Abstract

This study aims to improve the gross motor skills of early childhood children through the implementation of the traditional jump rope game at An-Nashr Early Childhood Education (PAUD). The background of this study is based on the low gross motor skills of children, such as motor coordination, balance, and jumping ability, where 55% of children have not achieved the expected development indicators. The method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which is implemented in two cycles, including the planning, implementation, observation, and reflection stages. The research subjects are 20 children. The methodology used for data collection includes observational and documentation techniques, while the analytical framework applied to the data adopts a qualitative descriptive methodology. The research findings show an increase in children's gross motor skills from cycle I to cycle II. In cycle I, the average achievement of children was 65%, while in cycle II it increased to 85%, resulting in an increase of 20%. This increase is seen in the indicators of jumping with balance, motor coordination, push-off, and landing. The results of this study indicate that conventional jump rope activities are effective in improving children's gross motor skills, while encouraging physical engagement, motivational learning, and social development among children.

Abstract

Listening ability is an important aspect in the language development of early childhood. However, there are still children who experience difficulties in listening, such as lack of focus when listening to stories, not understanding the content of the story, and difficulty answering simple questions related to the story being told. This study aims to determine the improvement of listening ability through picture storybooks in children at the Buah Hati Bunda PAUD in Kaur Regency. The research method used is Classroom Action Research (CAR) which was carried out in two cycles, where each cycle consists of four stages: planning, implementation, observation, and reflection. The research subjects were 12 children consisting of 7 boys and 5 girls. Data collection techniques were carried out through observation, documentation, and interviews, while data analysis used percentages. The results of the study showed an increase in children's listening ability in each cycle. In the pre-cycle, children's listening ability obtained a percentage of 38.8% with the category of Starting to Develop (MB), increased to 62.1% in the first cycle with the category of Developing According to Expectations (BSH), and increased again to 82.6% in the second cycle with the category of Developing Very Well (BSB). The results showed that children's listening skills increased by 43.8% from the initial to the final stage of the study. Based on these results, it can be concluded that the use of picture storybooks is effective in improving children's listening skills at the Buah Hati Bunda Early Childhood Education Center in Kaur Regency.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching (CRT) in fifth-grade elementary school mathematics instruction and to identify the challenges encountered during the process. The study employed a qualitative approach using a case study design at SD Negeri Mertan 01, Sukoharjo Regency. Data were collected through observation, semi-structured interviews, and documentation, and were subsequently analyzed using the Miles and Huberman model. The results indicate that the implementation of Culturally Responsive Teaching proceeded systematically through the planning, implementation, and evaluation stages by utilizing traditional houses as contextual media for teaching plane geometry. This approach was found to enhance students’ conceptual understanding, active engagement, and self-confidence. Challenges identified included low interest among some students in local culture, variations in student abilities, and limitations in the quality of visual media.

Abstract

Disclosure of information is one of the main principles in capital market activities aimed at providing legal protection to investors and creating a fair, orderly, and efficient securities trading system. Issuers as parties conducting public offerings have the responsibility to provide accurate, complete, and non-misleading information to the public. This study aims to determine the forms of issuer responsibility regarding information disclosure based on Capital Market Law and the legal consequences arising from violations of disclosure principles. The research method used is normative legal research with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results indicate that issuer responsibility regarding information disclosure is regulated under Law Number 8 of 1995 concerning Capital Market, which obligates issuers to submit periodic reports and material information to the public. Violations of disclosure principles may result in administrative, civil, and criminal sanctions. Proper implementation of disclosure principles can increase investor confidence in the capital market and provide legal certainty in investment activities.

Abstract

Islamic Religious Education is essentially a planned and systematic effort to guide, teach, and develop the potential of students based on the values ​​of Islamic teachings, with the aim of forming human beings who are insan kamil—faithful, knowledgeable, and have noble character. The purpose of this research was to normatively examine the position and role of Islamic Religious Education in the Indonesian National education system. This research method uses a descriptive qualitative approach through library research that explores various scientific and relevant sources. The results of the study found that the position of Islamic Religious Education in the national education system is very strong as a compulsory subject and is a major component in achieving national education goals. The role of Islamic Religious Education in the national education system is very fundamental, including the formation of character and noble character, the development of the spiritual dimension of students, the building of tolerance and national unity, and the improvement of the quality of national education as a whole.

Abstract

Investment plays an important role in increasing regional economic growth, especially in industrial areas in Riau Province. Legal certainty is a major factor influencing investors’ interest in investing because it relates to legal protection, licensing convenience, and guarantees for business activities. This study aims to determine the forms of legal certainty for investment in industrial areas in Riau Province and the obstacles in its implementation. The research method used is normative legal research with statutory and conceptual approaches. The results show that legal certainty for investment in Riau Province is regulated through Law Number 25 of 2007 concerning Investment, the Job Creation Law, and Regional Regulation of Riau Province Number 7 of 2018 concerning Investment in Riau Province. The regional government also provides incentives and investment facilities to increase the attractiveness of industrial areas. However, there are still obstacles in implementation, such as overlapping regulations, licensing issues, and supervision of industrial areas. Therefore, harmonization of regulations and improvement of investment services are necessary to create optimal legal certainty for investors.

