Abstract

This study aims to describe the behavior of caring for fellow students in PGMI Semester 4 at UIN Syarif Hidayatullah Jakarta from the perspective of Love Curriculum (Kurikulum Cinta) values. The background of this research is the phenomenon of weakening social care among university students despite the issuance of the Love-Based Curriculum (KBC) by the Ministry of Religious Affairs through Director General of Islamic Education Decree No. 6077 of 2025. This research uses a quantitative approach with a descriptive design. The subjects were 33 PGMI Semester 4 students of class 4C, selected through purposive sampling. Data were collected using a closed questionnaire with a 4-point Likert scale based on frequency (1=Never, 2=Sometimes, 3=Often, 4=Always), covering six indicators: empathy, helping behavior, respecting differences, cooperation and solidarity, maintaining social relationships, and social awareness, with 20 statement items. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics (mean and percentage). The results showed that 90.91% of students were in the “Very Good” category and 9.09% in the “Good” category, with an overall mean of 3.83. The implementation of Love Curriculum values was also rated very positively, with 90.91% of respondents giving a “very good” assessment. These findings indicate that the Love Curriculum values including empathy, compassion, tolerance, cooperation, and social responsibility have been effectively internalized and practiced in the daily lives of PGMI students, contributing significantly to the formation of caring behavior toward others.

Abstract

This study aimed to describe the growth and development of second-grade students at SD Negeri 14 Koto Lalang based on physical, cognitive, language, and socio-emotional aspects. The study employed a qualitative approach with a descriptive research design. Data were collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. Observations were conducted directly during the learning process, while interviews were carried out with the classroom teacher to obtain information regarding students’ development. The findings showed that most students experienced development appropriate to their elementary school age stage. In the physical aspect, students demonstrated good motor development. In the cognitive aspect, students were able to follow instructions and understand learning materials through concrete examples. In terms of language development, students began to actively express opinions and answer questions, while in the socio-emotional aspect, students were able to cooperate and interact well with their peers. However, some students still required guidance in reading skills and self-confidence when speaking in front of the class. Overall, a supportive learning environment and teacher guidance had a positive influence on students’ development.

Abstract

International food industrialization has driven significant transformations in global food systems through production modernization, supply chain integration, product standardization, and the expansion of cross-border food trade. This phenomenon has directly affected the existence of local food systems, which have long played a crucial role in food security, cultural identity, and the economic sustainability of local communities. This study aims to analyze the development of local food amid international food industrialization, identify existing research gaps, and formulate future research and policy directions. The study employs a Systematic Literature Review (SLR) approach based on the Preferred Reporting Items for Systematic Reviews and Meta-Analyses (PRISMA) guidelines. Literature was collected from Scopus, Google Scholar, and Crossref databases covering the period from 2020 to 2026. The selection process resulted in 42 articles that met the inclusion criteria and were subsequently analyzed. The findings indicate that international food industrialization exerts both positive and negative impacts on local food systems. Positive impacts include technology transfer, improved production efficiency, market expansion, and product innovation. Conversely, negative impacts involve the homogenization of consumption patterns, the marginalization of small-scale farmers, reduced food diversification, and increased dependence on global food systems. Furthermore, the review reveals that previous studies remain fragmented across the perspectives of food security, food sovereignty, and food industrialization, resulting in the absence of an integrative framework that explains the interrelationship among these dimensions. The novelty of this study lies in its comprehensive synthesis of the dynamics of local food development within the context of international food industrialization through the lenses of food security, food sovereignty, and sustainable food systems.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum in improving students' learning motivation in the classroom. The background of this research is based on the low level of learning motivation among some students, which is reflected in their lack of engagement, enthusiasm, and active participation during the learning process. This condition is often influenced by conventional teacher-centered learning methods that pay less attention to students' needs, interests, and characteristics. The Merdeka Curriculum offers a student-centered, differentiated, and contextual learning approach that provides students with greater opportunities to develop their potential. This study employed a descriptive qualitative method with data collected through observation, interviews, and documentation. The research subjects consisted of teachers and students who were directly involved in the learning activities. Data were analyzed through data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings indicate that the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum contributes positively to students' learning motivation through more flexible, interactive, and student-oriented learning practices. Furthermore, providing opportunities for students to actively participate in the learning process enhances their self-confidence, responsibility, and interest in learning. Therefore, the implementation of the Merdeka Curriculum can serve as an effective strategy for creating meaningful learning experiences and improving students' learning motivation. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menganalisis implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dalam meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa di kelas. Latar belakang penelitian ini didasarkan pada masih rendahnya motivasi belajar sebagian siswa yang ditandai dengan kurangnya keterlibatan, antusiasme, serta partisipasi aktif dalam proses pembelajaran. Kondisi tersebut sering kali dipengaruhi oleh penggunaan metode pembelajaran konvensional yang berpusat pada guru dan kurang memperhatikan kebutuhan, minat, serta karakteristik peserta didik. Kurikulum Merdeka hadir sebagai pendekatan pembelajaran yang memberikan kebebasan kepada siswa untuk mengembangkan potensi diri melalui pembelajaran yang berpusat pada peserta didik, diferensiatif, dan kontekstual. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode deskriptif kualitatif dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa observasi, wawancara, dan dokumentasi. Subjek penelitian terdiri atas guru dan siswa yang terlibat secara langsung dalam proses pembelajaran. Analisis data dilakukan melalui tahap reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka mampu meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa melalui penerapan pembelajaran yang lebih fleksibel, interaktif, dan sesuai dengan kebutuhan peserta didik. Selain itu, pemberian ruang bagi siswa untuk berpartisipasi aktif dalam kegiatan pembelajaran turut meningkatkan rasa percaya diri, tanggung jawab, dan minat belajar mereka. Dengan demikian, implementasi Kurikulum Merdeka dapat menjadi salah satu strategi efektif dalam menciptakan proses pembelajaran yang bermakna dan meningkatkan motivasi belajar siswa.

