Abstract

AbstrakKemampuan pemecahan masalah menjadi target kemampuan dalam matematika sehingga guru dituntut untuk menyediakan soal yang dapat melatih kemampuan berpikir tingkat tinggi dan kemampuan pemecahan masalah matematis siswa. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah menganalisis soal buatan guru dan tingkat kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam menyelesaikan soal HOTS. Jenis penelitian ini adalah penelitian analisis dokumen. Adapun subjek penelitian ini yaitu guru dan siswa kelas VIII SMP Pondok Pesantren Ulul Albab Makassar. Peneliti mengumpulkan soal latihan, soal ulangan harian, soal akhir semester, serta jawaban siswa. Soal dianalisis sesuai dengan taksonomi kognitif Bloom. Selanjutnya dilakukan reduksi data, penyajian data, dan penarikan kesimpulan. Hasil analisis menunjukkan soal-soal tersebut didominasi pada ranah kognitif pemahaman, pengetahuan, aplikasi, dan analisis. Kemampuan pemecahan masalah siswa dalam mengerjakan soal HOTS sebesar 70% berada pada kategori kurang, 15% berada pada kategori cukup, 20% pada kategori baik, dan 0% pada kategori sangat tinggi. Temuan lain dari penelitian ini yaitu ketidakmampuan siswa dalam pemecahan masalah yaitu merencanakan penyelesaian masalah, melakukan penyelesaian masalah dan membuat review atas rencana pemecahan masalah. Penyebabnya antara lain siswa tidak rutin menyelesaikan soal HOTS, kekhawatiran guru terhadap siswa kalau tidak mampu menjawab soal-soal matematika dan guru kurang memahami bentuk soal HOTS. Dengan demikian, melalui penelitian ini diharapkan guru dapat berlatih untuk membuat soal-soal matematika tipe HOTS ataupun diselenggarakannya pelatihan-pelatihan cara membuat soal-soal matematika tipe HOTS. AbstractProblem solving ability becomes the target of ability in mathematics so that teachers are required to provide questions that can train students' higher-order thinking skills and mathematical problem solving abilities. The purpose of this study was to analyze teacher-made questions and the level of students' problem-solving abilities in solving HOTS questions. This type of research is document analysis research. The subjects of this study were teachers and students of class VIII SMP Pondok Pesantren Ulul Albab Makassar. Researchers collected practice questions, daily test questions, end of semester questions, and student answers. The questions were analyzed according to Bloom's cognitive taxonomy. Furthermore, data reduction, data presentation, and conclusion drawing are carried out. The results of the analysis show that these questions are dominated by the cognitive domains of understanding, knowledge, application, and analysis. The problem solving ability of students in working on HOTS questions is 70% in the less category, 15% in the sufficient category, 20% in the good category, and 0% in the very high category. Another finding from this study is the students' inability to solve problems, namely planning problem solving, problem solving and reviewing problem solving plans. The causes include students not routinely solving HOTS questions, teachers' concerns about students if they are not able to answer mathematics questions and teachers do not understand the form of HOTS questions. Thus, through this research, it is hoped that teachers can practice making HOTS-type mathematics problems or holding trainings on how to make HOTS-type mathematics problems.

Abstract

AbstrakPendidikan pada bangku persekolahan terkadang tidak bisa diterima secara totalitas oleh semua peserta didik, dikarenakan peserta didik mempunyai gaya belajar masing-masing sehingga memunculkan sebuah permasalahan dalam proses pembelajarannya, khususnya seorang guru kadang dalam proses mengajar di kelas masih sering menggunakan media papan tulis dan metode ceramah hingga membuat peserta didik merasa bosan dan tidak mampu memahami materi yang disampaikan oleh gurunya. Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon yang valid, praktis, dan efektif. Penelitian ini mengadaptasi model pengembangan 4-D yang meliputi empat tahap yakni define (pendefenisian), design (perancangan), develop (pengembangan), dan disseminate (penyebaran). Berdasarkan hasil penelitian, diketahui tingkat kevalidan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon berada pada kategori sangat valid dengan nilai rerata sebesar 3,66. Tingkat kepraktisan media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon berada pada kategori sangat praktis dengan nilai rerata sebesar 3,53. Hasil tes peserta didik dikategorikan sangat efektif karena mencapai rata-rata hasil belajar 83,54 dengan interval >80). Sehingga media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon layak digunakan karena memenuhi tiga kriteria yakni kevalidan, kepraktisan serta keefektifan. Media pembelajaran biologi berbasis PowToon diharapkan dapat diimplementasikan pada kegiatan pembelajaran di kelas. AbstractEducation in school is sometimes not acceptable in totality by all learners, because learners have their own learning style so that it raises a problem in the learning process, especially a teacher sometimes in the process of teaching in the classroom still often uses whiteboard media and lecture methods to make learners feel bored and unable to capture the material delivered by their teachers. This research aims to develop a valid, practical, and effective PowToon-based biological learning medium. This research adapts the 4-D development model which includes four stages namely define (defining), design (design), develop dessiminate. Based on the results of the study, it is known the the level of validity of the PowToon based biology learning media is in the valid category and the mean value is 3.66. The level of practicality of the PowToon based biology learning media is in the very practical category with an average value of 3.53 student test results are categorized as very effective because they achieve an average learning outcome of 83.54 with intervals (>80). So that the PowToon based biology learning media is feasible to use because it meets three criteria, namely validity, practicality and effectiveness. PowToon based biology learning media is expected to be implemented in classroom learning activities.

