Abstract

This study aims to analyze the development of ICT media products in Islamic Cultural History (ISH) learning and to describe the stages in developing these ICT media products. This study uses a literature review method (library research), namely by collecting and analyzing various relevant literature sources, such as scientific journals, books, articles, and previous research results related to the development of ICT-based learning media. The results of the study indicate that the use of ICT media in ISH learning provides a significant contribution to increasing learning interest, understanding of concepts, and active participation of students. In addition, ICT media is able to present teaching materials more interactively and contextually. The stages of ICT media product development in general include: identification of needs, design planning, content development, initial trials, evaluation, and product revision and refinement. Thus, the development of ICT media that is planned and based on student needs is very important to improve the quality of ISH learning as a whole.

Abstract

This study investigates the impact of competence, training, and career development on the performance of teachers at SMP XYZ in Bekasi City. A quantitative research approach was employed using a survey method, with data collected through questionnaires distributed to 30 teachers. The sampling technique applied was the saturated sample method, ensuring all teachers participated as respondents. Instrument validity and reliability tests confirmed that all questionnaire items were both valid and reliable for analysis. Data were analyzed using multiple linear regression to determine the relationship between the independent variables (competence, training, and career development) and the dependent variable (teacher performance). The results revealed that competence has a positive and significant effect on teacher performance, indicating that higher levels of teacher competence contribute directly to improved performance. However, training and career development did not show statistically significant effects on teacher performance. The Adjusted R Square value of 0.547 indicates that 54.7% of the variance in teacher performance can be explained by the three independent variables, while the remaining 45.3% is influenced by other factors not included in this study. These findings emphasize the critical role of teacher competence in enhancing educational outcomes and suggest that schools should prioritize competence development to improve teacher performance effectively.

Abstract

The complexities of moral teaching in modern society have intensified due to the rapid impact of globalization, technological progress, and evolving social dynamics. Concerns include moral degradation, reduced reverence for teachers and parents, and increasing misbehavior among adolescents demand immediate intervention from the educational system. This study employs a descriptive qualitative methodology through a library research approach. The principal source is Ayyuhal Walad by Imam Al-Ghazali. Data collection was executed using documentation, and content analysis was employed for data interpretation. The findings suggest that Imam Al-Ghazali’s insights in Ayyuhal Walad establish a significant basis for moral teaching among adolescents. His ideology emphasizes the necessity of a comprehensive equilibrium between academic advancement and emotional-spiritual growth, contending that knowledge devoid of virtuous behavior, genuine aim, and spiritual purification is ineffectual. Al-Ghazali's educational philosophy synthesizes intellect, emotion, and spirit, striving for ethical excellence and proximity to the holy. His ideas are significantly pertinent to contemporary moral education frameworks, providing a structure that promotes both academic proficiency and spiritual and ethical development. Al-Ghazali's educational framework—comprising tazkiyah, takhalli, and tahalli—constitutes an essential enhancement to contemporary education systems that frequently overlook moral and spiritual growth.

Abstract

The significance of technology in enhancing student participation in Islamic Religious Education (PAI) is important in the contemporary digital age.  The rapid progression of information and communication technology (ICT) has revolutionized numerous facets of education, including PAI.  This study seeks to examine the influence of technology on enhancing student interest and engagement in PAI learning, as well as to comprehend how technological tools captivate and sustain students' attention.  A qualitative descriptive research design utilizing content analysis was employed to collect data from various scientific databases, including Google Scholar, ResearchGate, ScienceDirect, ERIC, DOAJ, Portal Garuda, and SINTA, to assure credibility and timeliness.  The findings indicate that technology in PAI transcends its position as a teaching aid, acting instead as a catalyst for pedagogical reform that fosters comprehensive student participation.  When utilized correctly and proportionately, technology fosters an engaging, contextual, and significant learning environment that facilitates the deeper and more practical integration of Islamic ideals into students' lives.  Technology plays a crucial role in changing PAI training into a more engaging, significant, and character-enhancing experience.  When utilized judiciously and combined with effective educational strategies, technology acts as a crucial catalyst for improving student engagement and fostering Islamic values in a more relevant and significant way.

Abstract

This study seeks to evaluate the teacher performance management methodology based on the Merdeka Mengajar Platform at State Elementary School Blang Cut, Mila Subdistrict, Pidie Regency. This research utilizes a qualitative methodology to thoroughly examine the application of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform throughout the teacher performance management cycle, encompassing planning, implementation, organization, and control. Data were gathered via interviews with the principal and instructors, with observations of the Merdeka Mengajar Platform's usage and examination of documentation. The research findings aim to elucidate the advantages, obstacles, and facilitating and impeding elements within the performance management model derived from the Merdeka Mengajar Platform at State Elementary School Blang Cut. This research identifies the Merdeka Mengajar Platform's potential to enhance performance administration efficiency, facilitate teacher self-reflection, and support ongoing competency development. This research seeks to ascertain the impact of the Principal's Planning, Implementation, Organization, and Control, as informed by the Merdeka Mengajar Platform, on enhancing teacher performance at State Elementary School Blang Cut, Mila Subdistrict, Pidie Regency.

