Abstract

The Qur’an is the holy book of Islam, believed to be the revelation of Allah (SWT) and possesses extraordinary uniqueness, one of which is the concept of I’jaz al-Qur’an(the inimitability of the Qur’an). This concept signifies that the Qur’an cannot be matched or imitated by anyone, whether in terms of its language, content, or message. This study aims to examine the distinctive aspects of the Qur’an’s inimitability as an eternal proof of its truth and relevance across all times. This research employs a qualitative approach through library research, analyzing Qur’anic verses as well as the perspectives of scholars and exegetes. The findings indicate that the inimitability of the Qur’an encompasses several dimensions, including linguistic excellence (balaghah), scientific insights, the perfection of its legal system, and its compatibility with the development of modern knowledge. These unique features not only serve as evidence of the Qur’an as a divine revelation but also present an open challenge to humanity to produce something comparable, a challenge that remains unmet to this day. In conclusion, the inimitability of the Qur’an stands as an authentic and everlasting proof of its truth, continuously relevant to human life. Understanding this concept is expected to strengthen the faith and conviction of Muslims in the Qur’an as a comprehensive guide for life.

Abstract

Collaborative ability is an essential 21st-century skill that needs to be stimulated at the elementary school level through meaningful learning. This study aims to describe the collaborative ability of fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Kalangsari after implementing the Sariswara Method through timbre games. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach with a One-Shot Case Study design. The research subjects were 58 fifth-grade students at SDN 1 Kalangsari, Tasikmalaya City. Data were collected through an observation sheet with 15 indicators covering five aspects of cooperation: positive interdependence, face-to-face promotive interaction, individual accountability, social skills, and group processing. Data analysis was conducted descriptively using ideal mean and ideal standard deviation categorization. The results showed that the average final score reached 85.00 with an achievement percentage of 85.00%. As many as 53 students (91.4%) were in the Very High category and 5 students (8.6%) in the High category. The aspect of positive interdependence obtained the highest mean score (94.2%), while face-to-face promotive interaction obtained the lowest (65.1%). These findings indicate that the Sariswara Method through timbre games is effective in stimulating collaborative ability among elementary school students.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengkaji dan menganalisis secara mendalam strategi kepemimpinan kepala madrasah dalam pengembangan budaya organisasi pendidikan Islam. Penelitian menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif berbasis library research dengan teknik analisis isi (content analysis) yang bersifat deskriptif-interpretatif terhadap berbagai sumber pustaka yang relevan, kredibel, dan mutakhir. Hasil kajian mengungkapkan bahwa penerapan transformational leadership yang berlandaskan nilai-nilai islami, kepemimpinan visioner yang secara konsisten menanamkan shared values kepada seluruh komponen madrasah, serta pelaksanaan program pembiasaan keagamaan yang terstruktur dan berkesinambungan, merupakan strategi utama dalam membentuk budaya organisasi madrasah yang autentik, bermartabat, dan berdaya saing. Faktor pendukung keberhasilan meliputi kompetensi kepemimpinan yang mumpuni, keterlibatan aktif seluruh stakeholder, serta sistem manajemen yang berbasis nilai-nilai Islam secara holistik. Sementara itu, hambatan yang dihadapi mencakup resistensi terhadap perubahan, lemahnya kompetensi manajerial, dan keterbatasan sumber daya kelembagaan. Kepemimpinan yang efektif dan strategis terbukti berdampak signifikan terhadap peningkatan kinerja pendidik, peningkatan mutu pembelajaran, serta penguatan identitas dan integritas kelembagaan madrasah secara menyeluruh dan berkelanjutan.

Abstract

Education is a conscious and planned effort to improve the quality of life and human resources, including Vocational High Schools (SMK). Vocational education prepares students to have specific skills tailored to industry needs. However, the learning outcomes of the static calculation of building structures for class X DPIB students at SMK Negeri 2 Binjai are still relatively low. Observations indicated that 65% of students failed to reach the minimum completeness criteria (KKTP). This is largely because the learning model applied is direct instruction, which heavily centers on the teacher as the primary learning source. Consequently, students become passive and struggle to comprehend abstract and highly logical structural concepts. This classroom action research (CAR) aims to apply the AIR (Auditory, Intellectually, Repetition) cooperative learning model to significantly improve student learning outcomes. The research was conducted in two cycles, with each cycle consisting of four essential stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 35 students from class X DPIB. Data collection utilized test instruments, which were validated through validity tests, difficulty index, discriminating power, distractor effectiveness, and reliability testing. The findings revealed a substantial enhancement in cognitive learning outcomes from Cycle I to Cycle II. In Cycle I, the students' average score reached 76.14 with a classical completeness rate of 69%. Following reflective improvements, Cycle II yielded an increased average score of 86.14, with a classical completeness of 91.41%. The 13.10% increase in average scores and the achievement of the >85% classical completeness target demonstrate that the AIR learning model effectively elevates the learning outcomes in building statics computation.

Abstract

The low level of literacy and numeracy skills among primary school students remains a major challenge in improving educational quality. One strategic effort to address this issue is through the development of a text-rich ecosystem integrated into classroom learning. This community service program aimed to enhance teachers’ competencies in designing and implementing a text-rich ecosystem to support students’ literacy and numeracy skills. The program employed a participatory and collaborative approach through training, workshops, mentoring, implementation, and evaluation stages. The participants consisted of 17 primary school teachers selected using purposive sampling. Data were collected through observations, interviews, questionnaires, and documentation, and were analyzed descriptively. The results showed a significant improvement in teachers’ understanding, indicated by an increase in the average pre-test score from 62.1 to 86.3 in the post-test, with an N-Gain score of 0.64 categorized as moderate. In addition, teachers were able to develop and implement text-rich environments in classrooms, such as reading corners, numeracy posters, and text-based learning media, which positively impacted students’ engagement and participation in learning. Therefore, mentoring teachers in developing a text-rich ecosystem is proven to be effective in improving teacher competence and supporting more meaningful literacy and numeracy learning.