Abstract

This study examines chairil anwar's poem "aku" appreciatively and critically from the perspective of individualistic expression. This study is motivated by the strong representation of individualism in the poem, which is displayed through the freedom, courage, and spirit of resistance of the lyricist character against social pressures and the limitations of life. The study aims to understand the aesthetic value and power of linguistic expression in the poem and to examine how the idea of individualism is represented through the language structure and attitudes of the lyricist character. The method used is descriptive qualitative research with a library research approach. Primary data consists of the text of the poem "aku," while secondary data are obtained from scientific journals, books, research articles, and various references related to literary appreciation, literary criticism, individualism, and expressive approaches. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentary studies to obtain and understand data related to the research object in greater depth. Data analysis is carried out by identifying the elements of the poem, grouping relevant data, interpreting the forms of individualism that emerge, and then examining them appreciatively and critically. The results of this study indicate that the expression of individualism in the poem "aku" (i) is constructed through the dominance of the pronoun "aku," the use of aggressive metaphors, violent imagery, and the lyrical character's courageous and defiant attitude. This poem possesses both aesthetic and profound philosophical value regarding the relationship between humans and themselves, society, and life. Thus, the poem "aku" (i) is a powerful representation of individualism in modern indonesian literature, embodying the spirit of freedom, existence, and resistance.

Abstract

Developing religious character forms the character and civilization of a dignified nation and to enlighten the life of the nation, it is necessary to instill the values ​​of Pancasila which aims to develop the potential of students to become human beings who believe and fear God Almighty, have noble character, are healthy, knowledgeable, capable, creative, independent, and become democratic and responsible citizens. The purpose of this study is to find out how the instillation of Pancasila values ​​​​is carried out by teachers in fostering the religious character of grade IV students at SDN 001 Sangatta Utara, and to find out what obstacles teachers face in instilling Pancasila values ​​​​in fostering religious character. The application of Pancasila values ​​​​needs to start from the home, school, and community environment. Therefore, the importance of applying Pancasila values ​​​​as a benchmark for achieving values, ethics, morals and attitudes in daily behavior. Thus, with the implementation of Pancasila values, it is hoped that students can apply and implement them in the learning process, such as by doing simple things like praying before starting lessons, obeying school rules and regulations, maintaining harmony with friends by prioritizing tolerance, being active and participatory in discussions to express opinions, and behaving fairly without discrimination. While upholding the motto "Bhinneka Tunggal Ika" (Unity in Diversity). Likewise, the application of Pancasila's core values ​​in Civics (PPKn) subjects in educational institutions requires coordination between educators and students to achieve a learning process that aligns with Pancasila values.

Abstract

The development of globalization and technological advancements in the Society 5.0 era have brought significant changes to social, cultural, and educational life, thereby necessitating the strengthening of students’ character. In a multicultural society such as Indonesia, education plays a role not only in developing cognitive abilities but also in instilling moral and social values. This study aims to analyze how multicultural education integrated with moral values can serve as a strategy to strengthen students’ character in the Society 5.0 era. This study employs a qualitative approach using a literature review (library research) design, analyzing various relevant scientific literature such as journal articles, academic books, and previous studies published within the last five years. The findings indicate that the integration of moral values into multicultural education can foster attitudes of tolerance, empathy, social responsibility, and appreciation for diversity among students. Implementation strategies can be carried out through the development of a values-based curriculum, the application of experiential learning, and the utilization of digital technology in the learning process. Thus, the integration of multicultural education and moral values can serve as a crucial approach in developing an adaptive character education model to address the challenges of the Society 5.0 era.

Abstract

This study aims to describe three types of semantic meaning, namely denotative, connotative, and grammatical meaning, contained in the Senandung Asa poetry anthology by students of SMAN 6 Surabaya. This study uses a qualitative approach with a descriptive method. The data source is the Senandung Asa poetry anthology, while the research data are in the form of words, phrases, lines, and stanzas containing denotative, connotative, and grammatical meanings. Data collection techniques are carried out through documentation and reading and taking notes. The results of the study show that 102 semantic data were found consisting of 26 data (25.5%) of denotative meaning, 36 data (35.3%) of connotative meaning, and 40 data (39.2%) of grammatical meaning. Grammatical meaning is the most dominant type of meaning and appears through the processes of affixation, reduplication, and composition. Connotative meaning is present through personification, metaphor, simile, hyperbole, and symbols, while denotative meaning is used to describe physical and factual reality straightforwardly. This finding shows that the poetry anthology Senandung Asa by students of SMAN 6 Surabaya displays the use of the three types of semantic meaning studied, with variations that reflect students' linguistic intuition and the influence of poetry learning at school.
