Abstract

This study aims to identify and describe the implementation of differentiated learning for students with mild special needs (ABK) at the SPF Unit of SD Inpres Bira 2 Makassar, a public elementary school facing limited resources. Amidst the absence of a Special Guidance Teacher (GPK) and limited supporting infrastructure, this study explores how classroom teachers adapt the curriculum to maintain an inclusive environment. The approach used is a qualitative descriptive case study with a single data collection technique through in-depth interviews. Data were analyzed using the interactive model of Miles, Huberman, and Saldana, which includes data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results show that differentiated learning is implemented through a “minimalist resilience” strategy. Teachers conduct sociocultural diagnostic assessments by identifying students’ financial and environmental backgrounds to map learning needs. In the process, the “Gotong Royong” (peer tutoring) strategy is utilized to manage a large class of 35 students, where high-ability students assist students with learning disabilities. In addition, content differentiation is carried out through the creation of concrete learning media from recycled materials, such as cardboard clocks, to facilitate visual and kinesthetic learning. Assessment is conducted adaptively, shifting the focus from rigid academic standards to individual and character development. This study concludes that the success of differentiated learning in inclusive environments depends more on pedagogical flexibility and the use of social capital than simply material facilities.

Abstract

The development of Artificial Intelligence (AI) technology has created new forms of digital sexual violence, particularly deepfake pornography that manipulates individuals’ visual identities without consent. This phenomenon has become a serious issue as it not only violates privacy but also relates to human rights violations, the reproduction of digital patriarchy, and insecurity within academic spaces. This study aims to analyze deepfake pornography as a form of digital symbolic violence and human rights violation in higher education through a case study at Udayana University. This research employs a qualitative method with a critical case study approach. Data were collected through documentation studies and literature reviews derived from online media, legal regulations, academic journals, and relevant literature on digital sexual violence. The analysis applies Pierre Bourdieu’s critical sociology perspective and a digital human rights approach. The findings reveal that deepfake pornography represents a form of digital symbolic violence that reproduces patriarchal power relations through AI technology. Such practices violate victims’ rights to dignity, privacy, security, and justice. Furthermore, this study identifies the existence of “institutional digital insecurity” within higher education caused by weak digital ethics governance and inadequate protection for victims of technology-based sexual violence. The novelty of this research lies in the development of the Digital Power Relations Model in deepfake pornography by integrating symbolic violence theory, digital patriarchy, digital human rights, and AI technology within the context of academic spaces.

Abstract

Vocational specialization in Vocational High Schools (SMK) aims to equip students with competencies aligned with their chosen fields of expertise. However, in practice, not all students continue their higher education in study programs that are relevant to their vocational majors. Therefore, this study aims to analyze various factors influencing SMK students’ decisions in choosing university study programs, both linear and non-linear to their previous educational background. The data collection method in this research was conducted through a literature review of various relevant scientific articles. Nevertheless, several studies indicate that mismatches in study program selection are influenced by various factors, such as personal interests, family encouragement, as well as the development of information and career opportunities.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the mathematical literacy skills of fifth-grade students in solving mixed integer operation problems at SD Negeri 137 Pekanbaru. The research employed a qualitative descriptive approach with 24 students as the subjects. Data were collected through written tests based on mathematical literacy questions referring to AKM and interviews to explore students’ thinking processes. The results showed that most students were at the cognitive level of understanding, with a percentage of 86.1%, while only 20.8% of students were able to solve problems at the application level, and no students reached the reasoning level. The main difficulties experienced by students included interpreting contextual problems, identifying relevant information, and applying concepts of mixed integer operations accurately. Therefore, students’ mathematical literacy skills are still relatively low and have not developed to the reasoning stage. It is recommended that learning should emphasize strengthening basic concepts, continuous practice with literacy-based problems, and the development of higher-order thinking skills to improve students’ mathematical literacy optimally.

Abstract

Indonesia's criminal justice system has historically marginalized victims, treating them merely as witnesses serving the state's interest in proving offenders' guilt. Yet victims are the parties most directly harmed by criminal acts. This study examines the legal standing of victims as independent subjects within Indonesia's criminal justice system from the perspective of victimology and criminal law reform policy. Using normative legal research with statutory, conceptual, and comparative approaches, the findings reveal that normative provisions on victims' rights remain scattered, unsystematic, and have not positioned victims as autonomous legal subjects at every stage of criminal proceedings. A significant normative gap exists between modern victimological concepts and Indonesia's positive law construction. Reforms through the 2023 Penal Code and the 2022 Correctional Law have not adequately addressed the need for comprehensive integration of victims' legal standing. Normative reconstruction within the draft Criminal Procedure Code is needed to provide victims with concrete procedural rights at every sub-system of the criminal justice process.
