Abstract

The macopat art in Sumenep Regency, particularly in Aengdake Bluto Village, is a traditional cultural form with moral and religious educational values. Macopat serves as a medium for spreading values and education, instilling noble values within the community, especially in Java and Madura. However, in the current era of globalization, macopat art is rarely found and is at risk of disappearing. This study examines the issues surrounding the religious moderation values in macopat art in Aengdake Bluto Village, Sumenep. The research focuses on the implementation of macopat art and the religious moderation values embedded in it. This study employs a descriptive qualitative approach with a phenomenological method, involving interviews, observations, and documentation. The research subjects consist of macopat artists, local community members, and community leaders. The results indicate that the religious moderation values in macopat art include simplicity, tolerance, anti-violence, and accommodation toward local culture.

Abstract

This study explores the foundational theories of Deep Learning (DL), its implementation challenges, and its impact on personalization, learning adaptation, and student outcomes. Using a qualitative descriptive approach based on a literature review, secondary data was gathered from scientific articles and relevant publications. The findings highlight DL's significant potential in enhancing education quality through personalized learning, rapid feedback, and material adaptation. However, challenges such as infrastructure limitations, insufficient teacher training, and data privacy issues remain major obstacles. DL can also improve student engagement through curriculum integration. This study provides new insights into the application of DL in education and offers recommendations for further research. With collaboration among stakeholders, DL holds the potential to transform educational systems into more inclusive and adaptive frameworks

Abstract

This research aims to examine the outdoor learning approach at the Pokekea Megalithic Site in increasing historical understanding among Tadris Social Sciences (TIPS) students at UIN Datokarama Palu. This approach allows students to learn directly on site, develop observation skills, and explore local cultural values ​​and history. This research uses qualitative methods with data collection techniques through observation, interviews and documentation. The research results show that learning at megalithic sites can increase student enthusiasm and participation, deepen their understanding of historical concepts, and strengthen appreciation of local cultural heritage. Therefore, this approach is considered effective to be applied in history learning, especially involving historical sites as learning resources.

Abstract

This article aims to understand the phenomenon of hyperreality in the OOTD (Outfit of The Day) fashion uploads of visitors to Seduh Cafe in Pantai Kelapa, Tuban Regency, through the social media platform Instagram. This phenomenon is interesting because OOTD on Instagram often creates a world of hyperreality, where the boundaries between the real and the artificial become blurred. This research uses hyperreality theory, which suggests that the distinction between the real and the artificial has disappeared. The method used in this research is qualitative with a case study approach. Data were collected through observation, in-depth interviews, and documentation techniques. The data analysis technique follows the Miles and Huberman model which consists of three stages: data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing. The results showed that to display the ideal OOTD fashion, visitors to Seduh Cafe in Kelapa Beach often simulate their OOTD in various ways that exceed their original identity. This indicates that OOTD visitors to Seduh Cafe can create a world of hyperreality on Instagram, because every action they take has been simulated. Without realizing it, these visitors manipulate reality to cover the original reality, so that there is no longer a clear distinction between the real and the artificial. In fact, the artificial reality becomes more convincing and has drowned out the original reality itself.

Abstract

The aim of the research is to analyze the use of artificial intelligence (AI) technology and its impact on the character values ​​of students at Datokarama State Islamic University, Palu. In this technological era, AI is used in various fields, including education, which can influence the way students learn and interact. The research used a qualitative method approach, data collection was carried out through surveys and interviews with students and lecturers. The research results show that the application of AI in the teaching and learning process not only increases academic efficiency, but also contributes to the formation of student character, such as collaboration, Critical Thinking, creativity and self-confidence. Lecturers' efforts to strengthen character values ​​by providing examples, integrating values ​​in learning, creating a conducive learning environment, individual guidance and conducting comprehensive evaluations. This research recommends the wise use of AI in learning activities. The use of AI must be in line with strengthening character values ​​in students. It is hoped that these findings can become a reference for educational institutions in utilizing AI technology wisely to improve the quality of learning and student character.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of the edutainment learning model on the learning interest of eighth-grade students at SMPN 1 Tigaraksa, Tangerang Regency. The research employs a quasi-experimental method with a non-equivalent control group design. A total of 80 students participated, with 40 students in the control class using the lecture method and 40 students in the experimental class using the edutainment model. Data were collected through observation, documentation, and a learning interest questionnaire, and then analyzed using SPSS for Windows 24. The independent sample t-test results showed a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05, with the average learning interest score being 78.66 in the experimental class and 72.37 in the control class, indicating a significant difference in learning interest between the two classes. The implementation of the edutainment model's learning interest aspects is suggested as the key factor contributing to this increase.

