Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance digital literacy among members of the Aisyiyah Community in Burneh Subdistrict and to support the realization of Indonesia’s Golden Generation 2045. The program was designed to equip participants with knowledge and skills in utilizing digital technology through a cybergogy-based learning approach. The implementation methods included planning, introduction, digital literacy training, collaborative practice, evaluation, and sustainable follow-up. A total of 37 community members participated, representing diverse backgrounds such as homemakers, entrepreneurs, and teachers. Evaluation instruments consisted of a pretest, a posttest, and a questionnaire administered via Google Forms. Statistical analysis revealed a significant difference between pretest and posttest scores (Asymp. Sig. < 0.05). The average N-Gain score of 0.62 (moderate category) indicated an improvement in participants’ understanding. Participant responses were also positive, with an average Likert scale score of 3.25, reflecting tangible benefits from the training. A key success factor was the use of Smart TV media, which enabled facilitators to deliver content more interactively and engagingly. Additionally, the provision of rewards helped boost participant motivation. A follow-up impact of the program was the establishment of a smart classroom at TK ABA 4, serving as a sustainable outcome of the training. Overall, this community service activity effectively enhanced digital skills, learning motivation, and community engagement, while serving as a strategic model for integrating technology into community-based education in the digital era.

Abstract

This community service program aimed to enhance students’ ability to develop independent career plans by applying the mind mapping technique through the Coggle application. The program employed a coaching approach utilizing the IGROW model, which consists of five key components: Intention, Goal, Reality, Options, and Will/Way Forward. The participants of this training were students from SMK GIKI 1. To ensure a systematic and practical coaching process, the IGROW model was implemented throughout the sessions. The results showed that the training effectively equipped students with the ability to visualize and plan their careers systematically, including mapping their interests, further education goals, and required skills. Evaluation findings indicated a significant improvement in students’ understanding of career planning, as evidenced by the difference between pre-test and post-test scores. Therefore, this training was proven effective in helping students prepare for their future careers in a more structured and potential-oriented manner.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to minimize business losses by applying the Economic Order Quantity (EOQ) method, which optimizes inventory ordering to reduce costs based on customer database analysis. The implementation of this program employed the Participatory Rural Appraisal (PRA) approach, consisting of several stages: pre-implementation, education, mentoring, training, and evaluation. The results show a significant reduction in business losses from 40% to 10%. In addition, sales increased from 30% to 60%, and customer growth rose from 33% to 67%. The impact of this program indicates that the partner is now able to reduce business losses, increase sales, expand the customer base, and develop two new banana-based product variants—pisang molen and pisang sale—which contribute to higher business profits.

Abstract

This community service program aims to support junior high school science teachers across Pacitan Regency in developing instructional tools grounded in deep learning principles. The program adopted a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach implemented through systematic training and mentoring activities involving 74 science teachers. The activities were organized into two main sessions. The first session focused on enhancing teachers’ conceptual understanding and providing practical guidance in designing deep learning–oriented instructional tools. During this stage, participants developed initial drafts that emphasized higher-order thinking skills, inquiry-based learning strategies, and the integration of digital media. The second session consisted of collaborative evaluation and refinement of the drafts through feedback from facilitators and fellow participants. The evaluation process employed facilitator assessment instruments to examine the alignment of the instructional tools with deep learning principles, along with participant questionnaires to document teachers’ perceptions and learning experiences. Quantitative data obtained from the questionnaires were analyzed using descriptive statistics, while qualitative feedback from facilitators and participants was examined to support the interpretation of the findings. As a result, each participant produced a finalized deep learning–based instructional tool tailored to the specific needs of their classroom context. The findings indicate that 95.67% of participants rated the program as very good, and 93.4% reported an increased understanding of deep learning concepts. To ensure the sustainability of the program outcomes, all finalized instructional tools will be compiled into a single volume and submitted for ISBN registration. Overall, this initiative enhanced teachers’ pedagogical and technological competencies and provides a replicable model of professional development for other science education contexts.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance elementary school students’ understanding of and interest in science through the implementation of interactive experiments based on the concept of natural pH indicators. The program was conducted at SD Athalia, Tangerang, involving 132 fifth-grade students who were divided into five groups of 26–27 students to ensure active participation. The implementation stages included an introduction to basic pH concepts, experimental demonstrations, and hands-on activities in which students created drawings using “invisible ink” made from a baking soda solution as a basic substance and turmeric as a natural pH indicator. The turmeric solution changed color from yellow to reddish-brown in areas that reacted with the base, revealing previously hidden images. The results indicate high levels of student enthusiasm, active participation, and curiosity toward science learning. These findings demonstrate that simple, activity-based experimental approaches are effective in fostering students’ interest in and initial understanding of science, while also representing a tangible contribution of higher education institutions to improving community science literacy.