Abstract

The adoption of Internet of Things (IoT) technology at PT. Kabelindo Murni Tbk. marks a significant milestone in leveraging integrated systems. By using a single application, positioning the company as a pioneer in IoT implementation within Indonesia's cable manufacturing industry. Thus, in this study aimed to examines the impact of IoT adoption on technological adaptation between organizational culture change and corporate goals achievement. Here, the qualitative method is performed to analyze the organizational culture change from several respondent. In this study, the data taken from subjective experiences of respondent from 2 managers, 2 supervisors, 1 management trainee, and 5 production staff.  The parameter is includes improving product quality, optimizing energy resource usage, increasing the effectiveness of raw material utilization in cable production, and fostering changes in organizational work culture using IoT technology at PT. Kabelindo Murni Tbk. The result shows an adaptation IoT as a new technology is increasing decision-making processes, productivity, efficiency, effectiveness, and product quality. Thus, the IoT technology can improve organizational work in the company especially over wire production line.

Abstract

This study examines the implementation of collaborative academic supervision by senior high school principals in Pidie Regency and its impact on teacher performance. Using a qualitative, descriptive approach with in-depth interviews, field observations, and document analysis at SMAN 1 Mutiara and SMAN 2 Mutiara, the research identifies three key phases: planning, implementation, and follow-up. In the planning phase, principals and teachers jointly design supervision agendas addressing actual learning needs. Implementation emphasizes dialogue and reflection through classroom observations, group discussions, and individualized mentoring. Follow-up activities include training, workshops, and peer supervision to sustain pedagogical improvement. Findings indicate that collaborative academic supervision enhances teachers’ professional competencies in lesson planning, classroom management, innovative methodologies, and learning assessment. It also fosters a collaborative culture, dynamic learning environments, and greater teacher motivation for ongoing development. The study offers theoretical insights for developing collaboration-based supervision models and practical guidance for principals, supervisors, and policymakers in crafting effective, context-sensitive supervision strategies to improve educational quality.

Abstract

Scabies, caused by the mite Sarcoptes scabiei var. hominis, is a contagious skin disease often found in densely populated environments like dormitories, prisons, and Islamic boarding schools. This study investigates the relationship between personal hygiene, Clean and Healthy Living Behavior (PHBS), and the incidence of scabies among students at Darussalamah Islamic Boarding School. The examined variables include skin cleanliness, hand and nail hygiene, towel hygiene, genital hygiene, clothing cleanliness, and bed and linen hygiene. Using total sampling, all students participated, with data collected through observation, interviews, and questionnaires, analyzed via the chi-square test. Results showed 82.6% of students experienced scabies, with significant associations found between personal hygiene variables and scabies incidence, except for environmental cleanliness (p-value = 0.069). The study provides two primary and two alternative strategies to prevent scabies outbreaks, emphasizing the importance of improving hygiene practices to reduce the disease's prevalence in such settings.

Abstract

This study explores the implementation of coaching-based academic supervision using the TIRTA framework to enhance teacher professionalism in two “Sekolah Penggerak” junior high schools, SMPN 1 Muara Tiga and SMPS Sukma Bangsa, in Pidie Regency, Indonesia. Employing a qualitative case study design, data were collected through in-depth interviews, classroom observations, documentation, and teacher performance analysis to ensure comprehensive and reliable findings. The TIRTA framework, integrating the GROW Model with stages of Goal, Reality Identification, Reflection, Challenges, and Action, fosters a dialogic, reflective, and empowering supervision process, shifting principals’ roles from authoritative evaluators to facilitators of professional learning, as supported by Cognitive Apprenticeship Theory by Collins, Brown, & Newman. The results shows indication that TIRTA-based coaching enhances teachers’ reflective practices, intrinsic motivation, and pedagogical skills, with 72% of teachers reporting significant improvements in their teaching abilities. The approach promotes a collaborative and independent school culture, aligning with Transformational Leadership Theory by Burns, and Kolb’s Experiential Learning Theory. Despite challenges in time management, the TIRTA model proves effective in fostering continuous professional development and improving instructional quality, contributing to long-term educational advancements.

Abstract

The COVID-19 epidemic significantly impacted the worldwide tourism sector, resulting in a notable decrease in both domestic and foreign tourist arrivals in Bandar Lampung. The Bandar Lampung Tourism Office, as the principal institutional authority managing the city's tourism sector, was necessitated to react swiftly and efficiently to a developing issue. This study examines the crisis communication management tactics employed by the office during the pandemic. This research adopts a post-positivist perspective and utilizes a qualitative, descriptive technique to analyze crisis communication during three essential phases: pre-crisis, crisis, and post-crisis. The results demonstrate that the pre-crisis timeframe was marked by inadequate preparedness and a lack of proactive risk mitigation strategies. The crisis phase demonstrated a more nimble institutional response, characterized by adaptive methods, intersectoral collaborations, and innovation-driven modifications to tourism operations. During the post-crisis period, the Tourism Office implemented communicative techniques aligned with the Situational Crisis Communication Theory (SCCT), encompassing image restoration, stakeholder reassurance, and strategic media framing to influence public opinion and restore trust. These observations enhance the broader discussion on crisis communication in the public sector and emphasize the necessity for robust, theory-based frameworks in tourist governance during global shocks.
