Abstract

This study focuses on the representation of feminism in Andrea Hirata’s novel Ayah, based on the following research questions: 1) How is feminism represented through the mother character’s dialogue in Andrea Hirata’s novel Ayah? 2) How is feminism represented through the mother character in Andrea Hirata’s novel Ayah? The objective of this study is to analyze the representation of feminism through the dialogue and characterization of the mother figure in the novel Ayah by Andrea Hirata. The theory used in this study is Simone Beauvoir’s Existentialist Feminism. The method used in this study is a qualitative descriptive method. The results of the study indicate that, through the author’s portrayal, the mother character has achieved her freedom through the three steps outlined by Simone Beauvoir: Mainstreaming, Empowerment, and Equality. This study describes feminism, which addresses gender equality between women and men, as demonstrated through the mother character in the author’s representation. This indicates that women are capable of achieving the freedom they desire through the three stages one must undergo to attain freedom: voicing freedom, living independently, and achieving equality with men in societal life. The mother character successfully navigates all these stages, demonstrating that women are shaped by their environment and are capable of transforming social structures.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis internalisasi kurikulum berbasis cinta pada nilai rahmat dalam pembelajaran fiqh di MI Al-Hikmah SU 1 Palembang. Penelitian ini menggunakan pendekatan kualitatif dengan metode wawancara terhadap guru sebagai sumber data utama. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa kurikulum berbasis cinta telah diimplementasikan melalui pendekatan pembelajaran yang humanis, lingkungan belajar yang ramah, serta keteladanan guru dalam berinteraksi dengan peserta didik. Internalisasi nilai rahmat dilakukan melalui integrasi nilai kasih sayang dalam penyampaian materi fiqh, penggunaan metode pembelajaran yang kontekstual, serta pendekatan yang penuh empati dalam proses pembelajaran. Evaluasi terhadap penerapan nilai tersebut menunjukkan adanya dampak positif terhadap perkembangan sikap siswa, seperti meningkatnya rasa nyaman, kepedulian, dan sikap saling menghargai. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa kurikulum berbasis cinta berperan penting dalam pembentukan karakter peserta didik melalui pembelajaran fiqh.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to analyze the role of social modernization education in shaping a harmonious digital generation at SDN 01 and SDN 03 Halaban. The background of this activity is based on the increasing use of digital technology among students, which has not been fully accompanied by adequate understanding of digital ethics and proper social interaction. The method used is Participatory Action Research (PAR), consisting of stages of problem identification, planning, action implementation, as well as observation and evaluation. Data collection techniques include observation, interviews, and documentation. The results of the activity indicate that social modernization education implemented through digital literacy, character education, and interactive activities is able to improve students’ understanding and social behavior. Positive changes are reflected in increased mutual respect, improved collaboration skills, and greater awareness in using digital technology wisely. The active involvement of teachers and the support of parents through digital parenting further strengthen the success of the program. Thus, the PAR approach in social modernization education has proven to be effective in shaping a digital generation that is not only technologically competent but also harmonious, tolerant, and socially responsible.

Abstract

This qualitative study explores teacher professionalism in implementing the Pancasila Student Profile Strengthening Project (P5) within early childhood education, focusing on planning, execution, and resource management. The findings emphasize that P5 serves as a vital tool for character formation, prioritizing the quality of the exploration process over physical outputs through child-centered Project-Based Learning supported by digital media. To overcome technical obstacles and misaligned perceptions, the study highlights the importance of regular teacher discussions and intensive communication with parents via consultative bodies. Ultimately, the successful synergy between professional educators and supportive parents led to significant improvements in children's independence, social collaboration, and daily etiquette, proving that collaborative leadership is essential for the sustainable development of student character at an early age.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) in education has become a driving factor in the transformation of learning in Vocational High Schools (SMK), particularly in the implementation of the Independent Curriculum, which emphasizes flexible, student-centered, and technology-based learning. This study aims to analyze the integration of Artificial Intelligence in the Independent Curriculum in vocational high schools and identify the benefits and challenges in its implementation. The research method used is a qualitative approach through a literature review by reviewing various relevant scientific articles from 2023–2025. The results of the study indicate that the use of Artificial Intelligence, such as in the creation of teaching modules, interactive learning media, and the use of generative Artificial Intelligence in the learning process, can improve learning effectiveness, cognitive competence, creativity, and student work readiness in the digital era and Society 5.0. In addition, Artificial Intelligence integration also supports the implementation of project-based and problem-based learning, which align with the principles of the Independent Curriculum. However, its implementation still faces various obstacles, such as limited technological infrastructure, teacher readiness and competence, and the suboptimal policies and integration of the Artificial Intelligence -based learning system. Therefore, a targeted strategy is needed, strengthening teacher training, and developing educational infrastructure and policies so that the integration of Artificial Intelligence in the Independent Curriculum can run optimally in improving the quality of education in vocational schools.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the financial performance of the Jambi City Government in increasing Regional Original Revenue (PAD) during the 2011–2025 period. The background of this research is based on the still low level of regional fiscal independence and high dependence on transfer funds from the central government, despite PAD showing an increasing trend from year to year. The research method used is descriptive qualitative, utilizing secondary data in the form of Regional Revenue and Expenditure Budget (APBD) realization reports obtained from the Directorate General of Fiscal Balance (DJPK) and the Jambi City Regional Finance and Asset Management Agency (BPKAD). The analysis was conducted using a regional financial ratio approach, which includes the ratios of independence, effectiveness, efficiency, decentralization, regional financial dependence, harmony, and PAD growth. The results indicate that the Jambi City Government's financial performance remains in the low to adequate category, particularly in terms of fiscal independence and decentralization ratios, which indicate a still high dependence on the central government. Meanwhile, the effectiveness and efficiency ratios show relatively good performance, although they have not been stable from year to year. Regional Original Revenue (PAD) growth tends to fluctuate, primarily due to external factors such as the Covid-19 pandemic, which has reduced regional economic activity. In conclusion, the Jambi City Government's financial performance in increasing PAD has not been optimal, necessitating a more effective strategy to explore potential regional revenue sources, improve financial management efficiency, and strengthen fiscal efficiency to support sustainable regional development.

