Abstract

This research was conducted based on interviews conducted during pre-research at Truntum Hotel Padang, which found several problems related to Knowledge Sharing and Employee Performance such as lack of employee knowledge of the work station and not achieving the quantity of employee work. The purpose of this research is to analyze the effect of knowledge sharing on employee performance at Truntum Hotel Padang. The method in this research is quantitative, causal relationship. The population in this study were all employees at Truntum Hotel Padang, totaling 78 employees. The sampling technique used is non-probability sampling, which is a saturated sampling technique that uses the entire population as a sample. Sources of research data were obtained from primary data by distributing questionnaires to respondents, namely employees, then secondary data obtained from companies. The research instrument uses a questionnaire (questionnaire) with the arrangement based on a Likert scale. Instrument trials were carried out by means of validity tests and reliability tests. The results of this study (1) namely the knowledge sharing variable shows an adequate category with a percentage of 44%, (2) then on the Employee Performance variable it shows an adequate category with a percentage of 54%. (3) Based on the results of the hypothesis testing used, the regression coefficient equation is 0.397 with a sig value of 0.000 <0.05, meaning that every 1 point increase in Knowledge Sharing units increases 0.397 Employee Performance units. The R Square value is 0.150, meaning that the influence of the X and Y variables is 15%.

Abstract

This study begins with employee complaints about the heavy workload and work stress caused by work so that it affects Turnover Intention at The Sanchaya Bintan. The purpose of the study was to determine the effect of workload and work stress on Turnover Intention at The Sanchaya Bintan. This type of research is causal associative with a quantitative approach used the survey method, to find out the effect of workload (X1) and work stress (X2) on Turnover Intention (Y) at The Sanchaya Bintan. The population in this study were all employees at The Sanchaya Bintan, with a sample of 115 respondents. The sampling technique used in this study was non-probability sampling with saturated sampling. The data collection technique was carried out by distributing questionnaires using a Likert scale that has been tested for validity and reliability. In testing the hypothesis using the Multiple Linear Regression test, the results of the study are: Data collection techniques are carried out using a questionnaire (questionnaire), whose validity and reliability are tested with a Likert scale. The results of this study are: (1) Workload in the good category (70.5%), (2) Work stress in the good category (71.98%), (3) Turnover Intention in the good category (71.91%). Multiple Linear Regression Test with a calculated F value of 25,538 with a significance of 0.000 <0.05, where the workload and work stress variables have a significant effect on Turnover Intention, with an Adjusted R Square value of 0.301.

Abstract

Employee performance in hotels is one of the factors that determine the development of a hotel. If the employee's performance is good, the company's goals will be achieved. But on the contrary, if the employee's performance is poor it will result in the service provided to guests not being optimal so that it will have a negative impact on the hotel. Therefore, employee performance is important to considered and researched in a company. One of the interesting hotels to research is Natra Bintan a Tribute Portfolio Resort. This type of research is quantitative research with a descriptive approach. The total of samples in this study is 84 people taken using saturated sampling techniques. The data collection technique uses a questionnaire arranged according to a Likert scale. Hypothesis testing uses factor analysis test with the help of the SPSS version 26 program. The purpose of this study is to analyze what factors influence employee performance at Natra Bintan a Tribute Portfolio Resort and analyze the factors that are most dominant in influencing employee performance at Natra Bintan a Tribute Portfolio Resort. The results of the study obtained the Kaiser Meyer Olkin test value (KMO) of 0.904 > 0.5 so that it can be stated that factor analysis is appropriately used to analyze the data obtained. Meanwhile, the results of the Barlett's Test of Sphericity state the results of significance at 0.000 <0.5 so that it can be concluded that there is a significant correlation matrix with a number of factors. Based on the total value of Variance Explained, there are 3 factors that are formed and have eigenvalues > 1 so that it can be concluded from this study that there are 3 factors that are formed, namely correlative factors, self-composition factors and working order factors that affect employee performance at Natra Bintan a Tribute Portfolio Resort.

Abstract

This research was conducted of this research is the work loyalty of Whiz Prime Hotel Padang employees which is influenced by the work environment and organizational culture. The aims of this study: 1) To know the effect of work environment and organizational culture on employee loyalty, 2) to describe work environment, 3) to describe organizational culture, 4) to describe employee loyalty. And the type of research used is quantitative research with a causal associative approach. The research was conducted at Whiz Prime Hotel Padang. For the population of this study as many as 62 people. And for the selection of this research sample, namely a saturated sample with a total of 62 people. And the data collection technique used is the Likert Scale which has been tested for its validity and reliability. The analysis technique of this study used multiple linear regression analysis which was processed with the help of the SPSS version 26.00 program. So the results of the study show that 1) There is a significant influence of the work environment and organizational culture on employee loyalty by 55.7%, 2) the work environment is in the fairly good category with an achievement score of 45%, 3) Organizational culture is in the category quite good with an achievement score of 42%, 4) Employee Loyalty is also in the fairly good category with an achievement score of 36%.

Abstract

Surabaya Zoo is a popular tourist attraction for different people both in Surabaya city and around East Java. Surabaya Zoo pursues the concept of recreational and educational tourism with a total of about 3,500 species of animals. The purpose of this study was to determine the impact of attractiveness and tourist accessibility on the number of tourist visits to Surabaya Zoo. The research method used is a quantitative approach with correlation research. Using a targeted sampling method, her 50 respondents of working age had visited Surabaya Zoo. The results show that different attractions and accessibility influence tourist visit levels by 59.7%. However, the attraction variable has a greater and significant influence on the level of tourist visits with a value of 0.626. Meanwhile, the accessibility variable has no significant effect on the level of tourist visits with a value of 0.190.

