Abstract

This research aims to produce instructional materials in the form of a problem-solving oriented digital e-module for fifth-grade elementary school students on the theme "Events in Life" that are valid, practical, and effective. The type of research used is development research using the ADDIE model, which consists of five stages: analysis, design, development, implementation, and evaluation. The subjects of the study are 26 fifth-grade students. The instrument used to measure the effectiveness of the problem-solving oriented digital e-module is a learning outcome test in the form of 10 essay questions. The effectiveness of the problem-solving oriented digital e-module is assessed based on the difference between pretest and post-test learning outcomes analyzed through N-Gain. The N-Gain analysis result is 0.77, which falls into the high category. Based on the N-Gain coefficient, it can be concluded that the problem-solving oriented digital e-module is effective. The implication of this research is that this problem-solving oriented digital e-module can serve as a reference in the development of digital e-modules for other themes or topics in science learning at the elementary school level. It can also be developed for different grade levels and subjects.

Abstract

The mathematical problem-solving ability of Indonesian students has declined significantly, as reflected in PISA 2022 results with an average score of 366, far below the OECD average. This decline is attributed to the disruption of the education system during the COVID-19 pandemic and challenges in distance learning. Studies highlight students’ difficulties in connecting math problems to real-life situations and performing basic math operations. Innovative learning methods like flipped classroom and problem-based learning have been shown to improve problem-solving ability. Common errors at comprehension and transformation stages indicate the need for teaching approaches that develop conceptual understanding. This study employs the Systematic Literature Review (SLR) method to analyze 30 articles on mathematical problem-solving within the PISA context (2018–2023). Findings reveal the effectiveness of systematic approaches like Polya's four-step method (see, plan, do, check) and the IDEAL model (identify, define, explore, act, look) in enhancing problem-solving ability. Learning styles and innovative models also play key roles. Adaptive and context-based learning strategies are recommended to improve students' critical thinking and problem-solving abilities. At the policy level, continuous teacher training in innovative methods and improved access to technology are essential. At the classroom level, integrating real-life problems and project-based learning is advised to enhance students’ engagement and skills. These strategies aim to address the challenges and improve PISA performance while fostering critical thinking.

Abstract

Quality education is part of the Sustainable Development Goals (SDGs) and is important for developing critical thinking and problem solving skills in students. Mathematics as a basic discipline, plays an important role at all levels of education, including junior high school. Students' mathematical connection ability in linking mathematical concepts with various other fields and daily life, needs to be developed. However, research shows that students' mathematical connection ability are still low. This study aims to analyze and synthesize empirical findings related to students' mathematical connection ability to provide a deeper understanding. The method used in this research is systematic literature review (SLR) with three stages (planning, conducting, reporting). Data collection was obtained from data based Google Schoolar using the Publish or Perish application. The results showed that innovative learning models, such as RME, CORE, and PBL with multimedia, proved effective in enhancing students' mathematical connection ability.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengembangkan media pembelajaran diorama pada materi sistem tata surya di kelas IV SD yang valid dan praktis. Penelitian ini menggunakan jenis penelitian dan pengembangan (Research and Development) dengan model ADDIE (Analysis, Design, Development, Implementation, and Evaluation). Subjek penelitian ini yaitu kelas VI SD Negeri 100 Palembang. Validasi dilakukan oleh 3 orang ahli yaitu ahli media, bahasa, dan materi. Berdasarkan hasil validasi aspek materi memperoleh nilai 83,7% dengan kategori sangat valid, aspek media memperoleh nilai sebesar 90,6% dengan kategori sangat valid. Kepraktisan dilakukan dengan uji coba one to onedengan populasi sebanyak 3 orang dan small group sebanyak 10 orang. Hasil angket kepraktisan one to one memperoleh nilai sebesar 91,3% dengan kategori sangat praktis dan angket small group memperoleh nilai sebesar 92,8% dengan kategori sangat praktis. Berdasarkan hasil data tersebut, dapat disimpulkan bahwa media diorama yang dikembangkan sangat valid dan sangat praktis untuk digunakan dalam proses pembelajaran.

