Abstract

This study examines the use of Canva-based picture word cards in improving early reading skills of elementary school students. The problem addressed in this research is the low level of students’ beginning reading ability, which is influenced by limited use of engaging learning media and teacher-centered instruction. The purpose of this study is to analyze early reading skills, identify learning problems, and evaluate the effectiveness of picture word cards designed using Canva. This research employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method by collecting, selecting, and analyzing relevant studies published between 2020 and 2025. The data were analyzed using content analysis techniques to identify patterns, themes, and findings related to the use of visual learning media in early reading instruction. The results indicate that the use of picture word cards can significantly improve students’ ability to recognize letters, syllables, and simple words, as well as enhance reading fluency, motivation, and participation. Furthermore, integrating Canva in developing learning media contributes to more creative, interactive, and student-centered learning environments. Despite some challenges such as limited digital skills among teachers, this media proves to be an effective and innovative solution to enhance early reading skills in elementary education.

Abstract

School cooperatives play a strategic role as both economic institutions and learning media for students. However, many school cooperatives face challenges, particularly in terms of limited capital, which affects their sustainability and business development. This study aims to analyze strategies for maximizing school cooperative capital through a qualitative approach using library research. The data were collected from books, scientific journals, and relevant regulations related to cooperative management. The results show that optimizing capital is not only about increasing funds but also about implementing effective and integrated financial management strategies. Key strategies include strengthening internal capital through member participation, utilizing external funding selectively, applying transparent and accountable financial management, reinvesting profits, diversifying business activities, and adopting digital technology. These strategies can enhance operational efficiency, increase member trust, and improve the cooperative's competitiveness. Therefore, a comprehensive and sustainable approach is essential to ensure that school cooperatives become independent, professional, and competitive economic institutions in supporting educational activities.

Abstract

Berdasarkan wawancara, observasi, dan hasil pra penelitian yang dilakukan di SDN Manggarai 03 ditemukan bahwa hasil belajar kognitif IPA peserta didik kelas IV A belum mencapai KKTP yang telah ditentukan. Dengan demikian, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif IPA peserta didik kelas IV A SDN Manggarai 03 melalui penerapan model Problem based learning (PBL) pada materi pancaindra manusia. Penelitian ini merupakan Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) yang terdiri atas dua siklus dengan subjek 25 peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan adalah lembar pemantauan guru dan peserta didik serta tes hasil belajar peserta didik. Hasil penelitian ini menunjukkan bahwa terdapat peningkatan hasil belajar dari siklus I ke siklus II. Hasil tes belajar pada siklus I diperoleh persentase keberhasilan sebesar 68%. Pada siklus II diperoleh persentase keberhasilan sebesar 88%. Dengan demikian, penerapan model PBL dalam pembelajaran IPA pada materi pancaindra manusia dapat meningkatkan hasil belajar peserta didik kelas IV A SDN Manggarai 03.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the representation of sustainable tourism elements in Dee Lestari's novel Akar using the Literary Tourism theory proposed by Prof. I Nyoman Darma Putra. This theoretical approach is used to examine the dialectical relationship between literary texts and destination image-building as well as tourism practices. The research method employed is descriptive qualitative with hermeneutic analysis techniques, focusing on the exploration of textual meaning, context, and potential extrinsic impacts. The results show that the novel Akar carefully represents two main destinations Java (Indonesia) and Brazil through the construction of lyrical natural imagery, profound ecological wisdom, and implicit criticism of environmental exploitation. This representation not only builds a strong destination image with an eco-spiritualism nuance but also has great potential to trigger sustainable literary tourism. However, the analysis also reveals a romanticization and commodification of local wisdom that needs to be read critically. These findings reinforce Darma Putra's thesis that contemporary literature functions as an effective soft power medium in promoting conservation values and shaping responsible tourist perceptions.

Abstract

Pendidikan multikultural merupakan suatu pendekatan yang penting dalam menciptakan lingkungan pembelajaran yang inklusif, khususnya dalam menghadapi keberagaman budaya, agama, dan etnis di Indonesia. Penerapan pendidikan ini bertujuan untuk menumbuhkan sikap saling menghormati dan toleransi di antara siswa, serta membentuk karakter yang mampu meminimalkan konflik sosial dan memperkuat keharmonisan dalam masyarakat. Dengan memasukkan nilai-nilai multikultural ke dalam kurikulum serta berbagai aktivitas sekolah, pendidikan dapat berperan dalam mengurangi prasangka dan meningkatkan pemahaman antarindividu. Keberhasilan penyelenggaraan pendidikan multikultural juga didukung oleh berbagai faktor, seperti peran guru, lingkungan sekolah, serta program kegiatan yang dijalankan. Oleh karena itu, kesadaran dan penghargaan terhadap keberagaman sejak usia dini menjadi hal yang sangat penting untuk membentuk generasi yang mampu menghargai perbedaan dan berkontribusi secara positif dalam kehidupan masyarakat yang majemuk.

Abstract

School cooperatives play a strategic role as a medium for economic education and entrepreneurship learning for students. However, in practice, the management of school cooperatives still faces various challenges, such as weak planning, unclear organizational structures, suboptimal implementation, and ineffective supervision. This study aims to analyze the role of management activities in realizing effective and sustainable governance of school cooperatives, as well as to identify the supporting and inhibiting factors. This research employs a qualitative approach using a library research method, with data derived from national and international scientific journal articles published within the last ten years. Data analysis was conducted using content analysis techniques, including data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results indicate that the implementation of management functions—planning, organizing, actuating, and controlling—plays a crucial role in improving the effectiveness of school cooperative governance. In addition, the success of cooperative management is influenced by the competence of administrators, active student participation, and the support of teacher supervisors. Strengthening integrated management activities not only enhances cooperative performance but also contributes to the development of students’ character, financial literacy, and long-term welfare.