Abstract

Based on data from Traveloka in booking rooms at 3 Star Hotels in Padang City, there was instability reservation from December 2022 to June 2023 and there was also customer dissatisfaction with customers who made online room reservations which caused a lack of customer trust in Traveloka. This research aims to analyze the influence of e-service quality and trust on the decision to purchase a room at Traveloka (study of a 3-star hotel in Padang City). The type of research that the author conducted was quantitative using an associative approach, this was used to determine the influence of E-Service Quality (X1), Trust (X2), on Purchasing Decisions (Y). The population of this research is Traveloka customers who make room reservations via the Traveloka Site at 3 Star Hotels in Padang City. The sample for this research consisted of 350 respondents and used a sampling technique, namely a non-probability sampling technique using purposive sampling. The independent variables examined in this research are E-Quality Service and Trust for the dependent variable, namely Purchase Decisions using PLS-SEM analysis techniques and data descriptions. The results of this research show that the E-Quality Service and Trust variables have a positive effect on purchasing decisions.

Abstract

This research aims to analyze the influence of room facilities on guest satisfaction staying at the Pesona Alam Sangir hotel. This research is quantitative descriptive research with a causal associative method. The method used in sampling is non probability sampling with a purposive sampling technique. The analysis techniques used in this research are validity test, reliability test, quantitative descriptive analysis, assumption test (normality test, linearity test, and coefficient of determination test). The sample used was guests staying at the Pesona Alam Sangir hotel. The results of the research show that: (1) Room facilities are in the quite good category overall with a percentage of (38%), (2) Guest satisfaction is in the quite good category overall with a percentage of (49%), (3) Linear regression test results simply obtained a calculated F value of 686.500 with sig 0.000 <0.05 then regression can be used. This means that room facilities have a significant effect on guest satisfaction. The results of the regression coefficient equation are 0.854 with sig. 0.000 < 0.05, meaning that every increase of 1 unit of room facilities will increase 1 unit of guest satisfaction. Then the R Square value is 0.762. This means that room facilities influence guest satisfaction by 76.2%, while 23.8% are influenced by other factors.

Abstract

The most dominant factor in someone’s return to a tourist attraction is a memorable experience. The purpose of this study is to determine and describe the effect of Tourist Experience at Istano Basa Pagaruyung. This study uses quantitative research with a survey method with a sampling technique using purposive sampling and a sample size of 204 respondents based on the Jacob Cohen formula. The data collection technique in this study used a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The data that has been collected is analyzed using simple linear regression analysis with the help of SPSS (Statistic Product and Service Solution) version 27. The variables focused on in this study are Tourist Experience (variable X) and Revisit Intention (variable Y). The results of the study are Tourist Experience is included in the sufficient category with a mean of 60.02 statistical calculations are in the classification of 53.335-<64.004 has a percentage of 46% and Revisit Intention is included in the sufficient category with a mean of 48.37 statistical calculations in the classification of 43.335-<52.004 has 58%. The study proves that between the two variables there is a significant impact between tourist experience and revisit intention at Istano Basa Pagaruyung by 32% while the rest is influenced by other factors.

Abstract

This research is driven by the researcher's observations concerning online hotel booking intention on the Agoda platform. The development of guest visit rates has experienced a significant decline, with fewer guests opting to check in using the Agoda platform compared to other online travel agents. This is influenced by the perceived lack of usefulness and ease of use on the Agoda website. The objective of this study is to describe and analyze the impact of usefulness and ease of use on online hotel booking intention on the Agoda platform. The research methodology employed is quantitative research using purposive sampling, with a sample size of 130 respondents determined using the Hair formula. Data collection in this study utilized a questionnaire with a Likert scale that had been tested for validity and reliability. The collected data was analyzed using multiple linear regression analysis with the assistance of SPSS (Statistical Product and Service Solution) version 27.00. Based on the research analysis, it can be concluded that the independent variables, usefulness (X1) and ease of use (X2), have a positive and significant influence on the dependent variable, which is online hotel booking intention. Usefulness (X1) and ease of use (X2) collectively account for 24.7% of the variance in online hotel booking intention (Y), while the remaining 75.3% is influenced by other variables.

Abstract

Social media is one of the promotional tools that influence tourists' visiting decisions. Through social media, especially Instagram, tourists can easily access the official accounts of the tourist attractions they are going to. Tourist decisions can be influenced by several factors, namely tourist attractions, ease of accessibility and also reviews from other visitors. This research focuses on the influence of Instagram social media and tourist attractions on tourist interest in visiting. This study will try to find out how the influence of the two independent variables on the dependent variable. The research method in this study is quantitative research with sampling using probability sampling techniques. This research was conducted at Becici Pine Peak, Yogyakarta, by distributing questionnaires to visitors who came. From the results of distributing questionnaires, it was found that the majority of visitors came from within the Yogyakarta area and had an average age of 20 to 30 years. The results showed a significant influence between the 2 independent variables (X1) and (X2) with the dependent variable (Y). The presence of social media such as Instagram makes it easier for tourists to make decisions before visiting Becici Pine Peak, Yogyakarta.
