Abstract

This study investigates the effect of interpersonal trust among private university lecturers in Tangerang (i.e., trust in co-workers and leaders) on innovative behavior and examines the mediating effect of knowledge sharing on these relationship. A total of 74 lecturers from a private university in Tangerang participated in this research. The results revealed that trust in co-workers and trust in leaders had a positive effect on knowledge-sharing activities. Although the effect of trust in co-workers on innovative behavior is not significant, trust in leader has a significant effect on innovative behavior. The effect of lecturer knowledge sharing on innovative behavior was also found to be significant. In addition, the results showed that knowledge sharing had a full mediating effect on the relationship between trust in co-workers and innovative behavior and a partial mediating effect on the relationship between trust in leader and innovative behavior.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine work culture and work motivation as well as the joint influence of work culture and work motivation on job satisfaction of XYZ Bank employees in the City of Bukittinggi. For the sake of the image of the bank in the eyes of customers, the name of the bank is called XYZ Bank. This study took data from one of the banking institutions in the City of Bukittinggi, during the research period from February to October 2020, the quantitative research method was using questionnaire data collection techniques. The research variable of organizational culture (X1) and work motivation (X2) as independent variables, while job satisfaction (Y) as the dependent variable, with a population of 50 employees of Bank XYZ, all of them were sampled, using total sampling technique. The results of the research on organizational culture (X1) and work motivation (X2) have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of XYZ Bank employees, and simultaneously the variables of organizational culture and work motivation together (simultaneously) have a positive and significant effect on job satisfaction of bank employees XYZ.

Abstract

The purpose of this study is to reveal the effect of organizational structure (X1) on the effectiveness of land rights certification services (Y) at the Land Office of West Pasaman Regency, to determine the influence of leadership (X2) on the effectiveness of land rights certification services (Y) at the Pasaman Regency Land Office. West, to determine the effect of the ability of Human Resources (X3) on the effectiveness of land rights certification services (Y) at the Land Office of West Pasaman Regency and to jointly determine the effect of organizational structure, leadership and human resource capabilities on the effectiveness of rights certification services. on land at the West Pasaman Regency Land Office. The research respondents were 35 employees of the Land Office of West Pasaman Regency who did not have a structural position (not as an element of leadership), the data was taken by the census method, meaning the number of respondents in the population was the same as the sample. The analytical tool used is Multiple Linear Regression using the SPSS (Statistical Package For Social Science) program. The findings of this study; 1) there is an influence between organizational structure and service effectiveness, there is a significant influence between organizational structure and service effectiveness at the West Pasaman Regency Land office, 2) there is a significant influence between leadership and service effectiveness at the West Pasaman Regency Land Office, 3) There is an influence between the ability of Human Resources and the effectiveness of services and there is a significant influence between the ability of Human Resources and the effectiveness of services at the Land Office of Pasaman Barat Regency, and 4) there is a joint influence of the organizational structure, leadership and capabilities of Human Resources on the effectiveness of services at the Land Office of West Pasaman Regency.

Abstract

The achievement of educational goals is very dependent on the leadership skills and wisdom of the principal who is one of the educational leaders. Therefore, this study examines how to become a professional school principal. The aims of this study are: (1) To find out how the professionalism of the principal's leadership depicts, (2) To find out how the tasks carried out by the principal, (3) To understand the role of the principal, (4) To find out the problems faced in realize the professionalism of the principal, (5) To know and understand the solution efforts in realizing the increase in the professionalism of the principal. The method of this study is observation, interviews and literature studies on the practice of principals' leadership in Indonesia. This study concludes that the principal is a formal leader who cannot be filled by people without being based on certain considerations. Therefore, the principal is responsible for carrying out leadership functions, both related to achieving educational goals and in creating a conducive school climate, which fosters the spirit of educators and students. Detailed discussion and suggestions are given at the end of this study.

Abstract

The purpose of this study was to determine The Effect of Job Stress on Employee Performance. The research uses quantitative methods. For data analysis and hypothesis testing, SPSS version 26 is used. The test results show that work stress has a significant and negative effect on employee performance. Based on the coefficient of determination test (R2), the contribution of work stress to employee work performance is 0.783, or 78.3%, the rest is explained by other variables that do not exist in this study.

Abstract

This study aims to examine the effect of charismatic leadership on the psychological safety climate and tacit knowledge sharing. This study also investigates the central role of psychological safety climate as a mediating variable between charismatic leadership and tacit knowledge sharing. This study adopted a simple random sampling method with 61 samples of ustadz/ustadzah from a Pesantren in Banten. The results of this study indicate that charismatic leadership has a significant direct influence on the climate of psychological security and tacit knowledge sharing. Likewise, the psychological safety climate has a significant direct influence on tacit knowledge sharing. This study also finds evidence that charismatic leadership has a significant indirect effect on tacit knowledge sharing through the mediation of a psychological safety climate. Thus, the psychological safety climate acts as a partial mediator in this research model.

Abstract

Few menu analysis techniques have been embraced so readily and institutionalized as quickly as menu engineering. Hotel Istana Nelayan is a 3-star hotel located in Tangerang City, Banten. Hotel Istana Nelayan has a restaurant with various menu variants on the ala carte menu of Krakatau Resto and Coffee Shop. This research aims to review the application of menu engineering analysis in increasing sales volume at the Istana Nelayan Hotel. The research method uses a qualitative approach using descriptive analysis with the menu engineering analysis method. This analysis uses the popularity index and contribution margin method. The study showed that the ala carte menu has four classifications: scilicet 8 Star, 5 Plowhorse, 4 Puzzle, and 2 Dog. Therefore, more detailed performance data has been provided regarding menu items. From the restaurant manager's perspective, this means that the analysis results can be served both short and long-term business goals. Keywords — Istana Nelayan Hotel, Engieering Menu, Sales Volume

Abstract

The purpose of this study is analyze the relationship of brand image, Food safety, Halal awareness,halal certificate and Halal marketing on purchase intention of halal food product. The method used in this research is quantitative method, data collection methods by distributing questionnaires to 120 halal food consumers in Indonesia. The method for processing data is by using PLS and using the SmartPLS version 3.0 software as a tool. The population in this study are consumers in Indonesia The questionnaire was distributed electronically using simple random sampling technique. The results showed that the variables of halal awareness, health, and perceived value showed a significant and positive influence on purchase intention. This shows the increasing awareness of consumers about the halalness of products, brand image,food safety affects purchase intention of halal food product, halal awareness affects purchase intention of halal food product,halal certificate affects purchase intention of halal food product, halal marketing affects purchase intention of halal food product, which increasingly encourages consumer interest to buy halal food products.

Abstract

This study investigates whether increased attention given to coaching practices affects performance, while considering the mediating effect of team commitment. Data were collected from 145 employees of a private manufacturing industry in Tangerang, Indonesia using quantitative methods and confirmatory surveys. This study shows that coaching has a positive and significant impact on employee performance, either directly or indirectly through team commitment mediation. The results of this study could have significant implications for HR managerial decision-making regarding the coaching practice process in the manufacturing industry employees in Indonesia. This study also helps the HR management of the manufacturing industry to seriously assess their HR development investment plans in the form of coaching practices and direct their company's HR strategic planning.
