Practical activities have a very important role in science learning, because they can improve the quality of learning which leads to improving the quality of students. The purpose of implementing this community service activity is to provide knowledge and skills to science subject teachers in conducting experiments through science practicum by utilizing environmental-based materials and tools. In addition, it is also expected to support the Continuous Professional Development Program through the Zoning-Based Learning Competency Improvement (PKP) organized by the Ministry of Education and Culture through the Directorate General of Teachers and Education Personnel (Ditjen GTK). This activity was carried out at SMP Negeri 1 Idi, with the number of participants as many as 70 science teachers at the junior high school level in Kabupaten East Aceh. The methods used in this activity are socialization, training and assistance in the use of environmental-based science practicum tools and materials, as well as education on the use of environment-based science practicum guides. The results of the positive participant response activities were seen from the increase in the interaction of participants' questions and answers during the discussion and the results of the teacher's professional assessment questionnaire answers on average, namely 81.6% belonging to the good category

Banda Mulia Subdistrict is one of the subdistricts in Aceh Tamiang Regency which is the center of shallot production in Aceh. Shallot production in Banda Mulia District reached 12.5 tons/ha. The Blessing Fried Onion Business Group is a business group engaged in the production of fried onions. The production process of fried onions is still done in a very simple way so that the production process takes a longer time. The goal to be achieved in this Community Empowerment Program is to provide assistance in the form of an onion peeling machine, an onion slicing machine, and a spinner machine. The specific target of this Community Empowerment Program activity is the development of fried onion micro businesses by utilizing technology in the production process to be able to improve the community's economy. In an effort to achieve these goals, the Community Empowerment Program team implemented several methods, starting with conducting surveys and direct interviews with the fried onion business group in order to obtain information on the main problems faced by partners. The Community Empowerment Team then provided assistance to partners by handing over the epidermis peeling machine, onion slicing machine and spinner machine so that the production process would be shorter.

This Community Service Program aims to empower the community through the utilization of banana weevil waste in Matang Panyang Village, East Langsa. Based on the analysis of the situation in the village, there are many banana plants, both on vacant land and in resident’s house. The nature of the banana tree that only lasts for one harvest and then will be cut for plant the new one will of course be a problem for surrounding environment because so far the banana weevil has only been thrown away and cannot be used, so that it only becomes as a waste. This condition became the basis for the this program to carry out community service to utilize banana weevil waste to produce the liquid organic fertilizer. The partner in this program is resident of Desa Matang Panyang, who will be trained in making local microorganism from banana weevil waste as decomposers of liquid organic fertilizer.This program will be carried out in several stages: preparation, socialization, field practice, and monitoring. This program is expected to produce a productive and independent community as an effort to empower the community by utilizing surrounding waste. The expected output of this program is the existence of an independent community effort in innovating the use of banana weevil waste as a decomposer for making liquid organic fertilizer which can be used directly in improving the quality of the community's agriculture.

To keep agricultural production running and have the option to make an expansion in farmers income then there is needed apllying mina padi cultivation agricultural technology. The purpose for this activity is to acquaint technology agriculture to increase income the community. Activities are carried out using the village community empowerment methode and the activity implementation. The targets are farmers, traders, youth organization and representatives of PKK. The outcome acquired are the arrangement of joint business and increment the income of farmers.

Desa Tumpok Teungoh terletak di Kecamatan Banda Sakti, Kota Lhokseumawe. Ikan gabus merupakan salah satu jenis ikan lokal yang memiliki kandungan protein yang sangat tinggi. Selain itu, ikan gabus juga merupakan ikan air tawar yang memiliki kandungan nutrisi terbaik yang sangat bermanfaat bagi kesehatan seperti meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh, penyembuhan luka, menjaga keseimbangan cairan sel serta penyembuhan dan pencegahan penyakit. Sebagai sumber protein yang sangat digemari masyarakat luas, ikan ini dapat diolah menjadi berbagai macam produk pangan. Salah satunya hasil diversifikasi olahan ikan gabus adalah bakso dan nugget. Kegiatan pengabdian masyarakat melalui penyuluhan dan pelatihan ini berdampak positif dalam mengatasi permasalahan yang dihadapi masyarakat ibu rumah tangga di Desa Tumpok Teungoh. Hasil survei menunjukkan persentase ibu rumah tangga yang mengetahui teknologi penganekaragaman pengolahan ikan gabus meningkat drastis. Mereka memahami konsep pengolahan ikan gabus, manfaat dan nilai gizi ikan gabus, teknik pengolahan ikan gabus dan jenis pengolahan ikan gabus. kegiatan ini juga sangat mendukung salah satu program pemerintah dalam Program Gemarikan yang digagas oleh Kementerian Kelautan dan Perikanan, yang bertujuan untuk bersama-sama membangun kesadaran gizi secara individu dan kolektif masyarakat agar mereka suka makan ikan, dengan harapan dapat meningkatkan daya tahan tubuh dalam menghadapi pandemi COVID-19. Para peserta sangat antusias dan berharap dengan mengembangkan produk olahan ikan gabus dapat meningkatkan biaya pendapatan.

