Abstract

Piled raft system proves to be more effective on such problematic soft soil conditions. It takes the high vertical load and used to bring the settlement, differential settlement and tilting of structure within the permissible limit. Piled raft system proves to be cost effective than the conventional pile foundation system. Piled raft foundation accounts for complex soil-structure interaction, which needs interaction between structural engineer and geotechnical engineer. Geo-foam application is introduced below the footing to enhance floating resistance. The performance behavior of piled raft foundation in clayey soil and layered soil is carried out using laboratory experimental and then verified by 2D PLAXIS. There is a significant relationship between the decreases in settlement of the piled raft due to hydrostatic uplift.

Abstract

Pancasila is the ideology of the Indonesian state, which allows us to integrate the diversity that exists in Indonesia into a unified Indonesian state. Five important values are included as guidelines for the state of Indonesia. The revival of the values of Pancasila for state administrators has many implications. Start with being tough and sensitive to the surrounding issues, includingnational issues. Second, of course, if the state administrators have Pancasila values, the interests of the Papuan people will take precedence over the interests of individuals or groups. Furthermore, discipline in carrying out obligation. Besides that, they able to control himself, including his own family. The method for collecting data from articles uses a literature review from several literatures such as: magazines, books and also articles. The gap is still visible, because the results of the study show that the activation of the Pancasila values carried out in Papua has not been fully implemented. The most important key forin revitalizing these values is the application of principles by three elements of state government: local government local (Pemda), DPR Papua (DPRP), as well as Papuan People's Parliament (MRP). Andhope that we all can absorb, apply, and operate values in Pancasila in life in a country Unitary Republic of Indonesia.

Abstract

Hospitals in Indonesia in responding to service marketing, are far behind from neighboring countries, management problems, unfinished service standards, accreditation, dissatisfaction with service quality and others. This study aims to determine and prove empirically: the effect of service marketing mix performance and service value on patient trust, either partially or simultaneously. The object and scope of this research is the service marketing mix, service value and trust. While the research method used in this research is explanatory research method. The population and the unit of analysis were inpatients in class B private general hospitals, totaling 10 hospitals in the city of Medan, North Sumatra province, amounting to 200 people.Determination of the sample using the principle of random sampling, ie each member of the population has the same opportunity to be selected as a sample. NextSampling for this study was based on Yamane's sample size. The analysis used in this study is path analysis with the help of the SPSS application. This research resulted in findings in the form of developing the dimensions of the marketing mix from 7-Ps to 9-Ps, with the addition of professional dimensions and employee appearance. In general, from the results of the study, patients judged that the performance of the RSU's marketing mix was not entirely in line with patient expectations, including product, promotion and professional dimensions. The discrepancy between the dimensions of the product and the patient's expectations, because the services provided by the type of treatment class are different from the patient's perception, as is the case with doctor's consultation services. The discrepancy between the dimensions of promotion and patient expectations is due to a lack of information on the type of service.

Abstract

Many factors affect the existence of the current Joglo house. One of them is the lack of public understanding of the function of space and the architectural form of the Joglo house. Lack of understanding is a factor causing shifting cultural values. Therefore, this study aims to build this understanding by designing a product model of the Joglo House raft (mokit) as an interactive learning medium about building structures. A qualitative method is used with a design thinking process (design mindset) to achieve the research objectives. Design thinking consists of 5 stages: first, data collection (empathy); at this stage, interviews, observations, and surveys are carried out on students, architecture, and interior lecturers. Second, the definition stage is to determine the requirements and needs of the research. Third, the idea stage develops ideas and various alternative designs in the Mokit design by conducting FGD and brainstorming. Fourth, the prototype stage or making prototypes, and finally, the test or trial stage. However, this research is limited to the prototyping process, so that the final result of the research is a prototype of the Joglo traditional house mokit.