Abstract

AbstrakPandemi Covid-19 menuntut para pendidik menerapkan pembelajaran dengan inovasi teknologi untuk mendukung pembelajaran jarak jauh yang efektif sebagai satu-satunya metode terbaik dari yang terburuk saat ini salah satunya adalah Blended learning berbasis platform. Tujuan dari penelitian ini adalah untuk mendeskripsikan konsep dan faktor pendukung pembelajaran Blended learning berbasis platform yang efektif pada masa pandemi covid-19 khususnya pada pembelajaran matematika. Jenis penelitian yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kepustakaan (library research). Dalam penelitian kepustakaan yang dilakukan ini data diperoleh dari berbagai buku-buku online, jurnal, majalah, dokumen, artikel online ataupun buku yang ada diperpustakaan yang berkaitan dengan strategi pembelajaran blended learning dan pembelajaran matematika pada masa pandemi covid-19. Instrumen pada penelitian kepustakaan ini adalah peneliti sendiri (human instrument). Adapun sumber datanya terdiri dari data primer dan sekunder. Selanjutnya, data-data baik primer maupun sekunder yang dikumpulkan diperoleh dengan cara membaca, mengkaji, memahami, dan mencatat literatur berkaitan dengan fokus penelitian ini. Teknik pengumpulan data dalam penelitian ini dilakukan dengan cara 1) mengumpulkan data-data berbasis pustaka artinya menggunakan buku-buku online, jurnal, majalah, dokumen, dan artikel online, 2) menganalisis sampai mendapatkan suatu kesimpulan. Teknik analisis data dalam penelitian kepustakaan ini terdiri dari analisis konten, deduktif, induktif, interpretatif, komparatif, dan historis. Hasil penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa blended learning sebagai strategi pembelajaran akan menjadi pembelajaran yang efektif atau tepat guna pada pembelajaran matematika jika didukung dengan platform yang tepat disertai instruksi-instruksi yang berbasis pembelajaran jarak jauh. Adapun komponen yang akan menjadi faktor penting yang dapat mendukung pembelajaran blended learning yang efektif selama pandemi covid-19 adalah a) jaringan yang stabil, b) literasi digital yang mumpuni mahasiswa maupun dosen, c) bahan ajar yang relevan dengan pembelajaran blended learning pada masa pandemi, d) perpaduan platform untuk mengatasi kendala-kendala yang mungkin terjadi dan menutupi setiap kelemahan yang dimiliki platform lainnya, e) rancangan proses belajar yang terstruktur. AbstractThe Covid-19 pandemic requires educators to implement learning with technological innovation to support effective distance learning as the single best method of the worst today, one of which is platform-based Blended learning. The purpose of this study is to describe the concepts and factors supporting effective platform-based Blended learning during the covid-19 pandemic, especially in math learning. The type of research used in this study is literature (library research). In this literature research conducted data is obtained from various online books, journals, magazines, documents, online articles or books that exist in the library related to blended learning strategies and mathematical learning during the covid-19 pandemic. The instrument in this literature research is the researcher himself (human instrument). The data source consists of primary and secondary data. Furthermore, both primary and secondary data collected are obtained by reading, reviewing, understanding, and recording the literature related to the focus of this research. The data collection technique in this study is done by 1) collecting library-based data means using online books, journals, magazines, documents, and online articles, 2) analyzing until you get a conclusion. Data analysis techniques in this literature research consist of content analysis, deductive, inductive, interpretive, comparative, and historical. The results of this study concluded that blended learning as a learning strategy will be an effective or appropriate learning in mathematics learning if supported by the right platform accompanied by instructions based on learning. The components that will be an important factor that can support effective blended learning during the covid-19 pandemic are a) a) stable networks, b) qualified digital literacy of students and lecturers, c) teaching materials relevant to blended learning in the pandemic period, d) the combination of platforms to overcome possible obstacles and cover every weakness that other platforms have, e) a structured learning process design.

Abstract

This article aims to outline the response of akhlaq philosophy to contemporary ethical thought. Library research is carried out by collecting data sources from books, and journals and other scientific articles. The data were analyzed using content analysis (content analisys). The results showed that filasafat akhlaq and ethical philosophy have a relationship, namely both studying the concept of good or bad values, as well as right and wrong. The fundamental difference between akhlaq philosophy and ethics is from the source of reference. Akhlaq refers to revelation and ethics refers to rationality.

