Abstract

The aim of this research is to determine the increase in students' interest in learning by using the Nearpod learning application in Arabic language learning in Class VIII SMPS Muhammadiyah Bateballa, Bantaeng Regency. This type of research is classroom action research which consists of two cycles where each cycle is carried out in one meeting. Research procedures include planning, observation, action implementation, and reflection. The data collection techniques used are observation, questionnaires and documentation. The research process data was analyzed using qualitative descriptive techniques, while the student questionnaire data were analyzed using quantitative descriptive techniques. From the results of the Classroom Action Research, it was concluded that the learning interest of class VIII students at SMPS Muhammadiyah Batebala in learning Arabic, there had been an increase in learning interest while implementing the nearpod learning application on each indikator. In cycle I, the percentage increase for the happy feeling indikator was 34.12%, the attention indikator was 34.73%, the interest indikator was 21.74%, and the acceptance indikator was 43.48%. Then the average value in Cycle I was 26.08 then increased in Cycle II to 60.86 with an average percentage increase of 34.78.

Abstract

This study aims to find out what are the errors in reading 50 Arabic vocabularies using speech recognition found on google translate. This research is descriptive qualitative research, with collection techniques using observation and documentation techniques. Data used in this research is 50 vocabularies prepared for reading by 20 students. Data analysis techniques used in research it is an interactive data analysis. The research result obtained is that several vocabularies that have many errors, in the accuracy of letters, and there is also a vocabulary that has the correct letter and vowel accuracy. Errors found in using speech recognition very diverse, such as the arrangement of letters that do not match up with what is captured by the speech recognition function from google translate. Common reading errors in the vocabulary prepared by the researcher an error in the vocabulary ending in the letter Ta’ Marbutah “ة”. This is due to the arrangement of letters and vowels in the vocabulary prepared by the researcher is not by the result captures by google translate when students read it.

Abstract

The research is motivated by the low mastery of Arabic language mufradat by Islamic Religious Education (PAI) students at UIN Sjech M. Djamil Djambek Bukittinggi. Meanwhile، mufradat is very influential on students' proficiency in Arabic because mufradat is one of the components of Arabic. PAI students are required to understand Arabic because there are many courses whose reference books use Arabic such as Qawaid Imla '، Educational Manuscript Studies، Tahsin Al-Qur'an، Arabic Calligraphy، Fiqh Muamalat، etc. This study aims to determine the effect of audio-visual media on the mastery of mufradat of PAI students. This type of research is quantitative research with a quasi-experimental design method. Data were taken from the results of the pre test and post test in the control and experimental classes. After the data was processed using SPSS، the data obtained were not normally distributed. Therefore، to test the hypothesis، a nonparametric test was carried out، namely the Wilcoxon test. From the results of this test، it can be obtained a significance of 0.000 which is small from 0.05 with an error level of 5%، so according to the basis for decision making in the Wilcoxon test it can be say that Ha is accepted، that is، there is a significant effect of using audio-visual media on the mastery of mufradat of PAI students.

Abstract

This study aims to develop video-based Arabic reading learning media at Al-Azhar Islamic High School Kelapa Gading Jakarta. The research method used is development research with the ADDIE model. The subject of the study was a grade XI student of Al-Azhar Islamic High School Kelapa Gading Jakarta. Development research with the ADDIE model has five stages of research, namely: Analyze, researchers analyze student needs for the development of video-based learning media; Design, researchers collect material and design media to be developed; Development, researchers carry out the process of developing video-based learning media; Implementation, testing products that have been developed; and Evaluation, evaluating activities to determine the quality of media products that have been developed. The results of the material expert assessment get a percentage of 86.67% with the very decent category and the results of the media expert assessment get a percentage of 90.58% with the very decent category and the results of student assessment and evaluation get a percentage of 85.12% with the very decent category.  Based on the assessment above, video-based learning media is suitable to be used as an Arabic learning medium, especially in reading Arabic.

Abstract

This study aims to describe the competence of Arabic language educators in facing the challenges of globalization, both standard competence and complementary competence. This is considered important because all educators are faced with the era of globalization which is increasingly growing rapidly. This study used a qualitative descriptive approach. The data collection technique used is documentation. Data analysis techniques are carried out by descriptive analysis. The results of this study explain that in facing the era of globalization, Arabic language educators must have self-awareness about their roles, functions, duties, responsibilities, and obligations as educators. He must have standard competencies that have been formulated in the Law including paedagogic competence, personality competence, social competence, and professional competence. Complementary competencies that must be possessed in facing the challenges of globalization are the ability to adapt to the development of science and technology, information media, multiculturalism, and have a positive character.