Abstract

This study aims to identify and analyze various types of writing rule errors in research reports based on a literature review of previous studies. The research method used is a library research with a descriptive qualitative approach. The data were obtained from journal articles, books, and scientific studies relevant to the topic of students’ academic writing errors. Data collection was conducted through documentation study, while data analysis employed the interactive model proposed by Miles, Huberman, and Saldaña, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The findings show that writing rule errors in academic papers commonly occur in several aspects, namely Indonesian spelling, diction, sentence structure, paragraph development, as well as citation and reference list formatting. The most dominant errors are spelling mistakes, particularly in the use of capital letters, punctuation marks, and prepositions. These findings indicate that students’ academic writing skills still need to be improved, both in linguistic aspects and academic writing conventions

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui bagaimana penerapan model jigsaw dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas 5 di sekolah dasar yang masih rendah. Tempat penelitian dilakukan di SDN 2 Sumberejo, Bandar Lampung. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah metode kuantitatif dengan jumlah sampel yang digunakan sebanyak 58 peserta didik yang terdiri dari 29 peserta didik kelas 5B sebagai kelas kontrol dan 29 peserta didik kelas 5C sebagai kelas eksperimen. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini menggunakan teknik tes dan non tes. Teknik analisis data menggunakan uji regresi linier sederhana untuk mengetahui pengaruh dari dua kelompk yang tidak saling berkaitan, dengan syarat data dari kedua kelompok tersebut tersebar secara normal dan memiliki variasi yang sama. Hasil uji pada kelas eksperimen dan kontrol menunjukkan terdapat pengaruh yang didapatkan melalui nilai signifikansi yang kurang dari 0,05. Hasil uji N-gain juga memperkuat adanya peningkatan hasil belajar dengan kelas eksperimen memperoleh sebesar 0,6 dan kelas kontrol sebesar 0,4 sehingga diperoleh dalam kategori sedang. Hasil observasi keterlaksanaan model jigsaw juga memperoleh rata-rata dengan kategori sangat aktif. Maka dapat disimpulkan bahwa penggunaan model jigsaw ini dapat berpengaruh dan dapat digunakan untuk mengatasi masalah hasil belajar IPAS peserta didik kelas 5 sekolah dasar.

