Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengetahui pengembangan E-LKPD menggunakan Heyzine Flipbook dalam pelajaran ekonomi pada siswa kelas XI SMA Cerdas Murni. Penelitian ini menggunakan metode penelitian berupa Research and Development, dengan teknik pengumpulan data berupa Observasi, Wawancara, Kuisioner atau Angket, Tes dan Dokumentasi. Subjek pada penelitian ini adalah seluruh peserta didik kelas XI IPS berjumlah 34 peserta didik. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa 1) pengembangan E-LKPD pada Website Heyzine Flipbook mendapatkan presentase 95% dari ahli materi dan tidak perlu untuk dilakukan revisi dan dapat dikatakan Sangat Valid. Sedangkan rincian validator ahli media pembelajaran diperoleh presentase 83% pada tahap I dan 94% pada tahap II dengan kategori “Sangat Valid” dan Hasil penilaian validator ahli praktisi pembelajaran (guru ekonomi kelas XI) diperoleh presentase 94% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. 2) Hasil uji kepraktisan atas respon peserta didik diperoleh presentase 94% dengan kategori “Sangat Praktis”. 3) Hasil uji efektifitas di peroleh presentase Ulangan Harian 44,12% yang tuntas dan 55,88% yang tidak tuntas sedangkan presentase pada post test juga mendapatkan nilai 83,3% dengan kriteria “Sangat Efektif” dan berdasarkan hasil pengukurn menggunakan Uji t paired sample test menujukkan t hitung (6.142) > t tabel (1.6932) dan p < 0,000 maka HO ditolak atau rata-rata nilai ulangan harian dan post test berbeda secara nyata dan signifikan

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the mistakes of class IX students of SMP Negeri 6 Madiun in solving geometric transformation story problems. The research method used was descriptive qualitative with research subjects being four students (one boy and three girls) chosen randomly from the class. The instruments used consisted of written tests and interview guidelines. The results of the analysis show that students face several main errors in the process of solving mathematics story problems. Identified errors included reading errors, where some students were unable to identify key information in the question; errors in understanding concepts, especially in applying the concept of geometric transformation correctly; difficulty in transforming story problems into appropriate mathematical models; errors in calculation process skills, where some students fail to carry out calculations correctly even though they use the right method; as well as errors in writing final answers, where some students did not include clear conclusions in their answers. The implication of these findings is the importance of improving student learning and coaching in critical aspects such as reading skills, understanding mathematical concepts, transformation abilities, calculation process skills, and answer writing strategies. This research contributes to the development of more effective mathematics curriculum and teaching methods at the junior high school level, with a focus on improving students' conceptual understanding and practical skills in solving mathematics problems in real contexts. It is hoped that the results of this research can become a basis for improvements in a more holistic and effective approach to mathematics learning in the future.

Abstract

In 2024, a new regulation was issued by the government through Permendikbud number 12 of 2024. One of the important points of the policy that was widely highlighted by the public on social media was that extracurricular scouting activities became optional activities that could be followed by students at the Elementary and Secondary Education levels. This article was written using the sentiment analysis research method using the nvivo application and the Naïve Bayes Classifier (NBC) analysis technique. The study was conducted on 1000 correspondents divided into 500 correspondents on Instagram and 500 on TikTok. The study revealed a number of scientific facts, namely First, as many as 73% of people on Instagram gave negative responses and were validated by 94% of people's responses on TikTok which also gave negative responses. Second, the dominant emotion expressed by people on social media was angry sentiment, as many as 49% of people on Instagram and 67% on TikTok. Third, the results of the NBC sentiment analysis found that the highest probability was in the negative sentiment category of 0.0191

Abstract

Philosophy of science plays a vital role in understanding and developing theories of truth in science. Theories of scientific truth encompass a range of concepts that influence how we view scientific knowledge and the methods by which it is established. Philosophy of science plays a fundamental role in the development of science by exploring basic concepts, including theories of scientific truth. Scientific truth is a principle that seeks to ensure that knowledge obtained through the scientific process is valid, testable, and universally accepted. Philosophy of science discusses various theories of truth, such as correspondence theory, coherence theory, pragmatic theory, and consensus theory, each of which offers a different approach to determining the validity of scientific knowledge. This paper explores how these concepts of theories of truth are applied in scientific research, including the role of verification and falsification in the scientific method, and how philosophy of science contributes to shaping standards of truth accepted in the scientific community. This study aims to understand how philosophy of science, through various theories of truth, contributes to improving the accuracy, validity, and objectivity of scientific research results. Thus, this study not only highlights the role of philosophy of science in providing a philosophical foundation for scientific truth, but also how philosophy of science encourages critical, reflective, and ever-evolving scientific practices.

Abstract

This study aims to improve the learning outcomes of seventh-grade students on the science topic of temperature and heat by incorporating mathematical operations practice at SMP Unggulan Ar Rahman. This research is a classroom action study, involving stages of planning, implementation, observation, and reflection, conducted during the even semester of the 2020/2021 academic year. The research subjects were 12 seventh-grade students. Data sources included both quantitative and qualitative data. The primary research instruments were the researcher’s observations and field notes for qualitative data, and evaluation questions for quantitative data. Data analysis employed both qualitative and quantitative methods. The results indicated an improvement in students’ learning outcomes, beginning with 71.67% in Cycle I, increasing to 80.45% in Cycle II, and reaching 89.58% in Cycle III. These findings suggest that practicing mathematical operations outside of regular science class time can enhance student comprehension and performance on the topic of temperature and heat.

