Abstract

Employee performance is a vital determinant in attaining organizational objectives, influenced by factors such as job motivation, Organizational Citizenship Behavior (OCB), and Transformational Leadership. This study intends to investigate the influence of three factors on the performance of Generation Z employees in Bandung City, where this cohort represents a substantial portion of the workforce. Generation Z, having been raised in the digital age, exhibits unique traits relative to earlier generations, resulting in heightened expectations regarding job flexibility and the significance of their positions. Consequently, comprehending the elements that affect their performance is essential for firms aiming to improve the efficiency and productivity of this emerging workforce. The principal objective of this study is to examine the impact of work motivation, organizational citizenship behavior, and Transformational leadership on the performance of Generation Z employees in Bandung City. The study aims to determine if these three variables significantly affect employee performance, both independently and in combination. By comprehending the interconnections among these characteristics, firms can formulate more precise management strategies to improve Gen Z employee performance. This research seeks to address the paucity of studies regarding the impact of these characteristics on the Gen Z demographic, a topic with few investigation. This study utilizes a quantitative methodology including an explanatory research design. It use multiple linear regression analysis to investigate the impact of independent variables (work motivation, organizational citizenship behavior, and Transformational leadership) on the dependent variable (employee performance). Data will be gathered via surveys administered to 170 respondents, specifically Gen Z employees in Bandung City. Statistical tools, such as SPSS, will be utilized for data analysis, and hypothesis testing will be executed both partially and concurrently. This strategy seeks to elucidate the elements affecting the performance of Gen Z employees in the workplace.

Abstract

This article examines how a mining CSR-supported clean water program contributes to the emergence of a community-based water service institution in a post-mining context. Using the Andaru Mamulih Angsana Program implemented by PT Borneo Indobara in Angsana Subdistrict, Tanah Bumbu Regency, South Kalimantan, this study analyzes the institutionalization of KP-SPAMS Tirta Wangi and KP-SPAMS Tirta Lumintu Jaya as local clean water service managers. Rather than focusing solely on short-term aid delivery, the study explores how CSR programs can contribute to building local capacity for long-term service management. This study examines how the Andaru Mamulih Angsana Program institutionalizes community roles in post-mining clean water services through KP-SPAMS Tirta Wangi and KP-SPAMS Tirta Lumintu Jaya. It also investigates the role of Local Heroes as local institutional actors. The study applies a descriptive single-case study approach combined with document analysis. The primary data source is the 2024 Social Innovation Report of PT Borneo Indobara. The analysis draws on the concepts of co-production and community-based institutional entrepreneurship. The findings identify four institutional elements documented in the program: legal recognition, local organizational structures, financial arrangements, and shared social values. The report also indicates that Local Heroes function as intermediaries connecting the company, village government, and community members. The reported outputs demonstrate growth in household water connections, affordable tariffs, subsidy mechanisms, and documented program investment. These findings indicate early evidence of community-based service management. However, this study does not assess causal impacts; therefore, the findings should be interpreted as a document-based analysis that requires further field verification.

Abstract

Employee training and knowledge management processes play an important role in improving organizational competitiveness and sustaining company performance, particularly in the mining industry, which faces market dynamics, occupational safety demands, and rapid technological transformation. PT Vale Indonesia Tbk, as a nickel mining company, strives to maintain employee performance in alignment with its vision, mission, and strategic objectives. Therefore, systematic training programs and structured knowledge management practices are required. This study aims to evaluate the effects of employee training and knowledge management processes on the performance of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk and to analyze the simultaneous effects of both factors as efforts to strengthen organizational performance. This phenomenon is examined using a quantitative method with a survey design, in which primary data are collected through structured questionnaires distributed to employees of PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. The research instrument is developed based on Dessler’s (2020) training theory, the Nonaka and Takeuchi SECI model for knowledge management processes, and the Kaplan and Norton Balanced Scorecard framework for measuring employee performance. The collected data are analyzed using Partial Least Squares Structural Equation Modeling (PLS-SEM) to empirically test the relationships and effects among variables. The expected results of this study are to identify the extent to which employee training and knowledge management processes influence employee performance, both partially and simultaneously, thereby providing a basis for improving human resource development programs and knowledge management practices at PT Vale Indonesia Tbk. This study is also expected to contribute theoretically to the development of human resource management and knowledge management process research.