Abstract

Mathematical reasoning ability refers to a person's ability to use logic and critical thinking in a mathematical context. However, in Indonesia, students' mathematical reasoning abilities from elementary school to tertiary college. Therefore, a more vary learning model is needed, such as the Problem Based Learning (PBL) model, to improve students' mathematical reasoning abilities. PBL focuses on solving real and relevant problems collaboratively. The research method used in this article is Systematic Literature Review (SLR). There are 35 articles that will be explained and are in accordance with this research from 2017-2023. The findings indicate that PBL effectively enhances mathematical reasoning abilities across various educational levels and covers a range of mathematical topics. Notably, PBL is more beneficial for students with medium and low academic abilities compared to those with high abilities. Additionally, some studies suggest that PBL may positively impact students' metacognitive skills, though further research is needed to identify other influencing factors. This study recommends additional research to explore these factors and to experiment with PBL models using different open materials.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk menguji secara empiris hubungan antara kesadaran diri peserta didik. Metode yang digunakan dalam penelitian ini adalah kuantitatif, dengan sampel sebanyak 121 peserta didik kelas XI SMA Pusaka 1 Jakarta Timur. Empat tahapan dalam mencapai kesadaran diri yaitu, tahap ketidaktahuan, tahap berontak, tahap kesadaran normal akan diri, dan tahap kesadaran diri yang kreatif. Didapati nilai Thitung > Ttabel sebesar 13,238 > 1,980. Diketahui Fhitung sebesar 175,232 > Ftable sebesar 2,7485. Hasil penelitian ini mengungkapkan bahwa Terdapat hubungan positif antara kesadaran diri dan kedisiplinan peserta didik di SMA Pusaka 1 Jakarta Timur.

Abstract

Media pembelajaran memiliki peran penting pada saat pembelajaran berlangsung dikelas yaitu salah satunya kahoot, media ini masih banyak belum digunakan oleh guru disekolah padahal kahoot merupakan media edukasi online berbasis kuis dengan berbagai fitur yang interaktif sehingga dapat menarik minat belajar siswa dan suasana pembelajaran dikelas menjadi menyenangkan. Terutama pada pembelajaran IPAS, sangat diperlukan media ajar yang menarik seperti media kahoot ini untuk terciptanya minat belajar sehingga siswa memahami materi yang diajarkan dengan baik. Oleh karena itu peneliti tertarik melakukan penelitian untuk mengetahui apakah ada Pengaruh Media Pembelajaran Kahoot Terhadap Hasil Belajar Siswa Kelas V Dalam Pembelajaran IPAS di SDN Ciracas 15 Pagi. Dalam penelitian ini, pendekatatan penelitian yang digunakan adalah kuantitatif eksperimen dan metode quasi eksperimen yaitu terdapat 2 kelompok sampel, kelompok pertama berlaku sebagai menerima perlakuan dan kelompok yang kedua sebagai kelompok control (tidak diberi perlakuan) dengan desain penelitian PostTest Only Control Design dengan pengambilan sampel menggunakan teknik purposive sampling untuk melihat pengaruh media Kahoot dikelas. Pengumpulan data dilakukan dengan mengerjakan soal kepada siswa yang terpilih sebagai sampel pada penelitian ini. Berdasarkan hasil olah data yang didapat dari penelitian ini yaitu memperoleh hasil nilai rata-rata post test sebesar 63.23 pada kelas control dan rata-rata hasil post test sebesar 68.60 pada kelas eksperimen. Hal tersebut menunjukan bahwa terdapat pengaruh pada kelompok yang diberi perlakuan menggunakan media kahoot, dan menunjukan bahwa hasil belajar IPAS siswa kelas eksperimen dalam kategori “baik”.

