<![CDATA[This community service program aims to support junior high school science teachers across Pacitan Regency in developing instructional tools grounded in deep learning principles. The program adopted a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach implemented through systematic training and mentoring activities involving 74 science teachers. The activities were organized into two main sessions. The first session focused on enhancing teachers’ conceptual understanding and providing practical guidance in designing deep learning–oriented instructional tools. During this stage, participants developed initial drafts that emphasized higher-order thinking skills, inquiry-based learning strategies, and the integration of digital media. The second session consisted of collaborative evaluation and refinement of the drafts through feedback from facilitators and fellow participants. The evaluation process employed facilitator assessment instruments to examine the alignment of the instructional tools with deep learning principles, along with participant questionnaires to document teachers’ perceptions and learning experiences. Quantitative data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative feedback from facilitators and participants was examined to support the interpretation of the findings. As a result, each participant produced a finalized deep learning–based instructional tool tailored to the specific needs of their classroom context. The findings indicate that 95.67% of participants rated the program as very good, and 93.4% reported an increased understanding of deep learning concepts. To ensure the sustainability of the program outcomes, all finalized instructional tools will be compiled into a single volume and submitted for ISBN registration. Overall, this initiative enhanced teachers’ pedagogical and technological competencies and provides a replicable model of professional development for other science education contexts.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aims to enhance elementary school students’ understanding of and interest in science through the implementation of interactive experiments based on the concept of natural pH indicators. The program was conducted at SD Athalia, Tangerang, involving 132 fifth-grade students who were divided into five groups of 26–27 students to ensure active participation. The implementation stages included an introduction to basic pH concepts, experimental demonstrations, and hands-on activities in which students created drawings using “invisible ink” made from a baking soda solution as a basic substance and turmeric as a natural pH indicator. The turmeric solution changed color from yellow to reddish-brown in areas that reacted with the base, revealing previously hidden images. The results indicate high levels of student enthusiasm, active participation, and curiosity toward science learning. These findings demonstrate that simple, activity-based experimental approaches are effective in fostering students’ interest in and initial understanding of science, while also representing a tangible contribution of higher education institutions to improving community science literacy.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aims to strengthen students’ digital literacy skills in addressing the challenges of 21st-century learning at SMA Labschool Palu. The program was implemented using a participatory and collaborative approach through socialization, training, and interactive mentoring activities that directly engaged students in the practical use of digital media for learning, particularly in history education. The program involved 35 students and was conducted over a four-day period. Evaluation instruments included documentation, interviews, observations, and pre-test and post-test assessments. Data were analyzed using descriptive quantitative and qualitative techniques. The results indicate that the program was implemented effectively and had a positive impact on improving students’ digital literacy skills. This improvement is reflected in an increase in the average pre-test score from approximately 76.4 (moderate category) to approximately 85.2 (high category). In addition, students were able to produce high-quality digital history posters, demonstrating a deep understanding of the learning materials and effective application of digital literacy in history learning.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aims to enhance the productivity of gourami fish cultivation at POKDAKAN Mina Perkasa through the implementation of an integrated aquaculture system, strengthen consumer trust through the establishment of business legality for processed products, and expand market reach through the utilization of the POKDAKAN website. The program was implemented using a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach oriented toward community empowerment and involved 17 members of the POKDAKAN. Program evaluation was conducted using a trend and change analysis and analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that POKDAKAN Mina Perkasa has successfully developed an official website and obtained business legality, thereby increasing consumer confidence in its processed products. This program generated direct and tangible impacts, including the adoption of technological innovations in the form of product legality and a group website, improved knowledge and skills in product marketing, and enhanced independence and sustainability of aquaculture-based enterprises.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aims to enhance teachers’ skills and creativity in producing natural herbal soaps derived from fresh fruits. The program was implemented at MI Assalafiyah, Kediri Regency, using socialization and hands-on training methods. The training began with the administration of a pre-test, followed by the delivery of instructional materials and practical sessions. A post-test was conducted at the final stage to evaluate participants’ understanding and the skills acquired. The results indicate that the herbal soap–making training was highly beneficial in equipping teachers with new practical skills. A significant improvement in participants’ competencies was observed, as reflected in the increase in mean scores from the pre-test (50.38 ± 19.36) to the post-test (85.33 ± 11.06). Furthermore, this training has the potential to be integrated as an extracurricular activity in schools to support students’ skill development, particularly in herbal soap production.