengan pemilik, dan dokumentasi, serta dilengkapi data sekunder dari BPS Medan dan literatur terkait. Analisis kelayakan finansial menggunakan Net Present Value (NPV), Profitability Index (PI), Payback Period (PP), dan Break-Even Point (BEP), sedangkan analisis strategis menggunakan SWOT. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan seluruh indikator finansial melampaui batas kelayakan: PI sebesar 2,39 (>1), Payback Period sekitar 5,02 bulan (<1 tahun), laba bersih bulanan Rp49.777.500, dan BEP sekitar Rp56.400.000 per bulan, jauh di bawah proyeksi pendapatan Rp139.500.000. Analisis SWOT mengungkap kekuatan strategis pada lokasi, harga, dan konsistensi produk. Disimpulkan bahwa Warung Bakso Mas Ronggo layak secara finansial dan layak dijalankan. Rekomendasi utama meliputi optimalisasi pemasaran digital melalui media sosial dan platform pesan-antar, penambahan variasi menu secara berkala, serta penerapan sistem manajemen keuangan digital yang terstruktur

Abstract

School cooperatives play a strategic role as a medium for economic learning that supports the development of entrepreneurial character, independence, and responsibility among students. However, in practice, the management of school cooperatives still faces various challenges, including low member participation, limited business innovation, and suboptimal organizational performance. This study aims to analyze the role of transformational leadership in improving the performance of school cooperatives through a literature review approach from the perspective of educational management. The method used is a literature study by reviewing relevant scientific sources such as journals, books, and previous research findings. The results indicate that transformational leadership contributes to improving cooperative performance by strengthening motivation, commitment, and member participation, as well as encouraging innovation and adaptive organizational culture. In addition, transformational leadership plays a role in building a shared vision and enhancing organizational effectiveness. Therefore, transformational leadership can be considered a relevant strategy to optimize the performance of school cooperatives.

Abstract

This article aims to analyze the disconnection between teacher professionalism policies and the empirical reality of education in Indonesia. Although various policy instruments such as certification and Teacher Professional Education (PPG) have been implemented as quality assurance efforts, pedagogical and professional competence in the field often still show stagnation. Using a qualitative method through literature study and phenomenological analysis, this research explores the structural factors that hinder professionalism, including: the asynchrony of the LPTK curriculum with classroom needs, and the low economic welfare of honorary teachers who are below the Regional Minimum Wage (UMR) standard. The results of the analysis show that low wages force teachers to fragment their focus to seek side income for survival, which in turn reduces competency standards to mere administrative formalities. This article concludes that true professionalism cannot be achieved without synchronization between competency demands and guarantees of decent living welfare.

Abstract

This study aims to evaluate the role of educational leadership in supporting the process of archive digitization in order to improve the speed and accuracy of administrative services in schools. The method used is a literature review, which examines various academic sources such as journals, books, and relevant articles. Data were collected through reading, note-taking, and organizing information, and then analyzed using a qualitative descriptive approach.The findings indicate that archive digitization can enhance the efficiency of administrative services by providing easier access to information. In addition, digital systems contribute to improving data accuracy and reducing the risk of errors and data loss commonly found in manual systems. However, the successful implementation of archive digitization largely depends on educational leadership. Leaders who are responsive to technological advancements play a crucial role in guiding the use of digital systems, encouraging innovation, and fostering a positive work culture toward change. Leadership support is also essential in improving human resource readiness to effectively utilize technology. Therefore, archive digitization and educational leadership are closely interconnected in improving the quality of administrative services in schools, making them faster, more accurate, and more efficient in line with the demands of the digital era.

Abstract

Prehypertension is a condition in which blood pressure is elevated but has not yet reached the threshold for hypertension, with systolic pressure of 120–139 mmHg and diastolic pressure of 80–89 mmHg. Based on data from the Jambi Provincial Health Office in 2024, hypertension ranked second among the top 10 diseases, accounting for 23.21% of cases in individuals aged over 15 years. A preliminary survey conducted among 20 students of the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Jambi, found that 8 students (40.0%) had prehypertension and 1 student (5.0%) had hypertension. This study employed a quantitative approach with an analytic observational method using a cross-sectional design. The population consisted of students from various study programs at the Faculty of Medicine and Health Sciences, Universitas Jambi, from the 2023, 2024, and 2025 cohorts. A total of 176 respondents were selected using stratified random sampling. Data were analyzed using the Chi-square test with a significance level of α = 0.05. The results of the study showed that there was a relationship between nutritional status (p=0.0001), sodium intake (p=0.0001), stress conditions (p=0.046), sleep apnea (p=0.0001), and gender (p=0.023) with the incidence of prehypertension. There are significant associations between nutritional status, sodium intake, stress condition, sleep apnea, and sex with the incidence of prehypertension.