Abstract

The rapid growth of the digital economy has driven a significant increase in gig workers, including online transportation drivers who experience precarious working conditions characterized by income uncertainty and high time pressure. This research aimed to analyze the effects of income uncertainty and time pressure on work-related stress among Gojek drivers in Bandung. This study employed a quantitative approach with an explanatory research design. The research sample consisted of 140 Gojek drivers in Bandung City selected using an accidental sampling technique. Primary data were collected through a five-point Likert-scale questionnaire, while secondary data were obtained from company reports, official publications, and previous studies. The data were analyzed using Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) with the assistance of SmartPLS. The results indicated that all measurement indicators met the required validity and reliability criteria. Income uncertainty had a positive and significant effect on work-related stress, with a path coefficient of 0.424, a t-statistic of 6.206, and a p-value of 0.000. Time pressure also had a positive and significant effect on work-related stress, with a path coefficient of 0.335, a t-statistic of 4.363, and a p-value of 0.000. Simultaneously, income uncertainty and time pressure explained 36.8% of the variance in work-related stress. These findings indicate that income instability and occupational pressure are significant factors contributing to increased work-related stress among Gojek drivers. This research implies that digital platforms need to consider incentive policies, work system improvements, and measures to protect the psychological well-being of driver-partners.

Abstract

Accounting is a process that involves recording, processing, and presenting financial information so that the data generated in financial reports can be used by users as a basis for decision-making. Financial statements must be prepared in accordance with applicable Pernyataan Standar Akuntansi Keuangan (PSAK) and possess the characteristics of relevance, reliability, accuracy, credibility, and understandability for users. This study aimed to analyze the implementation of PSAK 241 on biological assets and its implications for the quality of financial reporting at PT Karya Semangat Mandiri. The study employed a qualitative approach using a descriptive case study method. Data were collected through interviews, documentation, and financial statement analysis, and were analyzed using interactive analysis techniques. The results showed that the company had implemented PSAK 241 in the recognition, measurement, presentation, and recognition of gains or losses based on fair value. However, inconsistencies remained in the disclosure aspect, particularly regarding the classification of biological assets and mortality information. These limitations affected the transparency of financial reporting. Therefore, improvements in disclosure practices are necessary to enhance the relevance and reliability of financial statements.

Abstract

This research aimed to analyze the cash flow statement as a tool for assessing the financial performance of the Khazanah Insan Mulia Sharia Cooperative. The analysis focused on four cash flow ratios, namely the Operating Cash Flow Ratio (OCF), Cash to Total Debt Ratio (CTD), Capital Expenditure Ratio (CER), and Cash Flow Coverage Ratio (CFCR), during the 2023–2025 period. The study employed a descriptive quantitative approach using cooperative financial statement data, including contribution receipts, principal deposits, loan activities, and operational expenditures. The results indicated that the cooperative’s financial performance was in a healthy condition, demonstrating an improving trend over the observation period. The cash flow statement provided a clearer overview of the cooperative’s liquidity, solvency, and financial management efficiency. Based on these findings, it can be concluded that the Khazanah Insan Mulia Sharia Cooperative demonstrated healthy financial performance with a continuous improvement trend from 2023 to 2025. In 2023, the cooperative was able to fulfill its short-term obligations effectively; in 2024, it experienced significant improvement through stronger operating cash flow performance; and in 2025, its financial condition became more stable, with no outstanding obligations, debt, or significant financial burdens, resulting in a strong cash position and a highly favorable liquidity condition. These findings highlight the importance of cash flow statement analysis as a basis for strategic decision-making to improve cooperative performance and long-term sustainability.

Abstract

The development of digital technology has changed consumer behavior in purchasing halal cosmetics through increased trust in digital platforms, the use of AI Beauty Influencers, and the sensory experiences offered by brands. However, research results on the role of Consumer Engagement in bridging this relationship still show mixed findings. This study aims to analyze the influence of Digital Trust, AI Beauty Influencers, and Sensory Marketing on Purchase Behavior among halal cosmetic consumers in Indonesia, with Consumer Engagement as a mediating variable based on Trust Transfer Theory. The study used a quantitative approach with the Structural Equation Modeling–Partial Least Squares (SEM-PLS) method. Data were collected through an online questionnaire from 200 respondents selected using a purposive sampling technique. The results showed that Digital Trust, AI Beauty Influencers, Sensory Marketing, and Consumer Engagement have a positive and significant effect on Purchase Behavior. Conversely, Sensory Marketing does not have a significant effect on Consumer Engagement, so Consumer Engagement is unable to mediate the effect of Sensory Marketing on Purchase Behavior. This finding strengthens Trust Transfer Theory, which states that trust in digital information sources and AI Beauty Influencers can be transferred into trust in products, thereby increasing consumer purchasing behavior. This research provides practical implications for halal cosmetic companies to strengthen digital trust, utilize credible AI Beauty Influencers, and optimize sensory marketing strategies to improve consumer purchase behavior.
