Abstract

This study aims to examine the role of educational leadership in archival management strategies within educational institutions. The method used is library research by analyzing various relevant literature sources, including books, scientific journals, and previous research findings. The results show that educational leadership plays a crucial role in formulating policies, managing archival systems, and promoting the use of technology in records management. Common problems in archival management include document accumulation, unstructured filing systems, and limited human resource competence. Therefore, effective and visionary leadership is required to develop systematic archival strategies, improve administrative staff competencies, and build an orderly administrative culture. In conclusion, educational leadership is the key factor in achieving effective, efficient, and accountable archival management in educational institutions. Abstract

The educational archival system plays a crucial role in supporting effective, transparent, and accountable governance within educational institutions. However, archival practices in Indonesia still face several challenges, including unsystematic archive management, low digital literacy among educational staff, and limited technological infrastructure. This study aims to evaluate the educational archival system in Indonesia from the perspectives of management and digital transformation. The research employs a qualitative approach using literature review and descriptive analysis. The findings indicate that archival systems in education are still largely conventional and not yet digitally integrated. Furthermore, the implementation of digital transformation is hindered by the lack of comprehensive policies, insufficient human resource competencies, and inadequate technological support. Therefore, adaptive and innovative managerial strategies are required, including strengthening regulations, enhancing human resource capabilities, and developing digital archival systems based on information technology. Digital transformation in educational archiving is expected to improve efficiency, security, and accessibility of educational data sustainably. Abstract

ABSTRACT This study aims to develop a CANVA-based Learning Video on the topic of light and its properties, in order to improve the understanding of fifth-grade elementary school students. In addition, this study also aims to determine the level of feasibility, practicality, and effectiveness of Canva-based Learning Video media used in the learning process. This study is a development research using the ADDIE model (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation) with a One-Group Pretest-Posttest Design. The limited test subjects consisted of 5 fifth-grade students of Muhammadiyah Ambarbinanguan Elementary School, while the broad test involved 24 students in the 2025/2026 academic year. Data collection techniques were carried out through interviews, questionnaires, and tests. Data analysis used a descriptive qualitative and quantitative approach with the help of SPSS 26, including validity tests, reliability tests, normality tests, and Paired Sample t-Tests. The results of this study indicate that CANVA-based learning videos received very positive responses from material experts, media experts, teachers, and students. The level of media feasibility is categorized as very feasible with a score of 84% from material experts and 90% from media experts. This media is also considered practical with a response of 83% from teachers and 74.25% from students. In addition, the Learning Video has proven effective in improving student understanding, as shown by the results of the Paired Sample t-Test with a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, so there is a significant difference between the pretest and posttest scores.

Abstract

This study aims to deeply analyze the synergy between local wisdom and the implementation of a love-based curriculum in strengthening religious moderation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) environments. Amid increasing ideological polarization and religious exclusivism, a more humanistic and contextual pedagogical approach is needed. However, previous research tends to examine local wisdom, educational curriculum, and religious moderation separately, thus failing to produce an integrative model capable of connecting the cultural and affective dimensions in PAI learning. This study uses a descriptive qualitative method with a library research approach. The results show that: (1) local wisdom functions as a sociocultural bridge that grounded universal Islamic values ​​(wasathiyah) in the local context; (2) a love-based curriculum transforms the learning process from merely knowledge transfer to an emancipatory process that prioritizes empathy and compassion; (3) the integration of the two creates an inclusive educational ecosystem, where religious moderation is not only cognitive material but also internalized in behavior. This study recommends a reorientation of the Islamic Religious Education (PAI) curriculum that integrates local wisdom values ​​and a pedagogy of compassion as a preventive strategy against radicalism.

Abstract

Educational supervision is a strategic effort to improve the quality of learning and teacher professionalism. This study aims to analyze the concept and planning of supervision by elementary school principals in improving the quality of education. The method used is a literature review by analyzing various relevant scientific articles, books, and research results. The results show that the principal's supervision includes academic, non-academic, and managerial supervision with principles of being objective, systematic, sustainable, and humanistic. Effective supervision planning includes needs analysis, goal setting, program preparation, instrument determination, and scheduling. The implementation of supervision uses techniques such as classroom observation, interviews, and discussions with clinical, collaborative, and directive approaches. Evaluation and follow-up are crucial stages that include providing constructive feedback and continuous improvement programs. Barriers to supervision include time constraints, principal competence, and teacher resistance. Solutions include training, strengthening communication, and utilizing technology. The conclusion of this study confirms that systematic and sustainable supervision planning by the principal can significantly improve the quality of education in elementary schools.