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aims to enhance Islamic financial literacy competencies among women creative entrepreneurs in Jepara Regency through a service-learning approach. The program was implemented through educational sessions, interactive training, and case-based simulations involving 40 participants. The evaluation instrument consisted of a closed-ended questionnaire based on a 5-point Likert scale, and the data were analyzed descriptively by calculating mean scores and the percentage of achievement for each indicator. The results of the program indicate that participants’ understanding of Islamic financial principles reached 85%, comprehension of the differences between Islamic and conventional financial systems reached 90%, interest in adopting Islamic financing reached 80%, confidence in financial decision-making reached 75%, and readiness to use Islamic contracts reached 80%, demonstrating significant achievements. Overall, this community service activity had a positive impact in encouraging the sustainable adoption of Islamic finance, thereby supporting the development of creative enterprises in Jepara.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service activity aims to strengthen the capacity of Curug Cilember tourism managers to utilize social media as a creative and informative promotional tool capable of reaching a wider market. Through a participatory approach and technical training, lecturers and students from Universitas Terbuka provided intensive assistance covering visual content creation, social media account management, digital storytelling techniques, and promotional campaign evaluation. The results of the program demonstrate an increase in participants’ understanding and skills, particularly in designing attractive visual communication strategies aligned with the natural tourism characteristics of Curug Cilember. In addition, the activity raised participants’ awareness of the importance of digital branding in the management of community-based tourism destinations. Supported by grant funding and close collaboration between academics and the local community, this initiative is expected to expand Curug Cilember’s promotional reach to national and international audiences and contribute to increased tourist visitation as well as improved economic welfare of the surrounding community.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aims to enhance the understanding and skills of the Dani indigenous community in Merauke Regency in utilizing social media as a marketing tool for local agricultural products. The program was implemented through training activities involving 10 female participants (mama-mama) who work as agricultural produce traders. The digital marketing training was conducted in four stages: observation, preparation, training, and evaluation. To measure the effectiveness of the program, participants were administered pre-test and post-test assessments. The evaluation results show an increase in participants’ average scores from 65 in the pre-test to 78 in the post-test, indicating a significant improvement in their understanding of digital marketing concepts. This training not only provided technical knowledge but also contributed to community economic empowerment through enhanced digital literacy. The findings demonstrate that practice-based and contextual training is effective in strengthening the capacity of local communities to respond to the challenges of the digital economy.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aims to improve teachers’ understanding and skills in developing instructional materials based on the deep learning approach. The program was implemented through training and mentoring activities involving 35 mathematics teachers. Evaluation instruments consisted of two questionnaires: a 17-item questionnaire measuring teachers’ understanding of the deep learning approach and a 14-item questionnaire assessing teachers’ skills in developing deep learning–based instructional materials. The questionnaire data were analyzed descriptively. The results indicate that the teachers’ average level of understanding of the deep learning approach reached 83.63%, while their skills in developing instructional materials reached 82.62%, both of which fall into the very good category. These findings imply that the program effectively enhanced teachers’ understanding and skills in designing deep learning–based instructional materials and supports government efforts to implement deep learning–oriented instruction.]]>

<![CDATA[This community service program aims to enhance the understanding and skills of members of the Jajan Pasar Bugen Utara business group regarding the importance of innovation and preservation techniques for Putu Mayang as an effort to revitalize a traditional culinary heritage of Semarang City. The activities were implemented through socialization, training, technology application, and intensive mentoring. Evaluation was conducted using pre- and post-test questionnaires and analyzed descriptively. The results of the program indicate a significant improvement in participants’ knowledge related to innovation and preservation of Putu Mayang, as reflected in increased test scores at both individual and group levels. The development and implementation of an electrically powered Putu Mayang molding device were also successfully achieved, enabling faster and more efficient production. Product preservation was further improved, with shelf life increasing from approximately four hours to about 5.5–6 hours through appropriate cooking techniques, as well as the application of vacuum packaging and chiller storage for extended durability.]]>