Abstract

The concept of usury (riba) remains a critical issue in the context of Islamic economics, with its prohibition deeply rooted in Islamic principles. This study examines the understanding of usury among the 11th batch of students at Institut Agama Islam Al-Zaytun Indonesia (IAI AL-AZIS) and its correlation with Buya Hamka's interpretations. The research focuses on assessing students' comprehension of the definitions, classifications, and impacts of usury from a Sharia perspective, as well as their awareness of its practical implications. Using a quantitative survey method, data was collected from 56 students across six study programs through questionnaires. The results indicate varying levels of understanding, with 73.2% of respondents demonstrating knowledge of usury in Islam, while others were uncertain or unaware. The findings underscore the influence of education, social environment, and access to religious knowledge on students' understanding. Buya Hamka’s interpretations, emphasizing usury as a form of exploitation and economic injustice, align with the Islamic prohibition of interest-based transactions. However, gaps in students’ knowledge reveal the need for improved educational strategies to promote Sharia-compliant financial practices. Recommendations include integrating Islamic finance principles into curricula, employing interactive teaching methods, and fostering greater awareness of ethical financial alternatives. This study highlights the importance of enhancing Islamic economic education to ensure adherence to Sharia principles and the promotion of equitable economic practices.

Abstract

Powtoon merupakan aplikasi teknologi berbasis web untuk membuat video edukasi yang membantu siswa dalam proses belajarnya. Oleh karena itu, penelitian ini bertujuan untuk meningkatkan efektivitas penggunaan media Powtoon dalam pembelajaran bahasa Indonesia di kelas V SDN Ciracas 15 Halaman. Metode penelitian yang digunakan adalah metode kuasi eksperimen kuantitatif yang terdiri dari dua variabel yaitu media Powtoon sebagai variabel bebas dan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia sebagai variabel terikat, dengan desain pre-eksperimental kelompok eksperimen melakukan pre-test kelas V. Dengan jumlah siswa yang menjadi sampel penelitian sebanyak 31 orang, dibantu dengan SPSS 25. Hasil penelitian menunjukkan bahwa Media Powtoon efektif meningkatkan hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia kelas V di SDN Ciracas 15 Halaman. buktikan jika nilai signifikansi lebih kecil dari 0,05 atau 0,000 < 0,05 maka Ho ditolak dan Ha diterima. Dengan demikian penggunaan media powtoon memberikan pengaruh yang signifikan terhadap hasil belajar bahasa Indonesia siswa sekolah dasar V. Penelitian ini menyimpulkan bahwa siswa kelas V SDN Ciracas 15 Pagi belajar bahasa Indonesia dengan baik dan meningkat melalui penggunaan media Powtoon.

Abstract

Penelitian ini bertujuan untuk mengevaluasi program pembelajaran matematika di SMK Dwijendra Denpasar secara komprehensif sehingga dapat menjadi rujukan untuk meningkatkan kualitas pembelajaran. Evaluasi dilakukan dengan mengikuti model CIPP (context, input, process, product). Subyek penelitian berjumlah 102 responden yang tergolong menjadi tiga kelompok yaitu kelompok pendidik dan pengambil kebijakan, kelompok tenaga kependidikan, dan kelompok peserta didik. Instrumen yang digunakan berupa kuesioner tertutup dengan lima rentangan jawaban. Data kuantitatif diolah dengan mengkategorikan skor berdasarkan rata-rata dan standar deviasi ideal kemudian mencari persentase pada masing-masing aspek. Hasil penelitian pada komponen context memperoleh kategori sangat baik pada aspek visi, misi, dan tujuan sekolah serta dukungan sekolah terhadap program pembelajaran matematika. Komponen input pada aspek dokumen kurikulum, sumber daya manusia, dan sarana prasarana dinilai sangat baik dan baik oleh ketiga kelompok reponden. Komponen process dinilai sangat baik pada aspek proses dan penilaian pembelajaran. Kemudian komponen product dinilai sangat baik dan baik pada aspek hasil belajar. Hasil evaluasi yang diperoleh mampu merekomendasikan beberapa upaya untuk mempertahankan dan meningkatkan masing-masing aspek dalam komponen CIPP. Penelitian berikutnya diharapkan dapat mengkaji tentang evaluasi pembelajaran matematika pada sekolah vokasi lainnya dengan model, kelompok subyek yang mencapai pihak yayasan atau pihak eksternal sekolah, dan instrumen yang berbeda.
