Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis kelayakan bisnis café kekinian berbasis digital dengan studi kasus Pink Chilling Medan. Metode yang digunakan adalah literatur review sistematis, dengan sumber data terdiri dari jurnal nasional, jurnal internasional, buku/teori klasik, serta regulasi resmi seperti OSS RBA dan UU Cipta Kerja. Analisis dilakukan terhadap aspek pasar, teknis, manajemen, finansial, hukum, dan teknologi, serta dilengkapi dengan sintesis literatur yang menghubungkan fenomena lokal dengan teori global. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Pink Chilling layak dikembangkan sebagai café kekinian karena segmentasi pasar yang jelas pada usia 18–35 tahun dengan daya beli sesuai, lokasi strategis di kawasan Pancing, fasilitas modern, serta tenaga kerja muda yang adaptif. Legalitas usaha melalui OSS RBA dan kepatuhan terhadap regulasi pajak serta ketenagakerjaan memperkuat keberlanjutan usaha. Pemanfaatan teknologi digital melalui Instagram, TikTok, sistem kasir digital, dan rencana layanan online menjadi faktor kunci dalam membangun brand awareness dan loyalitas pelanggan. Aspek finansial menunjukkan proyeksi penjualan yang stabil, arus kas positif, dan kemampuan mencapai titik impas dalam waktu relatif singkat. Analisis SWOT menegaskan kekuatan Pink Chilling pada lokasi strategis dan produk variatif, peluang dari tren kuliner anak muda dan dukungan UMKM, serta ancaman berupa persaingan ketat dan fluktuasi harga bahan baku. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa keberhasilan Pink Chilling ditentukan oleh kombinasi digital marketing dan legalitas OSS RBA, serta merekomendasikan diversifikasi produk, penguatan branding digital, optimalisasi OSS RBA, dan kolaborasi dengan komunitas kampus serta UMKM lokal.

Abstract

The captain is the highest leader on board a ship who plays an important role in managing, directing, and supervising all operational activities of the ship. In order for the work process to run optimally, a leadership style that can effectively encourage the performance of the crew is needed. This study aims to analyze the captain's leadership style and how it supports the performance of crew members during the execution of tasks on the MV Kairos Jaya 8 ship. This study used a qualitative descriptive method with data collection techniques in the form of observations made by the researcher during the study, interviews conducted with the captain, chief officer, and crew, as well as supporting documentation obtained during the researcher's PRALA implementation on MV Kairos Jaya 8. Data analysis was carried out using Fish Bone Analysis to identify the root causes The results of research conducted during sea practice (PRALA) show that the captain's leadership style greatly affects the quality of crew work, especially in terms of communication, discipline, and completion of daily tasks. It was found that inconsistency in giving instructions, lack of a persuasive approach, and poor two-way communication can lead to delays in work and decreased crew motivation. Conversely, when the captain applies a more democratic and supportive leadership style, the crew shows a significant improvement in performance, as seen in the accuracy of task execution and increased coordination among crew members

Abstract

Cargo hold preparation is an important factor in supporting the smooth implementation of cargo handling operations on board. Based on the results of Sea Practice conducted on MV. Kairos Jaya 8, it was found that cargo hold preparation had not been carried out optimally. The problems identified included delays in cleaning the cargo hold, lack of supervision from officers, inconsistent use of inspection checklists, and unstructured task distribution. This study aims to analyze the factors causing the suboptimal cargo hold preparation and to formulate improvement efforts that can be implemented. The research method used was descriptive qualitative, with data collected through direct observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that the absence of a systematic Standard Operating Procedure (SOP), lack of coordination among crew members, and weak supervision were the main factors. Improvement efforts include developing and implementing SOPs, applying cargo hold readiness checklists, clarifying task distribution, and strengthening officer supervision.

Abstract

Shipping is an integral part of the national maritime transportation system and serves as a vital means of supporting the achievement of national development goals. According to the International Maritime Organization (IMO) 2019, passenger ships—including Roll-on/Roll-off (Ro-Ro) passenger ships—are required to utilize all available navigation aids, such as radar and ARPA, to conduct effective surveillance and assess the risk of collision. This study employs a descriptive qualitative method, with informants selected through purposive sampling, namely the Captain, First Mate, Second Mate, Third Mate, and Helmsman. Data were collected through interviews, observations, and documentation using interview and observation checklists. Data analysis was conducted through data reduction, fishbone diagrams, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study indicate that the effectiveness of Radar and ARPA usage on the KMP. Wira Berlian is influenced by human, methodological, equipment, measurement, and environmental factors, including the vigilance of the officer on watch, radar configuration procedures, component condition, CPA/TCPA monitoring, as well as weather and vessel traffic density