Abstract

This research was motivated by the discovery of problems related to initial reading literacy skills in class II of Lakatan 3 State Elementary School, which still shows that there are still some students who experience difficulties in reading literacy, especially initial reading. The aim of this research is to increase students' initial reading literacy by using picture story books using classroom action research methods in collaboration with the homeroom teacher for class II at State Elementary School 3 Lakatan. This research uses Kurt Lewin's research model which has 4 stages in one cycle. The results of the research show that learning using picture storybook media can increase students' interest and motivation in learning so that the quality of the learning process increases. Using story books with pictures can also increase the literacy of students in class II of Lakatan 3 State Elementary School. The results of the research scores showed an increase from cycle I to cycle 2. The average percentage score increased from 65.4% to 86.1%. Classical completion in cycle I to cycle II also increased from 38.5% to 84.6%.

Abstract

This study explores the effectiveness of project-based learning (PBL) in enhancing students' understanding of chemistry concepts. Utilizing a qualitative approach and a case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, and document analysis, which were thematically analyzed. The results indicate that students have a positive perception of PBL, as evidenced by their active engagement in group discussions and experiments. PBL has been shown to improve the understanding of chemistry concepts, enabling students to explain and apply these concepts in real-world contexts. Three main themes identified are: (1) student engagement and motivation, (2) skills developed, and (3) barriers to the implementation of PBL. High levels of engagement and the development of social skills such as collaboration are key factors in the success of PBL. However, challenges such as difficulties in understanding complex concepts and disparities in student participation also emerged. The implications of the study highlight the need for a supportive learning environment to enhance student motivation. Recommendations for teachers include providing constructive feedback and clearly defining roles within groups. Future research is suggested to involve more participants and explore external factors influencing the effectiveness of PBL. Abstract

The study explores the development of language skills and assessment methods in Indonesian elementary education. Language skills are foundational for academic and social success, yet significant gaps remain in meeting basic competency standards. This research aims to evaluate the impact of language skills on students' academic achievements and to advocate innovative assessment techniques for improving educational outcomes. A literature review approach was adopted, drawing data from books, national and international articles, and other relevant sources. The study focused on analyzing the role of language skills and the effectiveness of various assessment forms, such as formative and summative evaluations, and performance-based assessments. The findings highlight significant deficiencies in students’ language skills, with only 60% meeting competency standards. Conventional evaluation methods, predominantly written tests focused on cognitive levels C1 and C2, fail to address students' comprehensive needs. Innovative approaches, such as formative assessments, dynamic evaluations, and performance-based assessments, show potential for holistic skill development. The study also underscores the importance of teacher training in adopting these advanced assessment methods. Performance-based assessments allow students to demonstrate language skills in practical contexts, fostering real-world applicability. Dynamic evaluations emphasize interactive processes, offering scaffolding support to enhance learning. However, implementing these methods requires overcoming barriers such as limited teacher expertise and traditional mindsets in educational institutions. Enhancing evaluation methods and teacher training can significantly improve language skills among elementary students, leading to better academic and social outcomes. By integrating innovative assessment techniques, this study provides a roadmap for bridging competency gaps and achieving meaningful educational progress in Indonesia.

Abstract

Peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif merupakan salah satu indikator keberhasilan proses pembelajaran di sekolah. Namun, dalam praktiknya, peserta didik sering mengalami kesulitan terutama dalam memahami konsep-konsep abstrak dan menerapkan keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik melalui penerapan media Google Lens berbantuan gambar pada materi Klasifikasi Makhluk Hidup. Metode yang digunakan adalah Penelitian Tindakan Kelas (PTK) dengan model Kemmis & McTaggart, yang terdiri dari empat tahap: perencanaan, pelaksanaan, observasi, dan refleksi, yang dilaksanakan secara berulang dalam dua siklus. Subjek penelitian adalah peserta didik kelas VII B di SMPN 2 Cikidang. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan adanya peningkatan hasil belajar kognitif peserta didik, yang ditunjukkan dengan peningkatan skor N-gain dari 0,39 pada siklus I menjadi 0,63 pada siklus II. Peningkatan paling signifikan terjadi pada indikator keterampilan berpikir tingkat tinggi (C3 dan C4), yang selama ini cenderung sulit dicapai. Simpulan dari penelitian ini adalah bahwa penggunaan media Google Lens terbukti efektif dalam meningkatkan keterlibatan dan pemahaman peserta didik terhadap materi, terutama dalam aspek pengamatan dan klasifikasi. Selain itu, peserta didik putri dan kelompok diskusi tertentu menunjukkan peningkatan yang lebih menonjol, yang dapat menjadi dasar pengembangan strategi pembelajaran diferensiasi di masa mendatang.