Abstract

Language is a communication tool. With language, we can talk to know each other. In addition to the local language and the national language, namely Indonesian, we also know foreign languages. Foreign Language is currently a compulsory subject for students at all levels of education. Most of the foreign languages spoken are English and Arabic. Many students experience difficulties in learning both foreign languages, especially in learning Arabic. In learning Arabic, there are four skills that must be mastered, namely maharah istima' (listening skills), maharah qiro'ah (reading skills), maharah kalam (speaking skills), and maharah kitabah (writing skills). Writing skill (maharah al-kitabah) is the highest skill of the four Arabic language skills. Writing is an activity related to thought processes and expression skills in written form. In order to make learning more efficient, an educator is required to be creative in conveying learning material, this is done so that learning writing skills becomes more fun and can help students in learning Arabic. One of the media that can be a solution is the crossword puzzle (TTS) game media. This study aims to explain the media for learning Arabic games in the form of crossword puzzles in maharah kitabah.Keywords: Maharah kitabah, learning media, Al-Kalimah Al-Mutaqati'ah  Bahasa adalah alat komunikasi. Dengan bahasa, kita dapat berbicara mengenal satu sama lain. Selain bahasa daerah dan bahasa nasional, yaitu bahasa Indonesia, kita juga mengenal bahasa Asing. Bahasa Asing saat ini menjadi mata pelajaran wajib bagi pelajar disemua jenjang Pendidikan. Kebanyakan bahasa asing yang dipakai yaitu bahasa Inggris dan bahasa Arab. Banyak siswa yang mengalami kesulitan dalam mempelajari kedua bahasa asing tersebut, terutama dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab. Dalam mempelajari bahasa Arab, ada empat keterampilan yang harus dikuasai yaitu maharah istima’ (keterampilan mendengar), maharah qiro’ah (keterampilan membaca), maharah kalam (keterampilan berbicara), dan maharah kitabah (keterampilan menulis). Keterampilan menulis (maharah al-kitabah) merupakan keterampilan tertinggi dari empat keterampilan berbahasa Arab. Menulis adalah kegiatan berhubungan dengan proses berpikir serta keterampilan ekspresi dalam bentuk tulisan. Agar pembelajaran lebih efisien, seorang pendidik dituntut menjadi kreatif dalam menyampaikan materi pembelajaran, hal ini dilakukan agar pembelajaran keterampilan menulis menjadi lebih menyenangkan dan dapat membantu siswa dalam kegiatan belajar bahasa Arab. Salah satu media yang dapat menjadi solusi adalah media permainan Teka Teki Silang (TTS). Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menjelaskan media pembelajaran permainan bahasa Arab berupa teka teki silang (Al Kalimah Al Mutaqati’ah) dalam maharah kitabah. Kata kunci: Maharah kitabah, Media pembelajaran, Al-Kalimah Al- Mutaqati’ah

Abstract

Waw is the 27th letter of the alphabet. It is public and more like the middle letters. Its exits from the statement of the first tongue and the middle of the upper palate, its origin and Yo, are likely to be replaced by J. And be in the original words as the word was promised, and extra as in the word Mansour, and instead as in the word is authorized. Types of waws include: waw oath, waw (lord), waw (with), waw that focuses the present tense, waw emotion, waw appeals, waw alwaw, waw o8, waw male pronoun or waw group, wow by the raised sign, waw male pronoun or F group. By this message, it is easy for us to understand and study waw in general Waw in Surat Yassin in particular. The researcher found 166F in Surat Yassin, including: 1F Al-Qasim, 52F, Kindness, 24F, Appeals, 5F, Status, 17F with mark of lifting, 67F, Conscience.

Abstract

This research shows the definition of the worker's work from the work and its provisions, and it shows the surahs that contain the worker's work from the work in the thirtieth part of the Qur'an. As for the research methods that the researcher uses to study this writing, it is the qualitative research approach, in terms of its type. From this research, the researcher knew that the worker's occupation of the work is a preceding object, even if two sentences are nominative and accusative. The nominative is like the subject and the accusative is like the object. Also, the researcher knew that six surahs that contain the preoccupation of a worker from the work in the thirtieth part of the Qur’an, namely, Surat Al-Duha, Surat Al-Shams, Surat Al-Fajr, Surat Al-Naza’at, Surat ‘Abs, and Surat Al-Naba’. The researcher found that the worker is busy with what is done in the thirtieth part of the Qur’an. There are ten verses that contain work, which are two verses in Surat Al-Duha, verse: 9 and 10, three verses in Surat Al-Shams, verses: 5,6, and 7, one verse in Surat Al-Fajr, verse: 15, one of the verses in Surat Abas, verse: 20, two verses in Surat Al-Naza'at, verses: 30 and 32, and the other from the verse of Surat Al-Naba, verse: 29.

Abstract

تهدف هذه الدراسة إلى تحليل الأخطاء الصوتية التي يرتكبها لطلاب مدرسة الثانوية الحكومية 4 منديلنج ناتل في تعليم اللغة العربية. استخدمت هذه الدراسة المنهج الوصفي النوعي. لجمع بيانات البحث، فإن الطرق المستخدمة هي طرق الاستماع وطرق التسجيل. إن فهم علم الأصوات العربي مهم جدا لتجنب تحريف الأصوات العربية. أظهرت نتائج هذه الدراسة أن الأخطاء الصوتية لدى الطلاب والتي تحدث غالبا أثناء أنشطة القراءة تكون في صوت الصوامت (ذ، ز، ش، خ،ظ). العامل الذي يسبب النطق الخاطئ للأصوات الصوامت هو أن الطلاب لا يعرفون نقطة نطق الصوت الصوامت على الإطلاق وهذا صوت الصوامت ليس له أي شيء مشترك مع اللغة الأم للطالب لذلك يجدون صعوبة في نطق الصوت ذلك.

Abstract

This research aims to determine students' difficulties when taking Arabic lectures from the linguistic aspect (phonology and morphology). This is useful for improving the material in the modules provided so that the modules are based on the needs of students at Padang State University. The research method used descriptive quantitative, with informants taken by purposive sampling as many as 55 student representatives from each faculty who attended Arabic language lectures. The results of the research stated that from a linguistic aspect in terms of phonology, students felt about 65.5% of the difficulties were found in 19 letters that were difficult to pronounce, 20 letters that were similar in pronunciation and difficulty in determining the intonation of a vocabulary letter. In terms of morphology, 68.4% of the difficulties were found in differentiating the forms of isim/noun and fi'il/verb, differentiating types of words, determining changes in the form of an object and changes in fi'il. This difficulty causes students to not be maximally active in learning Arabic.