Abstract

This study aims to describe: (1) the form and meaning of comparative and contrasting language styles contained in the novel Bumi dan Lukanya by Reviana Aprilliandini, (2) the relevance of comparative and contrasting language styles in the novel Bumi dan Lukanya by Reviana Aprilliandini to Indonesian language learning. This type of research is qualitative descriptive research with a library study method. The data in this study are in the form of narrative excerpts, dialogues, and descriptions containing comparative and contrasting language styles in the novel Bumi dan Lukanya by Reviana Aprilliandini. The data source for this study is the novel Bumi dan Lukanya by Reviana Aprilliandini. The data collection technique is carried out through careful reading techniques, taking notes, and classifying data based on the type and meaning of comparative and contrasting language styles according to the focus of the research. The research instrument is the researcher herself who is assisted by a data corpus sheet and a comparative and contrasting language style indicator sheet. Data analysis uses the Miles and Huberman model which includes data reduction, data presentation, and drawing conclusions. The results of the study show that: (1) The forms of language style in the novel Bumi dan Lukanya contain various forms of comparative language style, such as simile, metaphor, personification, allegory, and antithesis, as well as opposing language style, such as hyperbole, litotes, irony, oxymoron, satire, paradox, cynicism and sarcasm, while the meaning of the comparative and contradictory language style functions to strengthen the image of the characters, inner self, and story so that the message conveyed becomes more vivid and profound (2) The comparative and contrasting style of language in the novel Bumi dan Lukanya has relevance to Indonesian language learning, especially in the material on linguistic element analysis, and can be used as a learning resource to improve students' critical thinking skills and short story writing skills.

Abstract

This study aims to determine whether there is a relationship between arm muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength together with the accuracy of handball flying shoots. The research method used in this study is a correlational method with a quantitative approach. The population in this study was the Male Athletes of the Handball Team of Cirebon Regency XIV West Java Provincial Sports Week which amounted to 12 people with a sampling technique using the total sample technique "saturated sampling".The instruments in this study are 1) push ups; 2) sit ups; 3) flying shoot; The data analysis technique uses multiple regression tests. The results of this study show that there is a relationship between arm muscle strength and abdominal muscle strength together with the accuracy of handball flying shots in Handball Men's Athletes Cirebon Regency West Java Handball Provincial Sports Week XIV

Abstract

Indonesian language learning often faces the challenge of low student participation due to the dominance of conventional passive approaches. This study aims to analyze the impact of active learning implementation on student participation in Indonesian language learning through a systematic literature review (SLR) approach. The review process followed the PRISMA 2020 guidelines with systematic searches on Google Scholar, Garuda, and SINTA databases using keywords such as “active learning,” “pembelajaran aktif,” “student participation,” and “Bahasa Indonesia.” From 15 initially relevant articles, only five empirical studies published between 2021 and 2025 met the inclusion criteria and were used for synthesis. The synthesis results indicate that active learning consistently enhances student participation across three dimensions: behavioral (discussion activity and language practice), emotional (motivation and enthusiasm), and cognitive (material understanding and reflection). This improvement was observed across various educational levels (elementary/MI, junior high, and senior high school) using models such as general active learning strategies, Power of Two, animated infographic videos, and flash card media. However, participation measurement still relies heavily on observation, and research duration remains relatively short. This study concludes that active learning is an effective approach to increase student engagement and learning outcomes in Indonesian language subjects. The implication is that teachers are encouraged to routinely integrate active learning strategies according to student characteristics and the spirit of the Merdeka Curriculum to create more active and meaningful learning.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the factors causing learning difficulties among students in the Pancasila education subject in the third grade of SD Negeri Mannuruki, Makassar. The research method used is descriptive qualitative with data collection techniques through direct observation and in-depth interviews with teachers and students. The results of the study show that students' learning difficulties are not singular but rather an accumulation of internal and external factors. Cognitively, students experience difficulties in understanding abstract terms in Pancasila. Meanwhile, behaviorally, there is a tendency for students to evade tasks through 'stubborn' attitudes or lack of focus due to an inability to understand instructions. The dominant internal factors include low concentration, abstract material that is far from the children's reality, and emotional health issues in the form of feelings of inferiority. The external factors are triggered by a lack of learning support at home due to the busyness of parents and the influence of uncontrolled gadget use. The findings of this study indicate a negative correlation between student behavior and academic achievement, where a lack of focus directly hinders optimal material absorption

Abstract

In today's digital age, devices such as smartphones and tablets have become essential to the daily lives of elementary school children. This, in turn, has a number of significant consequences for their social development, including both positive and more serious negative effects. This study aims to conduct an in-depth analysis of these influences by applying a comprehensive literature review approach, compiling and analyzing findings from relevant, recent scientific journals. The method used was a rigorous systematic literature review, drawing on sources from accredited journals published between 2018 and 2025, with a primary focus on empirical research in Indonesia. The analysis revealed that negative impacts were more pronounced, such as a decline in the quality of direct social relationships, the emergence of antisocial behavior, and a reduced capacity for empathy among students. Meanwhile, the observed positive effects were limited to increased creativity through digital communication and better access to information. Overall, the study's conclusions emphasize the need for close supervision by parents and educators to mitigate potential risks and provide practical advice on limiting daily gadget use within safe limits.
