Abstract

Geometri merupakan materi penting dalam pengembangan kemampuan berpikir logis, kritis, dan sistematis siswa sekolah dasar, namun sering menjadi tantangan bagi siswa kelas rendah karena sifat konsep yang abstrak. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji strategi pembelajaran geometri yang efektif, termasuk penggunaan media konkret, model pembelajaran inovatif, pendekatan kontekstual, etnomatematika, dan strategi adaptif. Metode penelitian menggunakan studi literatur dengan menganalisis jurnal-jurnal nasional terkait pembelajaran geometri pada siswa sekolah dasar. Hasil kajian menunjukkan bahwa media konkret membantu siswa memahami konsep abstrak secara nyata, sementara model problem solving, PBL, dan kooperatif dengan penemuan terbimbing meningkatkan kemampuan berpikir kritis dan pemecahan masalah. Pendekatan kontekstual dan etnomatematika memperkaya pengalaman belajar dan membuat konsep lebih bermakna. Strategi adaptif memastikan pembelajaran sesuai dengan karakteristik siswa. Penerapan strategi pembelajaran yang komprehensif ini efektif dalam meningkatkan pemahaman konsep geometri serta keterampilan berpikir siswa.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the need for engaging and interactive learning media to support the learning process in the subject of Building Statics Calculation Elements. This research aims to determine the feasibility of the E-LKPD product with the liveworksheets application used in the Building Statics Calculation element. The research method used is Research and Development (R&D) with the ADDIE development model modified to ADD (Analysis, Design, Develop). The instrument used is a questionnaire. The questionnaire is used to test the feasibility of the E-LKPD through validation by material experts and media experts. The results of the study show that the developed E-LKPD product obtained an average value from material experts of 4.42 (category "very feasible"), and obtained an average value from media experts of 4.20 (category "very feasible"). Thus, the development of the E-LKPD with the liveworksheets application according to experts is very feasible for use by Grade X DPIB students at SMK Negeri 2 Medan, therefore it is recommended that future research proceed to the implementation and evaluation phases and assess the effectiveness of the media on students’ learning outcomes.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze leadership strategies in developing Early Childhood Education (PAUD) curriculum in the era of educational transformation. Rapid changes in technology, social aspects, and student needs demand adaptive and innovative leadership in designing and developing curriculum. The method used in this study is a literature study by reviewing various sources in the form of scientific journals, books, and relevant research results. The results of the study indicate that effective leadership strategies in developing PAUD curriculum in the era of transformation include visionary thinking skills, collaboration with educators, utilization of technology in learning, and the ability to adapt to change. In addition, communicative and responsive leaders are able to create a flexible and child-centered learning environment. Thus, the right leadership strategy can improve the quality of PAUD curriculum to be more relevant to the demands of the times and able to optimize child development holistically. Abstract

Students’ ability to understand mathematical word problems remains a complex issue, particularly when they are faced with language usage embedded in the problems. This study aims to analyze students’ difficulties in understanding mathematical word problems from a language perspective. This research employs a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The subjects of this study were eleventh-grade students of SMA Negeri 6 Medan. Data were collected through a test consisting of five mathematical word problems and documentation of students’ work. The data were analyzed using data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing techniques. The results show that students still experience various difficulties in understanding mathematical word problems related to language aspects, including understanding mathematical vocabulary, sentence structure, interpretation of problem meaning, ability to connect information, and the ability to transform language into mathematical models.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze educational issues at SD Negeri 19 Alai Sako related to teachers’ expertise and students’ psychological development in addressing 21st-century learning challenges. The study employed a descriptive qualitative method, with data collected through in-depth interviews with fifth-grade teachers as the primary informants. The findings revealed that issues regarding teacher competence include limited integration of technology in learning, weak mastery of subject matter, ineffective communication skills, a reliance on monotonous lecture-based methods, and difficulties managing emotions and professional stress. Meanwhile, issues regarding students’ psychological development include bullying behavior, daily misbehavior, lack of learning awareness, low learning motivation, laziness in learning, and low self-confidence. These two dimensions of problems are interrelated and impact both the quality of the learning process and its outcomes. Mitigation efforts include continuous professional development training for teachers, strengthening teachers’ self-reflection, collaboration between teachers and parents, the use of digital media, the implementation of responsive assessment, and enhancing teachers’ understanding of students’ developmental psychology. The integration of teachers’ competencies and psychological approaches is a key solution in realizing effective, meaningful, and student-centered learning

