Abstract

Current economic developments require high creative power to deal with highly disruptive markets with rapid changes. This is in line with the creative economy policy launched by the government. Batik is one of the products of the creative economy that was developed by Indonesia long ago. In Jepara, currently there are 32 Batik SMEs, one of which is Batik Kembang Mulyo, which is different from the others because it produces natural batik using environmentally friendly materials, namely utilizing biological natural resources through natural coloring. Of course, this needs to be balanced with the existence of innovative batik motifs so that they are not monotonous, where previously only limited to plant motifs, now it is necessary to create new designs through postmodern batik designs or artistic designs so that they are more marketable and competitive in the market. Through this community service activity by collaborating with MSME partners, it is hoped that the Kembang Mulyo batik industry will be able to develop the batik industry in Jepara so that it can compete in the market. The dedication method is carried out through Jepara Nature Batik Fashion Show activities, seminars in the form of lectures, focus group discussions (FGD), and workshops.

Abstract

Digital transformation is developing rapidly and has become a global trend. It encourages sustainable practices in various sectors. These sectors include digital finance, blockchain and cryptocurrency, and e-Government. This Community Service (PkM) is three sessions from the NUNI IT Online Seminar Phase 6 with the topic "Digital Transformation for Sustainable Practices" organized by the Nationwide University Network in Indonesia (NUNI) and held on 27 May - 7 June 2024. This PkM explains three materials about research in digital finance, understanding blockchain and cryptocurrencies in the digital economy, and challenges and obstacles in e-government in Indonesia. The third session was held on 28-30 May 2024. The results of this activity were the transfer of knowledge and the addition of participants' insight and knowledge about the topics presented.

Abstract

Desa Mangunjaya is one of the tofu producers in Bekasi. Tofu is a soy-based food that is usually produced by household industries using traditional technology, which currently experiencing environmental problems with inadequate waste disposal. Production activities from the tofu industry will certainly produce solids and wastewater. These wastes can harm the environment. Tofu wastewater contains very high organic compounds and nutrients so that it can be recycled to produce other useful products. Therefore education was held for residents around the tofu factory regarding the utilization of tofu liquid waste into handicrafts by processing the liquid waste into nata de soya first. The method used in this education is to provide information and explain the stages of manufacturing. The purpose of education is to explain to residents so they can process tofu wastewater into goods that have a sale value, beside that residents can know the importance of processing waste so it does not cause environmental pollution. The result of education is that residents understand the use of tofu liquid waste and the program implemented has succeeded in achieving the expected goals.

Abstract

Eco-enzyme is one of the potential organic waste processing technologies in the future. This community service activity aims to provide training on eco-enzyme household waste management in the Ujung Residence housing environment and youth groups in Ngujung Village, Maospati District, Magetan Regency. This activity begins with the dissemination of technology and the use of eco-enzymes through interactive lectures and discussions, followed by demonstrations of eco-enzyme production by the resource persons. The assessment is carried out according to a process that includes the presence of participants, enthusiasm/enthusiasm and response to training activities, as well as ecological enzyme products produced by the participants' production houses. The results of the service show that the training activities have been able to improve the knowledge and skills of the community in processing organic waste into ecological enzymes. The results of the evaluation showed that the response, enthusiasm, acceptance, presence and participation of the community in the training activities were very good. The eco-enzyme product produced by the participants was considered successful if it met certain criteria, namely brown color, distinctive fruity odor with a slight alcohol aroma, acidic pH (3-4) and free of mold or maggots.

Abstract

Utilization of Information and Communication Technology, one of which is a computer, is increasingly being used day by day. Various applications on the computer make it very easy for users, especially to complete daily tasks. The Kopia Insani Foundation in the South Jakarta area has not experienced the maximum use of computers. Weaknesses in data processing at the Kopia Insani Foundation can be seen in managing foundation data, due to a lack of technological knowledge and no use of computers in managing the Foundation, and a lack of human resources in operating computers. This community service activity is carried out in the form of training to improve computer operation, as a form of understanding technology and information within an organization or company. The results of this training activity are to improve the operation of computer programs, namely Microsoft Office applications, in the form of increasing the skills of trainees towards more detailed knowledge about using Microsoft Office, which can be used in data processing accompanied by various case exercises.

