Garbage is now one of the biggest problems in Indonesia. Indonesia produces 64 million tons of garbage annually, most of which is household waste. If not properly managed, waste can block waterways, resulting in environmental pollution and health impacts. The method of community service activities is educational management of household garbage around the location of Emo-G Waste Bank Bogor district. The event was attended by 20 participants who were present and given a questionnaire at the beginning and end. The analysis results showed an increase in the average knowledge score of respondents related to garbage management, with an average pre-test score of 8,17 and a post-test average of 8,25. For the variable attitude towards garbage management, there was also an increase in the average score, where the pre-test score was 8,33, and the post-sitting score was 8,67. An increase was observed for the waste management behavior variable, with an average pre-test score of 7,42 and an average post-test score of 8,08. Abstract

The most common causes of death in Indonesia are non-communicable diseases such as stroke, chronic kidney disease, diabetes mellitus, and hypertension. Lack of physical activity will have the potential to cause non-communicable diseases. Intensive health education efforts are needed with various innovative uses of IT to improve PHBS, especially physical activity such as through short story films. This PKM aims to increase perceptions and motivation to do physical activity and test the effectiveness of community service interventions through health promotion with short story films about physical activity. The implementation method is to carry out pre and post-tests through data collection from primary data obtained from questionnaires and observation formats. This PKM will be carried out in May-June 2023 with 80 participants at the Ummi Ikhlas Jambi Orphanage, involving students in data collection. The results increased the perception and motivation to carry out physical activity in school-age children at the Ummi Ikhlas Orphanage, Jambi City, from 25% (pretest) to 100% (posttest). Abstract

Indonesia is prone to natural disasters, such as geological and hydrometeorological disasters. This is because the geography, geology, hydrology, climate, and population conditions in Indonesia are prone to disasters caused by non-natural factors such as natural disasters and man-made disasters. Both can cause loss of life, environmental damage, property damage, and psychological impact. This service aims to increase the general community's knowledge of Senkom Mitra Polri, particularly regarding basic life support. The implementation method, namely education using practical modules and training using mannequins, was carried out on February 28, 2023, at the Baitul Ilmi student boarding school building, attended by 30 participants from Gowa Regency and Makassar City. The stages of training implementation consisted of registration of participants, pre-test, provision of material, simulation of basic life support practices by participants one by one with team assistance, post-test, and skills test. This activity involved a doctor with an emergency background providing general material related to basic life support. The results showed that 80% of the trainees understood the material provided. It is hoped that this activity can form a first responder community and increase the role of the community, especially the police partner Senkom in rescuing cardiac arrest patients.

Abstract

Kampoeng Maggot is a subsidiary of Green Gunter Farm which operates in the livestock and fisheries sector which focuses on the BSF (Black Soldier Fly) maggot cultivation sector. The aim of this PKM is to identify potential hazards at Green Gunter Farm and increase workers' understanding of the importance of protective equipment and work compliance by providing interventions to control these potential hazards. The PKM method is carried out by identifying potential hazards and intervention in the form of counseling and creating work SOPs. The identification results show that the greatest risk of work hazards comes from potential ergonomic hazards due to the uneven terrain. Apart from that, workers are also not used to using complete personal protective equipment due to the lack of adequate SOPs. PKM results show an increase in workers' knowledge and attitudes about personal hygiene, PPE, and the work environment, as well as the availability of SOPs that guide safe work flows to minimize potential hazards and work risks.
