Abstract

Digital transformation in the health sector, especially in health services, where previously health facilities used manual medical records, switched to electronic medical records. The Technology Acceptance Model is a framework used to understand how users accept and adopt technology, in this case electronic medical records. This study aims to identifyuse of the Technology Acceptance Model on nurses' acceptance of the implementation of electronic medical records. This study used the scooping review method. Literature searches were obtained through 3 databases, namely PubMed and CINAHL, as well as Google Scholar with the keywords: Technology Acceptance Model, Nursing Documentation, Electronic Medical Record's. Articles were extracted manually through tabulation and analyzed using a descriptive analysis approach. The publication period in the article search is the last 10 years (2014-2024). Collecting data used manual table. There were 8 articles included in this study, where the results of the scoping showed a significant relationship between perceived usefulness and perceived ease of use on nurses' acceptance of attitudes and attitudes had a strong influence on intentions to use electronic medical records. The importance of management support in preparing electronic medical records from their usefulness and ease of use in supporting nursing service activities in health facilities.

Abstract

This research aims to determine the relationship between the characteristics of schizophrenia clients and the level of self-care ability in the women's psychiatry ward at HB Saanin Mental Hospital, Padang. This type of analytical descriptive research with a research design using a cross sectional approach and sampling was carried out using a simple random sampling technique with a sample size of 39 respondents. The data collection tool was carried out using an observation sheet filled in by the researcher, and data processing was carried out using a computerized system. The research results obtained that most of the respondents (66.7%) were middle adults (31-60 years), Most of the respondents (56.4%) were married, Most of the respondents (64.1%) had a high level of education, Most Most of the respondents (59%) had the status of having been treated for a long time, the majority of respondents (48.7%) needed assistive devices to level their self-care abilities. There was a significant relationship between age and the level of self-care abilities (p value = 0.012 < 0.05), status marriage with the level of self-care ability (p value = 0.000 < 0.05), education with the level of self-care ability (p value = 0.000 < 0.05), and length of stay with the level of self-care ability in the women's psychiatric ward at HB Saanin Padang mental hospital ( p value = 0.000 < 0.05). For respondents, it should be possible to increase the client's ability to carry out self-care activities that have been given therapy by officers, so that the more they demonstrate the ability to carry out good self-care activities, the more it indicates that the client is approaching good awareness.

Abstract

COVID-19 was an emerging disease that can be transmitted rapidly via droplets and aerosols with a high mortality rate. During pandemic, nurses had a high risk of contracting COVID-19 so efforts to prevent transmission need to be made by using personal protective equipment (PPE). N95 masks were the standard personal protective equipment recommended by WHO, however wearing N95 masks for a long period of time can cause physiological stress, namely breathing, body heat balance, vision, communication, feeling comfortable, difficulty eating and sneezing as well as other PPE worn. This study aimed to identify the effect of using N95 masks on oxygen saturation, hemodynamic status and physical performance in nurses at X Hospital. The research method used was a pre-experimental design, one group pre and post test, including one intervention group that measured lung function and physical performance. The sampling technique in this research was non-probability sampling with purposive sampling of 94 respondents. Respondents underwent a pretest, then lung function and physical performance were examined after 4 hours of using an N95 mask. The results of data analysis using the Wilxocon test showed that there were differences in oxygen saturation (p-value = 0.000), hemodynamic status such as respiratory frequency (p-value = 0.000), systolic blood pressure (p-value = 0.012) and pulse frequency (p- value = 0.000), as well as the physical performance of nurses (p-value = 0.000) before and after using the N95 mask. The results of this research can contribute to standardizing the use of PPE and preventing complications due to changes in oxygen saturation and hemodynamic status so that nurses physical performance improves.

Abstract

The Antimicrobial Resistance Control Committee explains that the rate of bacterial resistance in Indonesia has continued to increase from 40% in 2013 to 60.4% in 2019. One of the causes of antibiotic resistance is the lack of information regarding antibiotic knowledge among the general public. Preliminary study results show that the community knowledge in Banjaran Hamlet about the use of antibiotics is still low at 40%. The Indonesian Pharmacists Association created the health education program DAGUSIBU (Get, Use, Store, Dispose) as part of the Family Medicine Awareness Movement to improve the quality of life for the community. This study aims to determine the level of community knowledge about DAGUSIBU antibiotics in Banjaran Hamlet, Wonosari District, Klaten Regency. The method used in this study is descriptive quantitative, utilizing a questionnaire to assess community knowledge about DAGUSIBU antibiotics. The sample size was calculated using the Slovin formula, resulting in a sample of 190 respondents. The study results in Banjaran Hamlet showed that 71.58% fell into the good knowledge category, while 28.42% fell into the poor knowledge category. The results of this study are expected to help the community improve their knowledge about the proper use of DAGUSIBU antibiotics.

The sampling technique in this research was a total population of 62 people. Data were analyzed univariately and bivariately, univariate analysis was descriptive while bivariate analysis used the chi-square test to analyze the influence of each independent variable and dependent variable. The research results showed that clean water source had a significant influence on stunting occurrence, with a p-value of 0.002 (which is less than the significance level of 0.05). It could be concluded that clean water source significantly influences stunting occurrence.
