The questionnaire used was based on Herzbergh's motivation theory and the Manchester Clinical Supervison Scale 26-item (MCSS-26). Univariate analysis with frequency distribution, bivariate test using Chi Square, and multivariate analysis with logistic regression. The results show that there is dominant influencing factors supervision (3.178), attitude (2.921) and knowledge (0.138). The conclusion of this research is that there is a relationship between individual factors, psychological factors and organizational factors on adherence with five moments hand hygiene . Abstract

Stress and pain in premature babies can cause a decrease in oxygen saturation and changes in respiratory rate. Touch stimulation is one of the most advanced senses used by medical practitioners to soothe babies. Objective: This review aims to see the effectiveness of implementing infant massage therapy in increasing oxygen saturation in neonates. Method: A literature search was conducted on: PubMed, ScienceDirect, and CINAHL. The collected data is then extracted, synthesized, and presented as tables and narratives. The search strategy uses the keywords ("baby massage" OR "massage therapy") AND ("Neonatal") AND (Oxygen Saturation)). The articles used are from 2017 to 2023. Results: 757 neonates participated in 10 studies from 4 countries that met this review's criteria. The literature research design used was Quasi-experimental (n=4) and Randomized Controlled Trial (n=6). Conclusions: In this review, it was found that implementing massage therapy can increase the average percentage of oxygen saturation. This review also found that several studies agreed that massage therapy would be more effective when combined with the prone position. However, study results are still found to be inconsistent with these results. This may occur due to several factors including heterogeneity of implementation, differences in clinical conditions, and the lack of studies that specifically examine the effectiveness of implementing infant massage therapy on increasing oxygen saturation in neonates.

Abstract

Mental health remains an ongoing concern within both global and national contexts, with schizophrenia standing out as a significant manifestation marked by a spectrum of symptoms, including both positive and negative behavioral manifestations, such as violent tendencies. The propensity towards violent behavior signifies a facet of anger expression, often demonstrated through threats, self-inflicted harm, or harm towards others. This study endeavors to evaluate the emotional regulation capabilities of patients affected by this condition. Employing a descriptive research design, the study sample comprises 20 participants selected through purposive sampling methods. Data collection procedures encompassed observational techniques alongside structured interviews. Analysis of the gathered data employed univariate techniques, particularly through frequency distribution analysis. The findings underscore a prevalent tendency among patients to employ techniques such as deep breathing and physical engagement with pillows or mattresses as mechanisms for emotion regulation.

One of the teaching workers is elementary school teachers. Teachers are a vulnerable group and are at risk of experiencing problems in physical and psychological health. The psychological health problem that is often encountered in teachers is work stress. Teachers who experience work stress can be identified through their absence from class, increased emotions, and the illnesses they experience. One way for teachers to reduce work stress is to build self-efficacy. Self-efficacy is a belief in the teacher's ability to carry out teaching tasks. This research aims to determine the description of self-efficacy in elementary school teachers. This type of research is quantitative descriptive with a cross sectional approach which was carried out in elementary schools in the working areas of the Kembaran Regional Headquarters Office and the Purbalingga National Education Department Korwilcam Office. The sampling technique uses purposive sampling technique. The sample size of elementary school teachers was 25 people. The research instrument is the Teacher Sense of Efficacy Scale (TSES) questionnaire consisting of 12 items. The analysis used is quantitative descriptive. The results of this research show that 25 teachers have moderate category self-efficacy, indicated by the highest score in class management abilities. Teacher self-efficacy is the teacher's ability to engage students, classroom management, and teaching. Teacher self-efficacy is very important to be able to optimize teacher performance in the learning process.

Abstract

The human body regulates its temperature to normal levels when exposed to cold temperatures, which allows it to adjust to changes in its surroundings. The force of blood that the heart pumps against the artery walls is called blood pressure. Variations in fishermen's blood pressure may be affected by the cold working environment. The purpose of this study was to determine the comparison of blood pressure before and after exposure to air temperature in fishermen workers. With a single group pretest-posttest quantitative research methodology, this study used an experimental pre-research design. Univariate data analysis, bivariate using the Wilcoson test and multivariate using MANOVA testing. The study population was 57 fishermen of Tanjung Tiram District. By using the basic random selection approach, the research sample amounted to 50 respondents. Data collection using primary data obtained directly from fishermen workers on the Tanjung Tiram coast using digital tension meters and observation sheets. The analytical tool used is SPSS. The results showed that there was a comparison of blood pressure before and after exposure to air temperature, meaning that exposure to air temperature can increase blood pressure both systole and diastole, so maintaining health is needed for workers who work as fishermen.

Abstract

Labor pain is a physiological condition and is something that is usually felt by pregnant women in the third trimester. However, if it is not treated with proper pain management, it will cause other problems, including anxiety, stress/depression, muscle tension and feelings of worry. Labor pain can be reduced by using the Endorphin Massage technique, where this technique is therapy or massage carried out through the surface of the skin so that it can increase the feeling of comfort and can result in a block against painful stimuli. The aim of this research is to determine the effectiveness of endorphin massage to reduce back pain in third trimester pregnant women. This type of research uses a quasi-experimental design whose design uses one group pretest-posttest. The number of samples in this study was 15 third trimester pregnant women with back pain. Data analysis was carried out using univariate and bivariate methods using non-parametric tests with the Wilcoxon test, because the Wilcoxon test is used as an alternative to the paired sample t test if the research data is not normally distributed. The results of this study show a significant value of 0.00, which means that the value of 0.00 is less than 0.05, indicating that there is a difference before and after the endorphine massage technique is given.

Abstract

Emesis gravidarum is a common complaint presented by young pregnancies. Pregnancy causes hormonal changes in women because there is an increase in the hormones estrogen, progesterone and the hormone gonodotropin released by the placenta. These changes in hormones cause symptoms of dizziness and nausea and vomiting, especially in the first trimester of pregnancy. One of the aromatherapy that is often used is ginger, ginger aromatherapy is also effective in reducing emesis gravidarum in pregnant women in the first trimester of pregnancy and reducing nausea and vomiting in multigravida women. The content of essential oils in ginger which has a relaxing effect, gingerol and oleoresin which give a warming effect so that nausea and vomiting can decrease. The effect of ginger on the central nervous system was shown in animal experiments with gingerol, which resulted in a decrease in the frequency of vomiting. This study aims to determine whether there is an effect of ginger aromatherapy inhalation on emesis gravidarum in first trimester mothers at BPM Maghpiro. The design of this research is quasi experiment which is one group preposttest. The data analysis used is Bivariate analysis. Research time from April to July.
