Abstract

The purpose of this community service is to assist Sumampir Village in compiling the Village Spatial Planning (RTRD) document as a guideline for development, attracting investment, and optimizing village potential. The method used is participatory planning through focus group discussions (FGD) and field surveys, by actively involving the community in identifying priority areas and formulating spatial strategies. The service partners include village officials and community representatives, who provide data, input, and aspirations that are important for the planning process. The evaluation instruments for this activity include assessing the specificity of priority areas set out in the RTRD document, the level of community understanding and participation during the process, and the alignment of priority area plans with village potential. The data analysis technique used is a combination of quantitative and qualitative methods, with depiction as the main tool for processing and visualizing data collected during FGDs and field surveys. Spatial data analysis using GIS is used to map regional potential based on criteria such as accessibility, legality and land availability, and economic potential, supported by field validation and stakeholder input. The resulting maps, created using tools such as ArcGIS, visually illustrate the findings and provide a strong foundation for data-based decision-making in village spatial planning. The results of this service show that Sumampir Village now has a well-structured RTRD document that identifies priority areas with significant potential for development and investment. This document is aligned with local policies, visions, and collective aspirations, which serve as a strategic reference for sustainable village growth and empower local actors in spatial management.

Abstract

This community service activity aims to provide sexual education and prevent early marriage to teenagers using a holistic psychological counseling and parenting approach, from a legal, social, and midwifery perspective. The method of implementing this service used counseling and mentoring on sexual and reproductive health education using a question-and-answer design. The targets of this activity were teenagers from Batu Mekar Village, West Lombok Regency who were still of school age using a questionnaire instrument which was then statistically analyzed using the t test. The results of this service showed that teenagers were aware of the impact of early marriage and understood anemia, and sexual reproductive health about the incidence of early marriage and stunting. By implementing this community service program, a youth posyandu/youth class was successfully established at the Bumi Sehat Clinic. This is useful in providing a forum for teenagers to discuss and consult regarding sexual, physical, and mental reproductive health issues as well as positive activities to prevent early marriage.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance students' understanding of sanitation practices and develop literacy and critical thinking skills based on higher-order thinking skills (HOTS) through the Smart and Healthy Children program conducted in the 3T (frontier, outermost, and least developed) regions of South Papua. The activities consisted of five stages: preparation, optimization of sanitation and literacy facilities, teacher training, student habituation, and evaluation. The evaluation instruments used interviews and student learning outcome tests which were then analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results of this community service program showed a significant improvement in students’ understanding across four aspects: the importance of sanitation, sanitation procedures, reading comprehension, and reading analysis. Moreover, positive behavioral changes were observed among students, including regular habits of bathing, hand washing, brushing teeth, using latrines, and trimming nails, all of which were monitored by teachers. The use of an outdoor learning garden also contributed to a more dynamic learning environment. Overall, the program not only successfully enhanced students’ health knowledge but also fostered enthusiasm and engagement in daily literacy activities, demonstrating its effectiveness in developing both sanitation awareness and literacy skills among students in the 3T regions.

Abstract

This community service program aims to enhance new students' knowledge and skills regarding safety, health, and the campus environment through the development of digital modules uploaded to the Learning Management System (LMS). The methodology employs a model designed using the ADDIE instructional design approach to ensure effectiveness and participant engagement. This module was accessed by 22 new students at Universitas Pembangunan Nasional “Veteran” Jakarta who completed the training online. A questionnaire was used as the data collection instrument to assess students' experiences, and the data were analyzed descriptively to evaluate the module's effectiveness in increasing safety awareness on campus. The results indicate that 77.3% of participants found the module easy to understand, and 68.2% were able to effectively identify campus safety facilities. Additionally, 63.6% of participants reported feeling more confident in handling emergency situations. These findings suggest that the digital module is not only relevant but also effective in enhancing the safety knowledge of new students. Therefore, further development of similar modules can significantly contribute to creating a safer and more sustainable campus environment.

Abstract

This community service aims to provide training and assistance in making business legality in the form of Halal Certificates (HC), Business Identification Numbers (BIN), and Household Industry Food License Numbers (HIFL) as an effort to support halal tourism in the Seberang Kota area. This service applied a Participatory Action Research (PAR) approach that emphasizes active participation from service participants to ensure the transfer of knowledge and skills. We employed objective-oriented, management-oriented, and participant-oriented monitoring approaches. Furthermore, we applied the participatory evaluation method by involving the community, facilitators, and project team. The results of this community service showed that there was an increase in participants' knowledge about the urgency of business legality, halal sharia provisions, and knowledge of the halal certification process. There is also a change in behavior from being unable to process legality to being able to access various online creation pages. At the end of the activity, the team submitted 24 BIN, HIFL, and CH documents.