Abstract

One of the fundamental aspects of an organization is the success of leadership. Reality shows that leadership is not solely determined by innate traits, but also by social context, experience, and interaction with the environment. Therefore, a critical review is needed to reassess the relevance of trait theory in the context of contemporary leadership. This study is a descriptive study that employs a literature review method using data sources such as books, journals, and documents relevant to the topic. The findings indicate that trait theory in leadership positions individual characteristics as the primary factor in a leader’s effectiveness; the existence of normative standards regarding the ideal leader is linked to specific social contexts; there is a connection between trait-based approaches and limited access to leadership positions; and there is a shift away from focusing exclusively on individual traits. Furthermore, a leader’s focus on privilege can reinforce inequality and hinder the creation of inclusive and equitable leadership.

Abstract

The digital era has transformed the leadership paradigm in Early Childhood Education (ECE) institutions, requiring principals to not only act as administrative managers but also as agents of technology-based transformation. This study aims to analyze how technology can serve as the basis for ECE leadership in an effort to enhance teacher professionalism and strengthen transformational leadership character. The method used is library research with a qualitative approach, analyzing five main journals and two supporting books. The results show that technology as the basis for ECE leadership encompasses three main strategies: improving teachers' digital competence through IT-based principal management, utilizing Artificial Intelligence (AI) for operational efficiency and strengthening children's disciplinary character, as well as adaptive and visionary digital leadership. The implementation of AI has been proven to increase operational efficiency by 61.54% and reduce data errors by 80%. The main challenges include infrastructure limitations, low digital literacy among parents, resistance to change, and budget constraints. In conclusion, technology is not merely a tool but a strategic foundation for transformational ECE leadership that enhances teacher professionalism and shapes children's character from an early age.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of educational leadership in digital archives management, particularly in addressing the issues of lost archives and disorganized data in the digital era. This research employs a qualitative approach using a literature review method. The findings reveal that digital archival management faces complex challenges, including the risk of archive loss, data disorganization and duplication, low human resource competence, weak information security systems, and suboptimal policies and standard operating procedures. In this context, educational leadership plays a strategic role in directing policies, improving digital literacy, and integrating technology-based archival systems. Strategic efforts include implementing digital archive management systems, systematic use of metadata, strengthening information security, and developing integrated policies. Therefore, educational leadership is a key factor in achieving effective, efficient, and sustainable digital archive management. Abstract

Leadership in the education sector plays a crucial role in determining the quality of educational institution management, including accountability for archives. One common problem is poor archives management, which results in low levels of institutional transparency and accountability. The purpose of this article is to analyze the contribution of educational leadership to developing an accountable archiving system. The approach used is a literature review, examining books on educational leadership and scientific studies related to transformational leadership and women. The findings of this study indicate that leadership with a clear vision, transformational nature, and values-based leadership can foster the creation of an organized, transparent, and sustainable archiving system. Therefore, the synergy between educational leadership and archiving accountability is crucial for achieving quality educational governance. Abstract

Effective archive management becomes a prerequisite for accountable, transparent, and high-performing organizational governance. However, many organizations still face issues of low archival order, weak procedural discipline, and minimal utilization of archival technology, which hinder service and decision-making. In this context, transformational leadership is seen as having a strategic role in promoting changes in attitude, strengthening commitment, and innovation in archival management practices.This article aims to analyze strategies for improving archive management through a transformational leadership approach, focusing on the dimensions of ideal influence, inspirational motivation, intellectual stimulation, and individual consideration relevant to archival management practices. The research was conducted using literature review methods and normative analysis of archival frameworks as well as studies related to transformational leadership.The analysis results show that the effectiveness of archive management is determined not only by technical aspects but also by leadership styles that can build a shared vision, provide role models, develop archival staff competencies, and encourage sustainable use of technology. This article recommends strengthening the role of transformational leadership as the foundation for formulating integrated, adaptive archive management strategies that are oriented toward improving organizational performance. Abstract

Educational leadership and organizational culture play a strategic role in improving the effectiveness of archival management in schools. Effective archival management is essential to support administrative order, accountability, and decision-making processes in educational institutions. This study aims to analyze the role of educational leadership and organizational culture in enhancing the effectiveness of archival management in schools. This research uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The results show that educational leadership contributes significantly through policy-making, supervision, and fostering a culture of discipline. Meanwhile, organizational culture strengthens archival management through shared values, work habits, and institutional commitment. The synergy between leadership and organizational culture creates an effective, efficient, and sustainable archival management system.