Gampong (village) Paya Gaboh is a village located in Sawang District, North Aceh Regency. The people has activities as farmers, a small part of traders, craftsmen, civil servants, entrepreneurs and others. Most of the people of Paya Gaboh Village live in a housing complex with a small yard. A limited yard if used optimally will be profitable. Hydroponic technology is a solution for people who have limited yards. The success of hydroponic technology is highly dependent on knowledge and skills. Hydroponic activist must know the media for hydroponics to be profitable. The Team from the Faculty of Agriculture Malikussaleh University carried out training on making hydroponic growing media from organic waste for the Community of Paya Gaboh Village Nisam District, North Aceh Regency. The aim is to transfer knowledge and skills on how to make and use growing media for hydroponics from insitu organic waste (rice husks and coconut husks). The method was to an agreement between the implementing team and the village head and the community in Gampong Paya Gaboh, then the community is given knowledge and training: how to hydroponic building design, create a growing medium, sow seeds, made and used nutrients and how to plant with a hydroponic system. The results of the training showed that the participants were very enthusiastic and very serious about participating in the training and demonstrating how to implement it step by step. Some communities have implemented planting with a hydroponic system as obtained during the training.

ABSTRACT Reuleut Barat is a village assisted by Malikussaleh University which is classified Inceptisol soil as sub-optimal land that has a low pH and comes from low of organic matter. The low quality of land in the West Reuleut area as marginal land that is less productive has an impact on the low income and welfare of its people. The limitations of productive land can be overcome by the application of biotechnology innovations by utilizing microorganisms through the application of organic fertilizers. Organic fertilizers can be obtained from a waste processing process known as the 3R (reuse, reduce and recycle). Making eco-fermentation is done by sorting household waste as an initial step in producing organic fertilizer by processing vegetable waste materials such as fruit peels such as papaya, pineapple, oranges which are added with molasses as an activator of microorganisms in the fermentation process so that the final product obtained is a liquid that is easy to use in its application to the ground. The application of Eco-fermentation fertilizers as organic materials containing microflora has a role in increasing the activity of marginal soil microorganisms into productive land through the weathering process of soil organic matter which can improve the physical, chemical, and biological properties of the soil so that ultimately it can increase soil fertility which can increase crop production of Reuleut Barat village. Training in mushroom cultivation has been chosen to be conducted in this community empowerment program, as we believe that this training can support the community in Desa Mesjid, Syamtalira Aron District Aceh Utara, not only to increase their income, but also can enrich their knowledge in serving healthier diets for their family. The main objective of this program was to increase community income and to enrich the knowledge about healthy foods by teaching them how to cultivate oyster mushroom. The results showed that the community was enthusiastic and satisfied with knowledge they obtained from the training. Ninety percent of them said it was a great, informative and useful activity. There is an increase in their knowledge about mushroom cultivation from 23% to 78%, and also how to process the mushroom into crispy fried mushroom and mushroom nugget and then to market them from 23% to 73%.

The purpose of this activity is to provide an overview of information regarding the cultivation of catfish in the aquaponic system of Budikdamber (bucket cultivation) to increase student creativity and open up business opportunities for students. This training activity is an illustration of how a bucket (budikdamber) can be used to increase student income and open up knowledge for students. Students can carry out cultivation activities with narrow land and lower costs, besides that this aquaponics system is also effective and efficient to be applied in schools. The cultivation method of catfish with the Budikdamber aquaponic system uses probiotics to maintain water quality during maintenance. The frequency of feeding is twice a day, namely in the morning and evening, the amount of feed given is based on the body weight of the fish. After participating in this activity, students can understand and carry out catfish cultivation with the aquaponic system of budikdamber (cultivating in buckets. The result of this service activity is the development of student insight about catfish farming in buckets (budikdamber) with an aquaponic system and also students' skills in processing and caring for catfish and cultivated plants.Furthermore, the development of catfish enlargement cultivation can optimize the use of available land to increase production yields. This PKM is motivated by the inadequate empowerment of PKK cadres in Aceh Tamiang Regency in utilizing the coral environment in their respective villages and the lack of maximum knowledge of cadres in cultivating potential plants through the tabulakar and tabulampot systems. The purpose of this PKM is to train PKK cadres in Aceh Tamiang Regency to maximize the potential of the yard in rural areas by using the tabulampot system so as to increase community welfare with a creative economic system. The method of implementing this PKM activity is to use the method of applying science and technology which is carried out with a system of training and mentoring for tabulampot activities. The results of PKM that have been achieved are increasing the knowledge and skills of PKK cadres in Aceh Tamiang Regency in cultivating potential plants through the system and tabulampot.