Abstract

The current development of the education system demands learning processes that not only emphasize theoretical understanding but also focus on developing skills that are relevant to workplace needs, particularly at the Vocational High School (SMK) level in the field of Information Technology. One of the learning models that supports this objective is Project Based Learning (PjBL), which encourages students to actively participate in learning activities through project completion. This study aims to analyze the implementation of Project Based Learning within the Merdeka Curriculum at SMK, especially in the Information Technology field. The research method applied in this study is a literature review by examining various relevant scientific articles and journals. Based on the analysis of approximately 30 articles, the findings indicate that the implementation of PjBL provides positive effects on students’ learning outcomes in cognitive, psychomotor, and affective domains. Improvements in learning outcomes can be seen from the increase in students’ average scores and learning completion percentages, with several studies reporting significant improvements of more than 80% and classical completion rates above 90%. In addition, PjBL has also been proven to enhance students’ practical abilities, creativity, critical thinking skills, and teamwork. In the psychomotor domain, the improvement in practical skills was found to be more dominant, while in the affective domain there were notable increases in students’ motivation, participation, and independent learning. Therefore, it can be concluded that the implementation of Project Based Learning (PjBL) contributes positively to supporting the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in Vocational High Schools, particularly in the field of Information Technology, by improving learning outcomes, student engagement, critical thinking, creativity, collaboration, and practical skills.

Abstract

This study analyzes the selection of shipping routes on MV Spob Seroja III to improve time efficiency and sailing safety amid increasing competition in the shipping industry. The research applies a triangulation method by collecting data from various sources, methods, and timeframes. The results show that route selection is carried out through three main stages: route identification, navigation planning, and safety planning. Careful and up-to-date planning based on publications and weather conditions is essential to ensure safe and efficient voyages.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of Islamic Religious Education (PAI) learning through the use of animated video media for students with special needs at Sekolah Khusus Nurasih Ciputat, Tangerang Selatan. The background of this research is based on the low effectiveness of conventional teaching methods, especially lectures, which are less able to attract attention and facilitate understanding for students with cognitive and attention limitations. Therefore, innovative and adaptive learning media are needed, one of which is animated video. This research aims to describe the planning, implementation, and evaluation of PAI learning through animated video media. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. Data were obtained from the principal and PAI teachers as primary sources, while documentation served as secondary data. Data collection techniques included observation, interviews, and documentation, with data analysis conducted through data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing, as well as data validation through triangulation techniques. The results show that: (1) learning planning is adjusted to the characteristics of students with special needs and learning objectives; (2) the implementation of animated video media increases students' attention, interest, and understanding due to its visual and concrete presentation; and (3) evaluation emphasizes not only cognitive aspects but also affective and psychomotor aspects tailored to students' abilities. Thus, the use of animated video media has a positive impact on the learning process and outcomes of students with special needs.

Abstract

This study aimed to improve students’ learning outcomes in Science and Social Studies (IPAS) through the implementation of a scientific approach in Grade V of SDN 13 Trans Rangkang. The research employed Classroom Action Research (CAR) using the Kemmis and McTaggart model, which consisted of two cycles: planning, action, observation, and reflection. The subjects of this study were 27 fifth-grade students. Data collection techniques included observation, tests, and documentation. The results showed that the implementation of the scientific approach improved students’ learning outcomes in IPAS learning. In the pre-cycle stage, the average score of students was 38.88, with only 1 student (3.7%) achieving the minimum mastery criteria. In Cycle I, the average score increased to 55.37 with 10 students (37%) achieving mastery learning. Furthermore, in Cycle II, students’ learning outcomes increased significantly, where most students achieved the minimum mastery criteria. The scientific approach encouraged students to be more active in observing, questioning, experimenting, reasoning, and communicating during the learning process. Therefore, the scientific approach was effective in improving students’ learning outcomes in IPAS subjects for Grade V students at SDN 13 Trans Rangkang.