Abstract

This study aims to analyze the effectiveness of Information and Communication Technology (ICT) integration in learning Social Studies in the digital era. The background of this research is the urgent need to improve the quality of education through pedagogical innovations that utilize technological advances. In the context of modern education, ICT has great potential to enrich learning experiences, increase student participation, and deepen understanding of social studies materials. The research method used is mixed methods which combines quantitative and qualitative approaches. Quantitative data will be obtained through questionnaires completed by students and teachers, while qualitative data will be collected through in-depth interviews and classroom observations. The samples of this research are social studies students and teachers in several junior high schools (SMP) in Bekasi City that have implemented ICT-based learning. The results of the study are expected to provide an overview of the extent to which ICT integration in social studies learning can improve learning motivation, active involvement of students, as well as learning outcomes. In addition, this study will also identify the supporting and inhibiting factors in the implementation of ICT in social studies classrooms, as well as provide practical recommendations for educators and educational policy makers. The conclusion of this research is expected to contribute significantly to the development of innovative and effective learning methods, as well as supporting efforts to improve the quality of social studies education in the digital era. Abstract

Today, there have been many empowerment programs are aiming to increase economic level of rural communities. Related programs often experience discontinuity regarding to meet the expectation of quick changes instead of considering the community circumstances. Empowerment is not limited to economic values only. Transmission of knowledge, preservation, and advancement of culture are also the form of empowerment. This study focuses on empowerment programs to explore knowledge and ability of elementary school students of SDK Gayak Filial Nobo related to recognizing and understanding their surrounding environment in Nobo Village, Adonara, East Nusa Tenggara. The purpose of this empowerment research is to inventory, identify, and documenting local knowledge through a visual capture and written form. Through participation action research approach (PAR), students as research participants along with researcher as facilitator carry out the visual documentation elicitation method which is then narrated in three languages: local language, Indonesian, and English. As a result, using the approach and method show students' ability to identify and narrate objects that have been captured through visual documentation. Learning activities became fun, yet research participants became more sensitive to their surrounding environment.

Abstract

One of the most popular social media platforms among students is TikTok, a short-video sharing platform widely used for entertainment. However, excessive and uncontrolled use of TikTok can negatively impact learning activities, such as decreasing the ability to manage time, plan tasks, and complete academic responsibilities independently. These abilities are referred to as Self-Regulated Learning (SRL). In social studies (IPS) learning, SRL plays a crucial role as it helps students understand concepts, manage their study time, and complete tasks in a structured manner. With strong SRL skills, students can maintain focus in IPS learning despite distractions like social media. This study aims to analyze the relationship between SRL in IPS learning and addiction to the social media platform TikTok. The research employs a quantitative approach using a correlational method and purposive sampling technique involving 196 respondents. The data analysis results show a significance value of 0.000 < 0.05 and a Pearson correlation coefficient of -0.440, indicating a significant negative relationship between SRL in IPS learning and TikTok addiction. This means that the higher the level of students' self-regulation in IPS learning, the lower their tendency to experience TikTok addiction. These findings highlight the importance of strengthening self-directed learning strategies to reduce the negative impacts of social media use. Abstract

The hashtag Indonesia Gelap is a phenomenon that describes the outpouring of disappointment from the community, especially the youth, towards policies made by the Prabowo-Gibran government, which are considered not pro-community interests and welfare. This phenomenon has developed into a cultural expression in the form of digital criticism in the form of hashtags and demonstrations as a response to perceived structural inequality. This study aims to examine the forms of expression of youth unrest through social media and collective movements, using the literature study method and the relative deprivation theory approach from Ted Gurr. The focus of the analysis is directed at the gap between the expectation of a decent life and the political reality that narrows the space for actualization of the younger generation. The results of the study show that social media is not only a medium of expression, but also an arena for symbolic consolidation that encourages real action. The emergence of hashtags such as #Narasi Indonesia Gelap, #KaburAjaDulu is a form of irony as well as resistance to the official state narrative. This study recommends the importance of formulating policies that are responsive to youth aspirations, as well as the need for open dialogue to reduce the distance between the state and citizens.