Abstract

The development of digital technology and the increasing use of social media have changed marketing strategies and consumer behavior, especially among Generation Z. TikTok is used as a strategic marketing medium based on persuasive short videos. Kahf products apply a storytelling marketing content strategy and celebrity endorsements on TikTok to build emotional closeness and increase consumer trust, so that purchasing decisions are increasingly influenced by the power of marketing narratives and the credibility of public figures. This study aims to analyze the influence of storytelling marketing content and celebrity endorsements on TikTok on Generation Z's purchasing decisions for Kahf products in Medan. The influence of these two independent variables is analyzed partially and simultaneously on purchasing decisions as the dependent variable. The research design used is quantitative research with an associative approach. The population in this study is Generation Z in Medan who have purchased Kahf products, with a sample size of 96 respondents selected using non-probability sampling with purposive sampling technique. Primary data was obtained through questionnaires, while secondary data was obtained through literature studies. The data analysis methods used included validity tests, reliability tests, classical assumption tests, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests (t-tests), simultaneous tests (F-tests), and coefficient of determination tests processed using statistical analysis programs. The results of the study show that storytelling marketing (X1) and celebrity endorsement (X2) have a partial and simultaneous effect on the purchase decision (Y) of Kahf products among Generation Z in Medan. Based on the coefficient of determination test, the relationship between storytelling marketing (X1) and celebrity endorsement (X2) on the purchase decision (Y) has an R value of 0.853. Through the adjusted R square value, it is known that storytelling marketing (X1) and celebrity endorsement (X2) contribute 72.1% to the purchase decision (Y), while the remaining 27.9% is influenced by other variables not discussed in this study.

Abstract

The rapid rise of digital technology, particularly social media, has fundamentally reshaped the moral landscape of elementary school students. This study synthesizes existing research to unpack both the positive and negative sides of social media usage on young learners' moral development, viewed through established psychological lenses. Using a research synthesis approach, we analyzed 10 selected scientific articles published between 2021 and 2025. The findings reveal a double-edged sword: on the flip side, unmonitored screen time on platforms like TikTok and Instagram triggers behavioral issues, such as a decline in politeness, poor online etiquette, and a tendency to mimic negative trends. On the bright side, when parents and teachers step in to guide them, social media can actually boost learning motivation, sharpen self-regulation, and help children internalize positive moral and spiritual values. Ultimately, because children at this age are highly impressionable, equipping them with digital literacy and embedding character education into school culture are absolutely critical to steering their digital habits in a positive direction.

Abstract

This study is motivated by the importance of utilizing literary works as learning media that can instill cultural values and shape students’ character, while culture-based teaching materials at the senior high school level are still limited. This study aims to analyze the cultural values contained in the novel Sang Pemimpi by Andrea Hirata through a hermeneutic approach, examine their relationship with the intrinsic elements of the novel, and assess their relevance as an alternative teaching material for tenth-grade Indonesian language learning in senior high school. This research employed a qualitative descriptive method with a hermeneutic approach. The data source was the text of the novel Sang Pemimpi, while the data were collected through reading and note-taking techniques. Data analysis used the interactive model of Miles and Huberman, which includes data reduction, data display, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that the novel contains cultural values related to human relationships with God, nature, society, oneself, and others, which are reflected through the characters, plot, setting, and moral messages of the story. These cultural values are relevant to be integrated into literary learning as an alternative LKPD-based teaching material. This study concludes that Sang Pemimpi is appropriate to be used as Indonesian language teaching material to strengthen character education and enhance students’ literary appreciation at the senior high school level

Abstract

The rapid growth of the retail industry has intensified competition among companies, compelling businesses to create a competitive edge. In this environment, companies focus not only on product sales but also on creating engaging customer experiences. As a specialty retailer, OH!SOME Store implements strategies centered on brand experience and customer engagement to enhance customer satisfaction through the shopping experience and build long-term relationships. This study was conducted to analyze the influence of brand experience and customer engagement on customer satisfaction at OH!SOME Store in Medan to determine the extent to which these two variables can explain customer satisfaction levels. This study employs a quantitative method with an associative approach. Data were collected through the distribution of questionnaires to 96 eligible respondents—customers who had visited and made purchases at OH!SOME Store in Medan. Data analysis techniques included validity testing, reliability testing, classical assumption testing, multiple linear regression analysis, partial tests (t-tests), simultaneous tests (F-tests), and the coefficient of determination using SPSS software. The results of the study indicate that brand experience has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a calculated t-value > critical t-value and significance < 0.05, and customer engagement also has a positive and significant effect on customer satisfaction, with a calculated t-value > critical t-value and significance < 0.05. Simultaneously, both independent variables have a significant effect on customer satisfaction at the OH!SOME Store in Medan. The Adjusted R-Square value of 0.629 indicates that approximately 62.9% of the variation in customer satisfaction can be explained by brand experience and customer engagement, while the remaining 37.1% is influenced by other factors outside the scope of this study.