Abstract

This study aims to describe whether there are differences in the memory abilities of students who are taught and not taught using the memory learning model in class X MIA SMAN 2 Sinjai. The research design used was the matching only posttest only control group design with two classes, one experimental class and one comparison class. The students' recall ability was measured using a recall ability test which was validated by two validators after the application of each model. The results of the descriptive study showed that the average value of the memory ability of students who were taught using the memory learning model was 78.4 in the high category with a percentage of 54.5%. In the comparison class, the average value of 70.2 was obtained in the medium category with a percentage of 40.9%. Furthermore, based on the results of statistical analysis for the ability to remember students, it shows that the memory learning model can improve the memory skills of students in class X MIA SMA Negeri 2 Sinjai. The implication of this study is that the results of this study indicate that the application of the memory learning model can improve students' memory skills and for further researchers, the results of this study can be used as comparison and reference material to find other learning models that can improve students' memory skills.

Abstract

This study discusses the quality of Mathematics Textbooks for Class XI Curriculum 2013 Revised 2017 Edition based on a scientific approach. This study aims to find out how the quality of the mathematics textbook is based on indicators in a scientific approach which include: (1) observing, (2) asking questions, (3) digging for information, (4) associating/reasoning and (5) communicating. This research is a quantitative descriptive study that displays the results of the data as they are without any manipulation or other treatment. The procedure in this study consisted of: (1) the preparation stage, by selecting the textbook to be analyzed in this case the researcher took the 2013 Revised 2017 Edition of the Mathematics Textbook of the Ministry of Education and Culture, (2) then collected data using document analysis techniques and carried out literature study using pre-determined instruments, to find out how the quality of the mathematics textbook is based on a scientific approach, (3) drawing conclusions from the data that has been obtained. Chapter I is 60%, Chapter II is 70%, Chapter III is 56%, and Chapter IV is 73%. As for the total number of chapters in the mathematics textbook of SMK class XI semester I, the percentage of quality textbooks based on the scientific approach is 64.75%. So, it can be concluded that the quality of mathematics textbooks for class XI curriculum 2013 based on the scientific approach is included in the "enough" category with the implementation of indicators in the scientific approach.

Abstract

Islamic education is a very important treasure to explore its ins and outs. The peak of the glory of Islam can be seen from its ability to rule various countries on earth. Including the Egyptian state that was once ruled by the Fathimid Daula. The victory of Islam in Egypt became something pautu to be proud of, because it has become a mecca of knowledge for other countries. Efforts to trace the history of Islamic education can stimulate the condition of Islamic education. The fall of Islam in Egypt became one of the factors driving Islamic scholars to act. Therefore, this paper will describe the history of Islamic education in Egypt. This paper is compiled in accordance with the data obtained in the form of library materials (library research) using descriptive-historical methods. Based on the study in this paper, it was obtained the development of Islamic civilization in Egypt and the decline experienced by Muslims in Egypt to move the hearts of Islamic thinkers.

Abstract

Stimulating six aspects of early childhood development is very important, especially in the aspect of religious values, especially in the achievement of developing worship. One way that can be done in improving the ability to do worship at an early age is to use the advice method. This service research aims to provide stimulation to aspects of children's value development in accordance with STTPA, namely to increase worship using the advice method at the age of 5-6 years. This community service research in the form of service learning was carried out at Aisyiyah Bustanul Athfal II Kindergarten Perumnas with a total of 4 children. The instrument used was an observation sheet and an evaluation of the implementation of the intervention. Data were analyzed using descriptive statistics. The results showed that the use of the advice method can improve the ability to do worship in children aged 5-6 years. The findings in this study imply that the advice method can be used for learning activities, especially in stimulating religious development.

Abstract

Problem posing is a problem-posing-based learning approach to train students' reasoning power and critical thinking skills. This study aims to determine whether the use of a problem posing learning approach is effective in improving mathematics learning outcomes. in class XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar. This research is a quasi-experimental research design using a nonequivalent control group design. The population in this study were all students of class XI IPA SMA Negeri 11 Makassar consisting of 165 students while the samples were students of class XI IPA2 as the experimental class and students of class XI IPA3 as the control class, each consisting of 33 students. The instrument used in this study was a test of student learning outcomes, in the form of pretest and posttest. The analytical technique used is descriptive statistical analysis and inferential statistical analysis. The research results show that the problem posing learning approach is effective in improving the mathematics learning outcomes of class XI science students. SMA Negeri 11 Makassar.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine the basic teaching skills of PPL students majoring in mathematics education in implementing the field experience program (PPL). This type of research is descriptive research with a qualitative approach. The research was conducted at MTs Madani Alauddin with subjects consisting of 6 students from class of 2014 Mathematics Education Study Program. Data collection was carried out using observation, interview, and documentation techniques. The data is then grouped into primary data and secondary data. Primary data comes from observations and interviews, while secondary data is obtained from documentation studies. The results showed that mathematics education students had fairly good skills in terms of opening lessons, explaining, asking questions, giving reinforcement, making variations, managing classes, guiding discussions, and closing lessons. However, in a number of indicators, students' mathematics education is not optimal, such as attracting attention, giving references/instructions, carrying out variations on teaching methods and variations on tools, attracting the use of methods and mastery of competencies, dividing attention, and evaluating indicators. There are several indicators that are not optimal because student knowledge about the 8 indicators of basic teaching skills is still lacking and preparation is not mature enough.