Abstract

Adolescence is a crucial transitional phase in identity formation vulnerable to imbalanced power relations and gender exploitation. This study aims to deconstruct the dynamics of exploitation in adolescents through the lens of the Sociology of Education by analyzing Aurélie Moeremans' memoir, Broken Strings (2025). Employing a descriptive qualitative method with a literature review approach, primary data were sourced from the memoir text through comprehensive document studies and analyzed using critical theory-based coding techniques. The analysis integrates Michel Foucault’s concepts of the Panopticon and Power/Knowledge to identify disciplinary mechanisms, alongside Radical Feminist theories from Adrienne Rich, Kate Millett, and Andrea Dworkin to examine bodily control and domestication. The findings reveal that perpetrators construct “regimes of truth” through religious doctrines and psychological manipulation (grooming) to paralyze the victim's autonomy. This study concludes that such phenomena represent the failure of educational and family institutions to foster Paulo Freire’s “conscientization” (critical consciousness), necessitating a transformation toward critical pedagogy as a preventive measure.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of negotiation text learning in the Independent Curriculum and identify strategies, challenges, and solutions. The method used was a qualitative approach with library research, utilizing various sources such as books, scientific journals, and educational policy documents. The results indicate that negotiation text learning in the Independent Curriculum emphasizes the development of communication skills, critical thinking, and the ability to interact contextually. Learning implementation is carried out through planning based on Learning Outcomes (CP) and Learning Objectives (ATP), implementation using active learning models such as role-play, problem-based learning, and project-based learning, and authentic evaluation covering aspects of process, product, and attitude. However, several challenges remain, such as limited teacher understanding, a lack of learning media, and variations in student abilities. Therefore, strengthening strategies are needed, including teacher training, the use of technology, and local context-based learning. Therefore, negotiation text learning in the Independent Curriculum has the potential to improve students' communication competencies in a more applicable and relevant way to real life.

Abstract

This research investigates the complex intersection of democratization, human rights, and agrarian dynamics in rural Indonesia, specifically focusing on smallholder coffee farmers in the Semende region, Muara Enim Regency. Despite the formalization of village autonomy through Law No. 6 of 2014, substantive democracy at the grassroots level remains constrained by persistent elite capture and systemic social exclusion. Utilizing a qualitative systematic review (SLR) and secondary data from Statistics Indonesia (BPS), this study reveals that procedural democratization does not automatically translate into the realization of socio-economic human rights. Agrarian conflicts and asymmetrical supply chains marginalize local farmers. To counter these forces, the research highlights the strategic role of social capital through the Tunggu Tubang matrilineal system. By leveraging collective norms, communities can develop alternative models like the "Collective Coffee Barn" to mitigate elite dominance. The report argues that true democratization necessitates a shift toward inclusive governance that integrates indigenous knowledge.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the feasibility of anecdotal text material in Indonesian language textbooks for grade 10. The focus of the study is directed at the suitability of the content to the curriculum, language suitability, presentation techniques, and graphic aspects. The analysis was conducted by utilizing findings from various previous studies that highlight the quality of local wisdom-based teaching materials, the development of narrative modules, the use of digital media such as Powtoon, the use of image media, and syntactic evaluation in the Independent Curriculum. The results of the study indicate that the anecdotal text material in grade 10 textbooks generally meets the feasibility standards, both in terms of content and communicative language. However, limitations are still found in the variety of presentations, consistency of structure, and the use of supporting media relevant to the learning context. This study emphasizes the importance of developing teaching materials that are more contextual, innovative, and appropriate to the characteristics of students so that Indonesian language learning can take place more effectively. Thus, this study provides recommendations for teachers and textbook compilers to continuously update anecdotal text material according to curriculum demands and student needs.

Abstract

This study aims to explore patients’ perceptions of dental and oral care behavior at RSUD Ir. Soekarno. This research employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive design. The informants were patients visiting dental and oral health services, selected using purposive sampling techniques. Data were collected through in-depth interviews and observations, and analyzed using thematic analysis. The findings revealed that patients’ perceptions of dental and oral care are influenced by their level of knowledge, daily habits, prior experiences, and access to healthcare services. Most patients still have limited understanding regarding the importance of routine dental care, resulting in suboptimal oral health practices. In addition, factors such as distance, cost, and availability of services were identified as barriers to accessing dental care. This study concludes that improving dental health education and enhancing service accessibility are essential to promote better patient behavior. The findings are expected to contribute to the development of more effective dental and oral health promotion strategies.