Abstract

The development of education in the digital era is marked by the emergence of Generation Z teachers in elementary education institutions, including Madrasah Ibtidaiyah (MI). Generation Z teachers possess distinctive characteristics such as high digital literacy, creativity, and a preference for collaborative learning. However, these characteristics require reinforcement through a strong foundation of educational thought to ensure that teachers maintain professionalism and uphold Islamic educational values. This article aims to examine educational thought as a foundation for strengthening the role of Generation Z teachers in Madrasah Ibtidaiyah. This study employs a qualitative approach using library research methods. Data were collected from books and scholarly journal articles published within the last ten years that are relevant to educational thought, Generation Z teachers, and Madrasah Ibtidaiyah education. The findings indicate that both classical and contemporary educational thoughts play a significant role in strengthening the pedagogical, personal, social, and professional competencies of Generation Z teachers. Educational thought serves as a philosophical foundation that enables Generation Z teachers to adapt to technological advancements while maintaining moral values and Islamic identity in the learning process.

Abstract

This study was motivated by the prevalence of teacher-centered learning models, which has resulted in students’ critical thinking skills not developing optimally and their understanding of the material remaining low. The purpose of this study is to determine the effect of the Double Loop Problem Solving (DLPS) learning model on students’ critical thinking skills in the subject of Islamic Religious Education (IRE). The method used was an experiment with a one-group pretest-posttest design. The research sample consisted of 20 students from class XI F6, selected using purposive sampling. Data collection was conducted through a critical thinking skills test that had been validated and had its reliability tested, and was supplemented with prerequisite analysis tests, namely normality and homogeneity tests. The results of the study showed a significant increase in students’ critical thinking skills after the implementation of the DLPS model. The students’ average score increased from 57.90 on the pretest to 77.30 on the posttest. The results of the Paired Sample T-Test showed a significance value of 0.000 (p<0.05), so the alternative hypothesis (Ha) was accepted and the null hypothesis (H0) was rejected. This indicates that the DLPS model has a significant effect on improving students’ critical thinking skills. Thus, the DLPS learning model is effective for use in PAI instruction because it is able to enhance students’ activity, engagement, and critical thinking skills more optimally.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the disharmony of interpretation between the Ministry of Manpower and immigration authorities regarding the use of Visit Visa index C.18 for foreign experts or technicians in Indonesia. This issue arises due to differences in perspectives in determining the scope of permitted activities for foreign nationals, which potentially leads to legal uncertainty, opportunities for misuse of residence permits, and weak supervision of foreign nationals. This research employs a normative juridical method with statutory and conceptual approaches by analyzing applicable regulations and legal concepts related to institutional authority and policy harmonization. The results indicate that the lack of alignment between immigration and labor policies creates multiple interpretations in the implementation of Visa C.18, resulting in inconsistencies in supervisory practices. Therefore, regulatory harmonization is required through clear limitation of permitted activities and strengthened inter-agency coordination. This study contributes to the development of immigration law studies, particularly in promoting legal certainty and improving the effectiveness of foreign national supervision in Indonesia.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of the treasurer in the preparation and reporting of the budget at MAS 1 Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya. Efficient and transparent budget management is crucial in supporting educational activities and enhancing accountability in the use of educational funds. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through in-depth interviews, direct observation, and the analysis of budget report documentation involving the e-RKAM and EDM applications. The results of the study show that the treasurer plays a significant role in ensuring that the use of funds aligns with the planned budget. Although the use of digital applications provides many conveniences, the main challenges faced are limitations in training on the use of the applications and technical difficulties in transaction recording. Therefore, further training for treasurers and better coordination in fund disbursement are necessary to improve the efficiency of budget management at the madrasa. Keywords: Madrasah Treasurer, Budget Preparation, Budget Reporting, e-RKAM, EDM, Transparency, Accountability ABSTRAK Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis peran bendahara dalam penyusunan dan pelaporan anggaran madrasah di MAS 1 Al-Ittifaqiah Indralaya. Pengelolaan anggaran yang efisien dan transparan sangat penting dalam mendukung kegiatan pendidikan, serta meningkatkan akuntabilitas dalam penggunaan dana pendidikan. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah kualitatif deskriptif dengan pendekatan studi kasus. Data dikumpulkan melalui wawancara mendalam, observasi langsung, dan analisis dokumentasi laporan anggaran yang melibatkan aplikasi e-RKAM dan EDM. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa bendahara memegang peranan penting dalam memastikan bahwa setiap penggunaan dana sesuai dengan rencana anggaran yang telah disusun. Meskipun penggunaan aplikasi berbasis digital memberikan banyak kemudahan, tantangan utama yang dihadapi adalah keterbatasan pelatihan dalam penggunaan aplikasi serta kendala teknis dalam pencatatan transaksi. Oleh karena itu, pelatihan lebih lanjut bagi bendahara dan koordinasi yang lebih baik dalam pencairan dana diperlukan untuk meningkatkan efisiensi pengelolaan anggaran madrasah.