Abstract

This Community Service activity aims to provide socialization and counseling to the students of the Bintang Harapan Nursing Pharmacy Vocational School so they can learn about the legal aspects of abortion. With this socialization and counseling, it is hoped that the students of the Bintang Harapan Nursing Pharmacy Vocational School can be careful and scrupulous about matters relating to legal aspects of abortion and the applicable professional ethics. This community service activity method uses interaction quiz methods, counseling, discussions, and case study learning practiced by participants and lecturers. The implementation of this community service involved lecturers at the Pelita Bangsa University Law Study Program in collaboration with the Bintang Harapan Pharmacy Vocational School, Cibarusah District, Bekasi Regency, West Java as the target subject.

Abstract

The focus in this article is the development of a hydroponic vegetable business. The hydroponic system is well known by the public, in addition to the relatively easy system and application of this system, the grower does not interact with the soil, the hydroponic system is also one of the implementations of the agricultural intensification system. Because the planting rack can be made with a multilevel system, so that with a small area, it can produce quite a lot of plants. The problem faced by hydroponic farmers is the marketing system. Often hydroponic farmers with home scales still have difficulty in marketing their products, the problems are more or less as follows; 1) The operational cost of hydroponic plants is relatively expensive, this affects the selling price. While the general public at the vegetable craftsman only knows conventional vegetables, where the operational costs are relatively cheap and are sold at low prices. So often hydroponic vegetable products cannot compete in price. 2) The market for hydroponic vegetables is in supermarkets, but hydroponic farmers on a home scale with small and relatively unstable production capacity find it difficult to enter supermarkets. These two things are the basis of this writing, which is expected to be a reference for hydroponic farmers in order to optimize existing market opportunities.

Abstract

Dengue Hemorrhagic Fever (DHF) is a disease caused by the dengue virus which is transmitted through the bite of the Aedes aegypti mosquito and the incidence depends on the geographical location and local climate. With the development of cases of DHF, it is necessary to have a special breakthrough to improve the quality of life of the community because it has a very significant impact on life safety and its impact on the socio-economic family. Educational activities are carried out using lecture, discussion and question and answer methods. Most of the people in the Tanjung Karang environment are still lacking in knowledge regarding the prevention of dengue fever, so many people have never handled mosquito larvae at home, even though this method is very effective in preventing the occurrence of dengue fever.

Abstract

Klanceng bee cultivation is an opportunity for rural communities who have biological resources as an alternative economy. This Community Service was carried out in Tanggulangin Village, Punggur District, Central Lampung Regency. This activity takes place from January to March 2022. The aim is to help business development and marketing of klanceng honey. The main problems experienced by klanceng bee farmers are (1) it is difficult to market their harvested klang honey because the price is higher than other honey, (2) the klanceng honey bee farmer group has not yet been formed, (3) the absence of packaging registered with BPOM. The method used is the method of discussion, mentoring, and training. The results of the activity are in the form of planting bridal tear flower seeds, euphorbia flowers and mango tree seeds, creating an account at the e-commerce online store to reach a wider marketing of klanceng honey products. The packaging technique at the time of the training was still using ordinary plastic bottles which were less attractive and there were no brands registered with BPOM, so the PKM team assisted in making packaging brands and registering products with BPOM. With this PKM activity, it is hoped that the klanceng bee farmers will be able to manage their business so that they can become an alternative economic source and improve welfare.

Abstract

A small industry has a close relationship with the existence of human resources as the driving force of the small industry itself. SME "Kayu Kreatif" is engaged in wood processing which so far has only been limited to door and window frame products. The rest of the wood that is not used is finally just wasted without being used. Aspects of problems with partners related to production aspects and aspects of logo and brand management. The problems and solutions that will be raised are: 1). Wood waste has not been utilized which then only becomes waste and causes further problems so that the solution that will be given is assistance in making cellphone holder craft products with wood waste materials and 2). Products that have been made need to be branded and patented so that in marketing they will have a strong product. The solution that will be given is to create a logo and brand to prepare the product to be marketed.