Abstract

This study aims to analyze performance management as a systematic and continuous process in achieving organizational goals effectively and efficiently. Performance management encompasses several stages, including goal and standard setting, planning, organizing, monitoring, evaluation, and the development of individual and team performance. The method used in this research is a library research approach with a descriptive qualitative design through the review of books, scientific journals, and relevant documents in the field of human resource management. The results of the study indicate that the success of performance management is largely determined by the clarity of goals that are measurable, realistic, and participatory, as well as their alignment with the organization’s vision and mission. Well-structured planning supported by needs analysis and appropriate resource allocation enhances work effectiveness. Continuous performance monitoring through clear indicators and the utilization of digital technology enables organizations to make timely and accurate adjustments. Performance evaluation plays a crucial role in assessing achievement levels, identifying strengths and weaknesses, and serving as a basis for strategic decision-making. Furthermore, performance development through training, coaching, and career planning is essential in improving competencies and closing performance gaps. Therefore, performance management functions not only as a control mechanism but also as a strategic instrument to enhance productivity, competitiveness, and organizational sustainability in the digital era.

Abstract

Listening skills are essential abilities for elementary school students because they help students understand information during the learning process and support the development of other language skills. The rapid growth of digital technology has increased gadget use among elementary school students and influenced their learning habits. Gadgets can be used as engaging media that help students access information more easily. However, inappropriate use may reduce students’ direct interaction and affect their communication and listening skills. Therefore, proper guidance in gadget use is needed to support the development of students’ listening skills.

Abstract

This research is motivated by a phenomenon occurring in elementary schools, where elementary school students still experience difficulties in managing their emotions, are easily provoked, tease their peers, and are unable to develop empathy. This indicates the need for attention to children's intelligence development. This study aims to analyze the relationship between emotional intelligence and the morals of Mahmudah, a fourth-grade student at SDN Lenteng Agung 01.This study used a qualitative approach with descriptive methods. Data collection techniques were conducted through interviews, participant observation, and documentation with Islamic Religious Education teachers and fourth-grade students at SDN Lenteng Agung 01. The collected data were analyzed qualitatively through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing.The research results show that emotional intelligence plays a significant role in the development of students' morality. Students who are able to recognize and control their emotions tend to demonstrate patience, respect for their peers, and demonstrate social awareness. Supporting factors in the development of emotional intelligence include the role of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) teachers, parental support, and a positive classroom environment. Obstacles faced include differences in student character, lack of emotional control, and teachers' limited time for individual guidance. Therefore, strengthening emotional intelligence needs to be an integral part of moral education in elementary schools.

Abstract

A good and appropriate learning process affects the quality of learning. In order to improve the quality of education, the hope is that learners understand what they learn and can be applied in real life. Therefore, teachers are required to have innovative knowledge so that in the learning process not only the teacher is active but also the students. Strategy is a very important tool in achieving learning objectives. Active learning strategies are designed to create a learning atmosphere that stimulates active student involvement in the learning process, so that students have an attitude of independence, are able to think critically, and creatively. Therefore, educators are required to be creative in carrying out various strategies that are in accordance with the material and are expected to be easily accepted by students. Innovative learning will make students interested in learning and trigger the emergence of creativity in students. Social studies learning strategies should be designed as much as possible to achieve a learning process that is easy to understand. Social studies is a social subject that covers various aspects such as social life, and includes structures that exist on earth. The approach used in this research is a literature study. Where researchers analyze a number of journals and articles from relevant previous research.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the role of schools in improving students’ digital literacy at SD Masjid Syuhada Yogyakarta, covering aspects of policies, facilities, and school culture, as well as their integration with religious values. This research employs a qualitative approach with a case study design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation, and analyzed using an interactive model consisting of data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing.The results show that schools have a strategic role in enhancing digital literacy through well-structured policies, the provision of technological facilities such as Interactive Flat Panel (IFP), and the development of a digital culture based on Islamic values. Teachers act as facilitators and mentors in guiding students to use technology critically, safely, and responsibly. The implementation of digital literacy is not only focused on technical skills but also on character building and digital ethics. Therefore, the institutional role of the school as a whole is proven to be effective in supporting holistic digital literacy development.
